When T.J. told everyone about the plan and the reason behind it, they were all on board. The preparation for the revenge took almost two months in the making. During the gaming day, T.J., Jason, and the characters that were off that day would work on and practice their parts of the plan. After the arcade closed, everyone else would do the same. Everything was finally ready and the plan was set in action. After the arcade closed, T.J. and Jason went to perform the first act of the plan. Both disguised in hoodies and sunglasses, they stood across from the entrance to Fix-It Felix Jr. They waited for Felix to come out of the game to go get Tamora as he always did. Moments later, Felix emerged with Felicia. They both headed over to Hero's Duty. With Jason looking out, T.J. went over to the entrance of Fix-It Felix Jr. and put up a poster on the wall. They both walked away casually. Once they were a good distance away, they waited for T.J.'s family to come back. Minutes later, the three walked out of Hero's Duty and headed back to Fix-It Felix Jr. They spotted the poster on the wall.
"What's this?" Felix took it from the wall and examined it. "Oh my land! It's T.J.!"
"Let me see that!" Tamora took the poster from Felix and looked at it as well. It was T.J. with Jason. T.J. wore a short strapless black corset dress with black ruffles, spiked bracelets, spiked heels, and black skeleton earrings. Jason wore a red shirt with a skull and crossbones, a black and white studded belt, spiked bracelets, black pants with chains and black and white shoes. The top of the posters read "The Runaway and the Unplugged." The bottom read "One Night Only, Guitar Hero, 8:00 p.m. The Missing Have Returned!" "That is T.J.! She's in Guitar Hero!"
"Should we go get her?" Felicia took the poster.
"Of course not! She obviously wanted you to see this for a reason. If she wanted us to get her, she just would've come home. The girl has been gone for almost four months. It wouldn't be that simple."
"She's right, Fix It. There's a reason she's doing this. She obviously sending us a message with this concert. We'll go tonight and see what it's about."
"Cool. You guys can go on. I, on the other hand, have a date with my friends and a Surfoff."
"I don't think so, young lady. You're going with us."
"What? That's not fair, Mom! I have plans tonight! I've been looking forward to this for months!"
"There will be others, I'm sure."
"That's not fair! Why do I have to go?" Felix stepped between the two blondes.
"Felicia, sweetheart, your sister has been gone for four months. Don't you at least want to see her?"
"I can see her at home. I have things to do. This isn't fair!" Felix had finally snapped.
"That is it, Felicia! I am sick and tired of your nasty attitude! I am a very, VERY patient man, but my patience has run out with you! The world does not revolve around you! You are not the most important person in the world! Not everyone needs to make things in your favor! Your sister has been through so much and all you can think about is yourself! This is about her, not you! And we are all going to go to this concert and be there for her! If you even try to leave, you will never leave the game again! And you will have to spend everyday with Mary, helping her make pies for the game for the next six months! Are we clear, young lady?" The two women stared at the small man in shock. Felix barely ever even raised his voice and never went on a rant like that. Felicia was more afraid of him then than she ever was of her mother.
"Yes sir."
"Good. Now, go back in the game and go to your room. You will stay in there until we get ready to leave."
"Yes sir." She got on the tram and headed back in the game. Felix let out a breath and relaxed. Tamora knelt down to his level.
"Wow, Felix. Didn't know you had it in you."
"Neither did I, ma'am."
"You know, it's kinda a turn on." She grabbed his shirt and pulled him into a passionate kiss. When she let him go, his face was bright red.
"Tammy! You've given me the honeyglows something awful!"
"I know. You'll be having them even worse tonight." Felix could feel his face grow even warmer. Tamora stood up, took his hand, and they both headed into the game. Once they were gone, T.J. and Jason headed back to Guitar Hero.
"Wow. Now that was something."
"I know. My dad has never been that mad before. I've never seen him go off like that. Ever. I guess he really does want me back home."
"I told you they do. And that rant should be an interesting topic when you go back home. You sure you're ready to go back?"
"Yeah. I'll have to sooner or later. If everything goes like it should, I'll be more than ready." They got on the tram and headed into Guitar Hero. They walked into the mansion and saw everyone getting ready. "Hey, Midori. You finished with the video yet?"
"Yes. Video is done and ready for showing."
"Good. Everyone! Can you gather in the living room for sec?" Everyone stopped what they were doing and gathered around. T.J. stood on the coffee table. "Okay, everyone. We have less than an hour until the show starts. First, I just want to thank all of you for helping me with this. I'm so grateful for this and Jason and I thank you for all that you've done for us."
"You two are like family to us. Once a Hero, always a Hero."
"Thanks, Jenny. Now, are y'all ready to rock this place like never before? To put people in their places? To give 200% and give the best performance you have ever given before in your lives?" They all screamed and cheered. "Let's get ready to rock this thing!"
"You heard the girl! Heroes! Let's go!" They all left to get ready, still ranting and high-fiving each other. Jason helped T.J. from the table.
"Awesome speech, babe."
"Thanks. You think I'll do okay tonight?" He put his hands on her shoulders and looked her directly in the eyes.
"I think you will do perfect tonight. Things will go even better than you can imagine."
"Thanks. That makes me feel much better."
"It should because it's true. Come on. Let's get ready." They headed up to their room.
It was almost eight o'clock and evetyone from Fix-It Felix Jr., Tamora, Felicia, and Vanellpe were entering Guitar Hero. As they entered, there were rows of of concert seats from the front of the room to the back. Some characters were already sitting in their seats. Jenny walked over to the group.
"You all must be T.J.'s family, correct?"
"Yes, ma'am. Is it possible that we can see her before the show?"
"I'm sorry, Mr. Fix-It. T.J. said not to let anyone see her before the show. I do apologize. We have a reserved seaction for you all. If you'll follow me, I'll lead you to them." She lead them to the front and they saw the first two rows were reserved with each person's name on a seat. Tamora, Felix, Felicia, Ralph, and Vanellope all sat in the first row together. The Nicelanders took up the remaining seats. There were a few empty seats on the second row that had "Extras" signs on them. "Okay. The show will begin shortly. Enjoy."
"Thank you, ma'am." She nodded and headed backstage. Felicia groaned in frustration.
"This sucks. I can't believe I am missiing the surfing tournament of the century for this." Vanellope glitched on Felicia's lap sitting Indian style.
"You know, you could be happy. You haven't seen your own sister in four months. If she was my sister, I'd be happier."
"Well, I'm not you, am I? Four months wasn't long enough."
"What happened to you? You used to be fun. You and T.J. used to like each other."
"Things change when you get older. That's something you'll never know about."
"Hey, I may be nine, but I'm also thirty-five. I've watched you and T.J. everyday since the day you were born. You were two peas in a pod. Two nuts in teh same shell. Two peanut butter cups in a wrapper. Two..."
"Are you going somewhere with this, Vannie?"
"Yeah. You guys did everything together. Loved and hated the same things. You were exactly the same until you turned twelve. That was when things went bad between you two. I noticed it as soon as it happened. T.J. stayed the same way she always was. You were the one that changed. You just resented her for no reason. What happened between you two to make you hate her so much?"
"That's none of your business, Vannie."
"Well, whatever it is, you two need to work it out or she may be gone for good next time." She glitched back over to Ralph. Felicia considered this for a moment, but pushed it aside as she saw Bobby and his crew. She got up and greeted them.
"Bobby, what are you doing here? I thought you were going to the Surf Off."
"I was, but then I saw these fliers about the freaks performing. I wouldn't miss this train-wreck for anything. Then, I can give them the pounding they deserve after the show."
"Now, that I have to see. There are some extra seats down there. I would sit with you, but I have to sit with my parents and they're pretty pissed at me right now, so I don't want to push anything."
"That's cool. As long as you're here to see the real show." They sat in the extra seats and Felicia went back to her seat next to her parents. Minutes later, the lights dimmed and a spotlight shined on Jenny on the stage.
"Ladies and gents, characters from all games. Welcome to our special night in Guitar Hero. For those of you that have been here before, things will be different tonight. You'll see what I mean later, but first, a little video to kick things off. Enjoy the show!" She walked off as a screen lowered from the ceiling and the video began. It was T.J. and Jaswon sitting in a room, both facing the camera. T.J. spoke first.
"Hello, everyone and welcome to our show. We have a special night planned for you."
"That we do."
"First, I'd like to say this show is dedicated to my lovely sister Felicia Fix-It." A spotlight shined on Felicia. Felicia was both confused of the spotlight and embarrassed that everyone now knew they were sisters. "For years, she has called me names, picked on me, and denied me as her sister. She's the reason behind my physical and emotional scars. If it hadn't been for her, I never would've left home."
"And this show is also for Bobby and his crew." Another spotlight was on the group. "If they hadn't cornered T.J. in the Main Plug and beated her half to death, I never would've met her."
"So, all of this is because of these people here. Hope you ass wipes enjoy your show." The video ended and the screen went back up. Tamora and Felix turned to their daughter.
"Felicia Rhonda Fix-It! Is that true?"
"Well..."
"You're grounded for the rest of your life! And your friends are dead!" All the lights suddenly went out and smoke rose from the stage. Two silhouttes were seen rising from the stage. The light shined on the stage and revealed T.J. and Jason. T.J. wore a strapless blue and black lace corset dress, black lace stockings, fingerless black lace gloves and dark red heels. Jason wore a white shirt with a black vest, a black tie, black skinny jeans and black and white converse. He held a red and black electric guitar. The crowd cheered as they saw the couple. T.J. approached the mic.
"Hello, Litwak's Arcade! Are you ready for a show?" They all cheered again. "Alright then. Just to let y'all know, these are my own songs that I wrote myself. This first song was inspired by my sister Felicia. It's called 'Everybody's Fool.'"
Perfect by nature.
Icons of self-indulgence.
Just what we all need,
More lies about a world that...
...never was and never will be.
Have you no shame? Don't you see me?
You know you've got everybody fooled.
Look, here she comes now.
Bow down and stare in wonder.
Oh, how we love you.
No flaws when you're pretending.
But now I know she...
...never was and never will be.
You don't know how you've betrayed me.
And somehow you've got everybody fooled.
Without the mask, where will you hide?
Can't find yourself lost in your lie.
I know the truth now,
I know who you are,
And I don't love you anymore.
It never was and never will be.
You don't know how you've betrayed me.
And somehow you've got everybody fooled.
never was and never will be.
You're not real and you can't save me.
Somehow now you're everybody's fool
The song ended and the crowd went crazy. Tamora and Felix were impressed of their talented daughter. The band started to play a different song.
Now I will tell you what I've done for you -
50 thousand tears I've cried.
Screaming, deceiving and bleeding for you -
And you still won't hear me (going under)
Don't want your hand this time - I'll save myself.
Maybe I'll wake up for once (wake up for once)
Not tormented daily defeated by you
Just when I thought I'd reached the bottom
I dive again
I'm going under (going under)
Drowning in you (drowning in you)
I'm falling forever (falling forever)
I've got to break through
I'm going under
Blurring and stirring the truth and the lies.
(So I don't know what's real)
So I don't know what's real and what's not (don't know what's real and what's not)
Always confusing the thoughts in my head
So I can't trust myself anymore
I dive again
I'm going under (going under)
Drowning in you (drowning in you)
I'm falling forever (falling forever)
I've got to break through
I...
So go on and scream
Scream at me I'm so far away (so far away)
I won't be broken again (again)
I've got to breathe - I can't keep going under
I dive again
I'm going under (going under)
Drowning in you (drowning in you)
I'm falling forever (falling forever)
I've got to break through
I'm going under (going under)
I'm going under (drowning in you)
I'm going under
After a few songs, they took a break.
"Okay, everyone. We're going to take a quick break, but you won't be bored. The video we are about to show is for my parents. Enjoy, guys." They walked off as the screen lowered. The video started as Jason messing with a video camera.
"Okay, this is another video journal entry. It is day thirteen of being in the mansion and working on our show. The music in the background is the work of my gorgeous girlfriend working on another song on the piano." He turned the camera to show T.J. on the piano. "Say hello to the camera, my beautiful tortured soul."
"Jase, what are you doing?"
"Just making a video journal. I wish to remember these moments." She playfully rolled her eyes. "So, what's that piece you're working on?"
"If you must know, it's a song I wrote a few years ago."
"Cool. What's it called?"
"'Hurt.'"
"Sounds serious. What's the story behind this one? You always have a story behind your songs."
"Well, a few years ago, my mom and I had a terrible fight. Things were said and feeling were hurt. By the end of it, she stormed out of the house. After she had been gone for, maybe, an hour, my dad went to find her. Hours went by and they didn't come home. I worried like crazy. When my mom is mad or upset, she's not the most focused person. And my dad, he's almost defenseless. Hero's Duty is a dangerous game for them to be in. Felicia kept taunting me, saying that I was the reason they left and that they were never coming back. I wrote this song because I didn't think I would see them again."
"But they did come back. Right?"
"Yes, they came back and I had never been so happy to see them than when they came home. I always told myself I would never again argue with either of them again because I don't want my last words to them to be hateful and angry."
"That's deep. Well, let's hear what it sounds like. Sounds like a real tear jerker."
"I guess it kinda is." She started to play the piano.
Seems like it was yesterday when I saw your face
You told me how proud you were but I walked away
If only I knew what I know today
Ooh ooh
I would hold you in my arms
I would take the pain away
Thank you for all you've done
Forgive all your mistakes.
There's nothing I wouldn't do
To hear your voice again.
Sometimes I wanna call you but I know you won't be there
Oh, I'm sorry for blaming you for everything I just couldn't do
And I've hurt myself by hurting you
Some days I feel broke inside but I won't admit
Sometimes I just wanna hide 'cause it's you I miss
And it's so hard to say goodbye when it comes to this, ooh, whoa
Would you tell me I was wrong?
Would you help me understand?
Are you looking down upon me?
Are you proud of who I am?
There's nothing I wouldn't do
To have just one more chance
To look into your eyes and see you looking back
Oh, I'm sorry for blaming you for everything I just couldn't do
And I've hurt myself, oh, oh, oh.
If I had just one more day
I would tell you how much that I've missed you since you've been away
Oh, it's dangerous
It's so out of line
To try and turn back time
I'm sorry for blaming you for everything I just couldn't do
And I've hurt myself by hurting you
"That...That was beautiful, babe." His voice was cracked.
"Aww. You're crying."
"No, I'm not. I just got something in my eye." She got up from the piano and went over to him, taking the camera and putting it on him. He covered his eyes with his arm, but you could still see the tears rolling down his cheeks. She took his hand and moved his arm to reveal his bloodshot eyes. She got in front of the camera and stood beside him.
"This is my handsome boyfriend showing his feelings. That's hard to find in a guy."
"At least you know you chose right." She smiled at him.
"Yes, I did." They shared a kiss and the video ended. Almost everyone was in tears. Even Tamora was getting misty-eyed. Felicia, Bobby, and his gang, of course, were unaffected. Bobby decided to give his input.
"LAME!" His gang and Felicia laughed. Tamora glared daggers at her daughter.
"You think that's funny?"
"Yes, because it's true. That song sucked. And she wrote it out of guilt and fear. It's pathetic! It's her own fault that you two left. She was stupid to pick a fight with you." Tamora was fumming at this point. Before she could go off, Jenny approached their seats.
"Mr. and Mrs. Fix-It? Could you follow me back stage. T.J. would like to see you two." They got up and followed Jenny without a second thought. They were dying to see their daughter after four months. Jenny led them to T.J.'s dressing room. She knocked. "T.J.? I have your parents."
"Come in." She opened the door and allowed them to enter, closing the door behind her. They saw Jason sitting in a chair and T.J. sitting on the make up table next to him. When she saw her parents, she jumped down.
"Hey..." Next thing she knew, she was being squeezed by her parents.
"T.J.!" Still a little stunned, she hugged her parents back. "We missed you so much, T.J."
"You did?" They broke apart.
"Yes. We missed you so much, it hurt. We love you, T.J., no matter what." She smiled when she heard that. Her parents did want her back.
"I missed you guys, too." Felix took her hand in his.
"Sweetheart, why didn't you tell us about Felicia? We would've done something."
"Anytime I did, you guys never believed me. It was her word against mine and you believed her over me. After a while, I just stopped trying."
"T.J., are you cutting?"
"I was. I don't anymore." Jason got up and went over to her. She took his hand and smiled. "And he's the reason why. This is Jason. He's the one that found me the day I left. He saved me when Bobby jumped me in the Plug and he's protected me ever since."
"Thank you, young man, for protecting my daughter."
"It was my pleasure, sir."
"Thanks, soldier."
"Anytime, ma'am."
"So, what happened to you two that made you leave the Plug and come here?" T.J. squeezed Jason's hand and took a deep breath.
"A couple of months ago, Felicia caught us in GCS. She threatened to tell you guys where I was and that Jason kidnapped me if I didn't come home. I relapsed and cut again. I knew Felicia would tell you guys as soon as the day was over, so we left that day. I plan on coming home after the concert."
Outside the door, Felicia and Bobby were listening to everything.
"That bitch! She's going to ruin my life."
"What do we do?"
"I have the perfect idea. I found something that will break her." She held up a DVD.
"What's that?"
"You'll see."
