Chapter 10: Max's Past

Max's POV

Well, if you were asking how those mind wipes went, it was horrible. People rushing over me to get a fucking picture, I'd have to delete the photos of course, even though I looked surprisingly scary. I did all the mind wipes, counting 17 mind wipes, 30 photos erased from just one dude. And the rest only had 1.

It was a disaster, I had to knock out every single mortal inside the lunch room without getting caught.

After I had done them mind wipes, the little Walker's came in.

"Umm Max..? What did you do?" Asked Angel

"Mind wipes, Alexis prank was to zap my with lightning and she had to guts to prank me in public with a bunch of mortals" I spat out; I made a face when I said "mortals".

"Umm, you do know that there are cameras inside the lunch room...Right?" Iggy said

I looked up on the ceiling, and sure enough, there was a little camera. Oh crap I thought

"Does it record any sounds?" I asked, keeping my mouth slight open, thinking there might be mouth readers.

"Umm, no they only record what the school is going on through the day, there aren't any security people who watches the cameras. They tape is, then watch it." Fang said

"Well, I asked for a yes or no answer but I like yours better" I said

Gazzy groaned "You're going to erase the camera footage aren't you?" Gazzy said knowingly.

"Yep, unless you guys want to help me" I said

"No thank you, I don't want to go to jail for security erasing footaging" Angel and Fang said in unison

"No worries Ange! She's immortal and she has powers, as much as I dislike her. I love her mischievous action" Gazzy said rubbing his hands together.

"Eh…I'm with Gazzy and Maxy!" Iggy said

"Call me Maxy one more time and you'll wake up without balls" I said

With that threat I sent Iggy and Gazzy three steps away from me, real big boy steps.

"Good, choice" I said

Fang's POV

Ugh, stupid Max if she trying to get my family in jail? I thought, but quickly erased the thought to myself before Max could "hear" it.

Too late I heard it Max said in my head.

Will you stop reading my freaking mind? I said to my head

"Nawh, it's always fun to listen to what you're thinking" Max said

"Get out of my freaking head!" I said out loud, which you would probably think its okay, but I was in my history class.

"Mr. Walker! You will get detention this instant!" Mr. Bruce yelled out to the class, which earned a couple of giggles, and snickers. Yeah, I wasn't that popular in high school, but a lot of girls liked to flirt with me. But I started getting me rep up, when I and Max and my family walked through the big double doors with "Maximum Martinez Ride". Everyone was telling me "Damn you got guts boy" or "Did she sleep with your family to get you guys to walk with her?"And the worst comment was "Are you guys handled hostage by her? I could tell me dad, he's a police officer." I wanted to yell at that kid to run to his dad, but considering Max is immortal and has powers, she'll kill me for sure.

Just then Max went inside the class room. "Ms. Martinez, you're not even in this class" Mr. Bruce snapped.

"Oh, I know but Mr. Walker over there has a note from his parents, that he needs to pack his things and leave school, there going on an early vacation" Max explained, I knew it wouldn't work because Mr. Bruce hates and declines every excuse note. But surprisingly he said yes.

Max winked at me, looking at her brown orbs seemed to melt me away. Win some lose some Max said to my head, causing me to have a flashback, and a horrible headache.

What the heck? I thought

What? You okay Fang? Max said to my head in a very motherly concerned voice.

Yeah, I'm fine, just a minor headache, it will pass soon I thought to her.

Liar, stop lying Fang, I know when you lie, when we are done getting you out of school, let's see if Bianca can heal your headache Max said still though a concerned voice.

Kay, but it's getting really worse I thought to her, rubbing my head

Don't worry Fang, let me get you outta here first Max said through a soothing voice, with a lot of concern.

I just nodded, as Mr. Bruce said "Alright, but he still has detention tomorrow"

I just groaned, the headache was getting worse.

When we finally got outside, Max led me to a clearing outside the school's view.

"Why are we here?" I said, and groaned, my headache was getting worse.

"Stop whining" Max said

As Max and I walked to the center of the clearing, Max spread out her glorious wings.

"Whoa , you have wings?" I asked

"Yeah, I had it when I was born, even when I was reborn, the wings would never come off" Max said sadly, "You know I have flashbacks, I always thought I had a different past."

"Can you tell me your past? I never really got to hear it, only if you want to though. I don't want to invade your space" I said

"No, it's okay. Did you know Fang, and don't laugh at me for saying this but when I saw you I knew I could trust you with my life, and I always had dreams of weird dog wolf people, and I had dreams about all of you. Angel, Nudge, Iggy and Gazzy. But most of them were about you, one dream was I kissed you in some beach while you were all banged up" Max replied

"Me, and you? Kiss? Never gonna happen" I said, though I had a little bit of doubt, Max was beautiful, I remember a smile a big warm smile, except I thought it was my mother's smile.

"Yeah, I know." Max said sadly "Hey…Can I tell you my past? I really never told anybody, and I felt like I could trust you, but don't tell anybody or I'll-" I cut her off

"Yeah I know, I'm gonna wake up with no balls" I said

"Sit" Max said, I did as I was told

"Well, you can say I had the most horrible past. My mom, never abused me, but she didn't care about me. Every time I would trip and fall when I was a little girl, she left me in the dust and just kept walking. I always had a smile on my face, or else she would just yell at me for no reason. I never hated my mom but she acted like I wasn't her daughter. One day she called me trash. Then my lucky day as people say it, I met a boy. He would take me to places on my bike to have a place to stay or food. But I know your wondering, why didn't I use my powers? Well, that's because I was born an angel, you see there are different types of immortals, some are born warriors, some are born queens, some are born just immortals with powers, but I was born an angel. Angel's are the most lowest rank anyone can get, angel's fight mortal's diseases because they are very sensitive. I kept having dreams in my past life, my mom never cared. I would scream, cry, shout, and wail at night and she would only tell me to shut up or go to sleep. Then when my step father went to come get me, all of the sudden she wanted me. When we went to the beach to say our final goodbyes, I wanted to die. She cried when I was dying, she wailed that "It's just the beginning! We need to start over Rosetta! I need to take the 16 years back! I need you" after she said that, I died" Max explained softly and sadly

"I'm so sorry Max" I said, hugging her. Max cried on my chest. I hated her crying, she doesn't deserve that kind of crap. Max just sobbed in my chest. I kissed her forehead .

Damn I didn't know that Max can cry a river and sleep. Well at least the headache is gone I thought.

I only knew only one way to carry Max to the house. Fly I thought. I spread my raven black wings and held Max bridle style, and we both lifted of the ground, I flew to the mansion. But I took the long way, and slowed down.

Max looks so peaceful I thought, a single tear ran down her cheek, and I wiped it away

"Max, I never thought I would say this, but I love you" I spoke to her

DONE! FINALLY! Sorry for making Max's past harsh and horrible, but at least you got to see the Fax scene I put out there (wink wink) By the way their will be more Fax scenes later in the story! sorry for making this so long!
