Chapter 10

But before he could say anything he heard Natsu speak "hey! um... I'm starving you care if I go get a bite to eat"?

Sting simply shook his head and said "nah man you go ahead I'm not hungry right now, but I'm going to go on to the store and pick up the present and I'll meet you later K".

With that being said the two dragon slayers went their separate ways. The blonde didn't know if he should be happy or pissed off about the situation, but either way he decided that it would be best to hurry up and find the shop. After walking around for about 15 minutes he now found himself standing in front of a small toy shop. With a heavy sigh he entered the shop and was quickly greeted by its owner "welcome I'll be with you shortly sir, please feel free to look around".

Sting knotted in response and cursed underneath because he wasn't the only one in so he would have to wait. As he looked around the shop he notice the woman in front of him was pretty hot. Hell when he overheard heard her convince with the sales person to give her the price she wanted he could have fell in love with her. That was until he realized she probably had a kid or two with the amount of stuff she was getting and decided it would probably be best to kill time by wandering around the store.

Finally thought I'd never get a break from that sour puss, hell I can't believe I thought this would be easy. It makes me wish I stayed and took care of Lucy Rogue's one lucky bastard... sigh.. anyway what was that name of that shop? Oh yeah I think it was sandalwood or something like that...there it is! Good the sooner I get this over with the better... Shit I was hoping that I would be the only person here now I got to fucking wait... Well, well at least I get something nice to stare at while I wait. I have to say that's one hot body and I do have a thing for chicks with orange hair... Damn that girl can negotiate, I thought I was tight with money.. Hell I wonder if I could get her to go have a drink with me, if so this mission may not turn out to be so damn bad after all.. come on you got to be kidding I've got the biggest idiot planet! this chicks got to have a brat or two and all the stuff she's getting.. oh well guess I'll take a look around the shop...

Not long after that Sting finished up his business at the shop and left to find Natsu, he managed to track him down in a small bar. Moments after going through the door the blonde found a very drunk pink haired young man sitting at a table in the corner.

Which only made the blonde growl out loud in a very annoyed tone "yep it's official this mission fucking sucks!" and with he made his way to his drunken friend. "Alright flame brain.. I got the present and now it's time to head back!" snap Sting in a very impatient and irritated tone.

Natsu now looked up at his blonde friend with a dazed expression on his face as he decided to spill his guts. "Well if it isn't my good buddy St..in.g! You know what I have to be the worst person in the world? (hic-cup) Here I am supposed to be her best friend (hic-cup) and, a..nd I can't even stand to be around..(hic-cup) her, it... it just breaks my heart (sigh) to see her like that.. Cuz,.. cuz.. cuz the girl I love died and it was all my fault that I couldn't (hic-cup) protector her".

With a deep sigh the blonde cleared his throat and in a sympathetic tone he spoke "man I know that you blame yourself but she's okay in fact if we don't hurry up and leave we'll miss the party. So let's go.."

But before he could finish he was cut off sound of Natsu laughing as the fire mage started talking again now in hateful tone "shut up! don't you dare talk like you knew her... I don't know what came back it wasn't her anymore and that thing... that fucking thing... if I was a better friend I just do her a favor and..."

Wham,crash! Where the only sound you could hear in the bar as the pink haired male collided with the floor. Sting now overcome with hate and anger at what him just heard was now standing over his drunken friend. Sting had hit Natsu before he realized it and was now standing over him. It took everything the young blonde had not kill this drunken idiot, but instead he reached down picking him up and threw the fire mage over his shoulder, turned and walked out the door. so they can catch the train home Sting couldn't help but wonder if it was love or jealousy that made his friend acted that way.

( Back With Rogue and Lucy)

Lucy suddenly awoke to the sound of a crash coming from the kitchen she quickly jumped out of bed and ran to see what was going on. What the young blonde found upon entering the kitchen was her son giggling and laughing so hard that the was rolling around the floor. Much to her surprise the source of it was a eggs and milk covered young black haired man.

"Oh my gosh what are you two doing in here" Lucy asked in a frustrated tone as she started to clean up the mess. But the longer she looked at the two of them, she found that she too couldn't help but start laughing at what was going on.

"Well kid guess I couldn't make breakfast for your mom but at least I made her laugh...huh.."said Rogue in a happy tone as he looked at Zoro. As he quickly turned and looked at Lucy and continue to talk saying "I know I know don't worry about it I'll clean this mess up".

"Oh yes you will but I guess I can help you" said Lucy with a big smile across her face as she reached down and picked up son. "Well now it looks like you two were having a lot of fun this morning, let me see just what should I do about" said the young blonde as she looked down at her son who only giggled and smiled in response. Lucy then quickly grabbed her keys and said "I open the gate of the maiden Virgo" .
