Extra chapter, 2 days after meeting the gems. A day after the next chapter after that.(lel, chapter 6)

Zenith shouted while charging at a small creature with only his bare hands. Said creature had a gem embedded on its' back. It was a small creature of unknown origins, a small multi-legged worm-like creature with several spikes that run along its' back.

Zenith got a hold of it and started punching its' face repeatedly until it explodes because of Zenith's energy charged hand, leaving only a green gem, he grabbed it and smiled at it.

"Not so tough now are you?" He taunted.

"Good job but." Pearl chimed in.

Zenith turned around and saw the gems struggling against more of them. He chuckled and run towards them, shouting. He pounced at one of them and started smashing through the swarms of monsters. He kicked, punched and slammed his body on the monsters. He then started to charge his legs and stomped on the monsters as he run along their backs. When he stopped, all that was left in his tracks were green gems piled over each other.

The gems looked at him and Amethyst grunted in frustration at how he could do that where as they couldn't. She then left the scene to get some rest in the temple. Pearl looked at her sighed but went on to the gems and picked it up and, put in some kind of a bubble and sent it away.

"Oh yeah, what was that?" Zenith asked as he walked back to them.

"Oh that? I was bubbling it away." She told him.

Zenith nodded and touched her forehead, causing it to glow.

"What did you do?" She asked while touching her forehead.

"I copied your powers, but since we're not in the same cosmos, it's in my Universe's way of doing it." He explained.

He then picked up a gem while Pearl watched him and instead of putting it inside a bubble, he covered it in a red orb with a wavy aura and sent it away, although pearl was impressed, she was confused.

"Where did you sent it?" She asked.

Zenith, who was grinning as he looked at her and slowly starting to lose it, "What?".

"Where did you send the gem?" She asked again.

"Where was I suppose to send it?"

"In the heart of the te-" She paused and looked at Zenith and slapped her forehead, "Oh yeah, I guess I can't blame you for sending it somewhere unknown, I mean, you haven't seen the inside yet right?"

He nodded and jumped up to the top of the hill. He dropped himself in a curled up position and landed on his bottom.

"Ow."

"Well, now that you got the gem, let's head inside shall we?" Pearl said and Zenith nodded.

Pearl led Zenith to a circular pad, in front of it was a door with 5 different gems of different colors. She walked to the door and activated it with her gem. A blue light runs down on it and splits when it reached the circle with multiple gems. When it finally reached down, it opened, revealing a room.

Zenith stared in amazement, his eyes were visibly sparkling and stopped being in such state. He was confused though, what is this room?

"Excuse me but, what is this room?" He asked, in a way he was never seen before, nicely.

"Oh this, this is my room of course!" She told him.

"It's beautiful!" He said, causing Pearl to blush. Then he realized something, "But why did you bring me here" First?" He asked, causing Pearl to blush even more.

She then faked a cough and turned to him, "Well, since I'm your guide to this place, I thought I'd show you my room first." She explained with an awkward grin.

Zenith noticed another thing and touched her cheek, the act triggered an impulse in Pearl's mind, causing her to slap him. He flinched a little and touched his cheek, saying only "Ow.".

"Oh no! I'm sorry! I didn't mean for it to happen!" She immediately apologized, which surprised him to the point of speechlessness, understandable since she was apologizing too much and is breathing uncontrollably.

"It's alright." He comforted her. She stopped and controlled her breathing. She looked at Zenith, who was still surprised.

"what?" She asked.

"Nothing."

"Let's continue then?"

"Alright."

They both walked towards the nearest point of interest, according to Zenith of course. A lake with multiple fountains in the middle. He looked up and saw a stage like place with a white bed on it(My assumption). Curious, he started waling towards it but Pearl tried to stop him.

He only turned around, looking at her with an expressionless face and slowly walking backwards and upwards? The event was weird for Pearl. She was looking at a human, with powers, other supernatural abilities. She learned to accept all the others but, this one? Never something this weird for humans. Even, after hearing an explanation about his abilities from him, this was weird.

Zenith reached he bed while still looking at her. Pearl let it pass and jumped up to him. She landed next to him and touched her bed.

Pearl sighed and spoke to him, "We gems don't really need sleep but." She stopped.

"But it feels refreshing no?" Zenith added, which Pearl nodded to.

"Come on, let's bring you to the heart of the temple." She said, Zenith saluted and accidentally walked off the stage-like place and quietly curses himself. Next thing that happened is a painful splash. His body had landed first.

{About 3 minutes later}

"Hey wake up!"

Zenith opened his eyes to see himself face to face with the purple one. He rolled away and looked around. Amethyst crossed her arms and called out to him.

"Is that what you're looking for?" She pointed towards a gem contained inside a red orb, "I was fiddling with it and nothing happened, know anything about that?"

"Uh, yes! I contained it within that orb and I'm going to send it to the heart of the temple!" He said, "You know where it is?"

"Yeah, there's a route over there but we usually bubble it away, why are you still holding it anyway?" Amethyst pointed at the orb.

"Because I didn't know where the heart is."

Zenith started walking towards the route until Pearl came in running towards him and stopped him.

"Stop!" She said.

"What?"

"I forgot to tell you that only Garnet can go in there!" She said while pointing at the tunnel.

"Oh, well then. You can bubble it then." He handed the orb to Pearl.

"But, I thought." Zenith interrupted her by touching the orb, letting Pearl's energy take over it.

"Oh. Well this is new." She stated.

"No, I realized that I am capable of copying the energy style of one world and make it into my own AND by letting the small copied particles spark the people of that world's powers." He explained.

Pearl was once again amazed and proceeded bubbling it away.

"Well, now that we've got that one covered, let's." Pearl paused for a moment and turned to the field where they fought the little critters.

Pearl groaned after remembering about the other gems. She sighed at just the thought of how much is left.

Zenith put his hand on her shoulder, "Don't worry, I'll help you."
