Previously in Half Blood High~
"Seriously. But Annabeth and Luke are an item now. And I saw them making out last night, okay? I don't want to talk to her about it. I don't want to talk about any of it." Percy grabbed his books and headed towards his class, leaving Grover to catch up.
Grover chewed on his shirt. His best friend and his favorite female friend were obviously jealous of each other. Clearly, Annabeth liked him… but got peer pressured into getting with Luke. Ew. And Percy… he was too shy and nice. And stupid. Heck, they were both idiots. Lovable idiots. Sigh.
Grover needed to get them back together. And while he hatched plans, he didn't notice Percy slipping into class, so he kept walking. And he bumped straight into—
"Watch it goat-boy!" A raspy high-pitched voice said.
"THALIA!" Grover practically shrieked. "Oh my gods! You're back?!"
"Clearly, stupid." Thalia grinned and gave his a big hug.
Last year, Thalia was sent away to a boarding school for girls in Luxemburg because her mother wanted her to be there. Zeus and Ms. Grace had divorced when Thalia was 5 when Zeus fell in love with Hera. Thalia still hated her dad for that, and hated her mother for not trying to keep them together. And that sparked her rebel stage.
For as long as anyone could remember, Thalia was always dressed in black and spikes. Though she had a necklace with a bullet from the Second World War dangling from her skinny chest at all times, Thalia had the heart of gold. Well, only to those she liked. Her brother Jason now goes to the Italian school on the West side of town, SPQR. Thalia and Jason were close. She took care of him when their mother was out late partying or getting high. But then Thalia fell into a depression and ran away from home. Pretty soon, she got on drugs and then was sent to rehab.
But rehab didn't work out, so she was sent to a catholic boarding school all the way in Europe. And Luxemburg helped her get a full recovery.
"You look great." Grover quipped. "You got rid of some black though. But I'm loving the pastel Goth look you're rockin over there."
Thalia had on a loose black sweater, a pastel purple skater skirt, black knee socks and REALLY REALLY thick-soled black shoes. A grey studded beanie, her bullet necklace, spiked wristbands and black nail polish kept her look more…. Thalia. And of course, the thick eyeliner and pale lips. She even got a nose piercing along with several cartilage rings. Her pale face and her striking blue eyes were almost doll like.
Her black hair now had lighter blue highlights and was chopped to hit her collarbones exactly. It looked better than the choppy rat's nest she used to have during her stoner stage.
"Thanks, nerd." Thalia nudged his shoulder with hers. Under the sweater, Grover remembered it was covered in tattoos. Personally, Grover was a little afraid of them, except the pine tree tattoo. She got it when she first ran away from home when she was 13. Her mom almost killed her for it. "I missed you."
"Thalia?" Another voice called out from down the hall.
"Annabeth." Thalia's voice got caught tin her throat. When Annabeth finally reached them, they shared a long embrace. Grover thought he saw tears, but if he brought it up, Thals would probably punch him.
"What class do you have?" Annabeth asked, pulling away.
"I requested to have all the same as you. Except maybe AP World History and AP Calc. I like having study halls." Thalia smirked, brushing her long wispy bangs. She was still the same Thalia— lazy. But she was smart. "By the way, I heard my cousin goes here now. Do you know him?"
"Wait. Percy's your cousin?" Annabeth asked. Grover noticed her cheeks flush a bit.
"Yup. Haven't seen him in years since he moved to Manhattan. He's finally back with the great big messed up crappy family." Thalia grinned. "I heard he's become a real looker." She waggled her dark brows.
"Drew's got her eye on him already." Grover quipped, but looked at Annabeth. She met his eyes then looked away.
"Um, I need to go talk to Mr. Kravitts before class Thalia. I'll see you in Chem." And with that, she bolted down the hall.
"Well. That was weird!" Thalia said with one eyebrow raised as the two watched Annabeth's figure fade into the crowd.

During lunch, Percy was late. Drew and a couple other crazy chicks had found him and were trying to impress him. When he finally got to the table, everyone was already there.
"…you and Luke? You guys are together now? And you didn't think of telling me? I suppose this is where I'm supposed to say: OMAGAWSH I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN SOMEDAY YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTE!" A familiar voice shrieked from the table. The girl was jumping up and down in her seat. Then she turned around. "KELP HEAD!"
Percy's face broke into a giant smile. "'Sup Pinecone face?" He put his lunch down at the table and sat across from Thalia. "You're back. I missed you. How was nun school?"
"It was great. Pretty *bleep*ing retarded." Thalia rolled her eyes and grabbed his sandwich, taking a giant bite out of it. "But I guess it kinda helped." Her mouth was still full and everyone saw her half mashed food.
"Ew! Thalia." Grover and Katie whined. Travis and Connor high fived Thalia. Beckondorf sighed but smiled and Silena, Margo, Amanda and Felicity giggled.
"So cousy-wussy. How are you liking Half Blood High, the verdict of all my suspensions." Thalia said, finally returning the half eaten sandwich to Percy.
"Hey! I'm a growing boy. You owe me a sandwhich. Go. Now." Percy playfully moaned.
"Naw. I don't wanna waste my money on you." It was nice to have Thalia back.

"Hey Annie, can we skip class." Luke had Annabeth against the locker and was making kisses along her neck. She could feel a hickey and she hated it. Annabeth wasn't one for PDA.
"No. I like my classes." She pushed him off of her. "And I'm going to be late. I'll see ya later."
"Nerd." Luke teased. Annabeth whipped around and smiled back flirtatiously.
"Bye, ya dumb jock."
"Annie! That hurt." Luke grabbed her arm and kissed her.

Percy turned the corner, talking to Thalia about… stuff, when they spotted Luke and Annabeth. Percy froze up and went stiff. He hesitated then walked with his gaze anywhere but Annabeth and Luke's… area. Thalia noticed an unsettling aura.
'Maybe they hate each other?' She thought to herself.
Then she noticed Annabeth look at their direction, well, at Percy. She went positively red and looked away fast.
'Okay. Never mind.' Thalia thought to herself, bemused. Something was going on between them. Even Thalia could tell… so why in the name of Hades was she with Luke?
