Ch. 10 Every End Is A New Beginning
I don't own MLP FiM, but I do own Xavier and the new character that you'll be meeting later. This is the final chapter of this story. And you'll be seeing the epilouge at the end of this chapter. Review. PLEASE.
It's a week before Twilight and Flash's wedding day. Everything has gone smoothly with wedding preparations. Cadence has been helping Twilight and Rarity with the dresses, Shining has been helping Flash with honeymoon plans, Applejack has been working on snacks, Fluttershy was training her birds for music, Pinkie was preparing decorations, and Rainbow Dash was planning on her famous Sonic Rainboom for the end.
In Ponyville, Diamond was walking to the Carousel Boutique to a dress for the wedding. As she passed Sugarcube Corner, she spotted Tough Fist walking away from a laying down, crying Silver Spoon. She ran over to her friend and asked, "Are you okay? What happened?" Silver Spoon turned to her and said, "I just lost the money to buy a dress. I didn't have a choice." Diamond said, "I knew you should have broken up with him. Why didn't you?" Silver glared as she said, "That's none of your business. If you're just gonna judge me, the go away." She put her face in her hooves and began crying again.
Diamond stood there before she sighed and put the bag of bits she brought to buy her dress beside Silver. "Tell me how well the wedding goes," Diamond said before she began to walk off. Silver Spoon stopped crying long enough to look up at the bag and watched as her friends walked off.
With Xavier, he was getting fitted into a tuxedo with Shining Armor and asked, "Sure you can handle this dad?" Shining Armor asked, "What? Being the father of another child? Of course I can." Xavier said, "No. I meant seeing your little sister take the biggest step in life." Shining said, "Oh, that. Yep. I trust her. Plus, Flash is the most loyal guardspony I've ever had. I have no trouble believing he's the one for Twilight." Xavier nodded and continued standing as he was finishing getting fitted.
Back with Diamond, she walked into the clubhouse where Scootaloo, Applebloom, and Sweetie Belle were looking over their dresses. Applebloom saw the sad expression on her face and asked, "What's wrong Diamond?" She turned her friends and said, "I'm afraid you guys are gonna have to enjoy the wedding with without me." Scootaloo asked, "What happened?" Diamond said, "Silver Spoon didn't have the money to buy a dress so I gave her mine." She then looked as the floor, sat down, and sighed.
Applebloom turned to her friends and the two nodded as Sweetie Belle said, "We might have way to help you out." Diamond turned to them, confused as the three fillies pulled out a small box out from under their chest. They opened the box to reveal a few bags of bits. Diamond's eyes widened and she asked, "How did you three get this much money?" Scootaloo smirked as she said, "Two ways." Applebloom said, "Half is from helping some ponies when we were trying Cutie Marks." Sweetie Belle said, "And the other half is from winning bets with our sisters." Diamond then asked, "And you guys are willing to give this to me for a dress?" Applebloom said, "Of course Diamond. You're our friend now." Diamond smiled as tears of joy rolled down her cheeks and she said, "Thanks guys." They smiled as Sweetie Belle said, "No prob. Now come on. Let's head to my sister's place." The four then left the treehouse and headed to Rarity's.
Later that day, after being fitted, Xavier flew to Ponyville and landed beside town hall where he met up with his friends. But instead of Silver Spoon, there was Pipsqueak with them. They noticed Squeak sitting on Xavier's shoulder. Xavier asked, "Are we all ready for next week?" Sweetie Belle nodded and said, "I can't wait to be a flowerfilly for another royal wedding." Scootaloo said, "And I can't wait to see my sister's Sonic Rainboom again." Applebloom said, "But for now. Let's head to Sugarcube and get some smoothies." They all nodded and began walking.
Later, they all sat a table as Xavier turned to Diamond and asked, "Where's Silver Spoon?" Diamond turned to her boyfriend and said, "I saw her this morning, but none of us have seen her since then." Xavier thought for a moment before he put Squeak on the table, turned to Pip, and asked, "Hey Pip? Can I talk to you for a minute?" Pip said, "Sure." The two walked out of hearing range of the table as the girls played with Squeak. Xavier asked, "So Pip? Are you gonna ask her?" Pip the said, "Yeah. I plan to ask her at the reception." Xavier smiled and placed his hand on Pip's shoulder as he said, "That's great Pip. I for one, think you would be perfect for her." Pip smiled as he said, "Thanks X." The two then started walking back to the table.
About six days later, they all headed to Canterlot for the last night before the big event. Twilight was in the middle of her bachlorette party with her friends, her mother, Cadence, and even the five fillies, including Silver Spoon. Applejack smiled as she said, "We're all real happy for ya Twi. Me and the girls always thought you'd be the first out of the six of us to tie the knot with somepony." Diamond said, "And Silver and I can't thank you enough for letting us be flower fillies with AB, SB, and Scootaloo." Twilight smiled and said, "You're very welcome Diamond." Cadence stepped up and said, "I can see a bright future for you and Flash." Twilight said, "Thanks Cadence. And speaking of Flash. I wonder how his bachlor party is going right now."
At Flash's hotel room, he was celebrating with Shining, Night Light, Big Macintosh, Spike, Xavier, and Pipsqueak. Spike asked, "You ready for tomorrow Flash?" He smiled as he said, "I'm excited, but also nervous." Xavier said, "If you ask me Flash. You have nothing to worry about. You and Aunt Twi are perfect for each other. Right guys?" Big Mac answered with his signature, "Eeyup." Night said, "I was hoping my daughter would end up with a stallion like you." Shining said, "No doubt about it." Flash then checked the clock in his room and said, "Alright guys, time to head out. Can't be tired tomorrow. Thanks for a great night." They all headed out while telling Flash goodnight.
The next morning, Twilight was woken by her mother as she said, "Come on sweetheart. No sleeping in on your big day." Twilight groggily got up, showered, ate, and put on the wedding dress Rarity made. This dress was white with some different shades of lavander on it. Twilight smiled as she turned to Rarity and said, "Thank you Rarity." Rarity smiled and said, "You're very welcome. Now are you ready for your biggest step in life?" Twilight nodded and Applejack said, "Then lets go girls." They all walked out to the carriage and rode off to the castle.
At the castle alter, Flash stood with Shining Armor, Spike, and Xavier by his side. Along with them stood Celestia; who had agreed to be the minister of the wedding. Flash was sweating nervously as Shining said, "Relax dude. Everything will be fine."
Big Macintosh came into the chamber and said, "Attention everypony. The bride has just arrived." The guests stood up as Fluttershy flew to her birds, and the rest of the mane six(except Twilight of course) along with Cadence came in and took their place on the sides of the walk way and beside Shining Armor. Finally, Twilight Velvet came in and took her place beside her husband in the seating rows.
Then Fluttershy began conducting her birds song, the doors opened to allow Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Diamond Tiara, and Silver Spoon to walk down the walk way, dropping flower pedals, as Twilight followed behind them.
Once Twilight reached the alter, the music stopped and Celestia began speaking, "Fillies and gentlecolts. We are gathered here today to witness the union of Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry. Their commitment to teaching Equestria is strong, and their love; even stronger. Do you, Flash Sentry, take Princess Twilight Sparkle to be your wife?" Flash smiled and said, "I do." Celestia continued, "And do you, Twilight Sparkle, take Flash Sentry to be your wife?" Twilight smiled at Flash and said, "I do."
Spike then held out the rings on a pillow and Celestia floated one ring onto Twilight's horn and the other onto Flash's hoof. Celestia finished, "Then by the power vested in me, I pronounce you mare and stallion. You may kiss the bride." Twilight and Flash turned to each other and wasted no time in bringing their lips together. Everypony in the chamber cheered as loud as they could and Rainbow flew into the air and performed her famous Sonic Rainboom.
Later in the garden, Twilight and Flash had just cut and finished their cake before they started their first dance as husband and wife. Everypony watched from the table as Silver got Diamond's attention by saying, "Thanks for the money Diamond. I really appreciate it." Diamond smiled and said, "Anything for a friend. You need this while putting up with a coltfriend like Tough Fist." Silver Spoon said, "Yeah. Andd it's excoltfriend now... I dumped him." Diamond said, "That's wonderful. You deserve better than him." Silver Spoon said, "You're right. But for now, you should turn around."
Diamond did as she was told and found a smiling Xavier holding out his hand to her and asked, "Shall we join everypony else on the dance floor?" Diamond looked over Xavier's shoulder to see Twilight and Flash were joined by Spike with Rarity, Shining with Cadence, and suprisingly, Macintosh with Fluttershy. She smiled and placed her hoof in his hand as she said, "I'd love to Xavier." She turned to Silver and said, "I'll see you later." Silver nodded and the two made their way out to the dance floor.
After a few minutes of dancing, Xavier and Diamond heard Silver Spoon's voice say, "Let go of me. I told we're through." They turned to see Silver Spoon being held in a headlock by Tough Fist who said, "You don't end this. I do!" Xavier and Diamond stopped dancing and ran toward them as Xavier said, "Hey man. Let her go." Tough looked at him and said, "You must be Xavier. Skull Break told me about you when you took his girl from him. You really shouldn't demands. Especially when I've got back up."
After he said that, Xavier was put in a headlock and he managed to see it was the colt who had attacked Diamond days before. He smirked as he said, "I see you remember me. But you never got my name. I'm Skull Break and Tough and I are gonna show you what happens when somepony tries to take one of our girls."
Tough then pushed Silver to the ground and began punching Xavier in the face and stomach. Diamond's pleas of stopping caught the attention of everypony there.
When Tough was about to punch again, somepony grabbed his arm, put ot behind his back, and got him on the ground. Diamond looked up, expecting to see Spike, but instead there was Pipsqueak who had Tough down.
With Skull being distracted by this, Xavier shot some ice in his face, covering his eyes, elbowed Skull in the stomach, and freed himself from the headlock. Xavier then tripped him, put his forelegs behind his back, and held him down. Three guards walked up and said, "We'll take it from here boys. Their parents will be hearing about this." Xavier nodded as he and Pip let the two thirteen year olds go as the guards took them.
Diamond walked up and asked, "Are you alright Xavier?" He nodded and turned to Flash and Twilight. "I'm really sorry about that. I didn't mean-." Twilight held up her hoof and said, "It's okay. You did what you had to do." Flash said, "Besides. We're about to take our leave anyway."
The two walked off as Cadence said, "Have fun Twilight." Twilight nodded as Shining walked up to Flash and said, "Take good care of my sister Flash." Flash smiled and said, "Wouldn't do anything else... bro." Twilight then stopped and said, "Whoops. Almost forgot."
She pulled out bouquet and threw it. Rarity tried to catch it, but suprisingly, Fluttershy caught it. She turned to Big Macintosh and the two blushed. After that, Twilight and Flash rode off in their carriage.
After cleaning up, Xavier and the others began heading to the train station. On the way there, Pip walked beside Silver Spoon and asked, "Hey Silver Spoon? I was wondering?" Silver asked, "Yeah?" Pip gulped as he asked, "Would you like to go out sometime?" Silver smiled as she said, "Sure. I'd love to." Pip asked, "Really?" Silver said, "Yeah." Xavier smiled as he thought , 'Good job Pip.'
They reached the train station and everypony got on their trains, except Diamond and Xavier. Diamond said, "I don't want to say goodbye yet." Xavier smiled as he lifted her face and said, "Then don't. I'll see you tomorrow." Diamond nodded and the two shared a kiss before they each got on their own trains.
*Eleven months later, Twilight and Flash had come back from their honeymoon after spending a month in Los Pegasus. Whn they got back, Flash had his stuff moved into the library. They were extremely excited to know their new nephew or niece will be arriving very soon.
In Ponyville, Cadence and Shining Armor sat with Twilight, Spike, Flash, and thier friends at Sugarcube Corner while Xavier and the girls were at school. Pinkie was saying, "Oooooo. I'm so excited. A new little friend." Shining said, "Easy Pinkie. We still don't know when it will come. It could happen at any time." Cadence said, "Yeah. But like you I can't wai- aaahh." Applejack asked, "What's wrong?" Cadence turned to her husband and said, "It's time." Shining's eyes widened before he turned to Spike and said, "Send a letter to Cheerliee and tell her to let Xavier and his friends out. Tell them to meet us at the hospital. Also send a letter to Celestia to tell her it's time." Spike nodded and did as he was told as Twilight and Flash helped Cadence on to Shining Armor's back. They all headed to the hospital as Cadance groaned in pain.
Later at the hospital, Xavier sat in the waiting room with everypony else while his parents were in the medical room. Diamond walked up to him and said, "It's going to be okay X." He looked at her and smiled as he said, "You're right."
Then Dr. Hooves came in and Xavier asked, "Is everything okay?" The doctor smiled as he said, "Your mother is fine and... it's a filly. They're open for visitors if anypony wants to see them." Celestia smiled as she said, "You should go first Xavier." Xavier smiled and followed the doctor to his parents' room.
When he entered the room, he saw his father sitting beside Cadence as she held a small pink blanket. He walked closer to see a pink alicorn with a gold and blue mane. Cadence looked at him, smiled, and asked, "Do you want to hold your new sister, Xavier?" Xavier smiled as his mother handed him the little filly and he held her close. The little filly opened her eyes and smiled as Xavier said, "What's her name?" Shining said, "We're gonna let you name her." Xavier thought for a moment before smiling at his new sister and said, "Crystal... Crystal Star." Cadence smirked as she said, "Perfect."
Later, everypony met the new princess of the royal family. Celestia held her new niece close as she said, "Welcome to the family Crysatl." Applejack turned to Xavier and said, "You must be over the roof about being a big brother." Xavier nodded and said, "I am excited. But I still wonder... Will I be a good brother?" Fluttershy walked up to him and said, "You'll be a great brother. You're loyal, caring, kind, and protective of your friends and family." Rainbow Dash walked up and said, "She's right. With a brother like you, she'll have a great life. Besides, you're the wielder of the Element of Hope. That should prove you'll be great." Xavier nodded and said, "Thanks guys."

*6 Years Later*
Chrysalis was still mad about losing the battle against Xavier. She sat in her abandoned castle, blasting left and right. One soldier stepped forward and asked, "Queen Chrysalis? Could you please calm down?" She turned to the soldier and said, "Silence. Even with that power, I still lost to that boy."
A voice said, "I didn't think you would beat him. But that was to see if you were worthy to be an ally of mine. And you have proven yourself." Chrysalis recognized the voice as the same one that told her about the Element of Fear. She looked around and asked, "Who are you? Show yourself." The voice said, "Come back to the entrance of the cave and I shall reveal myself."
In the Land of OOO, Prince Frey was hanging out with his girlfriend, Princess Gerda. Gerda looked at the sun and said, "It's such a beautiful day. Isn't it Frey?" Frey smiled as he said, "Yeah, but not as beautiful as you." Gerda said, "Awww, Frey."
The two then saw a crack begin to form in the ground near them. It began to glow with a strange green energy and a skeleton hand broke out of it. The hand then pulled out its owner to reveal the most feared creature in all of OOO.
The prince of the Fire Kingdom and the princess of the Ice Kingdom looked in shock and fear as Frey said, "The Lick."
The undead king looked at the two and said, "The Lich has returned. And I shall now travel to an old world I used to conquer and gain the power to reconquer both it and this pathetic world." The Lich then began walking toward the Candy Kingdom as Frey said, "We have to follow him." Gerda nodded and the two followed the king of the undead.
