Author's Note: Well yeah, most people didn't want to do the game thingy, so I'm just skipping to the next day. Also I'm changing the dialogue style to make it a little clearer. :)
Chapter X, Fights and Plans
Kei's POV (the next day)
I wake up feeling extremely sore since I still have a broken rib. I look down to see how Hikari is curled into my chest. It hurts since she is literally glued to my chest and pressing down on my rib, but it's worth it to her so peaceful. I then remember her arm. I gently pick up her arm to check it and see that she was lying to me. There are five straight marks close together. She didn't accidentally get it, someone did this to her.
"Kei? Are up already?" Hikari asks as she slowly turns around and opens her eyes.
"Hm hmph" I reply meaning a yes, and then I see her eyes widen.
"O my god Kei, What happened to your jaw?" Hikari lowly yelled.
Crap! I forgot about trying to cover up the bruise again. Ummmm how do I fix this?
"I can explain!" I state way too quickly.
"Explain then! Who did this to you, and when?" Hikari asks angrily.
"Well it's your ex's fault! He came over here wanting to talk to you, and then he pissed me off!" I told her annoyed at what that prick did to her.
"Why didn't you tell me?" she asks softly, and I know that she is holding in tears because she blames herself for this.
"I didn't want you to worry." I tell her. "You've had enough things to worry about already, and I don't want to add to it." I tell her as I cup her face and look into her eyes.
Slowly I lean in and place my lips on her softer ones. I caught her off-guard, but she slowly gives in and puts just as much passion into the kiss.
"Now what happened to your arm? Don't say it was an accident because that was obviously someone else, and you would only try to hide it if it was someone important." I state trying to sound calm, but you can still hear some anger in my voice since I already hate anyone that has hurt Hikari.
"Same as you. I had run in with your fiancée at the store, and her grip was way too tight on my arm." She says looking down.
God I f**king hate her enough already, now I f**king despise her. That woman is worse than the 100 devils. I would never even marry her; she would just remain my fiancée for the rest of my life if she had to, but now I am going to go to London and demand that my grandfather accept Hikari.
"That's it Hikari I am going to London, and demanding that my grandfather accepts you! I don't get why he dislikes you! YOU FREAKING HELPED HIM GET BACK WITH HIS DAUGHTER, AND HE STILL DISLIKES YOU!" I yelled and I knew my face was probably red because I was just furious.
"Kei you shouldn't do that yet. I am still technically still engaged to Kenta, so I have to break up with him first."
She had a point. I wasn't just going to go and demand a relationship with someone who was still in a different relationship.
"Fine, but we are going right now!"
"WHAT, RIGHT NOW ARE YOU CRAZY! It's like 7:00 a.m.! He's probably still sleeping." Hikari said.
I was going to get up and argue, but as I stood up a let out a small wince, since I hit my rib. I guess Hikari noticed since she immediately got red and it obviously wasn't a blush.
"YOU SLEPT WITH ME IN THIS BED AND ARGUED WITH ME, AND YOU HAVE A BROKEN RIB! YOU IDIOT, I COULD OF HIT YOU WHEN I WAS SLEEPING. I AM NOT BREAKING UP WITH ANYONE UNTILL YOU GO TO A HOSPITAL!" yelled Hikari with a furious expression. She always worries about others first.
Hikari's POV
I can't believe this retard. He has a broken rib and he's been in pain all day, and he didn't even tell me. He didn't even go to a hospital! This guy could sometimes be denser than me. Even though we haven't really changed (still in their PJs). We were dressed good enough to go to the hospital. I grabbed Kei hand, and I heard him mutter something, but not clearly. I opened the door to the house I dragged him through the door. I then opened the car door, and he began to mumble that he could do it himself which just got me annoyed.
"IF YOU COULD DO IT YOURSELF THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU!" I yelled furious. He was being stupid and I was not in a good mood. I pushed him into the car, and got into the driver's seat.
"I don't want to go to the hospital" Kei mumbled like a little kid. This somehow made me laugh a lot.
"What are you laughing at?" asked Kei a little annoyed.
"Well It's just that you're suddenly sounding like a little kid." I said with a smile. I wasn't as annoyed anymore.
At hearing that he seemed like a little kid he began to pout that he wasn't one, and this just made me laugh harder.
"Why are you laughing now!" he yelled a little pissed now.
"You..You were…(hahahaha)….pouting…(hahahaha)..and it was…was..hilarious!
Kei was just quiet and had an annoyed look on his face, but I could see how his lips were fighting a smile.
We then arrived at the hospital, and I checked him in. The doctor then took us into a room to check Kei.
"Ok sso he does have 2 broken ribs, but that's it. It'll probably heal up in a month or two. I wouldn't recommend much movement, so keep his away from any sports. That's all, you may leave now." Said the doctor as he smiled and opened the door for us. I said thank you and walked away with Kei.
1 hour later back at the house
OK, so Kei's asleep. I got in my car, and quietly drove away.
In a small amount of time I made my way to his house, Kenta's. I knocked on the door waiting for him to open it, but when he did I almost didn't recognize him.
His face was bruised all ove, he had a broken nose, and a black eye. God what happened to him.
"Oh my gosh Kenta what happened to you?" yelled as I helped him limp back inside.
"Your boyfriend happened." He said with a cold expression.
I cringed at his tone, and I could tell that he was angry, but wasn't trying to show it.
"Kenta I'm so sorry." I said with my head down, as he sat on the couch.
"What about?" asked Kenta with a confused expression and a little pained since he probably knew what I was about to do. I reached into my pocket, and for the last time ever felt the small diamonds on the silver engagement band. I pulled it out and brought my hand in front of him. I opened it, and I could see the tears gather in his eyes as he looked at what was in my hand.
"I'm so sorry Kenta. I can't wear it because I don't love you. You deserve someone that loves you just as much, and I'm not that person." I quietly said while the new version of Niagara Falls was gathering under my eyes.
"You can't. HIKARI NO! I LOVE YOU! PLEASE…PLEASE DON'T DO THIS…PLEASE!" Kenta yelled in between sobs. He had a stream of water under his eyes.
"I'm sorry" I said as I just ran to the door and towards my car. Before I got in I heard kenta begin to sob very loudly, and ask Why? I drove away with some tears still going down my cheeks. Kenta is a great person, he kind, caring, handsome, and honest. He's the perfect guy, and I do love him, but not as much as Kei. I love Kei with all my heart, while I can only convince my brain I love Kenta, but not my heart. "I'm sorry." I lowly mumble to myself as I'm on the road.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: Ok, this time I had a legit reason to not update. First of all STUPID STAAR TESTING! Then STUPID MAP TESTING, later STUPID UNIT TESTING FOR THE 6 WEEKS, and last STUPID HOMEWORK! Basically I blame school for shoving every single test in one months' time. I had to work my butt off to study for every single one of them. It was so nerve wrecking. Ok so how did ya like the chapter? I hope you liked it at least a little, cause I'm having trouble staying on one idea of the story. I just wing it as I write it. THX for reading even if this was boring. So I plan to just write probably 5 more chapters to finish this story, so write any ideas for the ending that you have.
