Chapter Ten

First Day Starts with a BANG! Part I of II

September 5th, 1991

"YOU ARE JOKING!" exclaimed Neville as the gang walked toward the main hall to eat lunch.

"Nope. I'm really the Seeker for Gryffindor."

"The Youngest Seeker of the century!" exclaimed Ginny.

"Really? Quidditch is more important than what happened to you, Ginny?" asked Hermione.

"I'm fine. Aren't I, Harry?" responded Ginny as Harry nodded.

"But someone jinxed your broom!"

"I know but McGonagall said she and Madam Hooch will investigative it soon as possible."

"Oh. That's a relief then."

"Yeah, wait till you see Harry's broom!" exclaimed Ginny. "It's really the best one ever! It's an awesome broom for awesome seeker like Harry."

'You like to put me on the spot, don't you?' thought Harry as he put food on his plate as Hermione and Neville chattered about the day.

'Yep.' said Ginny. Harry mentally shook his head. Ginny mentally giggled as she put food on her plate.

September 6th, 1991

Harry and the rest of the gang went to breakfast. When they arrived, they saw Malfoy gloating that Harry was expelled. Harry and the gang groaned. When will Malfoy ever learn to leave Harry and his friends alone.

"So, Scarhead. I guess you are going be leaving and not coming back here ever again."

"I'm sorry to say but you been misinformed that I had been expelled. I actually got the seeker position on quidditch team!"

"That's a lie!"

"Haha, that's rich from a ferret and his dum-dum boys." chimed Ginny cause to rest of Gryffindors laughed as Malfoy got angry.

"That's it, Weasel!" cried Malfoy as he pulled his wand.

"Petrificus Totalus!"

Fortunately, Harry already pulled out his wand from his wand-hostler.

"Protego!" shouted Harry as he already knew the shield charm from his dad as they were practicing it a few times during Harry's lifetime.

"5o points from Gryffindor for disturbing the peace!" shouted Snape.

"What? I didn't do anything!"

"You did."

"Prove it." said McGonagall. "I didn't see anything but an act of self-defense."

"Potter verbally attacked him!"

"I'm sorry but you are misinformed again. Mr. Malfoy verbally attacked him first and then does the Full- Body Bind curse at Miss Weasley and Mr. Potter reacted in self-defense. We have witnesses here, Severus."

"Perhaps, we should let this go." said Professor Dumbledore as he arrived and saw Snape and McGonagall staring at each other.

"NO! I'm not letting this slide! You always let him get away with everything! That changes now! That is 50 points from Slytherin and detention with me for one week from now!"

"I'm afraid I can't let you do that, Minerva."

"Yes, I can or do you want me to contact Daniella Black again?"

That shut the Professors up. Dumbledore stared at Harry, trying to break his mind barrier again while Snape silently growled and walked away toward his office. Harry stared back and broke through Dumbledore's mind and saw many things that could cost him his job and put him in prison. He also saw that he released Peter from his ruined house and set everything up with help of the strange masked man so that Sirius Black would be framed. He also saw that he oblivated everyone so everyone thought that Severus Snape was best friends with his two fathers and Remus Lupin and his two mothers.

"YOU BASTARD!" cried Harry. "HE SET UP MY GODFATHER BY PLANTING SOME EVIDVANCE AND KNEW PETER WAS SECRET-KEEPER, NOT MY GODFATHER!"

"WHAT?" cried McGonagall. "ALBUS! HOW DARE YOU?"

"HE WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE WITH HIM AND HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE WITH HIS AUNT AND UNCLE!" shouted Dumbledore.

"I TOLD YOU, ALBUS! THOSE MUGGLE ARE THE WORST SORT AND THEY HATE MAGIC WITH EVERY OF FIBER OF THEIR BODY!"

"I'm going to call my mother about this. Can I have permission to use your fireplace to call my mother?" asked Harry.

"You may, Potter." answered McGonagall. Harry got up and was going to leave but Dumbledore stood in his way.

"I'm afraid I can't let you do that. This is for the greater good." said Dumbledore as he pulled his wand out. "Maxima Obli—"

Unfortunately for him, Venus, Harry and Ginny's phoenix, appeared with Daniella Black and Amelia Bones and they drew their wands toward Dumbledore. Venus took Dumbledore's wand away and threw it toward Harry as Harry caught it. It felt warm in his hand for some strange reason.

"Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, you are arrested for the use of an illegal legilimency curse on several students and oblivating every person you have met. Also the attempt to oblivate Harry James Potter and framing Sirius Black for the murders of James and Lily Potter and abetting a fugitive." said Amelia Bones as she still had her wand on him.

Dumbledore seemed as if he was stuck as Aurors appeared behind him. He, then, remembered his familiar pet.

"Fawkes! Fawkes!" shouted Dumbledore.

"What's wrong?" said Daniella in a bored but angry tone. "Let me have an example. Fawkes?"

Fawkes appeared with Megan and Sirius Black holding Harry's broom. Fawkes stared at Dumbledore coldly because the phoenix was being controlled by Dumbledore but he was supposed to be bonded with Megan Black and someone in the near future. Dumbledore sighed, his plans were not going well and it is all Potter's fault. He ruined it when it was actually Dumbledore's fault for trying to invade Potter's well-protected mind and got himself caught for it.

He tried to apparate out of the castle as he was Headmaster and controlled the wards but apparently Hogwarts refused to let him out.

"Give it up or I shall authorize 'Stupefy' to be used on you. I'm not responsible for anything bad that might happen to you." said Amelia Bones.

Dumbledore surrendered without a fight as an Auror put magically binding cuffs on him and dragged him away. Amelia Bones followed him as Daniella and Sirius plus Megan went to Harry and his gang.

"Mom, dad. What are you guys doing here?"

"Your phoenix, Venus, warned me that Dumbledore was trying to kidnap you in public and oblivate everyone. And with the help of Fawkes, who was supposed to be bonded with Megan a long time ago, we found out everything about him and his 'Greater Good' plan."

"As much I like a family reunion in here, we should go to my new office to keep this communication private as I'm acting Headmistress right now. Filius!"

The Charms teacher appeared between her and Dani. He knew that he was now acting Deputy Headmaster but better to be commanded by Minerva than do nothing right now since it is Sunday.

"Yes, Minerva?" asked Professor Flitwick.

You are in charge right now in here. I'm going to have a small meeting with them."

"Yes, Minerva." said Professor Flitwick as he left toward the teacher's common room.

"Can my friends come?" asked Harry.

"Sure, the more the merrier." said Sirius as the gang cheered.

"Come on then." said Harry as they left the Grand Hall toward the Headmistress' office. When they got there the gargoyle that guarded the office let them in without a password. McGonagall entered first and sat down in the Headmistress' chair and started searching anything that would put Dumbledore behind bars for long time.

"You have lot of things to explain, young man." said Daniella as Harry gulped.

"Why didn't you tell me you are soul-bonded to Ginny?" Harry and Ginny froze as Hermione and Neville gasped as they didn't know that Harry and Ginny were soul-bond either. McGonagall was unsurprised because she already knew that yesterday as Megan already knew from the beginning.

"Wait, your friends didn't know?" asked Sirius frowning.

"We were going to tell them but we couldn't because of Dumbledore and Snape's legilimency." answered Harry.

"I'm sorry, guys. We really did want to tell you guys. We do." said Ginny.

"It's alright. I understand. I was really going to practice Occlumency but I couldn't find a book about it the in library."

'WHAT? DUMBLEDORE! I KNEW IT!" cried McGonagall, surprises everybody. "There was actually a book about Occlumency in the 'O' section but it was gone. Everyone was complaining about it and I asked Dumbledore about it. He said we will find it soon but never did anything about it. Guess what I found." said McGonagall as she held up a book. "It was in the drawer."

"Fawkes, is there any place here where Dumbledore would be holding some stuff from the public?" asked Megan, to Fawkes.

'Yes, there is, my lady. It's behind that bookshelf over there. All you do is pull that red book over there and it will open.' said Fawkes, Harry and Ginny understood him because of the connection with Venus.

"Mom, Fawkes said that all of the stuff Dumbledore stored is behind that bookshelf over there. All you do is pulling the red book over there." said Megan as she pointed to the bookshelf behind McGonagall.

Dani and Sirius went and Sirius pulled the red book as the bookshelf started to move left to open and a small passage that lead down under the Headmistress' office appeared. Dani and Sirius pulled out their wands as the rest of the gang plus McGonagall followed except Megan as she didn't have a wand yet but Fawkes stayed with her while Venus followed them.

"Be careful, I don't know if Dumbledore put any traps in here. If he did, the anti-trap charm is 'Tollendum Captionem'." said Dani.

"Normally you should learn this in your third year but this is the exception." said McGonagall.

So far they haven't encountered any traps but when they got to end of the passage they were in shock. The place was full of old treasure and books. Sirius noticed the cloak on top of the piles of useless junk. He remembered seeing it as he and James used it many times during their seven years here.

"James' invisibility cloak!" cried Sirius.

"What?" cried Dani.

"That cloak was James'. It was passed down through the Potters' generations. James was going to give it to Harry until Dumbledore stole it, claimed he needed to research it for something."

"Daddy… Mommy…" sniffed Harry.

"Harry, what wrong... Oh, my Merlin…" said Sirius. Everyone saw the two portraits of James and Lily Potter on the wall. Ginny hugged Harry as he nearly collapsed at seeing his parents for the first time since he saw them in the Black Family albums. The two in the portraits smile at the group in front of them. McGonagall ushered at Hermione and Neville to leave to give them some privacy but let Ginny stay with Harry because she knew that he will need her right now. She sent Megan through to join her family a moment later. Megan was surprised to see her deceased Godparents.

A/N: Four People join group of know Harry & Ginny's soul-bond. Also Were you surprised Albus is arrested and that Fawkes were supposed to be bond with Megan but Dumbledore controlled him? Please give a review!
