Sorry about the late update, some ~crazy~ shit has been going on, anyways, this chapter will introduce a few new characters who will be very important to the story3
Riza had been greatly enjoying his time with K, they must have been talking for at least a few hours, and it seemed as though K enjoyed it too. "hey Riz?" asked K stopping in front of Riza, his smile dazzling and arms behind his back "y-yes?" Riza replied, a little curious. "do you want to spar?" Riza was thrown off by this, had he made K angry or upset? "Not a real fight, its just that you seem super strong and I kinda want to see how I compare." He said with a smile. "w-well I suppose that would be fine." K smiled and jumped back a few feet, pushing himself with a beat of his wings "Awesome! Ill give you a minute to prepare" oh no, I hope i'm not too weak for himthought Riza. Riza took a deep breath and reached his hand down towards the earth, calling his sword. K cocked his head, a little confused.
It only took a minute before his sword came flying out of the ground, shocking K, and throwing bits of earth everywear. As Riza gripped it with his two hands Ice blue flowers with dark spots flowered over the handle Black spots? wha- Riza thoughts were interrupted as he heard a Loud pop and a gust of extreme wind blew him back a quarter of an inch. He looked up to see K smirking, he had pulled two huge axes out of nowhere, handling them as if they were light as styrofoam. One was Dark as the void of space, and seemed to swallow all light around it, and the other slight red and literally bristling with rage. "Nice sword you got their mate, but its nothing compared to my weapons, I call them the Axe-pocalypse, as cliche as it sounds it holds some truth, these are the weakest, Polemos*, and the strongest, Thanatos*." Riza felt a little sick just looking at Thanatos, as he waved it close to the ground it instantly decayed all the life it didn't touch. "The other two are strong but they are not as strong, but more vicious, so I don't bring them out, ill only use Polemos, I dont wanna harm a single hair on your gorgeous body." he said with a wink, making Thanatos disappear into nothing.
Riza visibly softened, he -never- wanted to see that abomination again, but was slightly worried, what did he mean the other two were more vicious? He shook his head, clearing the thoughts, K was nice, he had to have a good reason for those weapons. "Ya ready?" K yelled, smiling that smile he shared with the shadow of his nightmare. Without a single reply Riza launched himself at K using the grass at his feet, he wasn't going to go let K think he was weak.
Riza's abode~
"where the hell am I?" E. Aster said to himself, as he sat up. He was in some kind of home, on a surprisingly big bed clad in white silk, he searched himself making sure nothing was stolen, only to see he was bandaged up from his fight and his items were placed by his side. "I see the ol bunny is awake." He heard a familiar she-bat say. he turned his head to see Leila relaxed in a hammock in the corner of the room he was held in. "Calm down young one, I have no intention of fighting with you, I only want to talk." Bunny was surprised, she had just spent days kicking his ass (not that he'd admit it) up and down this isolated island. "wha' da ya mean?" he said gently lowering himself to the floor and strapping his weapons to himself. "I need to tell you a story, a very old one, that may shine some light on the current situation of yours." she said stretching her back slightly. "wha situation migh' tha be shiela?" he said a little confused. "the one with the guardians, Klamate, and Riza." she turned her head towards his giving a solemn stare. "well," bunny said a little intrigued, after all what could a small animal know about any of this? "Go ahead." Leila smiled and began to recount her tale.
Once upon a time, long long ago, there lived a woman and a man. The woman had a love of life and happiness, much like the man, and they spent their days growing a beautiful garden on a very young, barren ,planet . They spent many eons perfecting a gorgeous garden of beautiful plant life and animal life, enjoying all life, and everything was peaceful. Unfortunately, a darkness had slipped in without alerting its presence. It was a malignant, evil force whom hated all life and happiness, only wanting a dark, dead, and unhappy life for all. One day as the man took a stroll, leaving the woman alone, the darkness attacked the woman.
Luckily she was too pure for the darkness and easily shook it off, attacking it back, feeling its evil and will to harm. She fought bravely against it, using her powers over life to ask the plants and living organisms to help her, shaking the earth beneath it, tearing it apart with tornadoes, striking it with meteors, drowning it with floods. In its final moments he now pitifully weak darkness was cornered by the woman and the strength of good.,but it had not given up what evil hope it had.
The man, having heard the great fight, ran back to the woman, caring for her, and the earth's safety. Unfortunately his presence distracted the woman who was about to slay the darkness with a bolt of pure energy from the sky. The darkness took this opportunity and shot itself like an arrow to the man, striking him in the heart. The woman screamed out in horror, and saw a most monstrous transformation in the man.
He had gone from a beautiful blonde haired blue eyed man to a black haired atrocity. his snow white wings corrupted and turned coal-black , and his loving smile turned into one of evil intentions and dark mischief. He had turned from a creature of love into a deity of hate and death. From his own darkness he drew forth four axes, One of war, one of Famine, One of Pestilence, and one of Death. She knew what she had to do, once again marshalling her powers as mother earth, she fought a battle against her new foe, a long, arduous battle that spanned centuries. She acquired allies as he had, the man from the moons cradle, the breath of the earth, the one who sends the departed to the other side, and the one sleeps in the earth.
At the end of this great battle Mother Earth and her allies reigned supreme, and sent the dark entity to the void, locking him and his allies in separate prisons, whose keys were fashioned into powerful spirits by the man in the moon. They rejoiced but the battle had taken its toll on the Mother earth and the one who sleeps in the earth.
Sensing his end, he requested a favor of the Earth mother, use his lifeless body and save the both of them. She agreed and as he passed away with the reaper at this side, she split his body into a seed and a key for the man in the moon's cradle, the key of wonder. As she did this, she ingrained her own essence into it, changing herself into a lesser form till she could recuperate. As she changed the newest key left a prophecy seen by his old form, the dark one shall come back, and with his powers he shall release his allies and destroy the earth. And with the Earth gone, none shall be safe, the only chance for us all is the seed, once it awakens nurture it, and protect it, and the icy wind shall guide us all to salvation.
The keepers of the Earth left, disbanded to accomplish their own goals. The one who guides the departed left to find a way to end the darkness. The breath of the earth once again left, looking for the icy wind, The man in the moons cradle left to watch over the keys, and the Mother earth took the seed and nurtured it. waiting for the day till the icy wind comes to save them all.
As Leila finished her story, E. Aster couldn't believe it, was any of this true? Could he truly be in the presence of such a powerful spirit? "I know this is a lot to take in young one," Leila began ominously "but I have just one request to ask of you… Will you keep this a secret?"
The Spar~
Riza gritted his teeth as he blocked K's slash. the two had been at it for at least 45 minutes, neither side stronger than the other. " Hey Riza?" said K as he blocked a particularly vicious slash from Riza's blade "Wanna make this interesting?" He said with a smile beating his wings hard and flying up high. Riza was close behind propelling himself up with large vines "How so?" K stopped flying and dropped like a stone, right below Riza's feet and heading towards the ground at body-breaking speeds "If I win I get a kiss on the cheek from you, and If you win, you get a kiss on the cheek from me?" As he neared the ground he unfurled his wings and slashed the ivy at its base, sending Riza falling. "D-deal" Rixa said without really processing what he had said. He landed gracefully on his feet, seeing K running at him he readied himself for a vicious blow.
At that moment a particularly evil stone had found itself in K's path and tripping him, sending him flying and losing his weapon. as he came to a stand still he found Riza poised over him ready to strike. "Ahahaha damn my luck, looks like you have won. Riza lowered his hand and extended his hand to K. K took it and propelled himself up landing a kiss on Riza's cheek. Smiling he said he had to go and took off into the sky, Riza, oddly enough, was still standing there, turning redder by the second. "M-m-my first kiss" he said as he slumped to his knees and buried his hands in his face, too embarrassed to even think about what happened, he didn't even know how he would tell Leila. Unfortunately, Leila, along with some others knew, as the kiss released a shockwave of pure, unadulterated evil.
Riza's abode~
"YEs ma'am' said bunny, agreeing to keep Leila's secret. "Thank ea-" she was interrupted as the shock wave passed through the pair, causing them to gasp as the darkness nearly burned them "Riza?" Leila whispered
Tooth palace~
The tooth fairy rambled off instructions to her helpers. "Left Incisor at N-" the dark shock wave hit her making her momentarily stop flapping and plumet. her fairies came to her rescue and helped her start flying again "W-what in the world?" she cried
North's Work shop~
Jack was tending to his flower, thinking of Riza sullenly. "C'mon Jack, Its not world's end" said North trying to cheer him up. The darkwave hit the workshop, snuffing out all light, blowing elves away and made both North and Jack gasp and crumple to the ground. As jack regained his composure, he glanced at the flower and noticed it had completely died in a second, "Riza?" jack said in fear of his friend(?) "It looks as though I am wrong friend, it may be" said North as he got up, gaze turned towards where the shock wave came from.
La Grande OR~
A boy with light brown hair, freckles, light skin, and pink eyes slept, dreaming of an unusual encounter between a heartbroken nature spirit and an evil shadow. Towards the end of this encounter, the spirit offered his hand towards the shadow. "no.." the boy said softly. The shadow took it and shot at the spirit. "run.." the boy said again. unfortunately the spirit did not hear him and the shadow got closer. "no" he said a little louder. The shadow then "kissed" his cheek, infecting the spirit with his darkness and leaving a dark patch, this released a wave. As it reached the boy he propelled himself up "RIZA!" he yelled tears streaming down his face. After a moment he realized he was confused, where did this weird dream come from, and who was this Riza? The only thing he knew for certain was that this spirit had made a mistake, a deadly one.
Okay, so I know this was a lot to take in, but I had to have a lot since its been awhile ^~^
