My head instantly started pounding once He opened the door. The room was white washed with a lavender scent, and the main feature was the loud grandfather clock resting against the wall. There was one small bed, big enough for Tim and I. It had a simple look to it, yet it was so warm and inviting. There was also a small side table with a dusty lamp. This all seemed so familiar to me that it made my stomach churn. Slender man placed Tim and me on the bed, and he carefully dusted his suit. His wounded appendage was growing back, but dripping hot black liquid onto the floor. Tim was in some sort of hypnotic trance. He stared blankly at the ticking clock.

I kicked my shoes off and snuggled into one of the pillows. After a few breaths, I could smell vanilla within the sheets. I sat back up, looking for Him.

"Hey, Slendy, I- whoa…" I stopped mid-sentence, my eyes widening in shock. I, well… um…
Slender man was by the door, taking off his suit jacket. He slung it onto the built-in rack at the back of the door and adjusted his tie. I was completely flustered and my face was as red as ever. This seemed like an inappropriate scenario.

"Hm?" He asked, oblivious to what he has just done.
"Umm… You… " I stuttered like an idiot. Trying to keep my calm, I inhaled and changed topic.

"So… Where are we?" I asked.
"Underground." He said, like it was a normal thing.
"Right…"

The lights in the room started flickering, but at the click of His fingers, they stopped.

"I apologize for the instability of the wiring. This room is quite old."

At his statement, my temples started pounding again. I cringed in bed and made some horrible hissing sound. Tim broke out of his trance and started shaking my shoulder.

"Sis, you alright?" He asked. He looked pale and sickly, almost like he was going to pass out. My vision started getting blurry, and right before I fell asleep, I heard my phone ring.

I had another dream. This time though, it was much more vivid. I was in the same room, yet I shared it with the unfamiliar faces of children. Neither Slender man nor Timmy was there. I stood up from the bed and looked out the window. The sky was pinkish-orange; the sun was ready to set. There was also a playground there, much similar to the one to which He brought me. Children were laughing and playing in the swings and the merry-go-round. I smiled at the beauty of the outdoors. My smile quickly vanished as the sky turned blood red. The trees started catching fire. The children's skin melted and their bones were exposed. They quickly charred to black and then exploded into ash. I panicked and returned my attention to the children inside the room with me. They were still smiling and playing happily.

Almost too soon, though, their jaws dislocated and fell onto the floor. Their eyes became dark and their skin shriveled. The room caught fire and the children laughed maniacally, slowly melting into a puddle of black goo.

The black sludge grew and formed Him. He was towering 15 feet above me. With one swoop of his arm, I was at eye level with him. He formed a wicked smile, and he smiled the most gruesome and horrific smile anyone could imagine. His teeth were sharp and pointy, and then that's when it happened. He pulled me in for a kiss. His teeth pricked my lips and blood started to come out. His tongue licking away all the blood and drinking it greedily.

I pulled away for a moment, feeling violated and disgusted.
He smiled even wider that his lips ripped and his blood tainted my face in droplets.
"Will you be a good girl, Therese?" He smiled maliciously.
I couldn't respond. I was frozen in fear. His appendages tugged on my hair painfully. One wrapped itself around my mouth. I couldn't breathe. I was shaking in sheer terror. This was a nightmare.

I woke up with a start. I screamed an ear-splitting scream. Tim covered his ears in agony and Slender man cringed. Cold sweat made it way down my back, and I could feel my entire body heating up. What the hell was that all about? I still shook in fear. That was one of the most disturbing dreams I've had.

Slender man sat beside me on the bed. He stroked my hair and hushed me.
"What's wrong?" He asked. He seemed so concerned. I was on the verge of tears, and when Tim jumped in to give me a hug, I had a breakdown right then and there. I snuggled into his warm chest, tears soaking his shirt. He was surprised at my sudden actions, but he quickly accepted and embraced me like a father would. Father….
This entire journey had made me forgot who I am. Where is father? He's probably worried sick about me. What about mom? What would she say? Elsie? School?

I cried even more, and Slender man had to let go unless he wanted to be completely soaked in salty tears. He laid my head gently onto the pillows and patted my head, calming me down. After what seemed like forever, I managed to arrange my thoughts and collect myself. I looked at him with downcast eyes and pleaded one thing from him. An answer.

"Please…" I whimpered. "Take me back home."
He inhaled audibly and slumped his shoulders forward.
"I'm afraid I cannot do that, Therese."
"WHY NOT? WHERE AM I? WHAT THE **** IS GOING ON?!" I screamed, my eyes filling with rage and confusion. He tightened his grip on my shoulder.
"What manners you have." He said in a sarcastic tone. Man, this guy was getting on my nerves. For hours, I rambled about how much crap I've gone through. We argued like a married couple. Tim shuddered in fear in the corner of the room.

"P-please stop." Tim begged me. I shrugged.
"F-fine. Just for you…"

The rest of the time we remained silent. No one talked. I scooted closer to Him, but he moved away. I attempted again, yet he scooted closer to the edge of the bed.

"Hey, I'm trying to apologize here, douchebag." I said. He remained so silent. I groaned and shoved him off the bed.
"Why do you have to be so complicated! Stop messing with my head, you're killing me!" I screamed. At my words, He flinched, like a bone in his body had snapped. What had I done?

My fury was quickly replaced with curiosity and guilt. I rushed over to him to see if he was okay.
"Are you okay?" I said, panicking. "Did I do anything?"
"No, you didn't…" He said. His voice got raspier. I hugged him tight.
"I'm sorry…" I whispered. He ruffled my hair.
"Don't be… I should be sorry." He said with guilt. I wanted to ask again, why? But I pushed aside the question, it could make matters worse. What mattered was that I was here, in the warm embrace of a monster, with a very peculiar feeling. Something that I never would have expected. I liked the way he smelled, his sarcasm, his… well everything about him. No matter how pissed I would get, I would still come crawling back to him.
