A/N: Didn't expect to see me this soon did you? So another update is here. So last chapter I got no feedback on the whole adding characters thing, so makes me think maybe you don't want me to do it. So I'm still thinking about it. This also might be a short chapter. Anyways enough about that. See you at the end my lovelies!!!

The sun rose and it's says of light invaded the building casting a warm glow. Ash's eyes fluttered open as he awoke. He stretched his stiff body trying to shake the sleep from him. A content sigh was heard from him as he felt good.

He looked around confused for a bit wondering why he was in the center. The memories quickly flooded his brain, his eyes widen in shock. Pikachu was unwell, and he felt guilty for that, for running away from her. He shot up and made his way towards the front desk to speak with Nurse Joy.

Unfortunately He was met with an empty desk because Nurse Joy was tending to other injured Pokémon. He decided to just go check on Pikachu giving him a chance to apologize to her.

He made his way through the halls, he came to a halt as he now stood in front of the door to Pikachu's room. Taking a deep breath he hesitantly opened the door enough to poke his head inside.

He felt his heart break at the sight he was met with, Pikachu was laying on the bed hooked up to a machine that beeped every now and then. He felt tears threatening to fall. He blinked them away as he walked in quietly closing the door behind him.

He walked up and as soon as he was close enough to see her better, he felt a tear escape. Her face was sickenly pale. He grabbed her hand and brought it to his face he felt some peace feeling the warmth of her hand and the feel of her pulse. A humorless chuckle bubbled up from Ash's throat to then break the silence in the room.

He brushed his lips against her knuckles as he let out a silent sob. Tears ran freely down his cheeks. "I'm so sorry Pikachu, I know I hurt you and you being here is all my fault."

Suddenly he felt a hand wipe away his tears. He abruptly looked up to be met with Pikachu's smiling face. "I forgive you, I hurt you too and I hope you can forgive me for that. I had no excuse to kiss Ryan, you know I felt miserable and I wanted someone to take the pain away and-" before she could continue she felt a pair of lips on top of hers.

Ash pulled back from her and just smiled. He leaned his forehead against hers and whispered "I missed you baby," Pikachu felt heat rise up to her cheeks.

The sweet moment was ruined as the door was opened. They both backed away to look at the intruder. "Oh sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt" Nurse Joy said clearly embarrassed from walking in on the couple. "No it's fine, I was looking for you anyways" Ash replied.

Nurse Joy just nodded before speaking once more, "I ran a few test on Pikachu, all seems well but I got a doctor who will run a few more just to her sure" Ash cocked his head to the side clearly confused. "Excuse me but may I ask why a doctor? I mean I you say I'm fine so shouldn't I be able to le-" suddenly Pikachu felt like she was about to throw up.

She jolted up and ran to the bathroom in the room. She hunched over the toilet and emptying out her stomach. She felt a a hand rub her back soothingly.

She was done as she rinsed her mouth out trying to get the sour taste out of her mouth. She wiped her mouth and walked back into the room. She saw Nurse Joy staring at her then turn to Ash, "have you two been sexually active?" Ash felt flustered by the very personal question.

He couldn't say anything as he felt tongue tied, Joy just giggles talking that as a 'yes'. She now had a feeling as to what was wrong with Pikachu. "Okay well the doctor will come by later" with that she left but before she closed the door "remember use protection." Both Piakchu and Ash were crimson red as they deadpanned.

Ash wondered why Nurse Joy would ask such a question, he just shook his head as he wanted to forget the embarrassing moment. He turned back around as worry waa etched on his face as he stared at Pikachu. "Are you feeling better?" He questioned, she just nodded her head as her eyes felt droopy.

Ash took notice and got the hint. He strolled over and kissed laid a kiss on her forehead and told her rest. He tip-toed out and made his way to the cafeteria after hearing his stomach grumble.

He sauntered over. As he entered he eyed Brock sitting with that guy he met last night. 'Ryan?' He forgot his name. Ash took notice of Ash's presence and waves him over to sit with them. She obliged not before eyeing the food as his mouth started watering. He shook his head, he had to be patient.

"Hey Ash nice to see you up and about. By the way where were you it's kinda late and you are usually early for breakfast" Brock commented "I went to see Pikachu" he kept it short. Ryan swallowed the food in his mouth and was about to speak but was cut short as Ash's stomach growled making Brock chuckle.

"Go get food then we can talk" Ash nodded his head and went to get food.

He quickly came back with two plates piled high with all kinds of things to eat from fruits to fried chicken. He took his seat and dug in without uttering a word. Ryan just blatantly stared at him amazed at his eating, "fascinating huh" Brock chuckled. He smiled also watching the younger raven head.

He was going to be honest throughout his journey with Ash there was a point in time where he felt attracted to the younger. It made him discover he was in fact bisexual but even then he now saw him as a younger brother, one he had to take care of.

Ash started choking and Ryan passed him the glass of orange juice that lay on the table. Ash quickly drank it until his coughing fit was gone. "Thanks" he muttered clearing his throat. "So...umm Ash how's Penelope?"

Ash told them what Nurse Joy said about the Doctor coming to do test on Pikachu to make sure she was really okay. He left out the details of her throwing up because he didn't want to worry them more than they already were.

The trio spend time sitting there talking and getting to know Ryan. Hours passed as they laughed, joked, And simply talked.

Meanwhile at the front desk a bubbly Nurse Joy was looking at some paperwork when a voice caught her attention. "Hello Nurse Joy, long time no see" Joy looked up and smiled seeing who it was "Hi Doctor Nickels. How are you?" Dr. Nickels smirked

"Very well, so where's the patient I'm seeing."

Nurse Joy asked him to follow her as they mad their way to Pikachu's room.
