Both thought it best to wait until nightfall to strike.

"So," Kagome casually asked, looking at the sight the American government had taken control of, "Your girlfriend didn't want to come to this fun adventure?" She asked half-sarcastically while observing the details of the 'mini-city' the government had built.

Thor glanced sideways at her with a slightly confused expression, "If you are speaking about Jane Foster, she is not my intimate companion," He answered and he wasn't too sure about the Priestess' proceeding sigh and what it meant, "She was a kind maiden who helped me in my time of need."

"And yet I'm the one here," Kagome grumbled in Japanese under her breath, "It's dark enough to move. Let's get this done," She said grimly, gesturing Thor to move swiftly and quietly towards the fence that blocked their access, "Under is better. We don't want to get caught by the barbed wire on top."

"Not a problem, my Lady." Thor grinned, easily hefting the bottom of the fence upwards enough so they both could crawl through.

They moved quickly in tandem, using the darkness to their advantage and Thor was the one who took out two soldiers with fast to-the-point punches. He grabbed the coats from the two unconscious men, handing one to Kagome so they could better cover their faces with the hoods.

"I wish I had my bow." Kagome grumbled after taking a quick glance at the discarded guns before moving closer. She had no desire to use such a lethal weapon against anyone.

It was only a few moments later that she cursed when blaring alarms abruptly rang throughout the area and she let out a low hiss to warn Thor.

"They know we're here!"
