Guys, guys I live once more and I bring a much needed to Last Bit of Humanity Darkness Arises or LBHDA for short. The battle against Will and Moniku is still raging and now it's time for what I think is my favorite battle of the story, and hopefully yours too. Also if you read my Vs Stories series then you've seen how the fight goes, the only difference here is that the game rules have changed as each the combatants have something at stake, something worth fighting for
The Kim Possible characters portrayed in this story solely belong to Disney, but their names Midoriichi, Josei, Kimiko, Moniku, Midoriko, Komori, Bo'A, Kuraiichi, Akai, Jodan, Midoriko, and Chisana-ichi I own.
Ch.9 Midoriichi Vs Shego
Head lights belonging to a black SUV pulled up into the yard. Emerald eyes scanned the yard immediately looking in the direction of the front door. The door was wide open and the lights in the house were out, something was wrong. Shego looked over to Tara who sat in the passenger seat. The blonde merely nodded to Shego in response and the exited the vehicle.
The two women slowly entered the house, Shego entered first and Tara covered her from behind. As soon as they stepped foot inside the house several scents filled their nostrils. There were two unfamiliar ones, and then there was the scent of her children Jimmy, Anne and Ashley. The next scent belonged to a familiar foe, Will Du.
Shego quickened her paces into the living room to where she found the smashed coffee table. She began to panic, hoping that she wasn't too late to save her wife and kids. She picked up the smell of blood, and her eyes widened at the realization that it was Kim's blood. Shego rushed forward following the scent of blood to the kitchen. Tara looked around as she searched for signs that the intruders might still be here when Shego darted off.
"Shego!" Tara whispered as the raven haired woman ran off.
As Shego neared the kitchen images of a dying Kim in Will's hands filled her mind and she banished the thought from her mind. Shego stopped in her tracks when she entered the kitchen. In front of her sitting in a chair was Kim who was clutching her right side a bit.
"Kim." Shego said quickly walking over to her.
Kim looked up to see Shego coming her way. "Are you hurt?"
"I'll live, it happened when I fell onto the coffee table." She said.
"Let me see it." Shego said.
Kim moved her hand allowing Shego to raise her shirt a bit. Kim had already dressed and cleaned her injury. Shego eyed Kim who returned her look trying to reassure her that she was ok.
"What happened here?" Tara asked walking in.
"Will Du happened." Kim answered.
"Why did he come here? What did he want?" Shego asked.
"Shego he took the kids."
"What!?"
Kim wrapped herself up in her arms. "I'm sorry Shego I couldn't stop them."
"Them? As in more than one? Who else was with him?" Shego asked.
"I don't know, two women I'd never seen before. Shego there was something very off putting about them. They weren't lycans or vampires. Will said they were demons."
"Demons?" Shego repeated. She remembered reading about them, and according to the ancient text they were wiped out.
"These demons have our children?" Shego asked.
Kim nodded. "The one called Midoriichi. She's the one you'll have to fight."
Shego thought back, the name sounded familiar but now was not the time to dwell on names. Her children were in danger and they needed her.
"Tara stay here with Kim until I get back." Shego said.
"No Shego I want to go too!"
"No Kim, it's too dangerous." Shego told the redhead.
"Their my children too!"
Shego looked at Kim before looking to Tara hoping that she could get Kim to understand. However Tara's look was one that told Shego that she was on her own in this little matter.
Shego sighed. "Fine just stay close to me."
Kim nodded and stood up, the sooner they left the better.
"Don't forget about me."
They turned to see Yori slowly walk in. Tara walked over to her mate. "Yori, you're hurt." She told her.
"I can still fight. Besides I owe Will for last time." She said.
Now it was Tara's turn to get upset. Will had definitely crossed the wrong Lycan. Tara turned to Shego her blue and green eyes looking into Shego's green eyes.
"When do we leave?" Tara asked her.

Middleton, New York
Soldiers ran back out of the thick smoke as they retreated. A few soldiers turned and fired into the rising columns of smoke that rose from the combined wreckage of buildings and vehicles. The four soldiers emptied their clips and quickly went to reload their weapons. However before they could finish reloading four bladed feathers shot forth from the smoke and killed three of the soldiers as the feathers embedded themselves in the soldiers skulls.
The one surviving soldier watched as a woman walked out of the thick smoke. The blood of soldiers and demons alike was splattered over her feathers and body. Her hand gripped a green spear of energy as she stood over the man. Clutching his wounded shoulder he tried to back away but she pinned him to the ground with her foot.
He stared into her eyes as he looked her over. The right side of her face was covered in blood and her expression showed no sign of pity or remorse as she listened to the man's whimpering. She raised the spear in her hand up slowly, not taking her eyes of him. However Midoriichi noticed a locket the soldier was wearing around his neck. The locket was gold in color and shaped like a heart, and Midoriichi found some interest in it, curious to what it was. She reached and grabbed it and inspected the odd trinket, while looking it over she accidentally opened it. Inside was a picture of the soldier. In the picture was his wife and two sons.
"That's my wife and kids. I have two boys, one six and the other is four." He said catching the Tori demons attention. "I'm begging you to not take their father away from them." He pleaded with her.
She looked the man in his eyes once more. "I warned you all of the consequences that would come from attacking me, and you all chose not to heed those words." She said slamming the spear down next to the man's head. "However, I too am a parent" She said as she walked past the man, dropping his locket on the ground next to him.
He sat up and watched as Midoriichi continued on her path, but not before issuing her final warning.
"Tell your soldiers that I will not attack them if they steer clear of my path. Or else a whole lot of children will be growing up without their fathers."
The man grabbed his pendant and quickly picked himself up and ran off. Not long afterward as Midoriichi was walking down the block Komori reappeared landing on a light post.
"That's a good look for you Midoriichi." Komori said as she looked down onto the Tori demon.
"Where are my children!?" Midoriichi roared.
Komori shrugged. "I honestly don't know. You would have to ask the person in charge. Instead you've just been pointlessly chasing me around." The bat demon said.
Angered Midoriichi jumped up after her. However Komori evaded her by dodging to the side. Wings grew from Midoriichi's back as she springboarded off from the wall of a building and grabbed ahold of Komori, surprising her with her sudden burst of speed. They tumbled down some stairs and into a subway.
Komori kicked Midoriichi off of her as she too sprouted wings and took flight down the tunnel. Giving chase Midoriichi planned to end Komori's miserable existence. She ignited her demonic aura to brighten the dark tunnel. When she did Komori was nowhere in sight. Midoriichi growled she knew when it comes to flight that Komori was superior, plus the darkness was Komori's ally so she needed to be careful.
Midoriichi quickly saw light at the end of the tunnel. She landed to find that it led back out into the city. She looked around and saw no sight of Komori, just fire and smoke from her rampage. She could easily hear the sound of another battle raging a few blocks down, Midoriichi guessed that the soldiers were still trying to reign in Josei. A smirk went across her face at thought, she was confident in the Neko demon's abilities after all her clan used to war with Josei's.
Suddenly she picked up on Komori's demonic aura and turned to see the bat demon emerge from the darkness of the tunnel. Caught off guard, Komori grabbed Midoriichi catching her in a vice grip.
"What's the matter Midoriichi you look like a deer caught in the headlights?" She laughed.
Midoriichi struggled in the bat demons grasp, but Komori was unrelenting. She inhaled the scent of blood that stained Midoriichi's body. The blood of over one hundred soldiers was intoxicating to the bat demon.
She licked her lips after taking in the scent once more. "Dinner is served." Komori said as she prepared to sink her teeth into Midoriichi's neck.
Fortunately the Tori Leader had a trick up her sleeve. Using her bladed feather technique she was able to remove Komori by shooting her shoulders. Komori quickly took to the sky and evaded the bladed feathers that were shot at her. Midoriichi needed to find her children and fast, her patience growing ever thinner as her infuriation of losing them grew.
She was taken from her thoughts when she heard a loud noise coming from within the tunnel. Turning she saw bright lights quickly speeding towards her.
"What manner of beast is this?" She said as she turned to face it.
The sound grew louder as did the brightness of the lights. Komori watched from above as a subway train sped towards her foe. She was eager to see what would happen since the train had caught Midoriichi off guard and was moving too fast for her to fly away and avoid it. Her hands still charged with demonic energy, Midoriichi swung her left arm down vertically that released a thin blade like energy attack. The attack cut the train in half as it sped by, the two halves speeding past the Tori demon and derailing off to the sides.
Midoriichi surveyed the wreckage to find that innocent civilians were inside the thing she assumed to be a foreign creature. However she deemed the lives of her children more important. With that in mind she turned to face Komori.

Shego sped down the streets of New York swerving around the abandoned vehicles following the destruction to the heart of downtown. She alongside Kim, Tara and Yori listened to the radio as a reporter fed them information. What the man was describing seemed too good to be true, it sounded like these creatures were from a science fiction movie.
"You guys seen them, do they really look like what they're describing?" Shego asked.
"Like I said they look otherworldly." Kim answered.
Shego huffed, but it didn't matter she had to save her kids. Will was going to learn a harsh lesson tonight. Shego quickly slammed on the brakes. Looking ahead she found a blockade of cars blocking her path.
"This is where we get out." Shego told them.
They exited the SUV and began moving forward. Shego stuck close to Kim and Tara to Yori, both making sure their mates were ok. They looked up when they caught three unfamiliar scents coming their way.
"Look there." Tara said making them look up.
They watched as two beings fought in the sky, one with blonde hair and the other with black. They watched as the blonde woman was repeatedly slammed into a building by the raven haired woman, only for the blonde to retaliate and throw her foe towards the ground. However they watched as the third presence made itself known. A tanned skinned woman dressed in tiger skin clothing broke through the glass of the nearby building catching the blonde off guard, grabbing her and they crashed onto a car down below making its alarm blare.
Josei had Komori pinned as Midoriichi walked over.
"Last chance to talk." Midoriichi said.
"She's being nice." Josei added in. "I wouldn't be." The Neko Leader said as she tightened her grip around Komori's throat.
Komori merely smiled. "It appears we have company." The bat demon chuckled.
Midoriichi and Josei looked over in the direction the bat demon had indicated to see four people walk up. All were women, three of which Midoriichi didn't recognize. However the pale skinned one she did.
"You!" Midoriichi growled as she walked over towards Shego.
Shego stopped her advance as she watched the bird demon close the distance. She looked familiar to her somehow, and it didn't take Shego long to recall her showdown with Bonnie some years ago.
"Tori?" She said calling Midoriichi by the name of the bird that had saved her life.
"That's Midoriichi Tori to you human." The demon said her eyes staring coldly with Shego.
"What are you doing here?" Shego asked her.
"Do not play me for a fool, you know why I am here." The demon growled.
"No I don't. You're supposed to be dead. How can you be here? I've read in texts that you died wiped out in the purge." Shego told the demon.
"Enough of your lies! Hand over my children or die." Midoriichi told her as she once again formed a spear out of her demonic energy.
Shego was now confused. Why was she here? How did she get here? And why doesn't she remember her at all?
"Shego that's her." Kim said walking up. "She was with Will when they took the kids."
"What?" Shego said looking back towards Midoriichi.
"I did no such thing."
"I saw you take them." Kim said as she glared at the demon.
Using the confrontation as a scapegoat Komori kicked Josei in her gut removing her from on top. She jumped up quickly and took to the skies flying off into the distance immediately being followed by what remained of her soldiers that followed.
"Look out!" Kim shouted.
Shego turned to block just in time as Midoriichi came at her with the spear. Shego gripped it and pushed Midoriichi back. Flapping her wings she floated back down and readied herself for her next attack.
Shego flared her hands letting her green plasma dance around her hands. Midoriichi was now surprised. The energy flowing from Shego's hands looked almost like her own. Responding in kind Midoriichi ignited her hands with her green demonic aura.
Surprised at first Shego simply smirked as her next reaction. "Now you're just copying me, but can you do this?" Shego asked.
Her green eyes changed to amber as her nails grew longer and her canines sharpened and grew into fangs. Surprised at the changes Shego underwent Midoriichi smirked in return, she was going to enjoy making this human talk. Shego rushed forward wanting to keep her opponent on the defensive.
Midoriichi dodged her swipes avoiding her sharp claws and tried counter attacking with the spear, but Shego dodged the attack. Midoriichi jumped back and Shego gave chase this time throwing balls of plasma at the demon.
Tara moved to assist but she was quickly intercepted by Josei. Josei was swift in her attack and knocked Tara back, and gave chase to continue the fight.
"We can't stand around and do nothing." Yori said as she moved to aid her mate.
However she was stopped by a single arrow that landed in front of her foot. Yori gazed at it, never seeing an arrow emit such a white hazy glow. Much to her surprise the arrow quickly detonated knocking her back.
"Yori are you ok?" She asked.
"I'm afraid you are not going anywhere." A voice said.
Kim turned to see two women facing them, both were wielding bows. However the red head was wielding a bow that seemed to be made of pure light, while the other had a sword strapped to her waist.
Midoriichi looked down to see that Kimiko and Jodan had arrived. She shifted her attention back to Shego as she dodged her attack.
Kimiko kept her eyes on the two women before her and nodded to Jodan who moved around Kim and Yori keeping her bow aimed at the vampire. "Now you're going to tell us everything you know." The priestess said.
With Kimiko and Jodan on the scene Midoriichi could now fight without having to watch her back. Getting some distance between Shego and herself she grabbed a car and picked it up. Midoriichi tossed it at Shego who responded by shooting plasma at it creating a big explosion. Midoriichi shot through the smoke hoping to surprise Shego but the lycan was ready. She caught Midoriichi's fist and she swung her around.
Releasing her Shego threw her into the air and jumped up to attack, but Midoriichi blocked her punch. They landed back on the ground and stared each other down. Midoriichi noted that her opponent had quite the battle experience.
'Getting her to talk will be harder than I expected.' Midoriichi thought.
Deciding to get serious she flared her demonic aura, covering her body in a green glow. Shego watched in amazement at the power the demon was displaying. However now was not the time to be impressed, she needed answers and if Midoriichi had them, then that's how Shego would get them.
Charging forward she darted in between the demonic energy blasts Midoriichi shot at her. Midoriichi moved to defend but Shego was faster and grabbed the Tori demon and slammed her into the passenger side of a nearby car. She grabbed Midoriichi by her head and bashed it against the car. Midoriichi grabbed her wrist tightly and threw Shego to the side.
"You're really starting to piss me off." Midoriichi growled.
"Think do you honestly not remember me? Do you not remember what you did for me?" She asked Midoriichi.
"I remember you. I could never forget the face of the person who took my children." She answered.
"I took your children, according to Kim you took our kids."
"You're just delaying the inevitable."
Midoriichi charged and Shego sides stepped and kicked Midoriichi knocking her back. She ran up and barraged Midoriichi with a flurry of punches. She cocked her right arm back and delivered a powerful haymaker to Midoriichi's face. The demon flew back and crashed the door to a barber shop.
Shego smirked as she charged her hands with plasma. She threw a barrage of plasma bolts into the barber shop setting off a chain of explosions. Shego's smirk faded when she heard laughter. She watched as Midoriichi walked out, her green feathers a bit ruffled and scorched from Shego's attacks.
"I must say I like your style. We have a word for beings like you. Kuzuri you're ferocious in your attacks, like a beast you fear nothing. Not even those superior to you." Midoriichi told her.
"I don't know if you've heard but I have no superiors and I fear no one." Shego said with a sly grin.
"No, not yet." Midoriichi answered.

Betty and Barkin watched as the city was besieged by an unknown threat. They saw the military engage and be killed by this new foe. They quickly exchanged glances before looking back towards the monitor. They watched as the camera feed died and another came alive seconds later, this one depicting two people fighting ferociously. Barkin and Betty recognized her, it was Shego, but who was she fighting?
The woman was unlike anything they've seen before, her appearance and abilities were different from what they were used too. They watched as Shego and the woman exchanged blows, watching as they tried to one up the other. They were at a stalemate, they were equals unable to topple the other.
However Betty could tell that there was a lot more going on with this battle. She could somehow tell that they were fighting for something else more than just their own survival. However Betty was taken from her thoughts as Barkin's phone started to ring.
He gestured that he would return shortly and quickly stepped out of the room.
"Report." He said.
"I have confirmed sightings on Will Du." Felix said as he reported in. "He's with two women of unknown origin."
Barkin rubbed his chin as he gathered his thoughts. "Any chance they are related to tonight's current event?" he asked.
"Only one way to find out sir. Permission to tail Will?" Felix asked.
"Permission granted, but proceed with caution."
"That's my middle name." Felix said before hanging up.
Barkin returned to see that Shego was still fighting, this time she was being beaten back by her opponent.
"Got a contingency plan?" He asked her.
Betty smiled. "Don't I always." She replied.

Shego stumbled back needing to get some distance between her and the demon. "Your every bit as strong as I've heard." She said panting.
Midoriichi was panting heavily, she exerted a lot of energy chasing after Komori and this battle against Shego was doing her any good either. She needed to end the fight and get her children back.
Shego looked up to see it was a full moon. Smiling she looked back to Midoriichi. "I've got a real treat for you."
Midoriichi craned her eyebrow wondering what the raven haired woman was talking about. Her answer came in the form of deep growls. She watched Shego get on all fours as her body emitted a strange energy. Midoriichi somehow recognized the foreign energy. Shego then reared up letting out a loud howl. She ripped away at her clothing as her muscles bulged splitting her skin. However instead of blood, patches of black fur appeared. Shego's hands grew twice their size as her nails turned into claws. Her teeth were replaced with razor sharp teeth. With a mighty roar Shego liberated her true lycan form.
Midoriichi took several steps back as she stared wide eyed. "Ittai nani. (What the fuck)" She observed Shego's new form. "A wolf demon? No, not quite. What the hell are you?"
Shego pushed a mini-van out of her way as she advanced on Midoriichi. She could sense that Midoriichi was about to make a move and she moved first. Surprising Midoriichi with her speed she grabbed the demon and crashed through a wall. She carried Midoriichi through the building and out of the other wall as she crashed through another.
She broke through a total of three buildings before tossing Midoriichi into an abandoned tanker truck. Igniting her hands Shego shot a beam of plasma at the tanker truck created a big explosion. She shielded herself from the explosion as it engulfed more cars on the street. Shego opened her eyes and surveyed the carnage as burning cars littered the streets. She sniffed the air trying to catch the scent of Midoriichi.
Shego let out a low growl when she was able to pick up on the scent of the Tori leader amongst the smoke. Midoriichi walked out of the wreckage pushing a burning car out of her way. Her expression was less than pleased.
"You are truly something Kuzuri. A worthy opponent. Perhaps I'll let you live after you reveal where you've taken my children."
Shego roared as she charged Midoriichi, swinging her massive plasma claws at Midoriichi. Midoriichi ducked under one of Shego's swings and rose quickly with an uppercut. The impact sent the lycan skyward and Midoriichi followed by jumping up and hitting Shego with a double hammerfist to the gut knocking her back to the ground.
Wings sprouted from her back as she dived down after the lycan. Shego rolled out of the way as Midoriichi slammed into the pavement with her fist. Shego went on the defensive as Midoriichi went on the attack. Midoriichi got in a few good hits, only for Shego to block the last hit. Swing her left hand around she hit Midoriichi in her side, sending her flying.
Midoriichi rolled across the pavement coming to a stop next to a news van. She looked up to see Shego coming after her. Midoriichi got up and dodged Shego's jab which punctured the van behind her. Bringing her leg up she kicked Shego in the jaw and performed a backflip over the van. She kicked it causing the van to topple over and fall on Shego.
Midoriichi ignited her hands with her demonic aura and aimed it at Shego. "Talk." She told the lycan.
Shego responded by throwing the van at Midoriichi, who cut it in half with demonic energy. Acting quickly Shego rushed the demon, punching Midoriichi in the face. Shego grabbed her by her head, her massive clawed hand encasing her skull. She turned and toss Midoriichi sending her down the block. Shego watched her tumble down the pavement and then pursued her.
Groaning Midoriichi shook her head, trying to rid of herself of the headache she now possessed. She spread wings as she could hear Shego stomping down the street. She waited for the lycan to get close enough before she flapped her wings going skyward.
Infused with power she released a barrage of green demonic energy orbs that detonated upon touching either the pavement or a vehicle. The attack set off a chain of explosions sending debris in every direction. Midoriichi smiled as she landed a few feet away from the raging fire.
"Let's see how you like being on fire." Midoriichi mumbled.
However her good mood was ruined when Shego emerged from the flames. Her black fur glistening in the light of the fire.
"Kuzuri." Midoriichi growled.
Shego flared her claws with her plasma and entered a low crouch. Midoriichi did the same. As far as they were both concerned this fight had come to an end. With the last amount of strength they could muster they charged in leaving a green trail of energy as they did so.
They clashed, their hands clasping the others. Midoriichi tried to overpower Shego and vice versa as the power struggle took place. Sparks emerged from the interaction from their powers that didn't go unnoticed by either combatant, but they dismissed the small discharges.
"Is that all you got?" Midoriichi said teasing her, hoping to coax Shego into slipping up.
Shego began to push Midoriichi back as she gained the upper hand. Midoriichi flared her demonic aura exhausting the reserves she had to increase the output of power. This time she was pushing Shego back as more sparks shot out from the struggle. Exhausting what remaining power she had as well Shego brought the power struggle to a standstill.
Suddenly a high pitched humming sound caught their attention. It was followed by the display of green electric discharge that shot out from their hands. Both watched as the humming grew louder and a light started to shine from their clasped hands. That's when they realized that the interaction of their powers were having some type of adverse reaction.
However they realized this too late and when they unclasped their hands to retreat the bomb their combined powers made immediately detonated. A powerful eruption followed decimating everything in a four block radius as a giant green mushroom cloud loomed from the impact point.
Wow what a battle huh guys? And that ending, tell me what do you think happened to our two warriors? I hoped you guys enjoyed this chapter as it is one that Raptorhunter18 and myself have been looking forward to for a while.
