Chapter 10: So Alike
Mimi pov: Mum and dad were annoyed with me anyway, and to be honest i didn't want to be around them at that point, so i decided to go for a walk, well i say a walk when i actually mean pay a visit back into the house, no one was home so i could go anywhere, plus it was night so it was unlikely for me to get busted by anyone, i jumped from one tree to another and headed towards the laundry pipe from where i came in and out last time.
'too easy' i said to myself and opened up the laundry door and jumped down into the house, if only i were a human i could reach anything, being here was really relaxing and helped me think when i was alone, as much as i like it here, i wish i had someone to talk to in here, someone who won't freak because i'm here, as i was alone i hadn't realised someone had followed me all the way here.
Harry pov: I had followed this stranger all the way over to the house, i followed her through the pipe that made me end up in the laundry machine. I jumped out got a look at the girl, her back was turned to me saw i poked her back gently as she jumped and went into a kung fu stand, when she saw it was me, she stopped
'You Scared Me!' she said
'sorry' i apologised
'what are you doing here?' she asked
'i followed you' i smiled
'really why?'
'oh uhh...i saw you running here and being the curious guy i am i followed you and here i am'
'well...i suppose your gonna tell on me now right?' she frowned
'why would i do that?' i asked
'because i'm not supposed to be here'
'neither am i, but your not gonna tell on me right?' i asked, as a smile grew on her face
'no, i guess not' she smiled
'good, i guess we're even then' as we shook on it
'so you live here huh?' she asked looking around
'Ye, it looks better when your not a foot...and a half' i laughed as she did
'iv'e always wondered what it be like to be a human' she said
'really?' i asked
'well sure! you get to go anywhere you want, when you want, where as me, i'm stuck in a garden' she sighed, i felt bad for her, i had no idea she had so much curiosity in her
'You know...being a human isn't all fun and games, you have to pay bills, work, responsibilities and life! if i were you i'd be happy being a gnome, you could easily have fun any time you want' i said
'not if you had a father like mine' she said
'is he bad?' i asked
'Don't get me wrong, i love my dad heart and sole, but sometimes i worry if he's ever going to except i'm not his little girl anymore' she said
'don't you have a brother or sister?' i asked
'no, my parents could only have one baby'
'mine too!' i smiled
'what about your dad?' she asked
'what about him?' i asked
'is he like one of those fathers that are so overprotective?' she giggled, but i frowned
'my father...is probably one of the devil's worst creations known to existence!'
'what do you mean?'
'my father hates me and has since the day i was born! i don't know why but the only way i amuse him is that i'm his punch bag day after day, night after night, i don't know what i did to make him hate me so much but it's really made cringe of he plans on doing to me next' i said almost crying
'was he the guy beating you up the other night?' she asked
'no, just a friend of his, payed to kill me' i said
'that's horrible' she said putting an arm around me, i had to admit it was nice to have her so close to me like that, she was so adoreble
'I guess you've been through a lot' she said rubbing my shoulders
'yeah'
'what about your mum?' she asked, that's when a tear fell from my eye as i looked at her 'oh' she said sadly and held me in a tight embrace, i never had on of these when my mother died and it was comforting to have one now, she held he tighter as i held her, Mimi wasn't like the other girls i met, she was totally different! And i loved that about her! she let go of me and put her hand on my cheek to wipe the tear
'your gonna be ok' she smiled
'thanks, i needed that' i smiled
'listen i know what might cheer you up' she smiled and dragged me through the house, up the satires (which took a while since we're gnomes) out a window and climbed onto the roof and looked up into the stary sky.
'Woah!' i gasped
'I know right?' she smiled as we stared into the night
'it's amazing up here'
'have you seen anything more beautiful?' she asked as i looked into her deep blue eyes
'maybe...one thing' i said slowly, she smiled at me and grabbed my hand, i was bit scared at first but at the same time, i loved being around her. Does love at first sight really exist? if it does..I have fallen for this girl! we spent the next hour just talking and staring into the beautiful night. It was amazing how much she was like me! she loved adventure and has always wanted to travel, plus she was considered very stealthy by everyone, just like i was with my friends and family.
'Do you think my mother's watching me?' i asked
'yeah, and she's probably saying to all the angels what an amazing son she's got' she giggled as i smiled, Mimi was so cute and sweet when she laughed, i loved everything about her!
'Do you think i'll ever get the chance to see the world?' she asked
'Of course! if i get turned back into a human i'll take you anywhere' i smiled
'Really?'
'sure, i'll take you to, France, Egypt, Italy and anywhere in this world!'
'i'd love that!'
'Wow! it looks like we have a lot in common' i smiled
'yeah i guess we do, Iv'e never met anyone like me'
'neither have i' i smiled
'if only you could take me to see other places' she sighed, i lifted her chin and put a piece of hair behind her ear
'I'd show you the world' i smiled as we started hearing a melody in our heads

I looked into her eyes again and i could feel us moving our lips closer to one another, the next thing i knew we had both shared our first kiss! It was like i was kissing an angel! she put her arms around my neck as i put mine around her waist, what better place to have your first kiss on a roof of a house under the stars? as we parted we stared into each other's eyes and rested together, She fell asleep before and she shivered a little, i took off my jacked and put it over her as she smiled in her sleep, i kissed her cheek slightly, i began feeling a bit cold but i didn't mind.
The cold never bothered me anyway.
Now, Take a guess where that last line is from? i only put it there because...ITS MY BIRTHDAY (HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! 17 TODAY!) AND MY BROTHER BOUGHT ME THE FROZEN DVD!
