"Flaw In The Plan."
The recap from previous weeks is preceded by a scene of Chris standing on the dock of shame, looking incredibly exuberant. For the first time in several episodes, he gives his signature smile and wink in the camera's direction before delivering his opening lines.
Chris: "Previously on: Total Drama Island…Insanity!"
With a flash of the screen, the recap begins with a brief montage of Nourhan's progress throughout the season. This montage includes clips of her voting out Noah, being isolated by her team, and befriending Nathalie.
Chris: "After immense progress was shown by Nourhan, she became the biggest threat in Jonathon's eyes!"
Jonathon is shown talking to Steven about the vote in the previous episode.
Chris: "But Steven had another contestant on his mind…"
Krystal refusing to shoot Sarah is shown, and Steven expresses his worry to Jonathon that her connections with the other team is too strong.
Chris: "Meanwhile, the Screaming Gophers had conflicts of their own to deal with."
Alex and Doug are seen fighting on the beach, putting Josh in the middle of their feud.
Chris: "In the end, Josh chose to stay loyal to his original ally and vote Doug out of the game for good…"
Doug is seen being blindsided at the last Campfire Ceremony, sending himself, Haley, and Henry into shock.
Chris: "Blindsiding Haley and Henry in the process…"
Haley and Henry are shown gasping at Doug's elimination, followed by a clip of swearing he will protect Haley in this game.
Chris: "Tonight , bonds will be broken when the most shocking and devastating blindside occurs on…Total...Drama…Island…Insanity!"
When Chris says this, the camera slowly zooms out at each and every word before finally fading to black.
The Cabins: The Screaming Gophers.
When the recap ends, the opening scene is revealed. The moon is high in the sky and nothing but the sound of crickets can be heard throughout Camp Wawanakwa. All members of the Screaming Gophers are seen returning from that night's Campfire Ceremony. Alex, Krystal, and Josh are leading the group back to their cabins while Henry and Haley are shown walking at the back of the pack. The couple looks incredibly gloomy, their fate being almost certain after the vote's reveal. Everyone piles into their respective cabin, and when the door is shut, Alex finally breaks the awkward silence.
Alex: "I just wanted to thank everyone who voted to save me tonight… It means a lot."
Alex looks into Josh's direction and Josh nods in return.
Confessional Booth: Alex.
Alex: "Josh's decision to keep me did mean a lot to me… It helped me realize that I don't have to go to drastic measures to get people on my side. All my life I've been insecure about friendships that I make, that they're not strong enough or that they're fake, but after last night I know that Josh has my back and I hope he knows that I have his."
Alex nods humbly as his confessional comes to a close.
Confessional Booth: Josh.
Josh: "Tonight I decided to get rid of Doug… The main reason being to keep team harmony. If I voted out Alex, I was upsetting three members of the team, where as getting rid of Doug only upsets two."
Josh lets out a heavy sigh and rubs the back of his head sadly.
Josh: "It wasn't an easy vote… I'm still upset about it. Doug was my friend and Alex couldn't put his selfish needs aside for one night to appease me. It makes me second guess myself about where I actually stand in his eyes…"
Josh looks down gloomily.
The Cabins: The Screaming Gophers.
After Josh's confessional, the seven remaining Gophers are once again shown. The camera pans over to Haley and Henry who are booth looking down at the ground gloomily. Everyone is avoiding eye contact with them as a second awkward silence ensues. After about ten minutes pass, Haley finally speaks.
Haley: "Who voted against Doug?"
Henry reaches his hand up and begins to soothingly rub her back. Nobody responds to her question.
Haley: "All of you?"
Everyone stays silent with the exception of Alex, who speaks hesitantly.
Alex: " I didn't have a choice, Haley. It was him or me."
Haley shakes her head and wipes several tears from her eyes.
Haley: "Then, why didn't anybody just tell us about the vote?"
Once again, there is no reply.
Haley: "Are you guys all aligned? Is that why nobody told us about the vote?"
Henry looks up when she says this, his curiosity getting the best of him. But for the third time that night, there is no answer given. Haley shakes her head and begins to cry harder.
Haley: "I can't even handle this anymore!"
Haley storms out of the cabin in tears.
Henry: "Haley, wait!"
Henry calls after her, following close behind.
The Docks.
The screen is taken over by a white flash, and when it fades out, Haley is seen sitting at the dock of shame with her feet in the water. She is crying rather hardly and sniffling endlessly.
Confessional Booth: Haley.
Haley's eyes match her nose, both of which are red. She is attempting to keep her wails under control but fails miserably.
Haley: "I'm just really upset about everything that happened tonight. I won't be upset not winning the hundred grand because I came in without it so I can leave without it too, but Henry's a different matter…. I really, really like him! He helps me grow as a person and shows me this part of life that I never even knew existed…. The thought my time with him could be cut short… It breaks my heart!"
Haley buries her face in her hands and continues to cry.
The Docks.
Henry comes to a stop when he sees Haley by the water. He looks at her sadly then slowly walks down the dock and joins her, sitting right beside the girl. He wraps his arms around her body and presses her face into his chest. Haley clings to the collar of his shirt as she continues to sob loudly. Henry resumes rubbing her back when she does this. He begins to hush her soothingly and whisper into her ear.
Henry: "We're going to be just fine, Haley, I promise."
Haley shakes her head through her tears.
Haley: "How do you know that?"
Henry: "Because I promised you I'd never let anything hurt you, and I always keep my promises!"
The camera pans out to show the two looking up at the moon and Henry kissing her gently on the forehead. They both sit before the glistening water. It's a soothing moment that brings out a feeling of both love and despair.
Confessional Booth: Henry.
Henry is speaking quietly and his voice sounds rather hoarse. It's clear that he's making desperate attempts to hold back tears.
Henry: "Haley means more to me than any girl ever has. Seeing her like this…"
Henry pauses for a moment before momentarily putting his face in his hands and then lifting it back up.
Henry: "I'll do whatever it takes to spend the entirety of this game with her, and if they think that they can take us down with ease… They're wrong!"
Total Drama Island: Insanity! Intro.
As the opening theme begins to play cameras begin to pop out of strange places, including an underground burrow and a tree. As the last camera comes out, a clapperboard is held in front of the camera and is slammed shut.
"Dear mom and dad, I'm doing fine…."
The camera goes past the dock of shame, revealing the Camp Wawanakwa sign. As the scenery continues to be shown, the camera rushes past Chris then continues up the ever so familiar mountain before going over the cliff and through the ring, venturing into the treacherous waters!
"….You guys are on my mind!"
Hector is shown happily swimming in the water before being frightened after seeing a shark and rushing towards the surface.
"You asked me what I wanted to be, and now I think the answer is plain to see…."
As Hector emerges from the surface, Wyatt and a crying Sarah are seen floating past him on an old, gray plank. From behind his back Wyatt pulls out Sarah's teddy bear and holds it towards her, much to her delight. However, just as he does so, a hawk sweeps down and snatches it, sending Sarah back into hysterics.
"I wanna be famous!"
The hawk flies above Steven, who is in the forest surrounded by pumpkins. As snakes begin to make their way out of the pumpkins, Steven screams like the little girl he is deep down, and begins to run. As the camera zooms out, Nathalie is seen holding a snake and smiling as Jonathon puts his hands on his hips and raises his left brow at her before the sun's vibrant light overcomes this view.
"I wanna live close to the sun."
As the sunlight retracts and a new scene is revealed, Josh and Doug are seen bickering at each other on a raft before going over a waterfall.
"Well pack your bags cuz I've already won."
Matt is seen standing on a long and narrow log, with one hand in the air and one hand on his heart, reciting what looks to be a play in a rather over dramatic light.
"Everything to prove, nothing in my way."
Kelly swings by on a vine, grabbing Matt by the collar of his shirt and taking him along for the ride. As they rush past parts of the camp, she drops Matt into the outhouse which falls over because of this. Courtney tumbles out of the outhouse and walks around slightly dazed before falling over, hitting the ground rather hard.
"I'll get there one day."
The camera pans through the cafeteria window, showing Chef making some kind of disgusting grub before going over to Sam and Eric who are looking at each other dreamily before a spoonful of Chef's food is shoved between them. Looks of disgust are shared between the two before Nourhan and Noah are seen laughing together at a nearby table.
"I wanna be famous!"
As the scene changes to the outdoors, both Kimi and Vittoria are seen admiring Alex who is in the water looking at himself in a small hand mirror.
"Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na…"
As Alex smiles at himself in the mirror it shatters into a dozen pieces, much to his dismay.
"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!"
The camera pans over to the Dock of Shame where the hawk drops Sarah's teddy bear into Krystal's arm. Krystal grins maniacally at this before pulling a lighter out of her pocket and setting the small girl's bear on fire. As laughter continues to erupt from her mouth, she throws the doll up into the air.
"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!"
As the burning stuffed animal falls from the sky, the daylight shifts to night. The bear falls down in between Haley and Henry, who are about to kiss when Brooke, whose hair is now on fire, pops up between them. As the camera begins to zoom out, the twenty-two campers are revealed to be sitting at the Bonfire Ceremony. All of them are whistling with the exception of Brooke who is screaming, Krystal who is laughing, and Sarah who is crying hysterically.
Total Drama Island: Insanity!
The Docks.
The fourteen remaining teens all gather outside of the outhouse at the end of the dock. Everyone is chattering eagerly about the approaching revelation of the day's challenge when Chris and Chef step onto the dock.
Chris: "Morning, campers!"
Chris shows off his recently bleached, pearly whites. He seems surprisingly happy this morning.
Nathalie: "Well, you seem dapper this morning…."
Jonathon: "Yea, what horrible disaster occurred in the world today?"
Jonathon and Nathalie both snicker silently before looking back at Chris, whose mood is not affected in the slightest by Jonathon's sarcastic comment.
Jonathon: "Really…. Nothing?"
Chris shakes his head happily.
Chris: "Nothing could spoil my mood this morning, not even a bratty teenager like you!"
Jonathon and Nathalie both cross their arms and look Chris angrily when he says this.
Nathalie: "Oh, yea? And why is that?"
Chris: "Because….my lawsuit against Brooke has been dropped!"
Chris and Chef begin yelling loudly and cheering obnoxiously, while the other contestants give them blank stares.
Chris: "Which means….we'll be having a feast today!"
Everyone breaks out into cheers when Chris says this.
Chris: "And for today's challenge, you'll be making that food and then you'll all watch me eat it!"
The chatter dies down when Chris, who is now smiling quite pleased with himself, says this. Several campers cross their arms angrily.
Confessional Booth: Nathalie.
Nathalie: "Quite frankly, I could care less about Chris's lawsuit being dropped! In fact, after this is all said and done, I'm probably going to sue him myself for constantly building these challenges in the animal's natural habitat! How would he like it if I built a random hot tub in the middle of his house, huh! ….Okay, maybe that wasn't the best example…Bu-"
Nathalie continues to nag on and on about the environment as the rest of her confessional is fast forwarded.
Confessional Booth: Hector.
Hector: "I can't believe we aren't allowed to eat the food we make… For once, I thought my poor tummy had finally caught a break…"
Hector lifts up his shirt to reveal a smile face on his stomach. He takes out a black marker and turns it into a sad face before looking back up at the camera and whimpering.
Hector: "Poor guy isn't meant to survive Chef's grub alone!"
The Docks.
Chris: "For today's challenge each team will have to elect a head chef who will then help their team prepare a three course meal based off the ingredients in this outhouse! Now get to it, campers!"
The teams both go off in their separate direction to strategize for the upcoming challenge. Over at the Killer Bass, Steven is the first to speak.
Steven: "Does anyone here know how to cook?"
Sarah's eyes light up when Steven says this.
Sarah: "I took a cooking class in middle school! I'd be great for this one!"
Steven rolls his eyes.
Steven: "Yeah, that's real nice, Sarah, anybody else who doesn't still use an easy bake oven?"
Sarah glares at Steven angrily.
Sarah: "Excuse you?"
Steven: "I'm sorry, is that not what the children play with these days?"
Sarah grunts loudly before kicking Steven in between the legs and storming off.
Sarah: "Ugh!"
Steven holds his unmentionables and begins wobbling back and forth with an awkward expression on his face.
Nourhan: "Oh my god, Steven, are you alright?!"
Steven astonishes Nourhan when he topples over.
Confessional Booth: Nourhan.
Nourhan: "Oh my god, I felt so bad for Steven! I wonder why Sarah would do something like that…"
Confessional Booth: Steven.
Steven is talking in an overly annoying and high pitched voice while mocking Nourhan.
Steven: "Oh my god Steven, are you alright!?"
Steven rolls his eyes in annoyance.
Steven: "I'm so sick of how fake she is! She better watch who she's talking to or she'll be the next one voted off!"
The Docks.
After Steven's confessional fuzzes out, the Bass are still arguing on who the head chef should be.
Kimi: "Well, Vittoria's Italian! Maybe we should have her be the head chef and have it be an Italian theme!"
Everyone gasps when Kimi says this.
Kimi: "…What?"
Jonathon: "For once…You actually had a good idea!"
Nathalie shakes her head in disagreement.
Nathalie: "Yea, but Vittoria can't speak English so how is she goi-"
Before the girl can finish, Kimi pushes her face away.
Kimi: "SHUT UP! DON'T RUIN THIS FOR ME YOU ENVIOUS LITTLE BI-"
Confessional Booth: Kimi.
Kimi is writing on a notepad enthusiastically.
Kimi: "July 11'th, 2014; Kimi had her first good idea."
Confessional Booth: Vittoria.
Vittoria: "Me, head chef? Normally I'd be delighted, because if I must say so myself I'm an excellent cook; but there's no way I'm helping these losers win! I can't wait to get rid of some of the girls on this team….Nourhan's this freaky multi cultural disaster, Nathalie…well she's Nathalie, and trust me there's only so many rants about animal rights that a girl can stand! And than there's Kimi…Kimi…Kimi, Kimi, Kimi…. Yea…. To be honest, I keep forgetting she's even here."
The Docks.
The Screaming Gophers are all discussing who should be their leader.
Alex: "Anyone here know how to cook?"
Josh: "I can cook calzones?"
Everyone stares at him blankly for a second before erupting in cheers and over dramatically propping him up on their shoulders and chanting head chef over and over.
Jonathon: "Team Gophers… More like Team Harmony!"
Steven rolls his eyes.
Steven: "How did they pick their head chef so fast!?"
Jonathon shrugs in reply.
Jonathon: "I dunno, probably has nothing to do with the fact that we have two foreigners on our team, a ghost, and a ten year old girl."
Sarah hears this from across the dock and yells at him angrily.
Sarah: "I'M FOURTEEN!"
Sarah chucks a rock straight at Jonathon's face.
Confessional Booth: Sarah.
Sarah: "I'm so sick of these people!"
Sarah rolls her eyes.
Sarah: "So under appreciative!"
The Outhouse.
Josh stands on a box and begins to talk to his team mates loudly.
Josh: "Everyone collect stuff for calzones! If you can't put it in a calzone, than you can't take it out of this outhouse!"
Confessional Booth: Josh.
Josh: "I'm a little bit nervous about my leadership role in today's challenge… I'm not really the talkative type, let alone assertive!"
The Outhouse.
Vittoria see's what Josh is doing and attempts to do the same.
Vittoria: "Realmente non importa quello che sto dicendo dal momento che nessuno di voi mi può capire comunque, quindi basta fare qualsiasi cosa!"
Everyone looks at her, evidently confused.
Nourhan: "What did she just say?"
Kimi shrugs.
Kimi: "Who knows? Lets just grab some pasta and call it good!"
Nourhan smiles happily at Kimi.
Nourhan: "Hey, good idea, Kimi!"
Kimi's face lights up when Nourhan tells her this. Meanwhile, while everyone is looking around for food, Hector is gorging on everything he can find.
Confessional Booth: Kimi.
Kimi is occupied writing in her notepad once again.
Kimi: "Oh man, am I on a roll today or what!?"
Confessional Booth: Hector.
Hector once again changes the face on his stomach to a happy expression. At this point the drawing on his stomach, however, looks like nothing more than a bunch of scribbles. Hector looks into the camera lens and smiles.
The Kitchen: The Screaming Gophers.
Josh is wearing a Chef's hat and Haley's "Kiss the chef" apron, which Chris gave her a few episodes ago.
Josh: "Okay, so…. Any ideas on who should be doing what?"
Everyone looks up at Josh silently, hoping for guidance from their leader.
Josh: "Right… I'm Head chef…"
Josh tap his foot on the ground and strokes his nonexistent beard before beginning barking out orders.
Josh: "Krystal, Alex, do you know how to roll dough!?"
Krystal: "Do you..?"
Alex and Krystal giggle silently at Krystal's comment.
Josh: "No back sass, sister!"
After Josh yells this in her face, she stands up straight and salutes him.
Krystal: "Sir, yes sir!"
Josh: "That's more like it! Now, the two of you are on mozzarella stick duty! Got it!?"
Krystal salutes him again before marching off.
Alex: "Weirdos…"
Alex follows Krystal, while Josh continues to organize the group.
Josh: "Haley, Henry, you two are doing the main course."
Henry and Haley exchange looks of concern.
Henry: "Which is…?"
Josh rolls his eyes in annoyance.
Josh: "Calzones, duh!"
Haley and Henry nod and begin to make the preparations for calzones.
Henry: "Diva…"
Josh: "Hector, that leaves you!"
Hector is jumping up and down eagerly, ready to work.
Josh: "You have the most important job of all…"
Hector: "Oh boy, am I pumped!"
Josh: "You're on…"
Sam: "Yea, yea?!"
Hector's expression fades when they hear what Josh has to say.
Josh: "Kitchen duty! Oooooooh, so much fun!"
Josh smiles reassuringly, pats Hector on the back, and hands him a mop.
Josh: "C'mon Sam, we're making marinara sauce!"
Sam strikes a victorious pose before following Josh.
Sam: "Yes!"
Hector crosses his arms angrily and glares at the two.
Confessional Booth: Hector.
Hector's arms are crosses and his face infers that he is angry.
Hector: "I don't know why Josh chose Sam to help him and not me! Sam's not even from America, she's from Texas!"
The Kitchen: The Killer Bass.
Vittoria is sitting on an old, broken chair, her feet propped up on the stove while she continues filing her nails.
Nourhan: "Uhm…. Vic?"
Nathalie rolls her eyes.
Nathalie: "Don't even bother, she doesn't even understand a lick of English!"
Sarah walks up to join the two girls. She is holding a large plan with what looks to be uncooked pasta in it.
Sarah: "I should've been made head chef, not her!"
Nathalie nods in agreement.
Nathalie: "I agree! Vittoria's overstayed her time on this island anyways…. How has she even survived this long?"
Vittoria gets up and nonchalantly knocks into Sarah. Sarah immediately falls over and pours the boiling hot water in the pot all over Nathalie. Nathalie begins to scream horrifically before bursting out of the kitchen and heading towards the infirmary.
Vittoria: "Oh, me so sorry. Mucho grandee accident!"
Sarah crosses her arms angrily before throwing the pot down at her feet, startling Nourhan.
Sarah: "That's not even English!"
Confessional Booth: Vittoria.
Vittoria is smiling quite smugly, looking very pleased with herself.
Vittoria: "That should teach those girls not to talk smack about me when I'm sitting right there!"
Vittoria gives an evil grin in the camera's direction, and then continues filing her nails.
The Kitchen: The Screaming Gophers.
Henry opens up the oven and removes all the pepperoni calzones. He puts the trey on the nearest counter and begins arranging them nicely onto a silver platter. He looks satisfied with his work and is smiling cheerfully, but his mood is ruined as soon as he looks over and sees Haley sulking. She is rolling out the dough with a rolling pin, looking incredibly miserable when she doing so. Henry looks down thoughtfully before looking back. He begins to whistle nonchalantly before sliding his elbow across the table and knocking several calzones into a strategically placed bag below.
Confessional Booth: Henry.
Henry: "Haley's been really bummed out since last night's vote, I hate seeing her this upset! So what better way to make her happy than snagging some food for tonight?"
Henry smiles cheerfully at his own idea.
The Kitchen: The Killer Bass.
A severely burnt Nathalie walks back into the kitchen with an ice pack pressed to her face. When she reaches the counter that Jonathon is at, she glares at Vittoria angrily.
Jonathon: "Hey, are you alright?"
Nathalie: "Do I look alright!?"
Nathalie removes the ice pack from her face to reveal that several puss-filled blisters have formed on her face. Jonathon shivers in response.
Jonathon: "Well… It's not…that bad…."
Nathalie's face lights up when Jonathon says this.
Nathalie: "Really!?"
Jonathon looks at her with dismay.
Jonathon: "No."
Confessional Booth: Nathalie.
Nathalie: "How could I possibly like Jonathon when he constantly makes comments like that!? Even if he does have nice, brown…curly…luscious locks….and big beautiful, brown eyes…."
Nathalie is resting her chin on her palms and dazing off in what appears to be a daydream about her and Jonathon.
Nathalie: "Oh, who am I kidding!? I think I'm falling for Jonathon…"
Nathalie crosses her arms angrily and rolls her eyes.
The Kitchen: The Killer Bass.
Nathalie glares at Jonathon before taking her finger and dipping it in his pesto sauce. This causes Jonathon to gasp loudly.
Jonathon: "What're you doing!? That's my sauce!"
Nathalie wipes her finger across Jonathon's nose, smearing a strip of pesto sauce down it.
Nathalie: "Oops, slipped!"
Nathalie gives Jonathon a snide smile which annoys him further.
Confessional Booth: Jonathon.
Jonathon: "I can dig a girl who can put up with all my crap and give it right back to me….. Regardless, Nathalie ruined my only denim shirt!"
The Kitchen: The Killer Bass.
Jonathon wipes the sauce off his nose, and than picks up the bowl full of pesto sauce and chucks it at her face. When the bowl makes contact with Nathalie, it drenches her in the gooey goodness. The young girl gasps loudly in disgust, much to Jonathon' s amusement.
Nathalie: "Jonathon! You are so dead!"
The Kitchen: The Screaming Gophers.
Hector is mopping the floor , angrily mumbling nonsense to himself. The camera pans over to Krystal and Sam whispering things in each others' ears and laughing obnoxiously loud about the secrets being shared. The camera pans back over to Hector, whose curiosity has been peaked by the two girls.
Hector: "Hey, what's so funny?"
The two girls leave their counter where they were cooking, and walk past Hector.
Sam: "You wouldn't understand, it's a girls thing."
Sam waves her hand to dismiss this. Hector looks concerned after Sam says this, but then becomes annoyed when the two girls begin to whisper and laugh, once again.
Confessional Booth: Hector.
Hector crosses his arms, and glares away from the camera angrily.
Hector: "First I'm put on custodian duty, and now this!? I sure don't feel like a part of the alliance; I feel more like a fifth wheel!"
The Kitchen: The Screaming Gophers.
While Henry is stealing more food for his surprise for Haley, he notices Josh approach Hector.
Josh: "Hey Hector, do me a solid and set the table?"
Hector looks at Josh angrily and opens his mouth, ready to refuse his request, when Josh interrupts him.
Josh: "Aw, thanks Hector! You're such a scamp! Chris says judging is in ten everyone!"
Josh rubs Hector's hair before walking off. Hector grinds his teeth together and then, without warning, snaps the mop in half on his knee.
Confessional Booth: Henry.
Henry: "All Haley and I need to get back in this game is one crack in the alliance… and I'm starting to think Hector might be that crack…"
A large smile overtakes Henry's face.
The Kitchen: The Killer Bass.
With a flash of the screen, the scene transitions back to The Killer Bass.
Steven: "I'll be right back guys, I'm going to go set the table!"
Steven proceeds to leave the kitchen, and as he does, Jonathon approaches a nearby stove. Sarah is standing by the stove, stirring her pasta that has been cooked to perfection.
Sarah: "Hey J.T. , what's up?"
Jonathon leans on the stove and shrugs.
Jonathon: "Nothing much, just have to borrow this pot real quick."
Jonathon picks up the boiling pot and screams in agony as his hand erupt in blisters from the temperature of the pot.
Jonathon: "AH!"
Sarah becomes frantic as soon as he does this.
Sarah: "What're you doing!? That's not done cooking yet!"
Jonathon calls after Nathalie who is walking past.
Jonathon: "Oh, Nathalie!"
Nathalie turns around to face Jonathon. Right when she makes eye contact with him, he throws the pasta in her direction.
Sarah: "NOOOOOO, MY PASTA!"
Sarah screams in agony and drops to her knees in tears.
Sarah: "WHHHY LORD, WHHHHHY!"
As the pasta comes flying in Nathalie's direction, an over dramatic orchestra type of tune begins to play. Vittoria is then shown sitting on a large, brown box. She is barking out orders in Italian while Kimi files her nails vigorously.
Nourhan: "I've told you like five times now, I can't do whatever you're asking me to do because I don't know what you're saying!"
A close up of the pasta flying through the air, towards Nathalie's face, is shown. As the music continues to speed up, Nathalie ducks just in time to dodge the pasta. It continues to soar across the room until it hits Vittoria right in the face. As soon as Kimi and Nourhan see this, they both gasp. For a second there is silence. Jonathon's mouth drops and Nathalie covers her mouth. Within five seconds, the silence is broken by Vittoria's screams. She runs over to the sink, turns it on, and dowses herself in water in a desperate attempt to rid the searing pain. After about fifteen seconds, she lifts her head from the water and shakes it about like a dog. She then looks at Nathalie furiously, who runs over to her and begins patting her face with a towel.
Nathalie: "Oh my god, I'm so sorry! I didn't know you were standing right behind me!"
Vittoria's face has turned a peculiar shape of red that is only realistic in cartoons.
Vittoria: "Voi….Voi…."
Nathalie gulps loudly as everyone watches in anticipation at what will happen next.
Vittoria: "VOI!"
Vittoria yells loudly before taking a screaming and crying Nathalie by her hair, and dragging her to the nearest counter.
Vittoria: "Si pagherà per questo è vile, pannolino testa, Abbracciare gli alberi, egoista, cagna!"
Vittoria presses Nathalie's head against the counter and raises a butcher knife above her head. Everyone gasps when she does this.
Nathalie: "Somebody do something!"
When Nathalie yells this frantically, Jonathon rushes to the other side of the kitchen, finds a loaf of bread, and chucks it at Vittoria in an effort to distract the loaf hits Vittoria in the head, she throws the screaming and crying vegan to the floor before turning around to face Jonathon.
Vittoria: "Jonathon…"
Vittoria shakes her head disapprovingly and Jonathon takes a large gulp.
Vittoria: "Non avresti dovuto farlo!"
Vittoria picks up an apple that is resting on the counter, and throws it at Jonathon's head. Jonathon ducks just in time and it hits Kimi inbetween the eyes. Jonathon smiles happily.
Kimi: "Uh…."
Kimi goes cross eyed briefly before falling onto the ground.
Jonathon: "Ha! Missed me!"
Jonathon crosses his arms and smiles satisfactorily before being hit with a wooden spoon, courtesy of an angry Kimi. Sarah stands up excitedly, cups her hands over her mouth, and begins to yell.
Sarah: "FOOD FIGHT!"
Nourhan face-palms.
The Cafeteria: The Screaming Gophers.
The Gophers are all gathered around Chris and Chef, watching them anxiously as they finish their meals and dab their mouths with their napkins.
Chris: "Hm…"
Chris taps his chin with his index finger.
Josh: "Well? What'd you think?"
Chris continues tapping his chin before looking up at Josh, smiling, and standing up happily.
Chris: "Delicious meal and amazing food choice! Compliments to the head Chef!"
Chris rushes over to Josh and pats him on the back. Josh throws his arm up in the air, and brings it down in a victorious fashion.
Josh: "Yes!"
Chris: "The Gophers are awarded eight out of ten points for their calzone theme dinner!"
The Gophers all erupt in cheers.
Alex: "Huh, I guess he really can cook calzones…"
Krystal shrugs.
Krystal: "Technically he didn't cook anything…we did."
Alex: "Oh yea…. Good point…"
A happy and satisfied Chris turns to Steven.
Chris: "So, is your team ready to go?"
Before Steven can reply, loud bangs and shatters can be heard from the kitchen. Chef looks at Steven, unamused.
Chef: "Oh, now I know they aren't messing up my kitchen!"
Chef says this in an intimidating tone. Steven lets out a nervous laugh and holds up his finger.
Steven: "Just give me one second!"
Steven rushes to the kitchen and opens the door, his jaw dropping at what he sees. The kitchen is a complete mess with various foods everywhere. Nourhan has a table propped up and is screaming war chants with brownie sauce smeared on her face, resembling that of war paint. Vittoria has a large cake icer. She is squeezing it and moving it back and forth as if she were scar face. (Who she now resembles due to her badly burnt face.) Nathalie is hiding under the counter crying as she is pelted by the icing, which Sarah is catching in her mouth as if they are snowflakes. Kimi is throwing various kitchen supplies, including tables and chairs, at Jonathon; who throws himself over the counter in slow motion. Kimi picks up the butcher knife and throws it. It flies threw the air quickly but is swiftly caught by Steven, who looks incredibly furious with his team. As soon as everyone sees him, they all drop what they're doing and look at him fearfully.
Steven: "What is this blasphemy of my leadership!"
Steven slams the knife down, accidentally hitting Kimi's fingers. Kimi erupts in screams of agony as soon as he does so.
Steven: "Oops…"
Kimi drops to her knees in tears, her screams catching Chris's attention in the process.
Chris: "What's going on in he-"
Chris doesn't finish his sentence before seeing Kimi's bloody hand, and Nathalie and Vittoria's burnt faces. He gasps loudly and immediately drops to his knees and begins crying hysterically.
Chris: "WHY! MY LAWSUIT JUST ENDED! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU CRAZY TEENS AND YOUR CONSTANT NEED TO DISMEMBER EACH OTHER!"
Chris buries his tearful face in his hands while Steven inconspicuously whistles before dropping the knife and kicking it under the stove.
Nourhan: "So….are you ready to try out pasta!?"
Nourhan smiles hopefully, but Chris just stares back blankly.
Nourhan: "I'll take that as a no…"
Nourhan hangs her head low while Chris stands up and regathers his composure.
Chris: "Killer Bass, I will see you psychos at tonight's campfire ceremony, which means The Screaming Gophers have won today's challenge!"
The Screaming Gophers begin to cheer loudly but are interrupted by an angry Chris.
Chris: "NO CHEERING!"
Confessional Booth: Josh.
Josh is smiling happily, looking quite confident with himself.
Josh: "Today's challenge brought out a whole new side to me. A side where I'm confident, assertive, and a leader! I'm sick of taking the back seat with Alex and Krystal, I should be in the driver's seat! After today, I know that I'm capable of making decisions for myself. From now on, if Alex and Krystal don't agree with the moves that I want to make, then I guess they're going to have to find a new alliance because I'm not going to have a repeat of Doug at the next Campfire Ceremony!"
Confessional Booth: Steven.
Steven: "I just think it's so unfortunate tha-"
Steven snorts a bit.
Steven: "That I-"
Steven once again makes a strange gagging noise, as if trying to conceal his laughter.
Steven: "I butchered my own sister's hand!"
Steven burst into laughter mid-sentence and begins to laugh so hard that he cries. He wipes away a tear with his middle finger while holding his gut with the opposite hand.
Steven: "Whew, that was good!"
Confessional Booth: Nourhan.
Nourhan's hands are on her knees and she looks like she's thinking rather hard.
Nourhan: "The vote should go without saying tonight, Vittoria has to be the one to go! She's outlived her usefulness to us; she can't even speak English for god's sake! Every time she tried to call the shots today, no one could even understand her! Now that I think about it… Why did Steven elect her as head chef when she can't even speak our language…."
The Cabins: The Killer Bass.
Everyone is in the cabins with the exception of Vittoria and Kimi, who are in the infirmary for their wounds.
Jonathon: "So…what was everyone thinking for the vote tonight?"
Nourhan is rubbing the back her neck.
Nourhan: "I think it should be Vic. I mean, she's one of the reasons we lost today and it's not like she's going to be of any use to us in any future challenges."
Nathalie crosses her arms and nods snootily.
Nathalie: "I agree, bitch needs to go!
Steven nods and turns to Sarah.
Steven: "Sarah?"
Sarah nods quietly.
Sarah: "If you guys want Vic, then let's vote Vic."
Jonathon nods.
Jonathon: "So we're all in agreement then? Vittoria it is!"
Confessional Booth: Sarah.
Sarah: "I'm feeling really confident about tonight's vote. Everyone is pretty dead set on Vittoria, so I think that for the first time this season I have nothing to worry about."
Sarah is smiling happily.
Confessional Booth: Jonathon.
Jonathon: "I think that the three girls are all feeling really safe and secure right now, but they're wrong."
Jonathon lets out a small laugh.
Jonathon: "They all think that Vittoria is going home, when in all actuality Vittoria is in the core alliance of four. So in that sense, I think tonight will be the biggest blindside yet. I don't think any of them are going to see this coming."
The Infirmary.
Steven and Jonathon walk to the infirmary and at the bottom of the girl's beds.
Vittoria: "So, whose name are they throwing around tonight? Mine?"
Steven nods and Vittoria laughs in a cocky tone.
Vittoria: "Lemme guess, it was that tree hugger's idea! Well, I think that she should be the one to go!"
Beads of sweat begin to form on Jonathon's head as he begins to look very nervous for his new friend.
Jonathon: "Don't be ridiculous, I have that girl wrapped around my finger! We need to think strategically, not personally!"
Steven nods.
Steven: "Exactly, which is why we need to get rid of Sarah!"
Jonathon looks at Steven in astonishment.
Jonathon: "What, no!? Nourhan is strong in challenges, she's an independent player, and she's really smart! If we don't get her out now she's going to find out there's something going on between us!"
Steven rolls his eyes.
Steven: "I'm the leader of this alliance, what I say goes!"
Kimi, Vittoria, and Jonathon all look wide eyed when Steven says this.
Vittoria: "Oh, really?"
Vittoria gets up from her bed angrily and gets up in Steven's face.
Steven: "Really!"
Steven also stands up.
Steven: "Unless you'd like to challenge my authority! Oh wait…you can't, because last time I checked you've been playing the role of the confused foreigner who can't speak a lick of English! So, unless you'd like to run off and tell everyone you've been lying to them this entire game and get yourself eliminated, it looks like you're stuck with me! Now, as I was saying, what I say goes and I say we vote out Sarah tonight! End of story!"
Jonathon crosses her arms.
Jonathon: "No! Nourhan has to go tonight!"
Steven rolls his eyes and turns back around to face Jonathon.
Steven: "Sarah's connection with Krystal will ruin us at merge, we've already established this!"
Jonathon: "Sarah is weak, she will never survive on the bottom of this tribe! Nourhan's been there all her life, she knows what it's like to struggle and she knows what it's like to never give up! After tonight she will know that we're aligned and she will stop at nothing to take us down!"
Kimi: "Okay guys, let's just cool it down a bit and think rationally!"
The feuding villains all turn around and yell at Kimi.
Vittoria, Steven, and Jonathon: "NO!"
Chris's voice can be heard over the intercom.
Chris: "Bass, you have five minutes until the Campfire Ceremony!"
Steven places his hands on his hips and speaks to his allies sternly.
Steven: "Here's how this is going to go: we're all going to come to a decision tonight, and ultimately it will be my say on whether the person decided goes home or not! I hope that I've made myself very clear that I don't have a problem shaking things up if things don't go my way…"
Steven's bottom lip curls.
Steven: "Now, I'll ask you unworthy brats one more time, who do you want to vote tonight?"
Vittoria and Jonathon both cross their arms and look at each other, than back to Steven .
Confessional Booth: Jonathon.
Jonathon: "After everything I've done for Steven, and now this?"
Jonathon shakes his head and rolls his eyes.
Confessional Booth: Vittoria.
Vittoria: "Am I scared of Steven?"
Vittoria rolls her eyes and flips her hair.
Vittoria: "As if! Steven should be scared of me! He's messing with the wrong queen on this island, I'll tell you that much!"
Confessional Booth: Steven.
Steven: "I'm starting to think my allies disobedience stems from my lack of bitchness exerted these last couple days… Make no mistake, I haven't gone soft! I'm not afraid to make sacrifices to get them back in line, so for their sake, I would hope they'd be voting my way tonight!"
The Campfire Ceremony.
Dramatic music begins to play as the cameras rush through the trees and make their way to the Campfire Ceremony, where Steven, Jonathon, Sarah, Nathalie, Nourhan, Kimi, and Vittoria are all seen sitting on their respective stumps, awaiting the reveal of the vote. Chris walks up the seven remaining bass with a trey of only six marshmallows.
Chris: "Kimi, for my sake and not yours, I'm glad to see your hand has been stitched up nicely!"
Kimi is about to open her mouth when Chris interrupts her.
Chris: "Ah, bu, bu! You've already received an abnormal amount of screen time in an episode that you're not even eliminated in, so pipe shut! The first marshmallow goes to Kimi!"
Chris throws a marshmallow at an angry Kimi.
Chris: "Steven, you are also safe!"
Steven smiles snidely.
Steven: "No shock there, Chris!"
Steven pops the marshmallow into his mouth and glares at Vittoria menacingly. Vittoria simply rolls her eyes and dismisses this.
Chris: "Jonathon, Nathalie, the two of you are also safe!"
Jonathon catches both of their marshmallows. At first Nathalie is annoyed by this but Jonathon graciously gives her the marshmallow and the two smile sweetly.
Chris: "The next marshmallow goes to…"
The music begins to pick up and take on a more dramatic tone. Vittoria is sitting inbetween the two girls, with Nourhan on her left and Sarah on her right.
Chris: "Nourhan!"
Nourhan's face lights up when she receives her marshmallow. Jonathon shakes his head and rolls his eyes at this.
Chris: "The final marshmallow goes to…"
Sarah is smiling happily, and Vittoria is doing so smugly. Both girls are extremely confident that they're not the one going home. Steven is glaring angrily at Vittoria but than looks back up at Chris . From across the way, Nourhan can be seen exchanging a smile with Nathalie who then looks up at Jonathon. As soon as their eyes meet, Jonathon looks away, guilty for lying to her.
Chris: "Vittoria!"
Vittoria smirks before eating her marshmallow and licking the goo off of her fingers in a menacing manner. Sarah's smile fades away and her jaw drops a bit, tears slowly filling her eyes. Nourhan is the most shocked, however, her jaw dropping so low that her cheeks protest in pain. She gasps loudly and looks around at everyone sitting around her, unsure of what just happened.
Nourhan: "What!?"
Everyone avoids eye contact with the girl while a tear stricken Nathalie faces Jonathon.
Nathalie: "What did you do?"
Jonathon stares at the ground to the right in an effort to avoid looking her in the eyes.
Chris: "Sarah, it's time for you to make your way down the dock of shame!"
Sarah gathers her things and burries her face into her stuffed bear. As soon as she gets to the dock, she begins to sob uncontrollably. Nourhan's mouth is still wide open as Sarah boards the boat of losers, and leaves the island.
Chris: "Well campers, there have been a lot of ups and downs thus far, but I don't think any of you have reached a point this low…"
Nourhan shuts her mouth and swallows. She runs her hands through her hair in a stressful manner before shaking her head in disapproval at the events that just took place. Nathalie is wiping tears from her eyes, trying to conceal her emotions. Jonathon sees this and turns to comfort her.
Jonathon: "Nat, I'm sorry."
When Jonathon tries to place his hand on Nathalie's shoulder, she nudges it away.
Nathalie: "Don't!"
Chris: "It looks as though a line has been drawn in the sand and there is a very clear division on this team…Good night campers and I'll see you tomorrow morning for your next challenge!"
Everyone gets up from their seats and begins to make their way back to the camp grounds. Vittoria is visibly angry about the decision to keep Nathalie. Nourhan puts her arm around Nathalie, comforting her for the betrayal of Jonathon. Jonathon looks down sadly as he walks behind the two girls. Steven is in the front of the group, smiling satisfactorily.
Confessional Booth: Steven.
Steven: "What can I say? I always get my way!"
Steven slams his fist into his palm and smiles evilly into the lens.
Outside The Cabins.
The camera pans down from the night sky, that is filled with stars, to reveal Haley and Henry eating an assortment of foods at a candle lit table.
Haley: "Thank you so much, Henry! This was really sweet of you…"
Haley blushes a bit when she says this while Henry simply smiles and nods.
Henry: "Yea, no problem! I figured I had to do something to cheer you up, and what better way to do it than our first date?"
Haley and Henry smile at each other, their lips intertwining.
Henry: "Also, I think I may've found a way to keep us in just a tad bit longer…"
Haley raises her eyebrows curiously and tilts her head to the side.
Haley: "How?"
Henry makes a gesture to the remaining Bass. The camera pans over to reveal Sam, Alex, Josh, and Krystal all making small talk on the porch. The four friends are laughing loudly and having a good time. Hector, however, is sitting across the porch from them. His face is resting on his hands and he is looking at the ground gloomily.
Sam: "Hey, look! They're back!"
The four, smiling friends, all stand up to see who has been eliminated at that night's ceremony. One by one the remaining Bass approach the camp grounds, one by one they are all revealed… One by one Krystal notices none of them are Sarah.
Alex: "Oh no…"
Krystal's smile slowly fades as she becomes more and more nervous, until her worst fears are confirmed…Sarah is no where to be found.
Krystal: "No…No, no, no!"
Josh raises his hand up to put it on Krystal in a comforting manner, but she is long gone before he can do so. The girl begins to run frantically to the opposing team, in one last desperate attempt to find her sister.
Krystal: "SARAH! SARAH, WHERE ARE YOU!"
Steven sees this and comes to a stop. He smiles arrogantly and lets out a snide laugh. When Krystal reaches the bass, she comes to a halt.
Krystal: "Where is she!"
Steven crosses his arms, smiles mockingly, and rolls his eyes.
Steven: "Will you calm down!? They don't get sent off to their execution when they're eliminated!"
Krystal's expression changes from one of sorrow, to one of anger.
Krystal: "Who!? Who voted her off!"
Nourhan is still holding Nathalie when she points at Steven angrily.
Nourhan: "Ask him! Actually, ask all of them! They all seem quite pleased with themselves for pulling one over on us!"
Nourhan and Nathalie walk inside their cabin while Krystal takes a step closer to Steven.
Krystal: "You made a mistake in voting her off tonight!"
Steven: "Why? What's she going to do? Jump ship and swim back!?"
Steven laughs menacingly in her face, which is now inches away from his own. Krystal shakes her head angrily at him.
Krystal: "She doesn't have to…. You may've gotten rid of her, but you still have me to deal with! I'm your flaw in the plan, and I will stop at nothing until you're eliminated!"
Krystal turns around and marches away angrily, rejoining her friends who all run inside the cabin after her to console her. Steven crosses his arms and smiles.
Steven: "Game on…"
Steven smirks before heading inside his cabin, followed by the rest of his team mates.
