As he swept the floor faster, Rock and Kaori simply exchanged a look, Star's been saying something about him not wanting them to be mad at him anymore, but they have no idea what the yellow hedgehog is even talking about…
'Can't let them be mad at me… if I have to leave, who knows what may happen?!' Star thought in a worried tone…

Brave 10: Angry! Sonic's in Big Trouble!
"Minna! I drew a diagram of our mission, so it's super-easy to understand!" Sonic replied to his team back at the Spirit Base, showing them said diagram. "We gotta restore the powers of the 10 Great Zyudenryu and the Guardians and beat down the Deboss Army before they make humans and Mobians extinct! Right?"
Now, admittedly, while the diagram was impressive, it looked like it was partially made by a child. First in the middle, written in Kanji, we see the word "Kyoryuger" on top of the English variation of "vs" with the Kanji for "Deboss" underneath that. On the upper part, above the term "Kyoryuger," were drawn helmets of all the Kyoryugers to that point (being from left to right and from top row to bottom, Cyan, Black, Blue, Red, Pink, Green, Yellow, Crimson, Aqua, Orange and Magenta) along with images of the various Zyudenryu drawn pretty close to scale (Only those belonging to the aforementioned Kyoryugers). Also seen are the small pictures that are depicted of various other Zyudenryu symbols (the four remaining of the 10 Great Zyudenryu and the Guardians). And it also showed Torin in the upper right-hand corner. Just below the main Kyoryugers, are four of the Guardian Kyoryugers, the kanji for "semi-active" written below them, and to the left of Magenta's helmet was the kanji for "undecided". Then, underneath the word "Deboss" were a couple Zorima on the sides of all the known members of the Deboss Army: Dogold, Aigaron, Canderilla, PinkShocker, and Luckyuro.
"Extremely simplified, but correct," Torin admitted.
"Wow! Those are Ian and Star, right?" Akiza asked pointing to both Cyan's and Magenta's helmets. "How cute!"
"Speaking of which, where is your boyfriend, Akiza?" Rouge asked.
"... Actually, now that you bring it up, I haven't seen Star all day. I think he might be tied up back at the orphanage."
"I see…" Jet nodded as Sonic just chuckled.
"That aside, I can't wait to meet our other predecessors, the rest of the Guardian Kyoryugers, and their Zyudenryu," Sonic smiled looking at the little amber pendant he was wearing around his neck.
"Oh… that's the memento your father gave you?" Jet asked Sonic seeing the little item in question.
"Yeah! It helps guide me down the road called life," Sonic confirmed.
"Like Star with his blanket." Akiza added. Before looking a little closer at the stone, reminding her of Star's stone that Blaze gave him for his birthday.
'It's a bit like...' Rouge thought before realizing what the amber reminded her of. 'The ancient artifact that Jade and I found...'
At that, she thought back to the day when Jade was killed; the figure in the cloak, whom Rouge figured to be Doronbus back from a while back, showed that he stole an artifact that looked like a piece of amber before threatening Rouge with Jade as a hostage. Then, back in reality, Rouge smiled as she had an idea.
"Could you let me borrow that pendant for a bit? For my research," Rouge requested.
"Uh? Oh, well, it's no Chaos Emerald, but… Yeah, sure!" Sonic replied, handing the item to Rouge after she and the other Kyoryugers nearly lost their balance at the sound of what Sonic said.
"Talk about easy…" Rouge muttered as the others regained themselves.
"Are you sure about that?" Takeshi asked Sonic.
"Seriously?" Jet added.
"You know, most people try a bit harder to hold onto something this important," Rouge figured.
"You know, Star once gave me something important…" Akiza began.
"What was that?" Sonic asked.
"His heart…" Akiza replied.
"So, did your dad leave you anything else?" Rouge asked Sonic.
"His goodbye note and his old gear should be in my bag," Sonic figured with a smile and reaching for his shoulder instinctively as if he still had his bag before he realized there was nothing there and…
His thoughts went back to Bahia where he first fought Gabutyra, and then, he remembered something important! His stuff was still on the island, considering the fact he literally jumped at the call to be a hero, he left most of his belongings back at the island…
"Wait, my bag… I left it on the island!" he gasped, finally starting to show a look of panic amidst his usual coolness, and making the others gasp in unison… aside from Torin.
Back in the Frozen Castle, the knights were waiting to be selected by Deboss for who should go next, and the choice this time was… Dogold. His Debo Monster soon formed before them in a blast and orb of lightning. This guy looked like a walking yaki pan or iron with blocky arms with pistons on the upper arms, silver legs that went through turkey baster squeezers on his calves and shins, while his face was silver with a sharp-toothed mouth, and eyes that were made of black and yellow fishes, with the eyes of the fish being his eyes.
"SIZZLE!" he screamed, his iron body becoming literally red hot for a moment before cooling off and posing. "Debo Yakigonte!"
"Is he one of Dogold's monsters?" Aigaron checked to be sure.
"Ha! So how do you make humans and Mobians mad?" Luckyuro asked Yakigonte.
"Like this. Sizzle! ZORIMA!" he called out, bringing one of the grunts in question over as he turned his hands into glove-like irons similar to those used in cooking takoyaki and other types of the food. "SIZZLE!"
If the Zorima could gasp, it would've. Instead, it just made it's usually un-distinguishable sound as Yakigonte clapped his hands tightly over the Zorima's head, steam coming out of the crack. When he let go, the Zorima was somehow a perfect physical copy of the real Luckyuro.
"Lucky!" Zorima-Luckyuro laughed, making Luckyuro gawk at the scenario.
"EH?! Another me?!" Luckyuro gasped.
"So there are two of you now? Interesting," PinkShocker said.
"... And?" Luckyuro asked.
"Nothing much… Why do you ask?" PinkShocker asked.
The other members of the Deboss Army sighed annoyed.
"For a Romance Knight, she sure is oblivious…" Lord Chaos muttered.
"True," Deboss replied from the red Chaos Emerald.
"Anyway, Luckyuro, I have a special assignment for you," Lord Chaos began. "You need to go to Spagonia to go and find this gemstone," he said, showing a picture is a diamond-cut silver gemstone.
"Okay!" Luckyuro replied zooming off.
Back on Bahia, Torin and Sonic hovered down from one or Torin's portal in about the same place Sonic was when they first left.
"I'll go see how Gabutyra is doing," Torin told Sonic.
"Cool. I'll catch up once I've grabbed my bag!" Sonic replied. "Seeya then."
With that, the hedgehog zoomed off in his blue blur form to search for the items in question.
"A fang… or maybe a claw?" Rouge pondered as she used Mobuckle to scan information about the amber Sonic had, in particular the sharp fossil within the item, while sitting down at a restaurant/coffee shop.
"What do you mean? What's your problem with me?" Rouge heard a woman scream to a man at the same table across from the bat.
"Oh dear. Am I being forced to witness a romantic meltdown?" Rouge wondered as the man in the argument answered with…
"You bore me to death, you know that?"
Rouge just shrugged at that saying, "What a mess…"
"I dare you to say that again!" the woman snapped, grabbing the man by his jacket and making them stand up, getting everyone's attention.
"You're so obnoxious!" the man snapped, forcing the woman off as he ran down the stairs, with… the same guy walking up the same set of stairs at… the same time… what?
Anyway, man #1 just looked and smirked at man #2 as he walked down while man #2 looked at man #1 in confusion.
"Hold it right there!" the woman snapped, having followed the first man and thinking the second man on the stairs was the one she snapped at before forcing him against a nearby wall. "What's the big idea?!"
"What're you talking about? What…" the man gawked as Rouge looked down at the predicament after hearing a hand slap skin, suspecting something in particular.
"Don't give me that!" Rouge heard the woman snap before running off after the first man who met up with Debo Yakigonte before transforming into a Zorima, revealing that this was part of the monster's plot.
"SIZZLING! I can feel the anger sizzling!" Yakigonte "smiled." "The rage is on the rise!"
However, it wasn't long until Rouge showed up, getting the attention of the Debo Monsters. Rouge then activated the phone feature on her Mobuckle to contact the other Kyoryugers that were regularly active.
"Minna, I've got a Debo Monster here," she informed.
Almost instantly, the other three (Akiza, Jet, and Takeshi) came running, inserting their Zyudenshi into their Gaburevolvers.

"Aw, mou! And neither King or Star-kun are around!" Akiza groaned before the four prepared their Gaburevolvers while still running.
"Kyoryu Change! Fire!"
And so, they quickly transformed into Kyoryus Pink, Green, and Blue to join up with the already henshined Kyoryu Black. At that moment, said Kyoryuger was chasing a seemingly fleeing Yakigonte and his few Zorima.
"Hold it!" Rouge shouted as Yakigonte and his Zorima seemed to jump over a rail, with the Debo Monster shouting "Sizzle sizzle!" and running under another structure in hopes of losing Black.
Somehow, they ran by some pillars and under some stairs, and they were able to somehow vanish, having escaped Black, making her confusion.
"You okay, Rouge?" she heard Pink's voice call out as Black turn to see the three Kyoryugers arriving.
"Yeah. All the guy did was run off," Black confirmed. "He has to be somewhere around here, so be careful."
"Right," the others nodded as Blue seemed to be randomly looking around.
"Let's split up and look for him," Green suggested as the team did so agreeing.
On a walkway above the Kyoryugers, Dogold and Yakigonte just watched, but Dogold was irritated by a couple things missing.
"No Guardians, and no Kyoryu Red?!" Dogold responded. "Haratadashi!"
"Well, we'll start with them," Yakigonte figured, referring to the other four down below, turning to the four Zorima behind them and preparing his hands to activate his copying powers. "Here… sizzle!"
Clamping on the first Zorima's head, he turned it into a clone of Kyoryu Black. He then repeated the process with the other three with Dogold watching, and turning the last three Zorima into the remaining Kyoryugers.
Meanwhile, over in Spagonia, Luckyuro simply walked in the streets, looking around the city for a particular jewelry store that had the item he was looking for.
"If this doesn't impress Shocky-chan, I don't know what will…" Luckyuro said aloud. "How'd that Kyoryu boy get a girl to fall for him anyway? Wait, what was his color… oh yeah, good ol' Magenta."
Back with Star, he was cleaning dishes when his nose felt ticklish, he reared his head back and…
"Ah-Ah-Ah… ACHOO!" he sneezed, right into the water of the dirty dishes, somehow splashing his face with some of said water.
"Star-kun?" Rock said walking in, handing him a tissue. "Here."
"Thanks… but still, can't help but wonder how the others are doing though…" Star comments to himself.
"How he got that Pinky to fall for him, I will never know…" he said annoyed, before finally finding the area, assuming his disguise of Dai to walk over unnoticed.
He walked over and opened the door to the store, and saw the silver gemstone.
"Looks similar to that gemstone I gave to Chaos-sama just after we woke up in this time period." Dai then walked over to the cashier, showing him the gemstone. "Tell me about this gem here."
"Ah yes, one of the seven Chaos Emeralds, alone they can turn thoughts into power, and collecting seven, will create a miracle," the cashier explained.
"Oh… that sounds cool. Mind if I give you something for it?" Dai asked, confusing the cashier before… "SMOKE BOMB!"
With that, Dai threw down an actual smoke bomb, blinding the cashier as Luckyuro returned to normal and snagged the emerald.
However unknown to the semi-Debo General, Ian saw him run off. 'May be low on energy, I can still henshin.'
"Brave In! Spirit Ranger, Fire!"
=AN~KYDON!=
"COME BACK HERE!" Cyan shouted, chasing after Luckyuro.
"AH! Kyoryu Cyan?! Unlucky!" the spy screamed running away.
It seemed to be easy. Cyan followed Luckyuro down a very straight path when suddenly, Luckyuro made a sudden turn. Cyan turned the corner only to find out that there wasn't anyone there.
"Where'd he go?" the Spirit Ranger wondered, he then reverted back to normal. "What would he want with that?" he pondered aloud.
Back in Japan, Kyoryu Blue was have equal difficulty tracking down Debo Yakigonte when Kyoryu Green ran up from behind.
"Oh, Jet!" Blue responded seeing his fellow Kyoryuger arrive. "Did you find him? ...Where is he? Whoever finds that monster will be the man-star!" then he thought 'Hmm, speaking of which, where is good ol' Magenta.'
"Your old man jokes are inconceivably lame, Nossan," Green informed Blue… ratherly harshly and in a harsh tone.
"Eh?!" Takeshi gasped, feeling like an iron hit his brain saying he was "Super Lame." "What?!"
In another location, ...Green... wait what? Anyway, this Kyoryu Green was peeking around the corner of a pillar when Kyoryu Pink poked her head above him.
"Peeking around corners, Jet-kun?" Pink asked Green, getting his attention and making him stand up. "Y'know there's nothing less cool than a guy who's weak."
"Hey wait," Jet started when he felt his brain was branded with the phrase "So Uncool." "Are you saying I'm uncool and that boyfriend of yours is?! But I'm treating our enemy with due caution, as I should!"
At that point we turn to… Kyoryu Pink? What the what? Umm… anyway… Pink was looking down a stairwell of a building as if hoping to find the Debo Monster down there. However, Black happened to be nearby, staring at her legs and butt as she peeked over… the perv. Black even made it noticeable that she was looking at Pink's booty and legs, making her stop looking down and look at Black.
"What is it, Rouge? Quit staring. I know we're both girls, but with you being bisexual, and with me having a boyfriend, this is getting awkward," Pink pointed out.
"How can you keep that boyfriend when your thighs have gotten flabby, Aki-chan?" Black asked in an insulting voice, somehow burning those words into her head, much to her shock as Black just laughed at the scenario.
"You horrible-!" Pink snapped.
Star, who is currently cleaning up his/Rock's/Kaori's room, he then sneezed again.
"Am I getting sick or something?" he asked himself. "Aki-chan, I really hope I get to see you soon…"
And back with Kyoryu… Black? Okay, wasn't she just with Pink? Erm, anyway, she met up with… Kyoryu BLUE?! Seriously, what on Mobius is going on?!
Eh, er, um… anyway, this Kyoryu Black simply waved at Blue and was about to carry on until the here Blue stopped her.
"Oi!" Blue snapped, getting Black's attention. "I couldn't find the monster! You're just messing with us, aren't you? Honestly… you just can't be trusted!"
Black gasped as the words "Can't Be Trusted" was burned into her brain.
"WHAT?!" she snapped, forcing Blue to look at her.
Back with the… uh… first Kyoryu Blue? Anyway, he was busy chasing the first Kyoryu Green.
"Hang on! Wait up!" Blue shouted as he tried to keep up with Green, with Green telling him "This way!"
Meanwhile… the other Green was chasing Kyoryu Pink as she called him a weakling as she ran off. At the same time… the second Pink was chasing the first Black, who was also taunting her, about her legs and bare feet.
"Achoo!" Pink sneezed, "Eh." she said stopping for a moment.
"Come on, Akiza! Your feet slowing you down? Maybe your boyfriend would hate it if something happened to them!" Black taunted, really getting Akiza angry and forcing her to chase Black once more.
At the same time, the… ano… other Black… chased the… other Blue…
"Get back here!" Black snapped at Blue.
Then finally… all four Kyoryugers met at the place they started at, all arguing with each other about what the others said to them. Mostly with Pink arguing about Black insulting her legs and feet, Black trying to counter Blue for being untrustworthy, Blue begging to know if the others were seriously about his jokes being super lame, and Green demanding why Pink thought of him as a weakling. All of the four were oblivious to Dogold and Yakigonte watching from above.
"SIZZLING! The copies I create read the target's mind, so they can say whatever would make them the angriest! Sizzle," Yakigonte smirked as the… Kyoryugers came up behind the Debo duo, transforming into four Zorima, leaving the authors relieved at finally knowing what was going on while the Knight and Debo Monster looked at the Zorima before looking down at the real Kyoryugers. "Now their teamwork's going to be in shambles! Sizzle!"
"Time to attack," Dogold figured, brandishing his blade and sending an electrical blast down to the four, who stared up only to get hit and forced back and down by the resulting blast.
"What the-?!" Green gawked as he and the others were recovering, only to see Dogold, charging towards them while roaring in his usual rage.
"This is bad! Guys, we need to fight back!" Black shouted to her teammates.
"Do whatever you want!" Pink snapped back at Black before Dogold nearly hit them.
Pink was able to hold back Dogold's blade, but only long enough for the knight to kick her off and into Blue.
"Akiza, are you okay?" Blue gawked seeing she fell to the ground while Dogold slashed at Green.
"What a splendidly sizzling sight!" Yakigonte chuckled from a distance as Luckyuro came to the edge, finished with his task in Spagonia.
"I see now! He was after the Kyoryugers all along," Luckyuro smirked.
"Right! We'll gather their fury, while we crush their team!" Yakigonte confirmed. "We'll kill two birds with one sizzling stone! Oh, and did you get what Chaos-sama requested you to get?"
"Yes I did!" Luckyuro answered, showing the silver Chaos Emerald.
"SIZZLING! Now you know what to do. Get that rock to Chaos-sama while I help Dogold-sama."
Luckyuro sighed and headed back to the Frozen Castle, the room was oddly empty, except for PinkShocker.
"Here." he said, giving her the Chaos Emerald.
"Perfect, Luckyuro-kun. Now we have two of these" she smiled as they looked through a viewing portal showing the battle between the Kyoryugers, Dogold, and Yakigonte who wielding some sort of branding iron as a weapon; needless to say, the Kyoryugers were doing badly.
"Taste my might blade!" Dogold roared. "Ready to Rumblade!
With that roar, Dogold slammed his sword into the ground, sending a massive shockwave at the sentai, and knocking them back into Mobian form.
Finally, back on Bahia, Sonic found the tent he was using before he followed Torin to become a Kyoryuger, and found everything completely intact, including his dad's old gear in his backpack.
"Whew, everything's still fine. What a relief!" Sonic smiled widely before opening the bag and pulling out his dad's farewell letter.
"This will be your guide… with it, you will become a strong man," Sonic heard his dad's voice as he read the letter, and remembered when his dad gave him the letter, and the amber necklace.
"I'm a Kyoryuger now, Dad," Sonic chuckled. "Have I become more like you?"
However, Sonic suddenly heard a strange rumbling sound. And so, Sonic ran off to find the source of the noise, arriving at the base of a cliff. He gasped in shock of seeing a member of the Deboss army, which the readers and authors know as Chaos. For a while, Sonic stared at him until Chaos looked at Sonic before closing the book he had on hand.
"Well, if it isn't Kyoryu Red, Kiryuu Sonic…" Chaos noted.
"Who are you?!" Sonic shouted at the Deboss Army leader.
"I am the voice of Deboss-sama, the Hundred-Faced High Priest, Chaos," the priest answered Sonic's question.
"So you're the enemy boss?!" Sonic figured while backing up a bit. "What are you doing here?!"
However, Chaos refused to answer as he suddenly shot a large and long string of beads from his sleeve before they wrapped tightly around the hedgehog.
"Oh, no!" he gasped, seeing he couldn't break free of the beads, forcing him to simply dodge the blasts that were being fired by Chaos.
This went on for a little bit until… Torin jumped from a nearby cliff and blasted Chaos' attack, preventing it from hitting Sonic as the archaeopteryx landed and broke off the beads from Sonic, freeing him while Chaos gasped at seeing Torin.
"Torin!" Sonic smiled.
"Sonic, leave this one to me and head back. The others are in danger!" Torin informed.
"Nani?! But are you gonna be okay?! This guy's crazy strong!" Sonic pointed out.
"I know," Torin nodded before turning to lock eyes with Chaos. "My conflict with him stretches back farther than you could image. Take care of the others."
Then, with a wave of his hand, Torin whisked Sonic off back to Japan in a flash of blue light. The bird then turned back to Chaos.
"Have at you, Chaos!" Torin exclaimed at the priest.
"Don't make me laugh, Torin," Chaos scoffed. "Without your Zyudenryu or Kyoryugers, you are powerless to fight me."
Tightening his fist in anger, Torin fired the first shot with Chaos launching another attack as well.
Back over with the yellow hedgehog, who's still working, this time organizing a filing cabinet. He ended up reaching "B" when he found his own file, mostly describing what he was like and how he ended up there. He sighed and thought back to that day again.
"Kyoryu… Violet huh? I'll have to thank him if I ever get a chance to see him…" Star muttered.
Back with Star's girlfriend, Akiza was arguing a bit more with Souji and Takeshi, all in Mobian form.
"Not you too, Jet-kun!" Akiza whined.
"Don't worry about that jerk!" Takeshi replied, shoving the bird.
"What did I do exactly?!" Jet demanded as the three were unaware of Sonic having arrived back. "Seriously, Akiza. Do you really-"
"Get lost!" Takeshi snapped.
"You guys okay?" Sonic asked, dashing over, but the three were still bickering with one another, making Sonic sigh before he noticed Rouge, also in Mobian form. "Oi, Rouge!"
What seemed odd was Rouge happened to limp over towards Sonic while he nearly dashed over to her.
"What's with them?" Sonic asked. "I heard you were fighting a bad guy. So why's everybody just all mad and arguing?"
"Well, you see…" Rouge started as she looked at their teammates before turning to Sonic. "It's your fault."
"Eh?" Sonic gawked in confusion.
"You're never around when we need you. It's all your fault," Rouge clarified what she said. "You're a complete moron!"
Then, Rouge took Sonic's pendant and tossed it into the air before pulling out her Gaburelvover and firing it, shattering the pendant to pieces, making everyone there stop their arguing and gasp at what Rouge had done. In this state, Sonic gasped as he got down to examine the remains of the pendant, seeing it was beyond repair. Sonic even clinched his fist around some of the pieces as Akiza, Jet, and Takeshi rushed over towards Rouge.
Nearby, they were being watched by Dogold and Yakigonte, the latter seeming to squirm, indicating he was holding on to something or someone.
"Sizzle… now Kyoryu Red will be consumed by fury, too! Their friendship will be in ruins!" Yakigonte chuckled quietly, as we turn to see the Debo Monster was actually hanging on to the real Rouge, covering her mouth to prevent her from speaking.
"How could you do that, Rouge?!" Akiza snapped at "Rouge".
"That's beyond cruel!" Jet added, agreeing with Akiza.
"Why do you think I wanted to pendant in the first place? I intended to break it, sooner or later," "Rouge" shrugged before looking down at Sonic, who was still in shock of what happened. "I truly hate you. An idiot like you is a pathetic excuse for a leader!"
With that, "Atrocious Leader" was suddenly branded into Sonic's head as Rouge struggled to try and tell Sonic not to fall for it.
Meanwhile, back at the orphanage, Star finally finished, and headed up to his room for a much needed break.
"Wait a minute there, Star!" he heard a voice respond as Star groaned and turned to see Ms. Amelia stopping him at the stairs.
"What?" he asked in an annoyed tone.
"I saw you doing such hard work today, even doing Rock's and Kaori's chores for them…" Amelia answered with a stern look before, for the first time in years, it softened up into a smile, which Star saw as nothing more than… awkward... "That's very generous of you, and I'm proud of you for doing it."
"... Um, thanks. I think," Star replied.
"I apologize for my behavior, I just had to make sure you were disciplined enough to be the adult of the place while I was out. With this good behavior of yours, Star… I'll let you and your friends venture out of the orphanage more often," Amelia added, shocking Star to the point that he had to clean his ears, thinking he misheard her.
"Wait… are you saying that if I sneak out again, you won't send me to another orphanage?" Star asked.
"No, that's remaining firm," Amelia corrected. "What I'm saying is, if you ask me for permission from now on or in advance, then I won't mind. But today, I insist you go out to take a break."
Star smiled, going upstairs to go and get Rock and Kaori; he took a few things for himself, mostly his Shocker Rush mangas, his blanket, and a bit of money. Rock simply took a small total of money, and what appears to be a green gemstone… while Kaori also took some money, and a fashion book to read.
Soon the three were outside, Rock and Kaori more or less joyful to be out with Star, and not getting in trouble for it. The trio arrived at a candy store, they got a few sweets, and then they left the candy store with only about, thirty yen spent.
The three arrived at a restaurant, it was more or less a typical fast food place, they each ordered some food and began to eat, when Akiza shows up, wait...
"That's it! The words are burnt into him! Now get angry!" Yakigonte whispered with a smirk on his face when "Rouge" said the right words.
'King!' Rouge responded in her head as they watched Sonic's reaction to what happened, starting with a tightening of his fist.
"Well? Nothing to say for yourself?" "Rouge" taunted as Sonic slammed his hands on the ground with a roar.
"Unforgivable!" Sonic snapped, getting up and into "Rouge's" face.
"Yes!" Yakigonte whispered with delight.
"You're right… I'm not fit to be leader… I just can't forgive myself!" Sonic responded, making the others, including Yakigonte, gasp at how Sonic can act like that.
"What are you talking about, King? This jerk just shot up your precious memento!" Takeshi pointed out as Sonic started to look more upset than angry.
"She knew how much it meant to me," Sonic informed the others. "Rouge just wouldn't do something like that unless she had a really good reason."
The real Rouge, meanwhile, widened her eyes for a moment, realizing that Sonic was somewhat immune to the effects of Yakigonte.
"But I can't figure it out!" Sonic responded, ruffling his quills, upset before sitting down. "It's really pathetic!"
Now, Sonic was on the verge of crying, which was NOT what Yakigonte was after.
"What… what kind of idiot would care about that?!" Yakigonte gawked, still in a whisper before whispering orders to the doppelganger. "Go, imposter! Let him sizzle more!"
"Hey Aki-chan!" Star said happily.
She took a seat next to Rock and Star she simply watched him for a moment, Star not noticing anything off.
"So, you snuck out again?" she asked.
"Nope! Ms. Amelia gave me, Rock-kun and Kaori-chan the chance to go out today." Star told "Akiza".
She simply rolled her eyes.
"So, where are the others?" Star inquired.
"We've been talking…" "Akiza" began. "and we've said that you're not all that brave." she added.
"Wait… what?" Star asked.
"You're too young for one thing. And you're scared, too scared of other people," "Akiza" pointed out.
"Um, Aki-chan, I'm one year younger than you."
"Well you haven't experienced much having just turned 13. Besides… most of the time, you just focus on your manga and games. Sounds like you're a worthless otaku,"
Rock and Kaori exchanged an odd look on that term.
"What? A geek? A nerd? ...But I'm not one of those!" Star responded, partially explaining what an otaku was to Rock and Kaori.
"Aside from that, you don't really know what the world is like, you've grown up in an orphanage. Plus, there's two other things wrong with you!" "Akiza" said.
Rock watched in confusion, while Kaori simply rolled her eyes.
"Well, what are those, two other things wrong with me? Huh?" Star asked.
"Your obsession with girls' feet and that ridiculous pink blanket of yours!" she concluded.
"Ohhhh, burn." Rock said.
"There's a difference between pink and magenta." Star added.
"Akiza" groaned, and then took the blanket from Star's pocket. She then held it near the middle, and looked like she was gonna tear it.
"You wouldn't DARE!" Star snapped before…
"Akiza" tore the blanket in half, much to Star's horror. Then, "Akiza" ripped it again, before letting it drop into the dirt of a plant nearby.
"Oops! It's broken and filthy," "Akiza" noted. "Admit it. You're nothing but a crybaby!"
This branded the word "Crybaby" into Star's mind. Tears began to form in his eyes, as he fell from the chair and onto his knees. Rock and Kaori simply watched this happen, seeing their older brother in a way they've never seen him before...
"Why, Aki-chan? You're my girlfriend, why?!"
"You need to learn to grow up, crybaby," "Akiza" answered, despite seeing Star crying as she took her leave. Then, to add insult to injury, she turns around and adds "We're breaking up, Star."
Star continued to cry as Rock approached his brother and Kaori took the remains of his blanket.
"Sorry, Star… we didn't mean of this to happen," Rock apologized as they were about to leave.
Suddenly, in his saddened state, Star ran off ahead of Rock and Kaori, the two rushing off after him. Star then rushed so far ahead of Rock and Kaori, that they seemed to lose him as Star found his way back to the Spirit Base where he continued to cry. But soon he noticed that Rock and Kaori were there too, because of some type of bravery they had.
"What's wrong, Star?" a voice asked, making Star look up and see someone he didn't expect to see…
"Mirai?" Star gawked.
"I've had enough of your pretending to be your friend! And your stupid father complex!" "Rouge" retorted to the crying Sonic, branding "Father Complex" into his mind, and causing Sonic to stop crying.
"Well, yeah… I guess I really do love my Dad," Sonic figured, not getting what "Rouge" was trying to say to him completely before standing up. "But more importantly… Rouge, you gotta tell me! What am I doing wrong?"
"What's wrong with that guy?!" Yakigonte snapped out loud, accidentally letting Rouge go, revealing she was tied up, explaining why she couldn't bust out before, and revealing his hiding spot to the rest of the Kyoryugers.
Yakigonte gasped at the mistake he made as Jet drew his Gabureolver and fired at both Yakigonte and Rouge's bonds, forcing the monster back and allowing the bat to escape with Yakigonte and Dogold gawking at what happened. Rouge then rolled away and fired at her doppelganger knocking "her" to the ground before it turned back into a Zorima as it dissipated into a mist, along with the remains of Sonic's pendant.
"Huh? What's going on?" Sonic asked, looking to Rouge, who simply held up Sonic's pendant.
"Here you go! Proof that I'm the real deal," Rouge smiled as the others rushed over with the bat handing Sonic his pendant back, as said hedgehog put the pendant back on, before explaining what happened. "That monster can turn Zorima into Doppelgangers, which he used to anger us."
"Sizzle…" Yakigonte growled.
"Looks like your plan didn't work out," Rouge chuckled with a twirl of her Gaburevolver. "This guy's faith in his friends is perfectly idiotic. You could say that Kiryuu Sonic is the King of Idiocy."
"Aw, c'mon, Rouge, you're makin' me blush," Sonic chuckled.
The others facepalmed.
"That's not a compliment!" Takeshi, Jet, and Akiza snapped.
"Oh, really?" Sonic gawked before shrugging it off with a chuckle. "Well, whatever! You gotta believe in your friends! That's how a Sentai works! Let's do it guys!"
"First time without Stary-kun in a while. Anyway, ikuze!" Akiza added.
"Right," the others nodded, getting into position.
"Brave In!"

"Kyoryu Change! FIRE!"
Then, Dogold and Yakigonte stared down the five.
"A whole sizzling set of 'em!" Yakigonte gawked.
"Hear our roar! Kiba no Yuusha! Kyoryu Red!"
"Dangan no Yuusha! Kyoryu Black!"
"Yoroi no Yuusha! Kyoryu Blue!"
"Zangeki no Yuusha! Kyoryu Green!"
"Tsuno no Yuusha! Kyoryu Pink!"
"The strongest and bravest in history! Zyuden Sentai… KYORYUGER!"
"It's gonna get wild! So try and stop us if you can!"
"You useless idiot!" Dogold snapped, kicking Yakigonte aside. "I'm not gonna stop until I cut them all to ribbons!"
Then, with a jump and roar, ready to cleave one of the Kyoryugers in two, when…
"ARMED ON!" Sonic shouted, executing the tactic.

Then, Sonic blocked Dogold's strike with his Gabutyra fang as the Rageful Knight forced Red away from the others, leaving the other four to fend for themselves amidst a pack of Zorima. Dogold seemed to have Red down until a kick allowed Red enough time to stand up.
"That was some sneaky stuff! Afraid of a direct fight?" Red taunted Dogold.
"Shut up! You're ticking me off!" Dogold snapped as he forced Sonic further from the others.
"Sizzle! Sizzle! Sizzle! Sizzle!" Yakigonte smirked, creating more doppelgangers of Kyoryus Black, Blue, Green, and Pink. "Now they won't be able to tell who's who! Go confuse 'em!"
And so, the Doppelgangers charged in, attacking the Kyoryugers while they tried to fend off both the doppelgangers and the Zorima. One instance showed Blue attacking Zorima before the Green doppelganger apepared in front of him, making Blue drop his guard before getting punched in the nose. At the same time, Pink kicked more Zorima aside before the Black clone tried to hit her, and Green had to deal with the fake Pink.
"This is a real handful," Black groaned before finally putting her 100% accuracy to the test.
And so, Black seemed to blast every single one of the Zorima with ease before blasting the other Black, and the others, leaving the real Kyoryugers standing in confusion.
"Minna, please take note of the little gifts I gave to the genuine articles," Black replied, pointing to a small daisy held to her belt near her Mobuckle; a good look showed that those standing had identical flowers on the other real Kyoryugers' belts as well.
"Wow! When you do that?" Pink gawked.
"Nice one!" Green smirked under his helmet.
"Well done, Rouge," Blue smiled. "Yosh, time for payback!"
"Yeah/Right!" the others nodded, each turning towards the color doppelganger that tricked them earlier and…

"Armed On!" they shouted activating said weapons.
=MECCHA MUCHO!=
Then, one slash with each of the weapons forced the Doppelgangers together before reverting to Zorima, collapsing, and disappearing into a mist that vanished, with each of the real Kyoryugers smiling/smirking at this small victory.
"Onore!" Yakigonte snapped as the Kyoryugers took the flowers out of their belts.
"Seiya," Rouge replied as all four tossed the flowers, seeing as they served their purpose.
"Sizzle sizzle!" Yakigonte snapped, sending a flame blast from his iron towards the group, only to have it held back by Blue, and…
"Stego Shield!" he shouted, forcing the blast away, and shattering it.
"What the sizz?!" Yakigonte gawked before looking up and…
"Dricera Lance/Zakutor Slasher!" Pink and Green shouted, landing their blows onto the Debo Monster before making room for Black to aim her gun as Blue copied her movements with his other hand.
"Parasa Shot!" Black muttered before firing her weapon, sending two blasts at Yakigonte that made him hit the ground.
"Ow, that sizzles me…" the monster snapped.
"Nice!" Pink smiled.
"King, use Kentrospiker!" Black called to their teammate, who was still fighting Dogold.
"Alright!" Red nodded, moving Dogold's weapon away and kicking him further back. "Brave In!"

"Kentrospiker!" the other four shouted before launching Red into the air to grab the weapon and…
"Zyuden Brave Finish!" Red finsihed, grabbing the weapon as it flew towards Yakigonte.
=ZUBABAAAAAAN!=
"SIZZLE!" Yakigonte screamed as he was hit and Red landed back with his team. "Si...zzle!"
With that, Yakigonte collapsed and exploded in defeat.
"Now that was brave!" Red cheered as the team posed.
Back over at the Spirit Base, young Star was crying his heart out, as Rock and Kaori explained what happened to Mirai.
"... and then we arrived here," Rock concluded.
"Harsh… why would Aki-nee do something like that?" Mirai asked.
"Who knows… all I know, is when I see her again, I'm giving her a piece of my mind!" Rock stated, clenching his hand.
"Rock-kun, hold on. Mirai, did Akiza ever ask you about what you thought of Star's bravery?" Kaori asked Mirai
"She did once, and I said he was really brave," Mirai replied.
"Guess the other Kyoryugers don't think so," Rock added.
"You okay, Star?" Mirai asked walking over to the yellow hedgehog.
"My… my heart's been… sh-shattered… i-into… a million… p-p-p-pieces," Star tearfully answered, still crying away. "I think I even heard it shatter earlier."
"C'mon, Star, chill out. Kaori and I've never seen you act like this before," Rock replied, trying to comfort Star.
"Y-y-you guys… just don't get it… d-d-do you?" Star began. "Akiza, she… she was my first love… I-I-I-'ll never find… anyone like her… ever again!" he concluded.
"Well… I don't mean to be rude or anything, but, I hope this doesn't affect your choice to be active or semi-active," Mirai added.
Star simply nodded no. 'First, I loose my parents… then I nearly lost my best friends… but now I've lost my last connection to my parents… and my girlfriend… she's right…'
"I'm not brave… I'm just a crybaby," Star says aloud, pulling his hood over his head, the shadow covering up his face, save for his eyes, with a few more tears starting to drip.
Back on Bahia, the wind blowing through Torin's white feathers informed him about the battle, stalling him only a second before, at the same speed of Sonic, flew over Chaos' attack, leaving only explosions where he stood in their place.
"Sonic and the others have defeated your monster," Torin announced.
"Perhaps. But it won't affect my agenda…" Chaos replied, opening his book again and chanting a spell, causing a dark mist to appear from the book and enter the volcano on Bahia, making Torin gasp as the volcano started to rumble.
"No… you intend to undo the seal?!" Torin gawked.
"Sizzle! Sizzle!" Yakigonte exclaimed as he was revived with a little help from Luckyuro and his "Sukusuku Joyro."
"Good work, Luckyuro," Dogold complimented, bopping his sword into Luckyuro's gut, making him buckle over for a second.
"King, we need Kyoryuzin!" Black informed. "With the Guardians, save for Magenta, on semi-active duty, we can't rely on Alloryuzin."
"Well, I'd be glad to help out, Rouge, but Gabutyra's kinda busy," Red pointed out, making the others gasp before a horde of Zorima piled on top of each other, merging together forming their giant 80's T-rex look.
"Sizzle!" Yakigonte shouted, slamming his hands onto the Giant Zorima, making it into the last person Dogold expected to see… himself.
"It turned into me?!" Dogold gawked before the giant Dogold slammed his blade into the ground, which the other Kyoryugers managed to dodge.
Back on Bahia, the volcano erupted with smoke and flames as a screeching was heard. Inside was a gold, black, and light blue Pteranodon who caused the noise a visor he wore shined purple. Then, with a final eruption, the Zyudenryu burst out, flying into the air.
"Ah! Pteragordon!" Torin gasped, seeing the Pterosaur Zyudenryu screech and fly overhead alongside Gabutyra. "The attack was simply to keep the Kyoryugers distracted while you seized Pteragordon!"
"Precisely," Chaos confirmed. "The mightiest Zyudenryu, once sealed away… and now ours."
Torin then tried to send one more attack at Chaos, but it was blocked by Pteragordon's wing, causing a blinding explosion that made Torin cover his eyes. And then next time he looked, Chaos was gone before turning around and seeing Pteragordon flying off. Gabutyra just walked up to Torin and roared as if saying something.
"For now, you should save Sonic and the others!" Torin responded, making Gabutyra make the big leap all the way back to Japan, in time for the fight.
Torin then noticed something red and glowing. He picked it up and teleports back to the Spirit Base, but when he showed up, it shattered.
"A fake?" he gasped.
Finally, Gabutyra landed back in Japan, alerting the Kyoryugers to his presence.
"Oh! You kept us waiting, Gabutyra! Time for a kamitsuki gattai!" Red shouted. "Brave In! Here you go!"
And so, Red launched the activated Zyudenshi to Gabutyra, who chomped on it, already set for the gattai.

And so, Stegotchi and Dricera arrived, ready to go as they opened their mouth and got into position.

"Sizzle!" Yakigonte shouted, forcing the face of his iron into Kyoryuzin, branding a mark on the chest and seemingly doing nothing until Giant-Dogold came and slashed the mecha in the back, making the Kyoryugers react in pain like they got hit there.
Suddenly, Red's Mobuckle rang, causing the senshi to answer the call, which happened to be from Torin.
"Torin!" Red responded.
-Use Zyudenshi #17, Ovirappoo!" Torin ordered. "It'll emit a potent noxious gas from Gabutyra's buttocks!-
"Did… did he just say what I thought he said?" Pink gawked, hoping she was hearing things.
"And in that cool baritone, too!" Blue nodded in equal surprise, while Sonic seemed oblivious as to why they were surprised.
"So, like, you're talking about a fart, right?" Red checked with Torin.
"Exactly! It's Zyudenryu is a fart gun anyway," Torin confirmed. "You must bravely let one rip!"
"Yosh! Brave In!" Sonic shouted, revealing a vermillion Zyudenshi with the number 17 and an oviraptor on it, activating said Zyudenshi, and launching it outside of Kyoryuzin causing it to grow and be inserted into Gabutyra's jaws.

When the Zyudenshi was activated through Gabutyra, the T-Rex Zyudenryu suddenly farted right in the Giant Dogold's face. With that giant distracted, Kyoryuzin turned so Gabutrya's butt was closer to Yakigonte's face next, and…

With the gas released upon Yakigonte, he began waving his arms francitcally to get rid of the gas as it seemed to sting his eyes along with irritate his nose.
"It might have a silly name, but that's one nasty move," Black coughed, trying to get the stench out of her nose.
"Man, that stinks!" Blue agreed as Pink and Green tried to get the smell away from them, but Red seemed a-okay.
"Yosh, let's finish it!" Red smirked.
"Wha? ...You're merciless, King," Blue noted.
"Come on, Ankydon! Brave In!" Red shouted, activated the cyan Zyudenshi while the ankylosaur came running as fast as he could.
The jingle started again as Stegotchi detached himself from Kyoryuzin as Ankydon prepared to take his place.

=KYORYUZIN MACHO! MUCHA MUKKI!=
Then, the Kyoryugers moved as if pounding someone on the head while Kyoryuzin Macho followed suit, bashing his hammer onto the Giant Dogold, reverting it to the Giant Zorima. Suddenly, the mecha drilled right through the Zorima, the sharper end coming out the other side before the mech pulled out hard, creating sparks on the giant as it quickly melted into nothing.
"Kyoryuzin Macho Brave Finish!" the five within the mecha roared as they executed the move they used with this combo a while back, which basically sent Yakigonte up into the air before exploding in defeat.
Later that day the five member of the team approached the Spirit Base entrance, and teleported inside. When they did, a sonic-sound wave began to roar, as they all covered their ears.
"What's going on?!" Jet yelled.
"Don't know! We might be under attack!" Sonic replied.
Soon the screech stopped, everyone looks up to see the cause of it was Rock.
"What was that for?" Sonic asked, as Rock walked over.
"Sorry about that, sorry about that, sorry about that, sorry about that, NOT sorry about that!" Rock said to the team, first Sonic, then Jet, followed by Takeshi, then Rouge and lastly Akiza.
"Just what's going on here?" Akiza asked before looking to see her adoptive sister. "Mirai-nee-chan?"
"What's your deal, nee-chan?" Mirai demanded.
"What're you talking about?" Akiza gawked.
"You know what I'm talking about. Shattering Star-kun's heart like a vase!" Mirai replied.
"Um, I've been out most of today, so, again what are you talking about?" Akiza asked again.
"You know what we're talking about. You insulted Onii-chan to the point you broke his heart!" Rock snapped.
"You even tore up his favorite blanket," Kaori added with a frown, showing what was left of said blanket.
"Wha-? Oh wait a minute… I think I know what's going on," Akiza realized as she walked over to Star, who finally removed his hood. "Star, you should know I would never say such things to anyone, not even my friends, let alone my boyfriend."
"Then how do you explain what happened earl-" Star started before…
"A Debo Monster was responsible," Akiza answered.
"A likely story, Aki-liar!" Rock yelled.
"Sure. Star knows what could happen as a Kyoryuger, and it was no doubt a Debo Monster. He transformed some grunts into copies of Rouge-tachi and me to get us angry and hate each other. So it's likely he created a clone of me to make sure Star would get angry at me, only it backfired," Akiza explained.
"I never felt anger, only sadness…" Star said. "I'm such an idiot to think that the greatest girl in the world would betray me…"
"Maybe, but you're my idiot, Starry-kun," Akiza smiled kneeling to his level, but not before showing off a bare foot of hers for Star, which he sniffed for a second and then with a smile started to massage it. "You're my boyfriend, Star, and the only one I'd ever want. So don't let anyone talk you into thinking that's not what I think. Okay?"
One final tear drops from his eye, before he wipes away the sadness, a smile on his face, he gave Akiza on quick hug.
"Okay, Aki-chan…" he smiled before they kissed each other; she then slipped him a little gift, without him knowing.
"I sure hope he'll remain happy with her," Mirai smiled. "Regardless of his choice of how active he'll be as a Kyoryuger."
"Yea," Sonic nodded before pulling out and staring at his pendant. "So can I have my pendant back, Rouge?"
"Yeah. I've got all the data I need," Rouge nodded as Sonic continued to stare at the piece of amber. "Still, it looks like your old man was really something. I'll keep looking into it, anyway."
"Let me know if you find anything out," Sonic requested.
"Right."
"I guess we're all walking the path of the great lizards! Some of us are just finding different routes on that path."
"Still… because of this last predicament, we all know what everybody here is sensitive about…" Takeshi pointed out, scratching his head nervously.
"Star's nervous about his emotions anyway." Rock added.
"Let's leave that between us," Takeshi suggested, getting nods from the others. "I just hope we don't get into situations like that again, with my getting upset about how people think of my jokes, Jet complaining about being weak, Rouge not being trusted, I'm assuming Star losing something important to him, and Akiza her… um… leg issue."
"I'm not sensitive about my legs!" Akiza snapped.
"Besides, one of us wasn't even bothered!" Jet added.
"Technically two, I've been here a while," Mirai added.
"Huh? Well who else are you talking about?" Sonic asked, oblivious to what the others know again while Torin thought about what happened earlier on Bahia.
'How could we allow Pteragordon to be stolen…' Torin wondered. 'Our only saving grace is that he needs a Kyoryuger to use his full power…'
"What would that Debo Monster want with a Chaos Emerald?" Ian pondered aloud, wandering the streets of Spagonia, with police all around the jewelry store, with no clues.
Ian sighed at the sight and then saw Ankydon's Zyudenshi react to something, he ran off, running on the rooftops, and then right by the Gaia Temple, he found something.
"Zyudenryu," he stated with an American accent. "of Igerandon…"
Sure enough, despite being half-buried, the iguanodon Guardian Zyudenryu was there. Sensing Ian, the Zyudenryu's eyes flashed before roaring.
Back in the Frozen Castle, the knights simply witness the destruction of Yakigonte and his doppelganger creations.
"I can't believe he got beaten so badly, and with my face!" Dogold roared. "Haratadashi!"

With that, Chaos motioned his hand to PinkShocker, who handed him the silver Chaos Emerald before placing it next to the red one as they glowed in sync. Then, Chaos pulled out the black and gold Zyudenshi with the number 6 showing the Pteranodon. While the Chaos Emeralds made the knights cheer in victory (minus Dogold), the sight of the Zyudenshi made them all gasp.
"Now way! Isn't that one of the Kyoryuger's…" Aigaron started, the most surprised to see the item.
"So, what'll that do for us? Don't they only work for those Kyoryu-Pests?" PinkShocker asked confused.
"Let its power be as your own, Dogold," Chaos replied, handing it to the knight of rage, who simply swiped it.
"I refuse to use the same tactics as some stupid Mobian…" Dogold started with a growl, until he activated the Zyudenshi somehow, revealing a purple silhouette of the Pteranodon with purple spark over a light purple background instead of the gold Pteranodon; on top of those was the Deboss symbol.
This sudden revelation made all of the knight and Luckyuro gasp in surprise that Dogold used it while the knight of rage just stared at the Zyudenshi, pondering why it's so familiar, with Chaos smirking while Dogold just stared at the Zyudenshi.

Pikatwig: Another Brave done. So, what'd you think of how things have been going for Star?
KKD: I have to say, Star's been having it rough lately. First PinkShocker's first monster turns Star's closest friends against him, and now this? Is he doomed to eternal abuse by Deboss in this story? ...I sure as heck HOPE not!
Pikatwig: No stinking way! Star's getting development, to make him grow, but the Deboss Army isn't always gonna target him, they only did so because he's the youngest member of the team, they see him as the "weakest link".
KKD: Oh good, so it was only a phase.
Pikatwig: Yeah pretty much.
KKD: Phew! That would've gotten crazy. Anyway, folks, I hope you're ready for more Guardian action, 'cause next time, Pika and I will determine the next 3-5 Guardian Kyoryugers, one of them definitely being Igeranodon's aibou.
