Jail breaks are always exciting aren't they? Here is another chapter, sorry for making you wait!
Chapter 10 - Panic
"We are here!" Gumball announced. They pulled the brakes, abandoned the bike and ran towards the door.
But the problem was that there were guards near the gate. "Who are you, mister?" one of the guards asked, wondering why the strange creatures are in such hurry.
"You two look like a fugitive!" the other commented.
"They are with us!" A familiar voice called out from the back.
"Finn and Jake!" the guards identified. Gumball and Darwin turned their heads toward them.
"Thanks, Finn." Darwin said as they walked through the doorway.
"No problem," Finn said, "Now get to the lab; quick! It's at the end of the corridor - on the left" Finn pointed towards the lab.
Gumball and Darwin nodded and ran to the lab, through a corridor with red carpet.
"Here it is!" Gumball panicked at the sign, "Laboratory". The duo bust the door open and walked inside.
That's when the alarm went off.
BEEP BEEP BEEP
"There's someone in my lab!" the worried Princess exclaimed in anxiety.
She pulled her bedroom door open and ran.
Gumball flinched at the sudden noise. "Hurry up, Darwin! They will be here soon!"
Darwin panicked, his fingers fidgeted as he frantically rummaged about, desperately looking for a clock.
BEEP BEEP BEEP INTRUDER-
"Here they are!" Darwin said picking up the clocks and rushing to Gumball.
-DETECTED BEEP BEEP!
"The Princess must have realized that they are inside the building!" Finn exclaimed from the corridor.
"We have to stop her!" Jake said.
The two brothers ran toward the lab...
BEEP BEEP BEEP INTRUDER DETECTED BEEP BEEP BEEP!
By now, the candy people all woke up from the sound of the alarm.
"huh?" "What the fluff is going on?" "I think it's a fire!" "No, mom! it's a zombie apocalypse!" "Someone's in the castle!" "We have an intruder!"
"Gumball! Quick!" Darwin shouted in panic. Gumball was sweating from his forehead as he opened the microwave door. Darwin quickly put all the clocks inside.
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP!
Gumball turned up the oven.
The Princess gasped for breath as she ran down the stairs and down the corridor with the red carpet.
She heard footsteps coming from the other side of the wall. "I'm being followed! I have to get there fast!"
Finn and Jake continued to run. They have to stop PB

"That's it, only a couple of seconds..." Gumball muttered, hugging the microwave.
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
"Come oooon…."
"Hold it right there!" Bubblegum shouted, as she took her gun and pointed it to Gumball and Darwin.
"PRINCESS, NO!" Finn shouted as he ran up from behind and shoved her arm away, disarming her.
"What the - ?"
"Thanks, Finn," Darwin said.
"No Problem," Finn said, smiling and sweating.
"Finn! What's your problem?!" PB looked up with a betrayed expression.
"I can explain!"
The oven heated up - it was about to teleport them back to the past.
"THANK YOU FINN AND JAKE!" Gumball and Darwin said in unison, smiling at their adventurous, heroic friends.
"Goodbye!" Finn, Jake, Gumball and Darwin said in unison before a bright light filled the room, blinding anyone who was in it.
So Gumball and Darwin finally made it...
