Prompt: Momma and Popa Deeks

"Come on, we have to leave in 5, otherwise we'll never get to Kevin's party." Kensi called from the nursery as she changed her son, Ryan, who was now 2 years old.

"I'm sorry Fern, but the princess is torn between the yellow dress and the fuchsia dress!" Deeks said when she walked in the room next door with Ryan fully dressed on jeans and a blue shirt. His blonde curls jumped up and down as he clapped his hands laughing down at his father.

Lily, their 6 year old, stood by her bed with a hand on her hip and the other on her chin and was staring intensively at two of her favorite dresses.

"Lily, honey, just chose one please..." Kensi begged the kid.

"Wait." The girl said stubbornly. She could have her father's looks but no one could deny that her ways were a copy of one Kensi Marie Blye!

Deeks knelt down next to his daughter placing a hand on her back. "Princess Lily, can you please choose the prettiest dress of the kingdom so you can head to your party already fashionably late?" Curiously, exactly like her mother, she too was a daddy's girl! And Deeks would pretty much melt with anything she said or did.

"Daddy I don't know which one to choose…" Deeks looked up at his wife silently asking if he could get that bag from their bedroom.

Kensi rolled her eyes but nodded at last. In two minutes he was back with a bag from the little one's favorite store. "Lily, how about you try on this one?" He pulled the most beautiful fuchsia dress Lily had ever seen out of the bag and her grin went from ear to ear as she tiptoed to her father to slid her arms around his neck and sweetly kiss his cheek.

"Oh daddy! It's so pretty!" She held on tight. "Thank you daddy!"

"Don't thank me baby girl, it was mommy's idea to buy you this dress."

Lily then ran to her mother who had yet to let go of her baby brother and hugged her legs nonetheless. "Thank you mommy, I love you!"

Kensi's heart melted at these words and she passed Ryan to Deeks's hands so she could scoop her daughter in her arms and hug her close. "I love you too Cupcake, so, so much!" Lily pulled back from the hug and kissed her mother's cheek.

After Kensi put her down, Lily put on her dress as Ryan went back to his mother's arms and Deeks got his son's diaper bag. In 10 minutes they were ready to go to Nell and Eric's house. Lily was super happy with her new dress holding Deeks's hand as they strolled to the car but just as Kensi stepped out of their house Ryan felt sick.

"Oh my god Ryan! Perfect timing baby boy!" Deeks turned around and saw his son had vomited in Kensi's shirt.

Lily saw it too and started laughing at her brother. Much like an older sister would. Deeks looked down at his daughter. "Lilian Marie Deeks! Don't laugh at your brother, he's not feeling well!" He said firmly as Kensi strolled back inside to get changed.

Just another day of their new - not so new - reality. And Deeks couldn't ask for more!

Who else is excited for tonight's ep? I think Deeks and Kensi were lying, but…you never know!
