Last time:

She decided to go to bed early, so she headed upstairs and entered her room. Only, when she was ready for bed and laid down, did she notice that something on her dresser was moved.

Now:

Bella imediately stood up and walked over to her dresser. She reached over and grabbed a snowglobe that her dad had given her when she was younger. It had been moved, it used to be in the center in the front row. Now it was on the far left, by the window, as if someone had placed it there as an afterthought, before they left her room, ususing the window. Only two types of people enter my room through the window, the pack and vampires. I walked back over to my bed and grabbed my phone, before dialing Paul. He answered on the third ring.

"Bella? I thought you would be asleep by now?"

"I did too. It didn't work out like that, can you come over soon?"

"Yeah, I can, why?"

"I'll explain when you get here, oh and use the window, that way Charlie doesn't know that you're here. I don't want to explain this to him. He'll have a field day with it."

"Alright, I'll be there in about ten minutes."

A sudden movement out of the corner of Bella's eye caughter her attention. She walked over to the window and saw something moving in the bushes.

"Could you make it five minutes?"

"Already in the woods babe. Be there soon."

They hung up and Bella quickly went to sit down on her bed again to wait for Paul. About five minutes later, there was a howl. She quickly went to the window and saw Paul at the tree line. She opened her window and moved back so he could climb in. When he was in all the way, she imediatley walked over and shut the window, before turning around hugging Paul tightly. When she released him, he looked her in the eyes, a question burning in his own eyes. She sighed before backing up to look him properly in the face.

"Why does it smell like vampire?"

"I was laying down and happened to look over at my dresser, when I noticed that a snow globe on my dresser had been moved."

He sniffed the air around the dresser quickly before turning back to the brunette. He looked at her for a second before sitting down on her bed.

"I want you to stay at the rez for a few days. I smelled that vamp with the dreads-"

"Laurent?"

"Yeah him. Anyway I want you to stay on the rez till we find out why he is here."

"Paul, I have school, and how am I going to explain this to my dad?"

"I'll think of something, please it would make me feel much better."

"Paul I can't just up and move to the rez. My dad will ask questions."

"Alright, let me call Sam."

He took out his phone and called a number. They spoke for a few minutes before Paul hung up and turned towards his girlfriend.

"Alright Sam said that there will be one of the wovles in the tree line durning the night and till you leave for school. After that he believes that you'll be fine, since it's a public place. That ok?"

"It's fine Paul, but you guys don't have to go to all this trouble for me. I mean won't the guys be busy, or want to sleep?"

"It'll happen in shifts, like patrol. Anyway the pack loves you, they would help you in a heartbeat, besides the pack protects the imprints."

"Really?"

"Yep. Now unfortunetly, I must go, if you don't want your dad finding me."

"Wait, will you stay till I atleast fall asleep?"

"Of course."

The couple walked towards the bed and laid down. It took Bella about ten minutes to fall asleep in her wolf's arms, before he sneaked out the window, but not before leaving a note for the sleeping beauty.

When Bella woke up the next morning, she was alone. She noticed a note on her beside table, she grabbed it and read it while smiling.

Bells,

Left after you fell asleep. Will text you in the morning. Text me when you wake up.

Love you,

Paul

She climbed out of bed, stretched, grabbed her phone and sent Paul a text, good morning. By the time Paul replied she was ready and heading downstairs to cook breakfast. When she left the house to head to school, she looked in the tree line and saw a big black wolf. She walked over and pulled the bacon, she had saved from breakfast, out of the plastic bag and threw it to the wolf, in thanks. She nodded to the wolf, before heading to her truck and driving to school. She pulled into the parking lot and cut her engine before sending Paul a text, telling him that she had arrived at school. She headed towards her friends and greeted them before diving into the conversation between Angela and Eric.

By the time lunch rolled around, she had almost forgotten about Laurent. Though when Kim texted her, telling her that the pack had caught Laurent's scent again, was when the memories of last night came back in full force. She continued to text the fellow imprint for the remainder of lunch. It wasn't until after school did she hear from Paul again. She was heading out of the building when he called.

"Paul?"

"Yeah, it's me Bells."

"What happened? Kim told me you guys found him."

"Yeah we did, we were able to talk to him. Though he won't talk to us, he only told us that he would talk to you, only you."

"Where are you? I'm in my truck and ready to go."

"Bells, I don't think that it's a goo-"

"Don't tell me it isn't a good idea Paul, I am coming, don't make me text Seth."

"Fine, we are at the Cullen's old house."

"I'll be there in fifteen minutes, no hurting Laurent."

"Yes, ma'am."

Bella laughed as she hung up. She started her truck up and headed out of the parking lot and on to the main road, before taking the road she had taken multiple times, to the Cullen's house. When she pulled up, fifteen minutes later, she saw Paul and Seth out front. She parked her truck and climbed out, before being pulled into a bear hug by Paul. She hugged him back, before heading inside the house to be greeted with even more bear hugs, from the pack. When she looked around she found Laurent sitting in a chair. She turned to the pack in question.

"Why is just sitting there?"

"He won't move."

"Ah ok."

She walked towards him and stopped right in front of him.

"Hello, Laurent."

"Hello Bella."

"What are you doing here Laurent? Were you in my room?"

"I'm here to see if the Cullens left their little human. It seems like they have. I wanted to see if you had any idea where they were."

"I don't know, nor do I care."

"Oh really?"

"Yes really, they left me. So why sould I care about them?"

"I see, Victoria is still after you, because the Cullen's killed her mate."

"I'm not Edward's mate, I'm Paul's."

"Who is Paul?"

"Me."

Paul walked up behind her and placed his hand around her waist and glared at the red eyed vampire. Laurent looked at the couple, before standing up and heading towards the exit.

"Alright, I will tell Victoria of this, hopefully she will leave you alone now. I will be back to tell you her response."

"Alright."

He quickly left and so did the others, heading back to La Push. When they reached Sam and Emily's house, they saw Emily and Kim on the porch waiting on them. They imediately headed towards the pack and walked straight past the guys and hugged Bella tightly. The boys looked at the girls in confusion, before shaking their heads and walking inside. When the girls released their hug, they headed inside and found the pack sitting in the living room, waiting for them to come in.

They entered the kitchen and began to prepare food for the pack. They talked as they did, none of them mentioned what went on at the Cullen's old house. When they were done with the food they brought it out to the boys before heading back into the kitchen. Bella grabbed her bag and sat down at the kitchen table and began her homework. She was nearly done with it, when Paul came in the room and saw what she was doing. He came and sat down next her and watched as she worked. She looked up at him from under her lashes, in question.

"Yes?"

"Nothing, just watching you work? Are you almost done?"

"I have about three more problems for my math class, then I'll be done."

She continued to work for about five more minutes before she was interupted by Paul.

"Are you done yet?"

"Not yet Paul, I haven't even finished one problem. I'll tell you when you when I'm done. Ok?"

"Fine, but don't take too long, I don't know how much longer I can wait."

Bella shook her head affectionately, before returning to her work. After a few minutes, she packed up her books and faced Paul.

"Alright, I'm done. Now what?"

"Yay!"

He grabbed her hands and dragged her out the backdoor and towards the forest. When they reached the tree line, Paul turned to Bella.

"Stay here for a second, ok?"

"Alright."

He went behind a tree and transformed. He came back and bent down, for her to climb on. She climbed on his back and held on as he took off farther in the woods. They stopped once they reached a little clearing. She hopped off and looked around, as he went to the tree line to transform back. When he returned he looked at her, and saw the look on her face.

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah, this clearing, somewhat reminds me of a meadow, on the Cullens' side of the treaty."

"You went there a lot, with HIM, didn't you?"

"Yeah."

"Do you want to leave?"

"Not really, I like it here."

"Alright."

They walked to the middle of the clearing, before sitting down. They spent the rest of the afternoon there, before heading back to Sam and Emily's for dinner. It was already dark by the time Bella left the reservation. When she arrived home, she found her dad asleep in his recliner. She woke him up and sent him to his room before heading upstairs to get ready for bed. She was so tired that she was asleep before her head hit her pillow.

I hope y'all like it. Sorry for the wait. Don't forget to review and tell me what you think please!
