Hi everyone. I'm so sorry I haven't updated in a while, but I've been having a bit of writers block. Anyways, here is another chapter of J&TS! Who will they save next? And what state will they go to? I'll let you find out as you read. Enjoy!
Disclaimer: I do not own Jake and the Never Land Pirates or Victorious. They belong to Disney Junior and Nickelodeon. Though I do own Skylar and her friends.
Chapter 10: Saving Katie from Cape Hatteras
"Mom. When can we go home?" Mickey asked her mother.
"As soon as all of this bull is over with, baby." Was Jade's answered. "We've still gotta save the rest of your friends."
Jake was once again on the laptop, looking for the location of the next child they were going to rescue. Cat had requested Ryan and Katie, and whoever was closer they would rescue. Right now, the gang was surrounding the pirate boy, who had put in Katie's password. A few moments later, a red dot appeared on... Hatteras of North Carolina.
"Well, that's a good thing. Since North Carolina borders with Virginia, we can just drive there." Robbie stated.
Cat giggled. "We're gonna get our kids back, Robbie. Let's go!"
"Kitty, we'll have to wait until tomorrow." Robbie told his wife. "Beck and Jade's kids are still tired and recovering, so we just have to wait a little longer." Cat pouted. "Oh poo. Okay. I can wait."
Jake grinned. "It'll be okay, Cat. I'll save your kids. You can trust me."
The next day
"Are we there yet?" Cat asked for about the umpteenth time as Beck drove the minivan. The drive to North Carolina from Virginia took only an hour, but to everyone it seemed like two hours or more. And Cat was eager to save her daughter from any harm. "So who is holding Katie?" She asked.
"I'm not sure." Jake answered. " From what I can gather, she's with someone who is working a lighthouse."
"So she's at a lighthouse?"
"Probably."
Robbie gave his wife a kiss on the forehead. "Its gonna be okay. We'll find out where Katie is in Hatterus." He assured her. Cat smiled. "I know we will. And I wanna know where Ryan is too."
Jake looked on the laptop and typed in Ryan's password. The red dot appeared on... Las Vegas, Nevada.
"Ryan's in Las Vegas?" Robbie asked in disbelief. Jake nodded. Cat giggled. "Wow. He must be having the time of his life up there."
There was no doubt that Ryan would be having a good time there... but not too much of a good time if he was being held hostage. Soon, the gang made it across the boarder into North Carolina. But it would take a little while longer to get to the Outer Banks. Cat was growing very impatient. She really wanted to save Katie before anything extremely bad happened to her. After about twenty minutes, the gang made it to Hatteras.
Cat got out of the car and spotted a lighthouse. "I see a lighthouse. Maybe Katie's in there!" She piped up. Jake gripped his sword as he walked towards the house. "Cat. I need you and Robbie to stay behind. I'll go in the lighthouse and see if Katie is in there. If she is, I'll save her. I promise." He told as he gave her an assuring smile. Cat grinned a bit. "Save them, Jake... save them the best way you can..." She said. Surprisingly, her voice was low and mature when she said that.
With that, Jake continued on to the lighthouse. As soon as he reached the door, he found out that it was locked. Darn it! Of course it's always locked. Jake thought as he closed his eyes for a moment. Fiercely, he kicked the door open. Walking in, Jake realized that he had a long ways to go. So many stairs to walk up to get to the top. I shouldn't rush... but I need to get up there quick...
Jake started up the stairs. Power walking as quickly as he could to the very top. He stared at closed door at the top and kicked it open. Storming in the room he looked around calling for Katie. "Katie! Are you here?" He asked. All he heard was a muffled whimper. Jake walked toward a big light of the house and saw Katie. Tied up and gagged. "Katie... it's okay. I'm here to save you..." Jake crooned, removing the gag. Katie screamed. "WHY! WHY ARE YOU HERE?! WHY ARE YOU SAVING ME?!"
The pirate boy shushed her. "Katie. Please. I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm here to save you... don't scream..."
"I wouldn't be so sure of you saving her."
Jake gripped his sword as he turned around and saw a woman who looked to be about in her thirties. She was wearing a green shirt and black pants. Her brown hair was short and stood at her shoulders... much how like Tori's was currently. "My name is Savannah... and you're bothering my girl..."
The pirate boy took a step back and held Katie. "She's not your girl... her parents are outside waiting for her return..." He told the woman. Savannah laughed. "Well, she is my girl now... and if you wanna try and take her away... you'll have to get past me!"
"Okay then." Was all Jake said before shooting a beam at the woman, who dodged the beam. That's when Savannah pulled out a gun. "Take one more step and you're dead!" She threatened. Jake took a deep breath as he took a step back away from Savannah. But she ended up pulling the trigger anyway. Jake saw it coming and dodged it. The bullet hit a window, smashing it to pieces.
Savannah smirked. "You're a clever boy. But you still can't defeat me."
Jake glared. "Oh really. Let's see if I can't."
"You might as well face it. Because I work out, lift weights, and run track. I'm practically unstoppable..."
Jake just held his sword up and fired another beam. The woman dodged. The beam bounced off of another window and hit Savannah in the back. She fell down, but wasn't too stunned. "Nice try, kid. But you're losing your touch."
The pirate boy growled at the woman. There was no way he was gonna let her win. No way. Thinking, he charged at the woman and attempted to cut her. But Savannah grabbed him by the neck and slammed his head against the floor. Katie gasped in horror as Jake groaned. Savannah kept doing it until Jake broke away from her. He had a massive headache right now, but that wasn't gonna stop him from fighting. The boy shoot beam after beam at the woman, but she kept dodging them. After a few minutes, Savannah grabbed the Destiny Sword and threw it out the broken window.
"Well then. No weapons to help you now, boy. Looks like you'll just have to fight me with your bare hands." Savannah taunted.
Jake didn't want to hit a female. But if he had to, he had to. "Okay then. I don't wanna do this, but you've left me with no choice." Jake told her. With that, he attempted to punch her, but Savannah grabbed his arm and twisted it. Jake screamed out and kicked the woman in the leg. She let go of him to hold her leg. Jake checked his arm. It wasn't completely twisted, but it still hurt. While Savannah was distracted, Jake made his move by punching her in the stomach, knocking her on her back.
"And you say I'm losing my touch." Jake taunted.
Savannah growled. "Well you will by the time I'm done with you." She got up and charged for the boy again. Jake moved out of the way, and kicked Savannah in her back. "Little prick!" She snarled, smacking Jake across the face. The boy rubbed his sore cheek as he tried to throw another punch, but Savannah grabbed his arms and swung him across the room.
The pirate boy groaned as he got up. He was hurting, but he wasn't gonna stop until he defeated this woman. Savannah ran up to him, grabbed him, and body slammed him. Katie gasped. But Jake got up once again as if he was indestructible. He threw a punch in the woman's face, sending her to the ground.
But Savannah wasn't gonna give up that easily as she wrestled Jake to the ground. Over and over the two rolled around the floor, attempting to pin one another. Katie continued to watch with worry. Would Jake win? Would Savannah win?
Suddenly, Savannah picked up Jake and began to shake him rapidly. "I'm gonna kill you..." She growled. But Jake just smirked. "Really? I'm the one about to die/ How about you look at your surrounding..."
The woman was confused until she saw that she was leaning against a window. Jake took the time to break free from Savannah and kick her, sending her crashing through the window. The woman screamed until she got to the bottom, landing on top of a car.
Jake couldn't help but giggle. Then he turned his attention to Katie. He walked over to her and untied her. "You're safe now, Katie."
"Wow... thank you. You saved my life... even if you are a jerk."
"Um... I'm not a jerk. But don't worry about that. Let's go see your parents."
With that, the two walked out of the lighthouse, where everyone else, especially Cat and Robbie, were waiting for them. Upon seeing their daughter, Cat and Robbie immediately ran forward and hugged her. Cat was bawling like crazy as she kissed her daughter's cheek. "Oh Katie! Katie, baby. I'm so glad you're okay."
"I missed you and Dad, Mom." Katie told them. "I was so scared."
"Well, don't worry. We'll make sure this doesn't happen again." Robbie replied, patting Katie's light brown hair.
Jake smiled. "One more down. Four more to go..." He said.
"So now I guess we gotta go to Las Vegas to get Ryan." Robbie spoke up after a moment of silence. "We better get some rest first. I'm sure we're all tired." Tori replied. The others agreed. It was a long day. Katie had just been saved, and they all needed sleep. After the police came and took Savannah away, the gang had went and checked in to a hotel in Nags Head, North Carolina. They would leave for Las Vegas in two days, so that gave them time to rest up and prepare.
Jake had stood on the balcony of the hotel they checked in. He had been thinking about things. About Tori. About Skylar. About this whole abduction. Why did it happen? What have these innocent kids done to deserve this? And more importantly, who was behind all of this?
I just don't get it... The pirate boy thought as he looked out towards the Atlantic Ocean. Who would do this?
"Jake?"
The boy grinned when he heard that voice. He turned and saw Tori standing by the doorway, smiling at him.
"Oh hi Tori."
"You thinking?"
"Yeah... Tori, can we talk?"
"Um... sure."
Tori sat down at the table on the balcony, and Jake sat across from her. His face looked serious. What did he want to talk about? Whatever is it, it couldn't be good for Tori.
Well. Katie is saved. And now Jake wants to talk to Tori. But what does he wanna talk to her about? You'll find out soon in the next chapter. But here's a chapter preview for you:
"So anyways, I've noticed how pretty you've gotten since you've grown up..." Jake continued, smiling rather seductively at Tori. The woman was freaked out by the way he was staring at her, but she didn't show it... or at least she hoped she wasn't showing it.
"Uh... thanks." Tori replied.
Jake chuckled. "You're blushing... you know you are..."
Darn it! Tori thought bitterly as she turned away. But Jake grabbed her chin and made her look at him again. There was something in Jake's eyes that wasn't right. They looked like they were filled with lust. Seductive lust. That's when Jake started to climb on the table and stare right into Tori's eyes. Her beautiful brown eyes made him shake with arousal.
"You're sexy..." Jake whispered as he leaned in. "You're hot..."
And you're freaking me out! Tori thought as Jake stopped leaning in. But their faces were inches apart... and so were their lips.
Ooooh. Some chiz is going down next chapter. Well, I'll see you guys later, and don't forget to review, please. Thank you.
