Author's Note: Hey, everyone. So...I don't even know what I'm doing with my schedule anymore. I'll say one thing and then end up doing the opposite, so...yeah, here's more Strandarama. Whether I continue this or put it on hold again, just depends on how I feel. Like I've said before, I don't have a lot of time to write this semester, so when I get the chance to, I'll usually just write whatever comes easiest.
"Last time on Total Drama Strandarama!" Chris exclaimed from the Gazebo of Shame. "After booting Randall from their team, The Ferocious Fields were ready to actually win something. Despite their inner divisions, the team managed to come through and win the reward challenge. Meanwhile over on the Tough Trees, the seams are just ready to burst. Ferris and Drew both ended up on each other's radars, and sparks are ready to fly. And over on Not Quite Loser Island, the race is picking up to return. Pedro and Randall are battling monkeys for a necklace jewel, while Karly and Sandy are both stuck in the temple. With this next round being elimination, someone else will be joining them soon. Will The Ferocious Fields pull through and send another Tough Tree to the island, or will their feuding get the best of them and cause them to lose another? All will be shown today on Total…Drama…Strandarama!"
(Theme Song Plays…)
(Not Quite Loser Island)
Karly wandered through the dark tunnels, back the way she had first come when she had stumbled through the trap. She spotted someone lying in a corner.
"Uh…hello…is someone there?" she called.
She heard some groggy mumbling. She went over to investigate and found Sandy lying on the ground.
"Oh my, did you get stuck down here too?" Karly asked.
"Ah!" Sandy exclaimed as she awoke and saw Karly. "So I'm not the only one down here."
"Nope, I've been stuck here for a while," Karly sighed. "But here, follow me, there's something interesting to see."
Karly guided Sandy to the glowing chamber of crystals.
"Oh!" Sandy gasped. "Is that…one of the idols!?"
Sandy stared at the encased idol longingly.
"That's right," Karly said. "The only thing is, I think this requires some sort of a key to get it open. See her, there's a little slot for something."
Sandy inspected the slot.
"Hm…wait a minute," she said.
"What is it?" Karly asked.
"I think I know what fits in here," Sandy gasped. "I had it…I had it in my hands and…oh no!"
"What?" Karly asked.
"I told the boys they could have it!" Sandy gasped in horror. "We need to get out of here and back to the surface. Pronto!"
With that, Sandy grabbed Karly by the wrist and began to drag her deeper into the tunnels.
Confessional:
Karly-I spent all of yesterday exploring these caverns and I still haven't found a way out. I don't think it's going to be easy.
Sandy-I'm so close. I can taste it! I'm almost back in this game!
(Ferocious Fields Camp)
Confessional:
Marion-Today is another critical turning point for us. If we go to the Gazebo of Shame, then things could really go south for me. Best case scenario is we just win immunity, but I can't be that optimistic. I need to make sure that I have Mel on our side to guarantee that the power doesn't shift.
Brienne and Austin were loafing in the shelter together. Brienne was just lying on the ground relaxing, while Austin was working out his latest hypothesis on paranormal activity.
"So, you think we need to talk strategy?" Brienne asked.
"Not really," Austin said.
"I don't either," Brienne said. "Glad we had this talk."
Over in the smaller shelter, Portia was talking with Teddy and Linus.
"We need Mel," Portia said. "I hate to say it, I really do, but she's the only way we're going to swing this around."
"I agree," Linus said. "As soon as she adopts the role of a hero and sides with JUSTICE, this game will be back on the right track."
"Well, I don't know if I'd go that far," Portia said, "but she's our best bet. She voted with us once, if we word ourselves carefully, I think we might be able to do it again."
"Careful, that's me, that's what I'm all about!" Teddy exclaimed. "I'm gonna be so careful, you won't know what hit you! I'm gonna take careful to a whole new level, I'm gonna break records with how careful I am!"
"Er…it might be best to let me handle it," Portia said. "But I've got a job for you two. I need you to keep Marion busy. No doubt he's got the same plan in mind, and I need to make sure I get to talk to Mel without him butting in. Think you can do something about that?"
"Not a problem!" Teddy exclaimed with a salute.
"Happy to be of service," Linus added.
At this time, Mel was in her preferred part of the camp: Somewhere by herself. She was in the shade of a tree when Marion came to approach her.
"Oh god," Mel groaned. "Can't we go one day without you bothering me?"
"Now, Mel, I just want to have a civilized conversation," Marion said.
"Civilized is that last word I'd associate with you," Mel replied.
"Look, you got rid of Randall, good for you, you got what you want," Marion said. "But we have to target the others again. Teddy and Linus are the most annoying brats ever, and Portia is already rich. This team will be much better off without—"
"Run!" Teddy exclaimed. "Run! It's coming! Get outta here while you still can!"
"What are you talking about?" Marion asked.
"Okay, so I was walking in the woods and I spotted a beehive and I wanted to get some honey because honey is awesome and I wanted to eat the honey so I reached in and that made the bees really mad and they started to swarm and get all sting-y and now they're coming to kill us all!" Teddy said in one breath. "So we have to run!"
Teddy grabbed Marion's arm, and Linus grabbed another as they dragged him away. Mel didn't budge though, and this allowed Portia to sidle up next to her.
"Good morning, Mel," she said sweetly as she sat down.
"Not you too," Mel groaned. "Do I need a 'Do Not Disturb' sign? Because I'm pretty sure Teddy used my last one as fire wood."
"This will just take a few seconds, I promise," Portia said. "I just wanted to say that I think getting rid of Randall was the smartest move this season since he was holding our team back. But he's not the only one. If we lose again, you know who's to blame: Brienne. She never puts any effort into anything, she's nothing but deadweight."
"Hm," Mel said.
Suddenly an angry buzzing sound filled the area. A cloud of furious bees emerged from the forest.
"Teddy, don't tell me you actually angered those bees!" Portia exclaimed.
"I wanted honey," Teddy said guiltily.
Mel and Portia took off running from the angry swarm.
Confessional:
Mel-Well, well, well, looks like Mel, the one everyone hates, holds all the cards now. I don't know whether I should be overjoyed on enraged. On the one hand, I can make these morons do what I want, but on the other hand…they won't leave me alone! If we do lose, I've got a decision to make, and mark my word, I'm doing it fully based on what I want!
Portia-That…could have gone a little smoother. But I think I got my point across. Mel knows that we need strength, and that's one of many things Brienne is lacking.
(Tough Trees)
Yu skipped over to a pond where Drew and Florence were sitting on rocks together. Rocky was playfully swimming through the water.
"Good morning everybody, I hope you're all feeling sublime today!" Yu exclaimed.
"You know it!" Rocky exclaimed from the water as she gave two thumbs up.
"Ready for another challenge?" Florence asked. "I don't want to sound too cocky, but I think we can pull this off. We had an off day last time, but it's no biggie, we can still comeback."
"It will be, uh…a so called, biggie…though," Drew said, "if we lose again…today. One of our…uh, you know…troops, will be…executed."
"Eep, that doesn't sound pleasant," Yu exclaimed.
"No it does not," Florence agreed. "That's why we're all going to try hard to win this time."
"But…uh, in the case that…uh, we do lose," Drew said. "We ought to…uh, agree on who to vote for…to avoid, uh you know, all that craziness…before the vote."
"But that's depressing," Yu remarked. "I don't want to ruin this beautiful day by talking about which one of my friends I want to eliminate."
"Yeah, I don't either," Rocky said.
"Don't want to drop our morale before the challenge," Florence added.
"But—" Drew tried to say.
"Let's have a vote! Yu exclaimed. "All in favor of waiting until after we lose to discuss strategy and just enjoy this morning!?"
She, Florence, and Rocky put their hands up.
"Well, I can't fight democracy," Drew sighed.
Meanwhile, Betty was crawling on the ground and trying to act stealthy (she really wasn't.) She rolled from behind a tree to a bush as she tried to spy on the group of four.
"Look at them all," she hissed. "Talking. Talking without me. Talking about me, no doubt. Talking about me behind my back about how they're all going to vote for me tonight."
Florence glanced over at the bush. Betty tried to roll backwards, but only ended up stumbling and collapsing on her back. Florence shrugged and returned to his friends.
"They think that I know nothing," Betty continued. "I'm just clueless Betty. I don't know anything about my impending blindside. But that's where they're wrong, haha!"
"Hello," Washington said as he came up from behind her.
"I'm onto you!" she exclaimed as she glared at him and jabbed her finger at him. "Oh, don't think I don't know ALL about your little plan."
"Okay," Washington shrugged as he walked away.
"You'd better run!" Betty exclaimed.
Over in another part of the woods, Aloysius was strolling by himself.
"Morning," Ferris remarked to him as she walked past him.
Aloysius gave a very slight nod at her.
"So," Ferris said, "just curious but do you have any plans for voting tonight?"
"It is an insult that you would even ask something like that," Aloysius scoffed. "Are you implying that I am going to lose a challenge!? Are you doubting my prowess!?"
"Forget I said anything," Ferris replied.
"I was planning to," Aloysius replied.
Confessional:
Drew-In, uh…case we lose…I, um, wanted to make sure…uh, everyone would be down…for, uh…voting out Ferris. But, um, no one wants to…uh, talk about it…Oh well…I, uh, guess I'll just…um, bring it up when the…uh, time comes.
Betty-So, I know that everyone is against me now…but knowing something and then being able to do something about it are actually very apart. Hm, I'm really going to have to use every iota of brainpower to save myself this time.
Ferris-This team may seem all 'lovey-family' but I think if we ever have to vote again, things may get insane fast. If we can fine another unified target then that would be best, but since no one's even considering the possibility of losing, then there's bound to be a little scrambling going on.
(Later)
The two teams walked out to the beach where Chris was waiting for them.
"Welcome, campers, it's time for another challenge," Chris exclaimed. "Once again it's all for immunity, so the winners will be safe from elimination tonight. And the losers will be cutting loose another member."
Everyone nodded.
"Now, if you'll just follow me," Chris said as he led the groups over a hill.
Eventually they spotted an ancient stone castle against the side of a cliff.
"May I present, McClean Castle!" Chris exclaimed. "It's been in my family for generations…so I thought it would be perfect to ship over here and use for a challenge. You see, it hasn't been used in ages, and time has ravaged it, leaving it a wreck to navigate. Your task will be to escape from this castle. I'll explain the rules as we go…to begin, you'll need to enter."
Everyone moved towards the front door, but Chris stopped them.
"Not through there," Chris said. "Around back."
At the back of the castle were two ladders, leading into different windows.
"Each team will be trapped in a different, but identical room," Chris said. "Climb on up and make yourself at home."
The teams started to climb their respective ladders. Once they reached the window they hopped in and found themselves in a dark, dusty room, cluttered with all sorts of old furniture.
"What a mess," Portia remarked. "Someone really ought to have taken better care of this place."
Over on the Tough Trees side, the team was already feeling a bit crowded with nine people in the same area.
"Okay, let's spread out a bit," Ferris suggested.
"And let's get to work on making our great escape," Renada said. "We have no time to waste."
"Um, the challenge hasn't even started yet," Florence pointed out. "We don't even know what we're doing."
Suddenly, the ladders were pulled back and the shutters to the windows slammed shut.
"Alrighty, campers!" Chris's voice exclaimed through a hidden speaker. "This room has been locked, and if you want to progress to the next stage, you'll need to find a key. It's hidden somewhere in your room. However, there's an added incentive. The first team to escape will get to eliminate three from the other team from the challenge. This will continue with each stage until one team has been completely decimated. They will lose the challenge and be sent to the Gazebo of Shame. That being said, good luck!"
"KEY!" Betty exclaimed. "We need to find a key! Where is it!?"
She immediately began to run around the room frantically throwing anything she could grab from side to side.
"There's got to be a more organized way to do this," Ferris remarked.
"I agree, let's divide and conquer," Renada said. "Ferris, Yu, check that couch; Florence, Drew, check those drawers; Aloysiu—"
"I'll just do everything," Aloysius replied. "Because I don't trust anyone but myself to do this job properly. I've got very keen eyesight."
"Ugh, whatever," Renada grumbled as she started to sort through some chest on the floor.
Rocky got down and joined her. Ferris and Yu worked their way over to a couch and started to search through the pillows. Florence and Drew walked over to the drawers and cupboards and opened them up. Another mess poured out.
Over on the Ferocious Fields' side, the team was also starting to search.
"Come on, we gotta find it, gotta find, gotta find it somewhere!" Teddy exclaimed as he started to open and search everything he could.
"I think a slower approach might be more useful," Portia said as she daintily grabbed an old shoe and shook it out.
Austin meanwhile was intently tapping on the walls.
"Uh…what are you doing?" Marion asked.
"Ancient castles are just ripe for hauntings," Austin said. "And an ancient castle on an exotic island is just doubly as good. There's no way I'm passing up this opportunity."
"Oh yes you are," Mel snapped. "We are not wasting any time out here. We're already at a numbers disadvantage, we need every hand on deck!"
Austin ignored her though and continued to trace his fingers along the wall. Mel just growled and marched off on her own.
"Gimme that, you're doing it wrong!" she snapped at Portia as she took a clay vase out of her hand.
She tossed the vase on the ground and it smashed to pieces.
"No key there, keep looking!" Mel ordered.
Confessional:
Mel-If we lose this challenge, then it means we really are a hopeless team. But I don't intend to let that happen!
Ferris-I'm really hoping our team can get it together and pull through for today. I'm not looking forward to the inevitable chaos that will come before voting.
(Tough Trees)
Yu was digging through the cushions of the seat of the couch as she tried to find anything.
"I'm pretty sure you've cleaned it dry," Ferris remarked.
"You never know," Yu said. "These things are a goldmine for treasures…aha!"
She pulled out an ancient rusty coin.
"Uh, that's not the key," Ferris pointed out.
"No, but what'd I tell you? These things are just filled with rare treasures," Yu put the coin in her pocket triumphantly.
Renada was shaking a crate out and revealed a pile of papers. She began to sort through them.
"No, no, you're doing it all wrong," Aloysius scolded. "Here let me show you how it's done."
"I'm doing fine," Renada spat.
Aloysius grabbed the papers and in a flash had them all organized in a neat pile.
"You were saying?" Aloysius asked. "And no key. Keep looking."
Florence and Drew meanwhile were sorting through the various objects that had fallen out of the cupboard.
"Let's see…" Florence said as he tossed things aside, "coffee pot…dictionary…watering can…"
"Robot oil…Tome of the Ancients…Gnomes' Bane…" Drew listed as he also sorted through the pile.
Florence glanced over at Drew's pile and saw that it was almost the same as his.
"Uh…yeah, if you say so," Florence said.
"Come guys, work faster!" Betty exclaimed in a panic. "Where's that key!?"
She ended up stepping on the handle of a pot in the pile. The key, in fact, was in this pot, but the force of her foot caused it to launch upward and land on top of a light fixture on the ceiling. No one noticed.
"We're going as fast as we can," Florence said.
"Then it's up to me," Betty said as she started to toss things aside carelessly. "We'll find it soon enough, I promise!"
Confessional:
Betty-Oh, I can tell what this is! No one's trying because "I'm safe, Betty's the target, duh." Well, there's only one thing left I can do: Ensure that we win immunity!
Florence-Betty needs to calm down and take a slower approach. This challenge won't win itself by rushing, it takes a little precision.
(Ferocious Fields)
Portia and Marion were searching through whatever they could find. Portia opened a crate and dragged out a large quilt. Marion found a large urn full of dirt, but no key. Austin was planning out a design on the wall. However, he was getting distracted by Mel who was ripping the wallpaper off the wall.
"Nothing in here," she said.
"Do you mind!?" Austin snapped. "I'm trying to do something here."
"When you should be searching," Mel said. "So no, I don't mind!"
Brienne meanwhile had collapsed on the couch and was simply lying there.
"Uh…move," Linus said as he tried to get past her.
"You can't talk to me like that," Brienne scoffed.
"I'm trying to search couch for keys," Linus said. "You're making that kinda difficult."
"Um, did you not notice, I'm getting comfortable here," Brienne retorted. "Do you have any idea how insensitive it is to ask me to move now?"
"We're trying to win a challenge here!" Linus pointed out.
"Well, try to win it somewhere else," Brienne said.
"Grrr," Linus growled as he glared at Brienne.
"Found it!" Teddy exclaimed as he reached under a rug and held up the key.
"Found it!" Brienne said as she grabbed the key from Teddy and shoved him aside. "Wow, that was easy. I'm just so helpful."
"Good job, Brienne," Marion said. "Now let's get out of here."
The team unlocked the door and exited to a hallway.
"Attention everyone," Chris exclaimed, "The Ferocious Fields have completed the first round. The doors will now be unlocked."
The Tough Trees exited next and joined the other team in the hallway.
"Ferocious Fields, you may choose three members of the opposing team to eliminate," Chris said.
The team huddled together and discussed their plan.
"We'll take out Aloysius, Renada, and Rocky," Marion announced.
Suddenly a trapdoor opened up, conveniently where those three were standing.
"Tough Trees, you're down to six," Chris said. "But it's not over for you yet."
Confessional:
Marion-Ha, we did it! We just need to keep up this lead and we'll be golden.
Aloysius-Ugh, this is an absolutely awful turn of events. How am I supposed to carry my team if I've been taken out already?
Renada-This is not how the challenge should start!
Mel-Well, don't ask me how we did that, but we'd better keep it up!
"Time for the second part of this challenge," Chris said. "There are two hallways, one of the left and one on the right. You will each travel down the hallway and try to find a way downstairs. Same rules apply, first team to arrive will get to eliminate three from the opposing team."
The two teams headed off in separate directions. However, where they got to the flight of stairs, they found that it had nearly fallen apart. There were massive gaps rotting through the wood, and a fence had been put up to block it off.
"Well…looks like we'll have to do a little more exploring," Ferris remarked to her team.
"You think there's another way down?" Florence asked.
"There's got to be," Ferris replied. "We've got to just find it before the other team does."
"I agree," Yu chimed in. "Let's work together and do this, we can catch up!"
The team branched out and began to explore the hallway. They opened several doors and looked inside.
"Nothing in here," Ferris said as she opened a door to reveal a room full of cleaning supplies.
"Here either," Washington said as he revealed a closet full of towels.
"Just a…uh, you know, shrine to an…um, undead Monkey God," Drew said. "Nothing special."
"Wait, what!?" Betty cried as she ran over to the door.
However, all she saw was a single wilting houseplant.
"Uh…that's a plant," she said.
"Undead Monkey God Shrine is…uh, a lot more…you know, fun than that," Drew shrugged.
"People, can we please stay on track?" Ferris asked. "We're already behind, this isn't the time for goofing off."
Confessional:
Betty-For a second there, I thought we were about to be possessed by the Undead Monkey God…heh, that would have been bad…I think I'm letting Drew get into my head…Oh no, stay out of my head!
Drew-Ferris is like…uh, a leech that uh…drinks blood…except instead of blood, she, uh…sucks fun-blood. It's not cool.
Ferris-Maybe I'm stressing a bit here, but can you blame me? We've just lost three of our strongest members in the challenge. Someone has to step up.
Meanwhile, the Ferocious Fields had also realized that they might have to find another route.
"This isn't going to work," Marion remarked. "There's probably a trick to it around here. Let's just look around."
"But that sounds like so much work," Brienne whined. "Why can't this be easier?"
"Because it's not," Mel snapped. "Now shut up and search."
"Well, just for that, I'm not helping," Brienne scoffed.
"You weren't helping to begin with!" Mel shouted.
"People, we can't fight," Portia exclaimed. "We have to keep moving."
"Don't tell me what I can't do," Brienne spat. "I can fight if I want to. Look, I'm fighting right now and you can't stop me!"
Brienne gave a mild-it was probably harsh by her standards-shove to Mel.
"Cut that out this instant, you vile demon!" Linus shouted at Brienne.
"Stop fighting my battles for me, I can handle myself," Mel snapped at Linus.
While all this was going on, Teddy was rushing from door to door, opening and closing them.
"Nope, nope, nope, nope," he said with each time he slammed a door shut.
Confessional:
Linus-Clearly the dark influence of our team is taking its toll on us. We need to keep removing these villains before they bring the whole team down with them!
Mel-I hate this team. So. Freaking. Much.
Brienne-Ha, I put those chumps in their place. Maybe they'll think twice before messing with me now.
The Tough Trees still weren't having any luck.
"Find anything yet?" Yu called down to Florence.
"Just a closet full of coats," Florence replied.
"But we've checked every door," Betty exclaimed. "What do we do now? We're ruined!"
"We are not ruined," Ferris said. "We just need to keep on searching."
"Oh wait…hang on," Florence said. "I think there's something back here."
He brushed the coats away to reveal a hole at the back of the closet. A pole dropped down into the hole.
"Looks like we've found our escape," Yu said as she grabbed the pole and slid down.
"Ladies first," Florence said as he gestured for Ferris and Betty to go ahead.
One by one the Tough Trees dropped down the pole and landed in a dark room.
"I think there's a door up here," Yu said as she fumbled through the dark.
"Well, hurry up and open it!" Betty said. "Let's get out of here."
The team piled out of the door and arrived in a vast ballroom.
"We made it!" Florence cheered.
"Congratulations, Tough Trees," Chris's voice announced, "you've won this round. The escape hole shall now be revealed to the Ferocious Fields."
Back on the upper floor, the door to the coat closet swung open.
"Huh, I thought I looked in there," Teddy remarked.
"Well, you obviously didn't look hard enough," Brienne scoffed. "I swear, it's like I'm dealing with preschoolers sometimes."
Marion brushed the coats aside and the team descended the pole. Soon they had arrived in the ballroom with the other team.
"Alright, Trees," Chris said, "it's your turn to knock out three members of the Ferocious Fields."
The group huddled together before coming to a decision.
"We have, uh…decided," Drew announced, "to take out…the Fair Damsel…the Necrocist, and uh…the Imp Child."
The Ferocious Fields glanced at each other uncertainly.
"He means Portia, Austin, and Teddy," Ferris said.
"Ah, I see," Chris said. "Well then…sucks to be you."
A net dropped down over Austin, Portia, and Teddy. It trapped them all and reeled them up into a gap in the ceiling before closing shut.
Confessional:
Portia-I dear, I hope my team will be alright. Tensions have been so high between all of us, and it's not helping.
Austin-Noo! You can't take me out of here, I haven't even seen a single ghost yet!
Ferris-We managed to even the numbers up, now we just got to keep this up and we'll be able to pull off a win.
Marion-Ugh, this isn't good. If there was ever I time when I didn't want to lose, this would be it.
"Welcome to the third round," Chris announced. "For this part, you'll both be in the same room. There is a trapdoor that will lead you to the next round, but you'll have to find the hidden switch to open it up. The first team to do so will get to chop off another three members from the opposing team."
"Come on, team, let's go, we gotta find that switch fast!" Betty exclaimed frantically.
"It's not like there's a lot of places it could hide," Ferris remarked.
The majority of the room was just empty marble floor. On the sides of the walls, though, were tapestries, suits of armor, portraits, sculptures, and other decorations all aligned in order.
"Come on, we've got to find that switch," Mel said to her team. "And you're helping!"
She grabbed Brienne and dragged her to the right side of the room. Betty meanwhile was furious ransacking the left side of the room. She kicked over suits of armor, tore down tapestries, and searched wherever she could.
"Well…that's destructive," Florence remarked.
"Let's just keep looking," Ferris said.
The Ferocious Fields were rushing through their side, searching in every spot they could.
"Come on, it's got to be around here somewhere," Mel grumbled as she ripped a painting off the wall and found nothing.
Betty flipped a small table over and exclaimed, "Aha, found it!"
"Oh no you don't!" Linus shouted as she charged towards Betty.
He tackled her to the ground aggressively before she could continue.
"Hey, cut it out!" Betty cried as she struggled with him.
Florence grabbed Linus and pulled him off of Betty. Marion, however, had already run over to where Betty had kicked over the table.
"Hey…there's no switch here," Marion remarked.
"There's not…oh, heh, sorry," Betty said as she stood up. "Guess I was overreacting a bit and started seeing things…not crazy!"
"Well, you might be seeing things, but I'm not," Mel said as she dragged back a curtain to reveal a lever.
"Nooo!" Betty exclaimed as she charged toward Mel.
She slammed into her and pinned her to the ground.
"Payback!" Betty exclaimed.
"Brienne…pull the…lever!" Mel shouted from underneath Betty.
"Hm…I could do that…but, do I really want to?" Brienne muttered from next to the lever.
"I swear…if we lose this challenge…you are going to…be so dead!" Mel shouted as she continued to wrestle with Betty.
The other campers were fast approaching.
"Oh, I suppose I could do you a favor," Brienne said, "because I'm so kind and forgiving. But you owe me big time."
"How about I don't vote your ass out of here!?" Mel snapped.
Brienne grabbed the lever and pulled it down. Suddenly the center of the room began to open up, revealing a downward staircase.
"Congratulations, Ferocious Fields," Chris said. "You've won another round, which means it's time to say goodbye to another three Trees."
Once again, the team got together to discuss.
"We'll remove," Marion said, "Ferris, Washington, and Florence."
"Alright then, that's it for you three," Chris said as a hook emerged from the wall and dragged the three mentioned into a hidden passage.
Confessional:
Mel-Ugh, Brienne makes me sick. I'm starting to see that Randall wasn't the only one holding us back. She'd better not cost us yet another victory.
Ferris-I hope the others will be okay on their own now. Betty, Yu, and Drew…yeah, I can't say I've got high hopes.
Betty-Oh my gosh, this is so close! We can't lose, I've got to keep us afloat. Otherwise all my hard work will be wasted!
Linus-I can't depend on these villains to win this challenge for us. It's all on me now!
The two teams descended the stairs and wound up in a dank cellar. There were barrels, crates, and other containers littered across the room.
"Welcome to Round 4," Chris announced. "For this round, your goal is to reach the top of the room where another passage is waiting for you."
Both teams looked up to see that the cellar actually rose quite high into the rafters. There was a small crevice on either side of the room.
"Your job is to stack a way to get up there and move on. Last team to do so will have to lose another three members," Chris said. "And in the Tough Trees' case, that would be the last of them."
Both teams quickly started to grab what they could. Well, except for Brienne who was watching from the side. Marion, Linus, and Mel grabbed crates and started to make a foundation for their tower.
"We need to make sure this isn't going to come crashing down on us," Marion said. "Let's keep it steady."
"Yes…do that…good job, team," Brienne said.
Meanwhile, the Tough Trees were discussing how to go about building their tower.
"So, what's the best way to do this?" Yu asked. "You guys got any ideas?"
"We should, uh…mimic the, um…castles of…K'czar," Drew said. "They had…um, sturdy castles."
"Um, okay…we could do that," Yu said uncertainly as she glanced at Betty.
"Oh my god, look at them, they've already started!" Betty cried as she glanced over at the other team. "We need to hurry, or else it's all over for me…I mean us!"
Betty started to grab barrels and stack them up.
"That structure…uh, doesn't look very…um, you know, sound," Drew said.
"Well, can't fault her for trying," Yu said. "Her heart is in the right place."
The Ferocious Fields were starting to form an uneven staircase made out of boxes and barrels.
"The other team already is already heading straight up," Brienne pointed out. "Can't we pick up the pace?"
"Better safe than sorry," Linus said. "If rush through this and it collapses…well, so much for us."
"And not to mention, you're not allowed to complain!" Mel snapped at Brienne.
By now, Betty had managed to pile up a shaky stack that led straight to the passage. Yu and Drew were helping her out now to lift the pieces onto the tower.
"Okay, there, we got it," Betty said.
"This tower…uh…isn't like…K'czar at all," Drew remarked. "It's very…uh…Myrillion."
"Is that bad?" Yu asked.
"Let's just say…uh, they never made it…to, uh, the Second War of the Fairies," Drew said.
"Oh…so that's bad then?" Yu said.
"No time to bicker, guys, let's climb this thing," Betty said as she started to pull herself up onto the tower.
However, she only scaled for a little bit before the tower began to wobble back and forth and then came crashing down.
"Oof!" Betty exclaimed as she hit the ground.
Yu and Drew ducked out of the way of the following barrels.
"So…what were you saying about Kastar or something?" Betty asked.
By now, the Ferocious Fields had set up a stairway that just barely reached the passage.
"Think we can make it?" Mel asked.
"We'd better," Linus said.
The four began to scale their structure. Marion climbed to the top and looked up at the crack in the wall. He reached up to try to grab it.
"Come on…just a little closer…" he said as he reached out.
The structure started to shake.
"Uh…better be careful," Linus said nervously.
Marion continued to stretch towards the passage. He was on the edge of the crate he was standing on now. He could feel his feet starting to slip. He grabbed onto the crack and pulled the door open.
"Aha!" he cheered. "Got it!"
He quickly pulled himself into the passage. The rest of the team soon followed. They crawled through the narrow tunnel, but eventually emerged in a courtyard.
"Congratulations, Ferocious Fields!" Chris exclaimed. "You've made it to Round 5…however, that doesn't even matter, because the Tough Trees have been completely eliminated from this challenge. So…Ferocious Fields win immunity!"
"Hahahaha!" Mel laughed. "We finally did it. In your face, losers!"
Confessional:
Mel-About damn time. Even with the living anchor, Brienne, holding us back, we still managed to pull it off. It's someone else's turn to lose.
Brienne-I was never worried.
Marion-Looks like I've bought some time. Which is good, by the next time we lose, I'll back in power.
Betty-Oh no. Oh no! OH NO! This is it! It's all over for me now!
Yu-Aw, that sucks. But I guess it had to happen eventually. Nothing we can do but make the most of it now.
Drew-The time has come…to, uh…feed the, um, dragon…yet again.
(Tough Trees)
"That challenge was unfair," Aloysius scoffed to the team. "Totally and completely unfair, it's as if it was designed to work against me. None of you have any right to hold my performance in the challenge today against me."
"Don't worry, Al, we know you did your best!" Yu said as she gave Aloysius a thumbs-up.
"Well, that still doesn't change anything," Renada said. "We lost and now someone has to go home."
Everyone glanced around uneasily.
"Well, let me know when it's time to vote," Ferris said as she left the group.
Yu quickly followed after her.
"Hey, don't you want to talk to the others and see who they're voting for?" Yu asked.
"I honestly don't think they have any idea," Ferris said. "No one has wanted to think about strategy at all on this tribe. And besides I already know who I'm voting: Drew."
"What? But Drew is nifty and awesome," Yu said. "Why would you want to vote him out?"
"He needs to get his head in the game," Ferris said. "He's always off in his own world. He needs to focus on actually helping out or he'll just hold us back."
"But he's so nice," Yu protested.
"Sorry, but that's how this game works," Ferris sighed.
"Let me talk to the others," Yu said. "I'm sure we can come to a compromise."
Ferris looked like she had more to say, but Yu ran off. She just shrugged and sat down by herself. Yu meanwhile joined up with the group of Drew, Rocky, and Florence.
"…so, uh…all I'm saying is…uh her dour attitude is…uh, really draining the life of…um, the camp," Drew said. "She's like a…um, vampire."
"More like a Torpedo Snail," Rocky said matter-of-factly.
"Uh yeah…that too," Drew added.
"So…what are we talking about, guys?" Yu asked.
"We were just discussing how the vote is going to go," Florence said. "It's looking like it's going to be Ferris."
"What!?" Yu cried. "But why Ferris? She's super nice and she's always helping in challenges."
"She may be good in challenges," Florence said. "But…well, she doesn't talk to any of us. It's like she doesn't even want to be here."
"Oh, but she does!" Yu insisted. "She's just not the most social."
"Well then…that's, uh…her problem," Drew said. "But someone…uh, has to go…and I, um…think it's only fair that it should…uh, be her."
"Oh, but…I…uh…I…" Yu tried to say. "I have to go!"
Yu quickly sprinted back to Ferris.
"Ferris!" she cried.
"What is it?" Ferris asked.
"It's horrible, oh, it's terrible!" Yu cried.
"What?" Ferris asked again.
"People want to vote you out!" Yu gasped.
"Me? But…what did I even do?" Ferris asked.
"That's what I said," Yu replied. "But they're convinced that you don't like anyone here."
"What? That's such a dumb reason vote for someone," Ferris scoffed. "I'm trying my best here, isn't that enough?"
"I guess not," Yu sighed.
"So what…is it all over for me?" Ferris asked.
"No, no, of course not," Yu said. "We can still turn this around."
"Are you sure?" Ferris asked. "I mean, if people are set…is there much I can say to change their minds?"
"There must be," Yu said. "I'll go talk to my friends again, you find whoever you can and try to get them on our side."
"Got it," Ferris said.
Ferris got up and quickly made her way back towards the camp. She spotted Renada and ran over to her.
"Hey, we need to talk," she said.
"What is it?" Renada said with annoyance.
"Look, you're right, losing sucks and we don't want to have to go through that again," Ferris said. "And I promise you, I will give it my all in every single challenge. I've already been trying hard, but maybe it's not enough, I can work harder, do whatever it takes. Just please, give me another chance."
"Okay...you made your point," Renada shrugged before walking away.
Meanwhile, Yu had returned to Drew, Florence, and Rocky.
"Guys, you can't vote out Ferris," she exclaimed. "She doesn't deserve it. If you keep her I just know that she'll try harder to be nicer to all of you and you'll love her just as much as I do."
"Well, Yu, I'm sure Ferris is great," Florence said, "but the thing is…you like everyone on this team. Who else would you rather vote out instead of her?"
"Oh," Yu gasped as the reality dawned on her.
Over in another part of the camp, Betty had leapt in front of Aloysius and bowed down in front of him.
"Pleaseohpleaseohpleaseohplease don't vote me out!" she cried. "You're my only hope! I'll do anything you want. Anything! Just please, don't let me go home like this! Don't let me die young!"
Betty clung to Aloysius's legs as she sobbed.
"If I don't vote for you, will you leave me alone and never do that again?" Aloysius asked.
"Oh thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou!" Betty chanted.
"Don't test my patience," Aloysius huffed.
Confessional:
Ferris-I've got a bad feeling about tonight. I should have known that my lack of social skills would get me in trouble sooner or later…but if I do survive tonight, I'm going to do whatever I can to work on that.
Yu-Oh this is so sad, no matter what happens, I'll be losing a friend. I never want to lose again.
Betty-Aloysius said he'll save me…but can I trust him? I don't know, I just don't know! I think this could be it for me!
Renada-Hm, I want to keep this team strong, and if Ferris is serious then she could still be very valuable…
(Gazebo of Shame)
The team of nine sat down at the Gazebo with Chris waiting for them.
"Welcome, Tough Trees," Chris said. "It's been a while since I've seen you down here, but all good things must come to an end. For one of you, it's the end of your chance for the million dollars."
Everyone glanced around nervously. None more than Betty though who was shaking in her seat.
"Betty…you okay?" Chris asked.
"No, Chris, I am not!" Betty exclaimed. "I know it's me going and there's no point in prolonging it!"
"Uh, Betty, people haven't even voted yet," Chris pointed out. "Anyways, moving along, Florence, why do you think you lost?"
"Can't win them all," Florence said with a shrug. "We were bound to slip up someday, and that day happened to be today."
"So, who should feel at risk today?" Chris asked.
"Me!" Betty announced.
"People who are weakening our team," Renada said.
"I'm not weakening the team, I promise!" Betty exclaimed.
"What about…uh, people who weaken…morale?" Drew suggested.
"I'm not doing that either!" Betty shouted.
Ferris just give an irritated glance at Drew. Drew stared back at her passively.
"Well, then, let's vote," Chris said. "And see if your fears are warranted."
"They probably are," Betty sighed.
(Later)
After everyone had voted, they sat back down.
"Alright, I have the votes," Chris said. "One at a time you will get a green light of safety. If you do not get one, then that means you are out!"
Betty was still vibrating with nerves. Ferris swallowed and tried to keep calm. Yu was looking around nervously. Drew remained placid.
"First person safe," Chris said. "Is…Aloysius!"
"Naturally," Aloysius said as a light shone on him.
"Also safe," Chris continued. "…"
"Yu!"
"Florence!"
"Renada!"
"Rocky!"
"Drew!"
This just left Betty, Washington, and Ferris.
"Why even bother building up suspense? We all know I'm the one going!" Betty cried.
"Betty."
"Well, it's been fun, adios, guys," Betty said as she got up.
"No, Betty, you're safe," Chris said.
"Oh…what a lovely surprise," Betty said as she sat down again.
"So, it comes down to Ferris or Washington," Chris said. "And the final green light goes to…"

"Ferris!"
Ferris's jaw dropped in surprise as the green light shone down on her.
"Washington," Chris said. "You have received the most votes, and you have been eliminated."
Washington stood up, took a deep breath, and opened his mouth.
"…Okay," he said.
He then shrugged and walked along the Gazebo towards the Fanboat.
"As for the rest of you," Chris said. "Congratulations, you've survived another day. Good luck on surviving plenty more."
"Wait a minute…" Betty said. "I'M SAFE!?"
(Not Quiet Loser Island)
Pedro and Randall sat in their rickety shelter together. Both boys were covered in scratches and claw marks.
"Okay…so the monkeys…aren't very nice," Pedro remarked.
"You can say that again," Randall whimpered.
"But I still think we can overcome them," Pedro said. "We've just got to outsmart them and get our hands on that necklace."
"Are you sure it's even worth it?" Randall asked.
"Positive," Pedro said. "If it can help us get back in the game, then I say we do whatever it takes."
"Oh…would you look at the time," Randall remarked.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Pedro asked.
Randall pointed to the approaching fanboat. Chris and Washington soon arrived at shore.
"Okay, your second chance awaits you," Chris said as he tossed Washington in the sand.
Randall and Pedro quickly moved to help him up.
"Hey, welcome to loserville," Pedro said to him.
"Hello," Washington said.
"Want to help us battle crazy monkeys?" Pedro asked.
"…Okay," Washington said.
"Heh, I like this guy," Pedro remarked.
Confessional:
Pedro-Both Randall and Washington seem like pushovers, which is great for me. Because there's only two idols out there, and I want at least one of them to be mine.
Washington-So…I lost. Eh, no big deal.
Votes:
Renada-Washington, if you were a valuable player, I think I would have noticed by now.
Aloysius-It sounds like we're sending out that Ferris girl today. Why not? She's never interested me.
Betty-I know I'm screwed, but I might as well vote Ferris and hope for the best.
Drew-Ferris, you won't be…uh, raining on my parade…any, uh, longer.
Yu-Sorry Washington but you're the one person I don't know that well. I'd like to get to know you better, but I'm afraid this is the way it has to be.
Ferris-Yu says she'd be willing to vote Washington, so this might be my only chance.
Florence-I'd hate to upset Yu by voting out her friend. I think voting out Washington might be the best option.
Rocky-What's that, Mr. Mosquito? Vote Washington? Okay, if you say so.
Washington-Ferris.
(Conclusion)
"And so we say farewell to simple Washington," Chris said. "Does he have what it takes to earn himself a spot on the return trip? The battle for redemption on Not Quite Loser Island continues to intensify. Meanwhile, the teams just keep running into more trouble. Will Drew and Ferris continue to cause problems for each other? What side will Mel end up on in the feud of the Ferocious Fields? And who will get sent packing next? On Total…Drama…Strandarama!"
Author's Note: And that does it for Washington. With Washington my goal was pretty simple, just to have a character who was completely irrelevant and see what I could do with him. Rather than say a character like Mia, Washington's irrelevance wasn't supposed to be highlighted, he was just supposed to be a guy who would get a few pointless lines here and there. Originally I considered having him as one of the first couple boots, but I decided that I could stretch his gag out a little longer. And this is as far as he gets.
