Harry turned to the source of the sound and saw a girl with long, silky black hair, coppery-like skin, a silver circlet around her head, a slightly upturned nose and black eyes like volcanic rocks. Around 14 years of age dressed in complete sliver dress with an arrow notch up in her bow point it at him.
"I could ask you the same question GIRL." He said putting emphasis on the girl just to mock her.
A few more girls dressed in sliver joined her and pointed arrows at him. "Speak carefully BOY, your next words might be your last." She said.
"I highly doubt…" Harry stopped mid sentence, he turned to his left and bowed in the direction of trees.
A girl about 12 years old with auburn hair and sliver eyes appeared there. "Do you really think that you can take on my hunters?" she asked curiously without any hint of angry.
"Milady, if you don't interfere than it's a fair game. I don't know their individual skill levels but if they are as good as the stories I have heard about them then I do have a good chance of defeating them."
The one wearing the tiara snorted," You are just an arrogant demi…" Zoe's rant was cut short by Artemis.
"I will test your skill to on a later date. In the mean time answer Zoe's question, even though your family owns this land it is rare for anyone of your bloodline to venture here so late in the night." Artemis asked.
"There is a colony of Acromantulas in the forest. I am here to wipe it out before they can harm my little brother. Last month some of the Acromantulas came to the edge of the forest when he was visiting the school. They might have attacked him if he had stayed any longer." Harry answered her.
Zoe was surprised when her mistress was talking respectfully with a boy. She could not ascertain the identity of the boy from the conversation they were having. The only thing she found out was that her mistress believed the boy in front of them to be skillful and the boy cared for his little brother. She also thought that the boy might be suicidal for trying to take on a colony of large spiders by himself.
"Do you know how many Acromantulas are there?" Artemis asked incredulously after checking out the nest with her power.
"There are 672 Acromantulas in the colony with the average size of a small car." He answered.
'The boy was defiantly suicidal' thought Zoe. 'Even we can't take on that many monsters on at the same time and live.'
"You were planning to kill all of them by yourself?" Artemis asked in disbelief.
"I was planning to kill most of them while relocating the remaining ones to Athena's temple on Mount Olympus."
To the surprise of most of the hunters, Artemis laughed.
"So you share your family's hatred for my sister." She asked after she got her laughter under control.
"Not exactly, I didn't hate her until I found out that she cursed Uncle Poseidon's children to be dimwitted because of her grudge against their father." he replied.
Artemis eyes widen at his reply. She understood his little brother was a child of Poseidon. She hadn't bothered about the child's father at the time of his birth as she knew about the tragedy that had struck the family at that time. "Uncle is playing a very dangerous game here." She said cautiously.
"If you believe you are powerful enough to take on the entire colony by yourself then let's play a game. Let's see who can hunt more Acromantulas between us." Artemis challenged him.
"I will compete only if you agree to follow two rules. Firstly we can't use our powers of mass destructions. Secondly, we would keep at least 50 Acromantulas alive for me to relocate them to your sister's temple." Harry responded accepting the challenge.
"The first to kill 312 Acromantulas win." Artemis said pulling out her hunting knives.
Harry decided to use his sword in its normal form. He changed the colour of the sword from the normal black to bronze.
The hunters were surprised when a sword suddenly appeared in the boy's hands. Till now most of them thought that the boy in front of them was just another arrogant male. They got another shock when the boy headed toward the nest of Acromantulas at the same speed their mistress. They could only follow blurred outline of the two. Within four minutes both of them returned and it seemed that the boy had barely broke a sweat.
"You are better than I expected you to be at this age. You haven't been to camp halfbood yet, have you?" she asked.
"Not yet, my mother oversees my training along with my other family members. My mother even got Lady Hecate to train me. Though I don't have any water based powers Uncle Poseidon does help me out in my training from time to time." Harry replied.
Everyone present including Artemis was surprised by his proclamation. Two Gods training someone was unheard.
"Why would Lord Poseidon train you boy?" Zoe asked did not believing that one of the big three would train a little boy, especially if he was son of his brothers. Zoe had come to this conclusion because he kept referring to Poseidon as uncle.
Harry just looked at Zoe for few moments and turned back to Artemis without answering her.
"That was fun; we should do it again sometime soon." Harry said to Artemis ignoring the glare he was getting from Zoe. "I hope you won't tell your sister that I was the one to set the spiders inside her temple." He added as an afterthought.
"It was fun. After a long time somebody challenged me while hunting. If over a period of time you don't grow arrogant then we shall do it again." Artemis said hoping that he didn't grow up to be an arrogant man. 'Just being in his presences again made her all hot and bothered. Watching the way he hunted down those spiders was so exhilarating, if I hadn't wasted time looking at him I might have won. It was good that he didn't brag about tying with me any other man would have bragged about his achievement in front of the hunters.' Artemis thought thinking about the hunt.
Flashback
Both Harry and Artemis powered up their weapons as the rushed towards the nest. Her daggers glowed with sliver energy while he summoned fire and wind around his sword. Both their eyes glowed with power.
As they got near the spiders Harry swung his sword in their direction. Using the air currents he cut the two spiders near him. As the thirds spider descended from the tree above him, Harry plunged is sword into the spider's body, the momentum of his running cut the spider's body into two. Running towards the hoard spiders he attacked them with controlled bursts of wind and flames annihilating the group within seconds. After dealing with that group he went on to the next group of spiders.
Artemis wasted some time initially admiring Harry and his handiwork. After noticing how efficiently he hunted the spiders she too got in on the action. She easily killed many spiders by slicing them using the twin daggers. During most of the hunt she kept her eyes on him. Ready to help in if he needed it. She also coordinated her movement with his and was careful not to get in his way. All these cost her few precious seconds.
To an outside observer it would look like two Jedi Knights working in tandem killing off wild beasts. Their glowing swords looked like lightsabers. The speed at which they move could only be described as inhuman. The spiders had no chance of defending themselves from the deadly assault of the two hunters. If someone were to watch the male very closely they would be able to see a tinge of blue in his green eyes.
End Flashback
Harry walked toward the nest of the remaining Acromantulas. As he approached the nest he used his power over the shadows to wrap the spiders and transport them to Athena's temple on mount Olympus. This drained a lot of energy from him. After resting for few minutes he returned to Hogwarts.

"Milady are you going to allow the boy to walk away from us?" Zoe asked.
"Yes Zoe, setup up the camp here." Artemis responded.
"You are going to allow him to prank your sister?" Zoe asked again with a tone of disbelief.
"I am not going to interfere in the grudge his family has against Athena." She replied. "Next time Zoe, try to be civil when you talk with him. He ignored you because you were being quite rude to him. He is different from a normal male, Zoe." She added as the saw Harry disappear into the forest.
"He was a Potter?" Zoe asked finally realising the identity of the boy.
"Yes Zoe, he is a Potter." Artemis answered.
"What's a Potter?" asked one of the newer hunters.
"Potter is the name of a very powerful family. Their bloodline is very strong, even mortals born into that family are very powerful let alone demigods."Zoe explained. "So was he a mortal or a demigod?" she asked.
Artemis just smiled back at her.

On Mount Olympus a very furious Athena searched for Hermes wearing full battle armour after finding 50 giant spiders in her temple.
After she got over her fright she had made short work of those spiders. She also planned to kill Hermes in a very painful. 'Does he really think he can get away with playing prank me?'

The train ride back home was uneventful. Lily had come to pick him up on the train station. They left via portkey without much fuss.

Harry always had trouble landing while using a portkey. It was no different this time. As they landed on the floor of Potter manor Harry slipped at fell on Lily. Lily also became off balance and hit the ground. Harry found his head resting in between his mom's breasts. He took his own sweet time to get up. He offered his hand to his mom to help her get up.
"One of these days Harry, I am going to teach you how to properly use a portkey." She said to him.
"And miss landing on my favourite pillow? Never." Harry said teasing her.
Lily blushed a little but didn't respond to his comment.
Percy ran up to Harry and gave him a hug. "Welcome back big brother. I missed you."
"Hey little bro we just met 2 days ago." Harry responded.
"Ya but it one was for a short time. You will be staying home for the holidays right?" he asked.
"Yes I will be here for the holidays. So how is your training coming along?" Harry asked him.
"Good. My sword fighting has improved." He replied drawing his sword to challenge Harry. Harry pulled out his weapon and attacked his little brother. After few rounds both cleaned up and got ready for dinner.

"Anything interesting happened during the last few days of school?" Lisa asked Harry whole the y were eating dinner.
"Dumbledore is up to his old tricks again, manipulating people from behind the scenes. The fool has brought the mirror of Erised to school." Harry told his family.
"That man would never learn. He just likes to play with other people's life thinking of himself as a God." Charles voiced his displeasure.
"Speaking of Gods, I ran into Lady Artemis inside the forbidden forest yesterday." Harry informed his family.
Both his mother and grandmother had different reaction to that statement and spoke up simultaneously. "You are very lucky that she didn't turn you into an animal." His grandmother stated. "What were you doing inside the forbidden forest?" his mother asked.
"I didn't feel any danger of being turned to an animal when I was in her presence grandma. We even hunted together yesterday." Harry explained. He continued, "I went into the forest to wipe out a colony Acromantulas that resided there. I ran into some of her hunters first, they were quite rude, but the goddess was very soft spoken and gentle. Both of us together wiped out the entire colony within 5 minutes. Then I sent the handful of spider left alive to Athena's temple on mount Olympus."
"Harry that was very dangerous thing to do. Why do you have to take these unnecessary risks?" his mom asked him.
"Mom those spiders almost attacked Percy when he came to watch my game. I couldn't let that happen so I went to deal with them at night." He answered emphasizing on night.
"The first year exams were easy and I aced all the subjects." He said changing the subject.
"That well and good but don't try to change the subject." His grandmother said. She added, "You should have allowed your grandfather to deal with them. Lady Nyx might be your patron Goddess she won't always protect you at night."
"Sorry, grandma. I will be more careful from now." He said in the most sincere tone he could muster.

That night Lily cornered Harry. She took him to her bedroom. "Why do take unnecessary risk with your life Harry? It is good that you want to protect your younger brother but protecting at the cost of your life when he isn't even in imminent danger is a bit too much. Why do you want to put me through this kind of suffering? Your life is important to me just as Percy's. You are my last connection to James. You already have two dark lords after you. Please promise me that you won't take any unnecessary risks. Harry promise me." She broke down crying in Harry's arms.
Harry could bear to see his mom in such as state. "Mom, you know that I wasn't in any real danger right. The night would have protected me."
"I don't care about that Harry. Just promise me that you won't take any unnecessary risks with your life." she said while sobbing.
Harry caved in see her tears. He wiped her tears and said, "If you stop crying mom than I promise I won't take any unnecessary risks and endanger my life." he pushed her down onto her bed and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead. "You have a very beautiful face mom, don't mar it with tears." he said while sitting down next to her.
"Harry stay with me for tonight." She said while leaning towards him to rest her head on his shoulder.

Harry enjoyed rest of the Christmas holidays with his family. He visited his mother every alternate night. She was very interested to know about his encounter with Artemis. She also increased his training. She also gave him bad news of Percy having less than three years before he gets pulled into a major prophecy. This made Harry work extra hard. He even increased his training hours with Hecate.
For Harry the most memorable part of Christmas was when he held mom in his hand and had comforted her. He remembered watching her sleep after she had cried her heart out in front of him. He remembered how beautiful she looked when she was sleeping peaceful. She had beckoned him to lie besides her.

On Mount Olympus, the battle between Athena and Hermes created a huge ruckus. It got the attention of nearly all the major gods present on the mountain.
Zeus broke up their fight by tossing a lightning bolt between them. "What's going on here?" he roared.
"Athena just attacked me for no reason and started throwing wild accusations at me." Hermes said.
"You thinking you can prank me and get away…" Athena's rant was cut short by Zeus.
"Silence." He roared with sounds of thundering in the background.
"Sister what proof do you have that Hermes is guilty of playing any prank on you." Artemis asked enjoying the show. Sometimes Athena got on her nerve with her know it all attitude and massive hubris.
"Good point daughter, I am the God of justice, I will decided the matter. Athena do you have any proof the Hermes was involved in any wrong doing against you." Zeus asked.
"No I don't have any proof against him but who else could place 50 giant spiders in my temple?" she asked.
"I have no idea about any spiders in your temple. Although I admit that it is a good prank to play on you, I had no role in it. Yesterday, I went clubbing with Apollo and then hooked up with a beautiful mortal woman." Hermes replied.
Aphrodite meanwhile was busy observing Artemis. Something had changed inside of her but she couldn't but finger on it.
"I can vouch for him." Apollo said joining the conversation.
"You could also be involve on the prank." Athena accused him.
"Normally I would agree with you sister but in this case you have no proof against my idiotic brother and Hermes. Hermes never denies about any prank that he was involved in and by looks of my brother I can tell you his telling the truth about hooking up with mortal girl." Artemis said.
Suddenly Aphrodite squealed getting very excited, "Who is it Artemis? Who has finally broken you hard exterior and touched your heart?" she asked getting more excited by the second.
"I don't know what you are talking about Aphrodite. I not in love with any male." Artemis stated.
Apollo gasps at that, being the god of truth he could detect a hint of lie in her sister's statement.
"It's not love yet but you defiantly are having some feelings for some one. Who is he? Is he handsome?" Aphrodite asked again.
The matter at hand was forgotten and all Gods and goddess present became interested to know if the man hating goddess has finally found love.
"I blast any man or God who lays a hand on my daughter." Zeus proclaimed.
"I am not in love with any male nor is a male in love with me." Artemis proclaimed and looked at her brother.
"She is telling the truth father." Apollo said getting confused as he detected no lie in his sister's statement.
"Can we discus Artemis' nonexistent love life later and focus on matter at hand. Athena just attacked me for no reason." Hermes said getting the attention back on him.
"Athena since you attacked Hermes without any proof nor can you prove his involvement in the matter you shall be punished for it." Zeus said dramatically. "Your punishment will be decided on a later date." He added seeing the look on his daughter's face.
As the Gods and Goddess began to disperse Aphrodite pulled Artemis towards her flashed out. They appeared inside her temple. "You might be able to fool your brother but you can't fool me. Now tell me who is the guy that you…", she paused for a moment and studied Artemis' face, "lust after."
"It's none of your concern. Stay out of my life." Artemis snarled at her. "I don't want you anywhere near him." she added before flashing out.
'Now I am very interested in this mysterious guy. I have to know who is he or does he have any male relatives. If his relative is as good as him than I might just have a small taste of him and leave him for Artemis.' Aphrodite said to herself.

During Harry's journey back to school he sat with Hermione and Tonks. They were discussing how the spent their Christmas holidays and what gifts they got. They also thanked Harry for the wonderful gifts he had gotten them. Harry had given Hermione a book on 'pureblood house and their standings' and Tonks had gotten a beautiful red dress which perfectly fitted her natural form with a note attached reading 'for our date.'
Daphne had joined them still wearing 'Harry Potter rules' shirt. Harry had used the opportunity to tease the ice queen. He was very surprised when she flirted with him in response.

During the welcome back feast, Charles and two of the committee members appointed to monitor Dumbledore enter the hall followed be couple of members of the ministry's education department and a healer who specialized in illness of the mind.
"Dumbledore," Charles pause to make it more dramatic, "this is your finally warning. If you again decide to bring a dangerous object to this school then you would be permanently removed from the post of headmaster."
Dumbledore had lost his normal grandfather like appearance, "What are you talking about Charles. I haven't brought any dangerous objects here." He said trying to sound calm.
"I am talking about the mirror of Erised you brought to school and kept it were students could fall prey to its illusions. If my information is correct on Ronald Weasley has taken a great liking to the mirror over the holidays. He would be checked up by healer Derwent for any long term brain damage. You better hope for your sake there aren't any. Many fully grown wizards and witches have wasted their lives being ensnared by that vile mirror and you expect kids to be safe around it?" without waiting for a reply Charles continued, "You have been suspended from your post as the headmaster for a week. A member of the ministry's education here would take over your responsibility for the time period. Professor Quirrell you also have been laid off for a week for your poor performance. If you don't get your act together, you would be removed."

Dumbledore for the life of him couldn't figure out how Charles found out about the mirror or the Weasley brat being enchanted by him. He had allowed the brat to find the mirror in hopes that he would tell Harry about it. 'Harry wasn't even in school during that time so how did he find out? Has he placed a spy inside the school? The only other students who knew about the mirror might have been the brat's brothers. Was there a traitor in his staff? But the newer teachers didn't know about the mirror or the traps he had placed on the third floor. Luckily, he had managed to conceal the trap door below fluffy. The only bright side to the situation was that Charles also had removed Voldemort from school. Leaving Voldemort in school during his absence might be dangerous in current times.' Were some of the thoughts going through Dumbledore's head.

After the eventful first night school life almost back to normal for Harry. Ron hadn't suffered from any long term brain damage. Harry had gotten an option to join the second years or attended the classes with his batch mates. He decided to attend the classes with his batch mates but would be conducting independent study during that time pertaining to the subject in question.
When Ron found out how dangerous the mirror could have been to him, he started to dislike Dumbledore. Hermione wasn't happy about it. She had read about Dumbledore's great achievement and thought of him as a great man. "He might have made a mistake Ron. You weren't supposed to find the mirror. You probably entered a restricted area." She tried to convince Ron that it was his fault that he found the mirror.
"Hermione, you are a good friend of mine right?" Harry asked her.
"Yes, Harry." She replied.
"Then don't ever praise Dumbledore in my presence. I know that you have great respect for authority figures which isn't a good thing, Hermione but do it for me." Harry said to her.
"I will do anything for you Harry." Hermione replied blushing.
The people who overheard the conversation were surprised at the strong dislike shown by the boy who lived towards the leader of the light. They agreed that in recent time Dumbledore's image was falling apart but they couldn't think of a reason for such hostility between the Potter family and Dumbledore.

After a week was up Dumbledore returned and life was back to normal at Hogwarts.
Wood was as obsessed with Quidditch as ever. The next game was with Hufflepuff. He was worried about their seeker. Cedric Diggory was a good seeker and more experienced than Harry or so Wood thought. He had tried to increase their training time to which most of the players had objected. Harry had assured Wood that he was a better seeker than Diggory and not to worry about the result.
True to his word Harry had caught the snitch in 2 seconds after the game began. It was a record of the shortest Quidditch game ever played in the history of Hogwarts. The Gryffindor celebration in the stands was halted when a fight broke out between a couple of first year Gryffindors and three Slytherins. All the five involved were punished.
Couple of professional scouts who had come to see Harry play were bit disappointed by the short game but at the same time they were amazed that he could catch the snitch so quickly.

Tonks received a note from Harry couple of days before the valentine informing her about the timing of the date and the place to meet him. She was the envy of most of the girls in the school when the news of her being Harry Potter's valentine date had spread.
On Valentine's Day quite a few girls had received valentine gifts from Harry. Harry had given them a small red colour heart shaped velvet box. He placed a charm on them to have more space inside, the box contained flowers, chocolates and perfumes of different variety depending on the taste of the girl. Harry had given this gift to Hermione, Parvati, Padma, Daphne, Susan, Tracey and Su. Tonks was given a beautiful Diamond necklace with a note 'wear it tonight.'
On Valentine's Day Dumbledore tried to exert some control over Harry, the key word being 'tried to'. "Mr. Potter, since you are a first year student you cannot leave the school premises for your date today. If you try to leave school premises today you would be punished." Dumbledore informed Harry when he was eating his breakfast.
"First of all old man, you have no right to interfere in my private life." Harry said in a harsh tone. "Secondly as the heir of the most ancient and most noble house of Potter I can leave the school premises whenever I want to conduct any business relating to my house. I just have to inform Professor McGonagall that I am leaving the school premises. If you don't know the rules of your own school than I suggest that you step down as headmaster old man." He said before going back to his breakfast.
Dumbledore without saying a word left the great Hall.

Tonks spent few hours getting ready for her date with Harry. The beautiful red dress that Harry got her fitted her natural form perfectly. The dress was backless and hugging her ample breast in such a way that is showed her large cleavage. She felt very exposed going braless but the dress called for it. She wondered how Harry got her the dress that fitted her so perfectly even her mother had tough time shopping for her. The necklace Harry had given her went perfectly with the dress.
Harry met her outside her common room just as they had planned. He was dressed in a three piece black suit with a dark green tie. His appearance made Tonks suck in a deep breath he looked breathtakingly handsome as a sixteen year old. A small crowd of girls for all years had gather at the entrance to watch Harry.
Tonks extended her arm towards Harry. He took it and kissed the back of her hand. Tonks giggled slightly as he kissed her. He led Tonks away from the girls who were trying to follow them. Tonks was getting annoyed by the girls following them. She hoped they would go away so she could enjoy her date with Harry.
As they turned the corner she felt something strange. Now, in front of her was a small dinner table with couple of lit candles. Looking around she spotted the entire floor covered with rose petals. The walls were decorated with bouquets and red hearts. There seemed to be chocolate boxes floating in the air near her hands. Tonks could hear slow romantic music being played. She wondered how she and Harry got here. Apparation was not possible inside Hogwarts. She decided to ask him about it later. Right now she was going to enjoy her date.
Harry led her to the table and pulled the chair out for her. He sat across her. "Do you have any preference in food?" he asked.

After a very romantic dinner Tonks asked Harry the question she was dreading. "Does this mean you are my boyfriend?"
"Tonks you are one of the most beautiful woman I know. Before I give the obvious answer to that question Tonks there a couple of things you should know about me." Harry told her looking into her eyes and holding her hands. His eyes had a ting of blue glow. He had been expecting the question. "I am a marked man Tonks. There are many forces, some far greater than your comprehension after my life. Plus there are two dark lords after me. I can understand if you aren't willing to take the risk of being my girlfriend. So would you still be my girlfriend?"
Without hesitation Tonks happily replied, "Yes! I will be you girlfriend. I don't care about the risks involved in it."
By now the blue glow in Harry's eyes had intensified, "Secondly, it is hard for me to stay in a monogamous with so many good looking girls around me. Would you still accept me?"
"I have no problem in sharing you." She replied falling under Zoi's spell.
Tonks pulled him towards her and started snogging him. Slowly the kiss deepened. Tonks hand started roaming all over his body. Suddenly Tonks froze up. "Release her for your spell. She is in love with you but this is not the time or the way to take her." Harry could hear his mother's voice in his head.
This ended their snogging session. After Tonks straightened herself, Harry escorted her back to her common room.
After he dropped her off, he visited his mother. After lecturing him for his actions, Nyx helped him to get his raging hormones under control.

About eleven weeks before the end of term, the Hogwarts wards notified him a dragon egg brought inside the ward lines. He passed on the information to his grandfather. Charles relieved Hagrid of the egg with barely a slap on his wrist. Charles had no quarrels with the simple minded half giant so he didn't take much action against him.
Dumbledore was pretty miffed about the whole situation.

As the end of the year exams approached, Harry seemed to be the only student in school not to bother about them. He was having a relaxing breakfast while his friends were busy studying. Even Ron was reading for the exams. Hermione was asking him all sorts of questions about his exam.
Hermione rapid fire question was interrupted when she saw three centaurs entering the great hall. The three of them had a bow hanging across their backs and a quiver full of arrows.
Dumbledore drew his wand and said, "You are not welcome here." He hoped protecting the students from angry centaurs will get him back in good books of the people.
"Shut up white beard. If you are not going to help us with our problem we will find someone who will." Said the centaur in the middle.
He along with his fellow herd members came to rest in front of Harry. "Harry Potter of the house of Potter, may I Magorian, the chief of the colony of Black forest have a word with you in private?" the middle centaur now known as Magorian asked.
"I forbid you to talk with any of my students. Now if you don't leave my school I would be forced to take action." Dumbledore said putting power in his voice.
"This no longer is a matter of the school old man. If you heard him properly than you would have realised that he asked for an audience with a member of my house. Unlike you I do like to help people. You don't have the power to stop me from meeting with him in private." Harry told him. He turned to Magorian and said, "We will go where we won't be overheard."
The four of them left the great hall. Dumbledore thought about following them but then decided against it since he already knew what this was about. The centaurs had asked him to help them remove a wraith who was hunting the unicorns in the forest. He natural refused because he still wanted Voldemort inside the school.

As soon as they were away from prying ears, Magorian said, "There is a wraith hunting unicorn for its blood inside the forest. We have been unable to catch it; all we can do is temporarily drive it off. Help us destroy it."
"I will watch over the forest at nights and if I find this wraith, I will deal with it. But why did you come to me with this problem?" Harry asked after agreeing to help them.
"We first went to white bread for help and he refused to help us, saying that a creature in the forest isn't his problem." Magorian explained. "You are the only Potter residing on the school ground so it was natural we came to you for help, your family owns the school after all."
Harry was surprised that the leader of the centaur knows about his family owning the lands here then again centaurs did play are role in ancient Greece.

Dumbledore was now interested in seeing what step Harry will take now. Till now he had shown no interest in going after the philosopher's stone. Now that centaur have asked to help him deal with Voldemort some of his plans finally may see the light of day. The only way for Harry to deal with Voldemort was to kill Quirrell. He could use Quirrell's death to gain control over the boy. He decided to place monitoring charms on the doors which lead to the grounds near the forbidden forest. Once the alarm went off he would follow the boy out. Then when he killed Quirrell he would make it seem that he was the only one who could protect the boy. "Yes this plan is perfect." He said to himself. "I finally will get control over the brat and put him in his place."

What Dumbledore didn't count on was that Harry would use shadow travel to completely bypass the door. He knew that he couldn't confront Voldemort as it would break his promise to his mom but that didn't mean he couldn't attack from the shadows and make that vile man suffer. As he got closer to the forest he used the darkness in the forest to locate Voldemort. He found his prey stalking a young unicorn.
Before Voldemort could attack the defenceless creature, Harry attacked him with one of Hecate's special curse. Voldemort doubled over in pain. He felt his body was slowly burning up. He couldn't make any coherent thoughts. He let out a horrible scream. Quirrell's body started to spasm uncontrollably.
Meanwhile, Harry used the time to call his half brother Thanatos. "I can't collect Voldemort's soul till his anchors exist all I can do right now is take Quirrell's soul and increase the torment of Riddle." He informed him. Without saying a word Harry just nodded to his half brother.
The curse Harry used on Quirrell used Quirrell's own magical core to attack the mind, soul and the body. Since Quirrell's body housed two magical cores the effect of the curse was by a factor two. Once Quirrell's soul was removed all the attack of the curse was borne by Riddle. The curse had also trapped him in the body till the body was completely destroyed by the curse. The curse tortured Voldemort for few hours nearly driving him insane. Voldemort could only leave Quirrell's body when it was completely burned to ashes.
Harry observed Voldemort fleeing the jungle from the shadows. He then vanished ashes left by the body. After seeing Voldemort flee he was happy that his half brother hadn't used his power to take him. 'This way I can give him a very painful death. The Death of both Voldemort and Dumbledore would example as why not mess with the Potter family.' Harry thought to himself.

Next morning Dumbledore had two new problems. His DADA teacher was missing and Charles Potter had found out that he had ignored the centaurs when they had warned him about a dangerous creature in the forest. He still had the job only because the committee members were not willing to fire him on the words of few centaurs. It was a good thing that those blasted Acromantulas had disappeared over the winter holidays. When a search of the forest was conducted by experts, no dangerous creatures were found but they the find the site where the two unicorns were killed. He had to cash in a few favours to remain as the headmaster for the next term when the idea of removing him at the end of the year had come up.
After being unable to explain the disappearance of his DADA teacher he had to personally fill up the post till the end of the year exams.

Harry had no problems acing his second year exams with top grades. The material was far too easy for him. All his friends even Fred and Gorge had done well on their exams. Harry had helped them prepare for the exams. Surprisingly all the topics Harry had stressed upon one day before the exams had been asked in the papers.
Tonks had thanked Harry for his help during the exams by having a very hot snogging session.

Harry was happy with the things he accomplished during the school year. He made new friends, destroyed a bit of Dumbledore's reputation and the best of all got to torture Voldemort. He knew all these were mere footnotes on the path of his destiny his mother had chosen for him.
Putting the thoughts of his destiny aside he made summer plans with all his friends. At one time or another he would be visiting them during the summer holiday. Tonks would be the only one visiting him.
During train ride back to king cross Harry expanded his carriage so all his friends could fit in.

During summer solstice meeting on Olympus, Hermes had brought up the topic of Athena's punishment. Artemis suggested send her to Hogwarts as a teacher for a period of 5 years. Poseidon approved of her suggestion. Seeing Artemis glare at him angrily Apollo voiced in favour of the punishment. Dionysus was also in favour of the punishment as he wanted the goddess to suffer just as he was suffering. Demeter, Hera and Ares were indifferent to the punishment.
Aphrodite was carefully studying Artemis. Her behaviour had been very odd in recent times. Right she seemed very happy for no apparent reason.
What Aphrodite didn't know was that all of this was planned by Artemis in advance. She had roped in Poseidon, Hermes and Apollo in advance. She decided to do all this just for fun. She wanted to see how 'he' would react to Athena as his teacher. Plus Athena needed to be brought down a peg or two.
"Father you can't send me to the mortal world for five years. Plus the Potters won't want me near their school" Athena said pleading with her father.
"The Potters don't hold a grudge against you my dear. I will talk with the head of their family to accommodate you in their school. You love to teach and spread knowledge so you won't have a problem teaching at Hogwarts for two years." Zeus told Athena finalising her punishment. This way I get Hermes off my back and it would make it seem I don't show favouritism.
Aphrodite was the only one in to room to notice the flicker of emotion appearing in Artemis' eyes at the mention of the name of Potter. 'How interesting' she thought, 'So you are lusting after a Potter.'
A/n: 1) This chapter is a little rush because I want to cover most of the importing things that occurred in Harry's first year as well as set the base of my story.
