Hellooooooo! :D

I'm Baaack! And as inconsistent as ever!

So, lemme explain to you a little about this one-shot;

So basically, I went to Dubai on holiday and did some amazing stuff, and so to make you all jealous - because I have no life - I decided to write them all down and build a plot around it, which is what this is!

Great, right? I'm such a nice person.

So, just kerp in mind that this took me soooooo long to write and I really appreciate all your comments :D

Anyhoo, i wont keep you waiting any longer. Voilà!

"Hiyah!" With one final blow, Jack's opponent fell to the ground and Jack was announced the winner of the annual 2013 United states under 18 karate championships. The members of the Bobby Wasabi Dojo erupted into cheers, running up to congratulate their team member while Rudy did his slow motion victory march to a very inspirational tune. Jack and Jerry did their bro-hug thing, Milton nearly got crushed in Jack's strong arms, and Eddie simply offered his victorious teammate a congratulatory handshake in fear of also having the air squeezed out of his lungs. Jack chuckled at his friend's precaution and barely had time to register the short blonde hurling herself in his direction.

"Woah!" He exclaimed as he caught her just in time, narrowly avoided what could have been a very unfortunate fall. He felt her arms squeeze tighter around his back, and found his own hands holding her waist, returning the hug.

"You did amazing," she announced, a hint of pride in her voice. Jack smiled. "Well I couldn't have done it without my very own cheerleader." Kim blushed at the slightly possessive comment, glad that he couldn't see her face.

"I still can't believe we're actually here. I mean, to even qualify for this competition was amazing, but to actually win it, to have beaten some of the country's best young martial artists...i feel like i don't deserve it."

Kim pulled away and took his face in her hands. And what a handsome face it is, oh i just wanna touch - snap out of it, Kim! Now is not the time!

"Jackson Brewer. You have worked so hard, come so far over the past few years and I and everyone else we know are incredibly proud of you. In just a few short years you've achieved what any other seventeen-year-old could only dream of achieving. So don't you dare tell me that you don't deserve this because if you don't, then I don't know who the hell does. But I will smack the karate right out of you if I ever hear you doubt yourself again. Do you understand me?"

She looked him straight in the eyes, determined to let him know how much she meant it. He paused for a second before pulling her into an enormous bear hug, nearly cutting off her air supply, but not enough to make her pull away. It was easy to forget sometimes just how insecure Jack could be, he's usually so confident and cocky that you'd never be able to tell if you didn't pay close attention. He loosened his grip, just a bit, so that he could gently whisper into her ear.

"You always have a way of saying just the right thing...thank you." God, she could have just died, right then, right there.

They stayed like that for a few seconds too long for the hug to remain just platonic, and upon realizing that, jumped apart so fast that you'd think they had been burned. Jerry, Milton and Eddie just stood there, watching them with huge, annoying grins on their faces, obviously wanting to comment on the situation, but before Jerry could open his big mouth, a short man in a very smart business suit appeared in the center of their group, focusing all the attention on himself. He turned towards Jack and smiled coldly ; Not menacingly, just void of emotion.

"Jackson Brewer, my name is Steve Wright," he reached out and shook Jack's hand. "And my company 'cracklejack juice' is the sponsor of this event. Now, as you may already know, the prize for first place is a ten day trip to the United Arab Emirates to visit one of the most outstanding cities in the world, Dubai. You and your whole dojo will be flying first class aboard a two-story plane before arriving in the city, where you will be escorted to the Burj Al Arab, said to be the best hotel in the world. Your tickets will be delivered to your dojo by tomorrow afternoon, and your flight is in one week. Now do you have any questions or can I go back to the mind-numbing job that ruined my marriage and made my children disown me?" Their excitement soon turned into awkwardness and none of them quite knew what to say.

"Ahem," Kim coughed awkwardly. "I think that's all we needed to know, and even a little bit extra," she added. "So thanks a bunch, Steve. Have a nice day." She forced an uncomfortable smile.

"Unlikely," he replied as he turned and walked away.

The gang quickly recovered and were soon jumping about in the air or calling their parents to give them the good news. Jack turned to Kim."Soooo? What do I get for winning us this awesome vacation?" Kim laughed as he wiggled his brows suggestively. "Satisfaction, self-fulfillment, pride, a trophy..." The brunet pouted. "I was thinking something more along the lines of a passionate kiss, or a promise of eternal slavery including back rubs and cooking duty. God, what I wouldn't do to have a plate of your amazing oreo muffins right now. Just thinking about them is making my mouth water...Mmmmm, muffins..."

His blonde friend giggled. It was so stupid how girly she became whenever she was around him. Or maybe he's just the stupid one. Yeah, she thought. Him and his stupid chocolate eyes, stupid silky hair, stupid toned body, stupid panty-dropping smile, stupid- okay, Kim, we get the point. Now speak before he starts to think you're on meds! Right, speaking, I'm on it.

"Oh shut up, Homer Simpson. Now go take a shower. God knows you need one."

Jack placed his hand over his heart. "You wound me with your harsh words, Kimmy. Ow!" He should have seen the punch coming. He knew she hated that nickname, but he just couldn't resist winding her up. It was worth the slight pain too see that cute, frustrated expression on her beautiful face that only ever appeared around him. He loved that he was the only one able to fluster her like that. Although he'd never tell her that, not in a million years. He'd probably get hit. In the groin. Multiple times.

"Oh, shut up. You know you love the dirty talk. Speaking of dirty," Kim pinched her nose and gave him a pointed look. He threw his hands up in defeat."Fine!" He feigned annoyance. "But," a devilish grin appeared on his face. "I'd be finished quicker if you helped me wash my back...or my front..."

"God, you are disgusting! Now go on, shoo! And don't come back until you and your dirty mind are clean!" Kim watched as he sauntered off, clearly amused. God, she was never gonna be able to survive a whole ten days of that. No way.

"Come on, come on, come on! Hurry up, you guys! We'll miss the flight if we're not checked in by eleven!" Rudy frantically tore through the airport looking for the check-in point, the members of the Bobby Wasabi Dojo barely able to keep up. Who would have thought that a man with such short legs could walk so fast?

"Uh...Rudy," Milton panted, his bony figure threatening to give way any minute, now. "You do realize that it's 9:57, right? We still have a whole hour before we need to be checked in. Relax."

"Yeah, dude," Jerry piped in. "And that's coming from the kid who comes to school twenty minutes early every day just to make sure that he's there on time. I think we can chill, here."

Rudy slowed down. "Wait, you mean that it's not 10..." He checked his watch "59?! Crap, my watch must be an hour Late! Dammit! That means that I did still have time to rinse my hair this morning! Gosh, do you have any idea how irritating it is to walk around all day with shampoo in your hair? No, i suppose you don't, do you, because you all had time to RINSE!" The teens all nearly burst in to laughter at the little man's erratic behavior. All of a sudden he stormed off, yelling "If anyone needs me, I'll be in the men's room, rinsing my hair!" He paused a moment, thinking about what he gad just said. "...In the sink!"

Kim was sitting comfortably in the airport waiting room, waiting patiently-not really, she was practically jumping up and down in her seat- to board the long-awaited flight to Dubai. Now, Being the very sensible, organised girl that she was *AHEM!*, as soon as she had gotten home from the tournament, she had immediately googled her destination. After all, she didn't exactly feel like going on holiday and finding out that you're not allowed to drink a milkshake upside down, or that you're not allowed to ride an emu on any street beginning with the letter C-what? She sometimes has strange urges. Get over it.

Anyway, she discovered plenty of interesting facts about the city on her little investigation, like...Dubai currently held 56 world records, including the highest building, the fastest elevator, the biggest shopping mall...*Squeal!* and that it only rains there, like, twice a year. Hot. She made sure to pack only shorts and tank tops, and the occasional dress or skirt. God, she just couldn't wait!

"Excuse me," she heard a feminine voice coming from next to her. She turned around and faced the person. "Hi, yeah, um...do you have change for a five dollar bill? The drink dispenser over there only accepts coins." The girl was pretty; medium-length brown hair, cute face, and big, brown eyes. Kim gave her a warm smile before saying "Sure, no problem. Just gimme one sec-" she took out her purse from underneath her seat ad dug through it, furiously searching for her purse. The girl saw her struggle. "Hey, you know it's no biggie, i'll just ask-" "Found it!" Kim beamed as she held up her purse in triumph. She unzipped the little pocket and dug out the change. "Here you go. That should be the right amount, but feel free to make sure; i kinda suck at math." The brunette smiled kindly, taking the money and handing Kim the bill.

"Thank you so much, I'm, like, dying of thirst here. You want anything?" Kim shook her head. Nah, thanks, I'm good. Just happy to help." The girl tutted. "Nonsense! If it weren't for you I'd be fainting in five minutes. Besides, when we get to Dubai american dollars will no longer be valid. Might as well make use of them while we still can, right?" Kim liked this girl. She sensed that they were going to get along just fine. "Okay, if you insist, I'll take a cracklejack juice. I can't get enough of that stuff."

"I know, right? It's, like, totally addictive! Seriously, i wish i could work for them just to get free juice every day. So delish!" Kim thought back to the miserable little buisnessman and shuddered. "Oh, don't be so eager. I hear it's not all sex, drugs and juice over there. Trust me on this one." The girl laughed. "You're funny. My name's Mika."

"Kim"

"Jerry!" Both girls turned around to see Jerry relaxing on the seats next to them, a goofy grin on his face. They gave him a perplexed look.

"Oh, my bad. I thought we were all just shouting out names." Mika let out a small giggle. Oh god. Was she seriously giggling at Jerry? Poor girl. No idea what she' s in for. Jerry was also staring at the girl with a love-struck look in his eyes. Kim couldn't blame him. He'd finally found a girl who found him funny. Hell, Mika deserved a medal.

Kim coughed awkwardly, snapping the two teens out of their stupor and asked her new friend, "So who are you here with? Parents, sibling, FBI...?"

"I'm actually here on my own. I'm flying over to visit my dad. He moved to Dubai about two years ago. This'll be my second visit. I can't wait."

"Huh, so you're flying alone? Isn't that a bit dangerous?" Kim smiled at Jerry's cute concern for the girl he'd met only moments ago. Ah, young love. Although she wasn't really one to talk. She was just the same with Jack. Oh, the things that boy did to her. And he didn't even know it. She took a quick peek at where the object of her affection was standing, over on the other side of the waiting room. He had generously given up his seat for a little old lady, and was currently standing in the middle of a fat-guy sandwich, an uncomfortable expression on his face, taking it like a man. Could he possibly be any more perfect?

"Well, I'm not exactly alone. I mean, i have the air hostesses guiding me through the airport and looking after me on the plane. It's a bit annoying, actually. But i don't mind, it means that I get to board the plane first, with all the first class passengers."

"Oh, cool," jerry said, excited. "We're first class! Our dojo won the 2013 under 18 karate championships, so we all got free first-class tickets and a ten-day stay at the Buralara hotel." Mika looked at him strangely. Kim laughed. "He means the Burj Al Arab. And our team didn't win the competition, Jack did. He's the one over there being squished by the two sumos. Jerry here just sat on the bench and cheered him on." Jerry gave her and evil look. "Thanks, Kim. Way to embarrass me in front of the cute girl." Mika smiled. "you think i'm cute?" The latino blushed furiously. "Uh, well...that is, I-"

"I was just about to get some juice. You wanna come with? It's on me." She gave him a coy smile, and Kim knew right then that Jerry was hooked.

She hoped Mika knew what she was getting into.

"So, you nervous?"

Surprisingly, they were not the words of the winner of the 2013 Seaford 'Hair of the year' award, but the blonde black-belt sitting in the seat next to him.

She had that smug look that she'd seen on Jack's face so many times as she watched him glare at her, gripping the arms of his seat so tightly his knuckles turned white.

"Shut up and fasten your seatbelt. You're making me nervous."

"Oh yeah," the girl scoffed. "I'm sure I'm the reason for your little meltdown. It probably has nothing to do with the fact that you were stupid enough to watch 'Snakes on a plane' and 'The grey' Before boarding a large aircraft. What were you thinking?"

"Honestly?" He asked. "I was kinda hoping that you'd get freaked out and I'd get to tease you about it for the whole plane ride. Guess it kinda backfired, huh?"

Kim burst out laughing at that, finding much amusement in her friend's utter stupidity.

"God, you are such a dumbass."

"Did somebody say my name?" The two teens turned around to find Jerry's head poking out into the aisle, looking around, and soon they were both laughing their asses off, earning themselves many annoyed glares from the other passengers.

"Oh my god," Kim breathed, finally able to catch some air after that little fit of hysteria. "I so do not envy Mika right now."

Originally, Mika was supposed to be flying in economy class, but after only ten minutes of sitting next to Jerry, the man next to him decided that he couldn't handle it anymore and bailed, levying a free seat for the poor, unsuspecting girl.

Then, from out of nowhere, Kim felt a slight tremble in the aircraft, and her hand suddenly felt like it was about to snap in two.

"Jack? Ow, Jack sweetie, I know you're anxious but if you keep squeezing my hand like that there soon won't be a hand there left to hold."

Her friend loosened his grip slightly, but he kept a firm hold on her hand as the plane started rumbling again, and was soon in motion.

"Okay, please tell me that this is supposed to happen," Jack's body was stiff as a brick as he turned his head to look at Kim with a panicked expression.

"Dude, chill," she urged him. "The plane's just getting ready to take off. Haven't you ever been on an airplane before?"

His embarrassed expression was all the confirmation she needed, and Kim gave him a disbelieving look, confused by his silent admission.

"But that's not possible; you've been to Europe, Japan, you told us all about your wild trips across the globe with your grandfather. You must have used air transportation at some point."

The scaredy-cat only shook his head rather solemnly. "Nope; we always travelled by sea, gramps always said that he had terrible air-sickness," he gulped. "And now I'm starting to understand why."

"Jack, honestly, it'll be fine," the blonde firecracker tried to convince him. "Once we're in the air, it's all smooth sailing - or more accurately, flying - with hot food, tv and reclining seats. Life is good when you're flying first class."

Jack raised an intrigued eyebrow. "Oh yeah? And how would you know so much about first class? You some fancy, secret agent now, going out on covert operations?" he teased, already slightly relaxing as Kim rolled her beautiful brown eyes at him.

"Hey buster, I do have a life outside of the dojo, you know. Well, I used to…" suddenly, her gaze turned nostalgic, and Jack couldn't help the slight surge of masculine satisfaction that he started to feel at the thought of Kim opening up to him about something obviously important to her.

"Before my dad's back problems were an issue, before you arrived in town, every few months he'd take me on a weekend trip to somewhere amazing with him while he tended to important international affairs. Of course even though he was there for work, he'd always make time for me to take me sight-seeing and go to amusement parks." She had this sort of dreamy look on her face as she seemed to space out slightly, looking out into the distance through the thick window.

"Some of those trips were among the best moments of my life, and now I'm going on another mind-blowing trip, and he's not even going to be there."

Jack hated seeing that sadness in her eyes, he couldn't stand to see her as anything other than her usual, snarky self.

He was just about to try and cheer her up by saying something stupid, but she beat him to it.

"Hey Jack?"

"Hmm?"

He then noticed that the mischievous glint was back in her eyes, lighting up her face again, and he grew instantly wary. What was she up to now?

"We're in the air. The plane just took off and you didn't even notice. See? Now that wasn't so bad now, was it?"

"Oh god," Jack breathed, as he, too, leaned past Kim's seat to get a better glimpse of the outside.

"We're gonna die. We're gonna die and I haven't even got my iPod."

"Oh. My. Mother-fucking God!"

For once, Jerry had said something accurate.

Oh my mother-fucking god, indeed, thought Kim.

First, they arrived at the Dubai airport to find that there was a waterfall, then they stepped outside to be greeted by a solid wall of heat and now…well, now they were all standing in front of a shiny, black stretch limo with a driver holding a sign on which was written 'Bobby Wasabi Dojo'.

They were about to ride in a freaking limousine.

"Alright!" Eddie shouted. "You guys think there'll be champagne?"

"Alright, alright people. Let's keep it moving, put your bags in the boot." The teens did as their sensei instructed and the driver helped them haul their luggage into the back of the limo.

"Now," Rudy announced in a giddy voice, "I wanna see if they have a disco ball!"

…...

"Oh my god guys, check this out!" Jerry was practically jumping up and down as he showed his friends how to recline the seats, bringing down, then up, then down again looking amazed each time.

"Yeah," Milton joined in in his wonder. "And look at these tiny chocolates! They're so adorable!"

"Guys, guys," everyone stopped what they were doing to listen to Rudy. "Let's be serious for a second here, okay?…I mean did you all miss the fact that they have a disco ball!?"

The whole group erupted into laughter at that, and none of them seemed to notice the driver giving them the stink eye from the front seat.

About fifteen minutes later according to the watch that Milton had bought in the small boutique back at the airport, a large, almost sail-shaped building came into view from the tinted windows, and Kim rolled hers down to get a better view.

"Hey boys, I think this is it. The Burj Al Arab. It's supposed to be the best hotel in the world; I hear celebrities like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are regulars there. Hey! Wouldn't it be sooo cool if they were there right now?"

"Why is it shaped funny?"

Kim sighed at her latino friend, shaking her head in despair. "Jer, it's supposed to be shaped like a sail. You know, like on a boat? That other smaller building next to it is the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, meant to look like a wave to compliment the Burj Al Arab. It's all pretty clever, really."

"Well well well, somebody's been doing their homework," Jack teased. "How'd you know all this stuff?"

Kim shrugged. "Like you said, I've been doing my homework. I thought it would be handy to learn a few facts about this place. It really is amazing here."

"Yeah, for sure," Eddie, who had previously been silent, listening to the conversation, spoke up. "Last year my uncle Fred twice removed wrote an article about emerging cities, and he talked all about Dubai and its amazing attractions. They have so many restaurants here, I'm never gonna have time to visit them all."

That got everyone chuckling. Trust Eddie to make everything about food.

"Alright, everybody," the chauffeur's heavy indian accent caught everyone's attention. "We are pulling up into the Burj Al Arab hotel. Feel free to leave a tip."

Rudy squealed. "Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! We're about to stay in a five star hotel! With room service, and everything!"

"I wonder if you can get hot women to fan you with palm leaves here..." Milton didn't realize that he had spoken out loud until he caugh the shocked gazes of his friends.

"What? Haven't you ever met a hormonal teenage geek before?" He defended, and everyone just shrugged, accepting his fantasy as yet another strange fact of life.

Suddenly, the vehicule came to a halt, and soon the doors were being opened by men dressed in fancy tuxedos, greeting the martial artists with a swoop of there arms.

"Welcome," one of them said, "to the greatest hotel in the world."

"WoH woah woah, hold up. You mean to tell us that Tom Cruise just booked one of our rooms!?" Kim was practically bending over the check-in desk, getting all up in the poor receptionist's face.

"Yes, miss," she confirmed, looking understandably uncomfortable. "We're terribly sorry for the misunderstanding; Mr. Cruise checked in earlier this morning and the room didn't register as booked on the computer. Please understand that we cannot just ask him to leave; Mr. Cruise is a valued customer at this hotel and he is paying good money. I am very sorry for the trouble. We will notify you as soon as another room becomes available."

Kim suddenly backed away from the desk, her eyes widening and breath quickening. Her friends all looked at her wearily, unsure of what she was about to do next. The little firecracker could be very unpredictable at times.

"Oh my god! Tom Cruise, the Tom Cruise is here, in this hotel, staying in our room. This is so absolutely EPIC! Grace is gonna be so jealous when I tell her about this!" And with that, she let out a little squeal and whipped out her cellphone, swiftly pressing on the keys and bringing the device to her ear as she wandered a little further away from the group.

"Grace? Oh my god, you are never going to believe this..."

Jack shook his head, perplexed. He was never going to be able to understand that girl.

...

After Kim had finished bragging to Grace and Rudy had gotten the room keys, the gang was escorted up to the hotel floor to get settled in. It was nearing night-time by then, and everyone was more than ready to hit the hay.

They couldn't help but admire the breathtaking decor of the gigantic building, that somehow managed to be the perfect balance of flashy and classy.

The intricate patterns on the walls and the modern, edgy furniture made the place seem almost surreal, and the long balcony had a brilliant view of the floor below, people drinking cocktails at the bar and women in burkas gossipping amongst eachother on the plush lounge chairs.

It was like something from out of a movie.

"Okay, this is it; rooms 407, 408 and 409," Rudy announced gleefully.

"And sorry to break it to you Kim, but room 410 is on the floor above, which you can't access without a room key. So I'm afraid you won't be able to stalk Tom while we're here."

The slightly psychotic blonde seemed unfazed by Milton's words, giving him a sly smile.

"Well he's bound to come out of that room eventually. And when he does...I'll be waiting."

Slightly freaked out by his crush's creepy behavior, Jack cleared his throat and drew the attention to himself. "Soo, who's bunking with who?"

"Anyone but Rudy!" The teens all shouted in unison, leaving their small sensei to stand there, his bottom lip stuck out in a pout and a childish, dejected look in his eyes.

"What's so bad about bunking with me?" He whined.

The rest of the group simply shot him dry looks, each of them obviously having many reasons why they would never wih to share a room with Rudy ever again.

"Because," Milton sighed, "Last summer when we all went camping? You started sleepwalking. And not just walking, oh no, but also eating, talking, and you even tried to crawl into Eddie's sleeping bag for a snuggle."

The young African-American shuddered, obviously finding the memory deeply unpleasant.

"Yeah, man," he said. "I mean, we love you and all, but I seriously needed five weeks of therapy to get over that. You kept calling me Tootsie and petting my head; it was very unsettling."

Rudy sighed, obviously resigned. "Okay, okay, I get it. But one of you is still gonna have to bunk with me. As big as these rooms are meant to be, they're really only supposed to host a maximum of two people, which is why we had originally booked four, because of Kim being a girl person and everything."

The young men seemed troubled by this fact, and they suddenly formed a little invisible bubble around themselves, looking amongst eachother to try and determine who would bunk with who.

When Jerry's gaze wandered over to Kim, Jack's stare suddenly became deadly, and his silent threat was made clear to the rest of the guys; he would be bunking with Kim. End of silent discussion. Milton held in a giggle; Jack was once again being overly-protective, and the scrawny boy suspected that his friend wasn't even aware of it.

Kim, who had caught that slightly vicious glint in her best friend's eyes, suddenly felt her stomach perform a series of roundhouse kicks. She was aware that Jack was fond of her, cared about her, even shewasn't blind to that fact, but she sometimes - mostly in moments like those - found herself wondering if maybe what he felt went beyond simple platonic affection and bouts of attraction, if it was possible that he felt for her what she felt for him - absolute, unadulterated love.

With Jack's mind made up, the three remaining jesters gathered into a little circle and started to engage in a very serious-looking game of rock-paper-scissors, each of them sporting identical expressions of concentration.

Many moments later...(To be read in that voice from spongebob)

"Yes! Rock beats scissors, I won! Take that, twinkle-toes!" After several, sweat-inducing rounds of the game, Milton was pumping his fist into the airin victory, having finally triumphed over Jerry in the lightning round.

The latino, however, was looking like someone had just threatened to shave off all of his beautiful armpit hair, which had taken him months to grow back after that incident with the pep squad.

"Alright, then." Everybody suddenly turned towards Eddie, who had begun speaking.

"So the end results are; I'll be sharing a room with Milton, Jack and Kim are bunking together - no surprise there - and Jerry, poor, unfortunate Jerry wil be spending the remainder of the week with Rudy. Any questions?"

"As a matter of fact, yes," Kim piped up. She was fine with the sleping arragements - pretty excited, even - but something that Eddie had said kept playing in her mind.

She turned towards Jack, ignoring the others' questioning stares.

"Jack, what did Eddie mean when he said that it was no surprise that we'd be sharing a room?" Her innocent question was visibly making her best friend uncomfortable, but there was no hesitation in his voice when he answered her :

"Because they know that I don't like being away from you, and that there's no way that I'd ever let one of these perverts bunk with you."

That last comment earned him some snickers from his friends, who promptly informed him that he was just as much of a pervert as they were, to which he replied :

"That is very true, but if anyone's going to be taking advantage of our little Kimmy, here, it's me."

The bystanding members of the dojo stood back, watching the scene unfold with amusement and fascination, always happy to watch the pair of sexually-frustrated teens verbally - and often physically - abuse eachother. Life was never boring at the BobbyWasabi Dojo, that was certain.

The devilish look in his eyes as he looked at her, along with his provoking words had Kim letting out a little involuntary squeak as she felt her cheeks redden.

Her embarrassment was short-lived though, as only a few seconds later she had recovered, promptly launching herself at her dirty-minded crush, assaulting him with her fists like a little girl.

"Jack, you ass! I'm going to beat your sorry butt into the ground!"

"So...seeing as I'm a girl and you're a chivalrous young man who's madly in love with me and will obey my every command, I think it goes without saying that I get dibs on the bed."

For the past half-hour Jack and Kim had been settling into their suite, discovering the wonders that the Burj Al Arab had to offer.

For fifteen minutes, the pair had been exploring, opening every door and sitting on every chair, sofa or anything sturdy enough to sit on.

It was Kim who discovered the bathroom though, and it had taken Jack a lot of convincing to get her to leave the hot tub. The blonde had wanted nothing more than to fill it up with scalding water and jump right in - god only knew, her muscles needed it - but she had figured that it wouldn't be wise with her crush right next to her.

She had to leave a little to the imagination, after all.

"Oh really?" Jack raised an inquisitive eyebrow from where he sat at the edge of the bed, TV remote in hand, flicking through the various arabic channels on the flat-screen television.

"Yup," the girl replied, popping the 'P' at the end of her word.

"Well that's awfully strange," Jack noted as he finally settled on Animal Planet. "Because I don't think I ever mentionned being madly in love with you, or any other girl who isn't Beyoncé."

"You didn't have to," was Kim's playful response. "I know you want me," she teased, flashing her friend a giant, cheeky grin.

"Oh yeah?" Jack was thouroughly amused. Scooting back further onto the lush bed to be able to face Kim, he asked her :

"Says who?"

The wicked smile on her face told him that that was exactly the question she was waiting for, and Jack was taken completely by surprise as she suddenly jumped up and swung her left leg over his waist, straddling him.

"Oomph!" Jack let out a grunt at the feeling of the beautiful girl pressed up against him. He bit back a moan when Kim wiggled her hips a little, her devilish smirk letting him know that she had him exactly where she wanted him.

"Says you," she finally answered when she felt the tent rising in his grey sweatpants.

As much as she enjoyed the power she had over her best friend, Kim had to admit that Jack wasn't the only one feeling the heat; she was so attracted to him that it wasn't even funny. It was taking all of her will power not to move even closer, scared of how far she might let herself go if she did.

Well, there was no arguing that; she was right - he did want her, so much so that if she knew about al the dirty thoughts he had about her on a daily basis she would smack him into the ground.

So, suppressing his raging hormones, Jack let out a chuckle and shook his head, conceding. "You have a point there," he agreed.

Kim seemed pleased with herself, having proven her point. "I'm glad you're finally starting to appreciate my habit of always being right," she teased, before suddenly letting slip an unexpected yawn.

"Oh, wow, I must be more tired than I thought," she said, yawning again.

"I think...I'm just gonna rest my head for a bit, 'kay?" She didn't wait for Jack's answer as she abruptly snuggled further into his lap - getting him even more riled up - and laid her delicate head onto his broad shoulders, wrapping her arms around his neck for support.

"Kim, what -"

"Shushushushush,"she silenced him. "I just...need a minute to...potato..."

Jack suddenly felt her head become limp as the sleepy blonde lost consciousness, her breaths steadying and her heartbeat forming a steady rythm that contrasted his own, erratic one.

What was he going to do with her?

With a smile on his face, he placed a steadying hand on Kim's back, slowly lowering himself down onto the fancy bed, bringing her with him.

Once he was completely comfortable; his head resting on the plush pillows and the girl of his dreams nestled against him like the world's most amazing blanket, he fully intended to fall asleep as well, feeling a little jet-lagged himself, but he suddenly became alert again at the feeling of his phone vibrating in his pocket.

Using one hand, he reached down and retrieved the electronic device and swiped the screen, unlocking it, before scrolling down his messages.

He had one new one from Jerry :

Yo, my man, the gang's all headin down 2 get some food and free alcohol. U 2 in?

The black-belt smiled at his friend's attitude; Jerry was always up for the stupidest stuff - did he not realise that he was in a muslim city? Where there was no way on earth that they would be served alcohol?

Still, Jack contemplated the idea, if only to see Jerry get kicked out of the bar, but decided that he would much rather stay right where he was, holding onto the gorgeous spitfire that made his heart pound with every word she spoke.

Nah, he replied. I'm out, need sleep now, early morning remember?

He waited a moment for his friend to reply.

K, suit urselves, Im gonna go get drunk! Oh, and use protection! ;)

The karate champion scoffed. Yeah, he wished.

Putting his mobile on silent, Jack placed the phone on the bedside table, grabbing the edge of the soft blanket at the dege of the bed and pulling it over Kim, making sure that she wouldn't get cold during the night.

When one of his hands accidentally brushed against an exposed strip of skin at her waist, Kim let out a moan, wiggling further into him and burying her face into the crook of his neck.

Jack gulped as he felt her lips press ever so slightly onto his skin, her warm breath smelling like the cinnamon gum she had been chewing all through their journey.

He had a feeling that ge wasn't going to be getting much sleep that night.

So, this is probably the longest thing I have ever written. Continuously, I mean. and it's only part one :D

I had actually originally intended to write it all as a single one-shot, but I got impatient and decided to make it in parts, lucky you ;p

Although don't rxpect part 2 to come too soon, as I'm also still continuing DACB and this part 1 took me an eternity to write :/

But still, don't let that discourage you, the next part will be great, too! And we see more of Mika :D

Anyway, make sure to Fav/Follow if you haven't already, and Pleasepleasepleaseplease leave a comment, they make me so happy! :3

I love you all so much my little moonpies!
