Author's Note: I had to compress Chapter 10 a little. I originally wanted Issei to speak with Sairaorg about his situation, but I could not fit it in. While Serafall built her resort solely to compete with Rias and the Gremory's, Sairaorg built his resort for a different reason.

Since this is the end of the Dream World arc, it's time to put the attention back on Rias and her Gremory Gala. What will happen to Issei and the 8 pawn pieces remains to be seen.

Chapter 10:

The Ultimate Fallout

Issei wakes up and finds himself back in the boiler room again. This morning, Rias is the one who wakes Issei up.

"Issei, I want to see you in my office. We have some issues to talk about regarding the work you did yesterday," Rias speaks to Issei in an angry tone.

"Umm… yes," Issei makes unapologetic reply. He knows Rias wants an explanation over the pornographic themes Issei used to decorate the resort yesterday. Without delay, Issei heads over to Rias's office. Issei barely squeezes into her office since it is jammed with 100 crates full of complaints. Once Issei is inside Rias's office, Issei has trouble finding a place to sit down. Rias's desk is also completely hidden under the complaints. Issei and Rias ends up sitting on top of the crates.

"Issei, you know that this is a family-friendly resort. What you did yesterday is obviously inappropriate."

"Yes, and…"

"I am upset that you would depict me such manner. Please keep all the H to yourself, Issei."

"Yes, maim…" Issei pretends to respond obediently.

"I am also disappointed about the mural you painted yesterday, Issei."

"Well, it did look nice. I mixed my colors well and I was able to get the people in the mural look life-like," Issei tries to emphasize about the positives regarding the mural.

"The mural had several problems. For one, you painted my hair green. Issei, do understand the importance of my red hair? Crimson red is a special color that represents our bloodline, the Gremory's. To make a mistake like that means you are attacking our family values."

"Umm… I didn't paint your hair green to bash your family." Issei tries to hide the fact that the mural on the wall is Grias and not Rias. "I just wanted to try out my new mix of colors. Not only you got re-colored, but Asia, Akeno-san, Kiba, and the others got re-colored too."

"Be quiet! I will not accept this type of art. No matter how I see it, it's a big disgrace to your master. For doing something like this to your master, I am going to have to give you discipline. 5000 whacks!"

As Rias gives Issei his dose of whacks, she makes more negative comments at Issei. "Also, due to you helping out with Sona, we now have two competitive resorts that have opened or will open soon. This is putting serious financial pressure on our resort you know. We already have too many problems to fix."

Issei remembers Grias's words about work and lashes back at Rias. "It's always about your resort and your money. Why isn't it about me? All you do is authorize the head handyman to boss me around as much as he likes. Why don't we discuss problems I am currently facing? You always did that when we were in Japan."

"Issei…" Rias stops to think for a moment. "But Issei, I want to see this resort succeed. It's the first time I've ever ran a business by myself. There are hardships and difficulties, yes. However, I have to make me family proud after they sunk so much money into building up this place. The resort is falling apart and I really need all of you guys help to save this place."

"Well, Buchou. If you managed this place better, it would not be in a condition like this. After all, are you the owner and president of this place?"

"Buchou?" Rias is shocked that Issei has resorted to calling her 'Buchou'. "Wait, Issei."

"I learned that people will perform better in their jobs if it's for appreciation instead of service," Issei uses the words he learned from Grias at Rias.

"No, it is for appreciation. If we all work hard, this resort will become successful. We'll get good reviews and ratings. Many guests will return to our place and we'll make lots of money."

"It's only appreciation for you. I don't want to work with you anymore… Buchou!"

"Issei, let's talk about this!" Rias tries to catch Issei as he storms out of the office. However, Rias trips over the crates of complaints. As she gets back up on her feet, someone knocks on the door.

"Yes, come in."

"Oh Rias! I'm glad you're here. I just received 3 more crates of complaints from the Millicas Grill. These people are complaining about the quality of the meat. The meat arrived on table in an untimely manner. It was also overcooked and a few customers mentioned about not getting enough steak sauce. One customer also complained that table was dirty when they sat in it."

"Yes… just put those crates over in the staff conference room two doors down," Rias points right.

As Ravel sets the crates down in the conference room, another hotel staff arrives and gives Ravel another crate of complaints.

"Oh! Ravel, I have another crate of complaints for you. These are all from the 'Stop 'n' Pop Refreshments'. They ran out of ice yesterday and customers ended up with hot Cola and hot sparkling water. Another customer had a flat soda. I'll just give this to you right now. There's another crate that's almost full so I need to take care of that. See you later…"

"Just put that crate in the conference room too."

As Issei looks around at the hotel, he realizes the poor condition the resort. The carpet is torn, the walls have dents, and some of the lighting fixtures don't work. The head handyman blames Issei's absence as the reason for this mess. Without Issei, the other handymen cannot successfully repair all of the damages. Once again, Issei chooses not to help the head handyman and decides to visit the two other resorts Rias talked about.

The first competitive resort is called The Leviathan Lodge owned by Serafall Leviathan, Sona's sister and one of the Satans of the underworld. As Issei walks inside, he is attracted by the different shades of Pink used to color the interior. Being a Magical Girl Milky fanatic, Serafall obtained permission to decorate her resort with Magical Girl Milky elements. There's also daily live-action show of Magical Girl Milky starring Serafall herself. In her live-action show, she pretends that she is using magical powers to obliterate evil monsters. She also invites little teenage girls to participate in the show. At the end, Serafall gives them a photo of her in Magical Girl Milky cosplay with her autograph.

The second competitive resort is called The Bael Box, owned by Sairaorg Bael, also the head of the most powerful Devil clan in the underworld. Since the resort is still under construction, only the hotel portion is open. In the Bael Box, everything is served with perfection. The towels are neatly folded, the soap is neatly placed in the soap dish, and the baggage is delivered promptly. Also, the staff and handymen do meditation exercises to keep their minds sharp. Issei is impressed the level of professionalism at the Bael Box. Even without the extra facilities that resorts offer, this resort could easily earn 5 stars.

After another day has passed by, Issei heads back to the waterfall hoping to meet Grias. As he approaches the newly constructed park, located before the waterfall, a large monster comes up behind him and tries to eat him. Issei quickly protects himself by transforming into his Scale Mail mode. He uses his Illegal Move Trident attack and fires two rockets at the monster with the Bishop mode. The monster quickly faints.

As Issei continues to escape, additional monsters appear. He also hears the head handyman shout in his megaphone. He is standing atop the newly constructed deck.

"You can't run, Hyoudou. I warned you that if you skipped out on work again, I am going to feed you to a monster. I told you that I have good senses and I knew you were going to hide over here. Give it up now buddy and surrender to me."

"Try to stop me, head handyman," Issei shouts, hoping the head handyman can hear him.

One of the monsters picks up Issei and tries to eat him. Issei is able to free himself, but another monster grabs Issei. As other monsters try to take a piece of Issei, Issei can sense an opening. First, he changes to the Rook mode with his armor. He quickly breaks free from the palm of the monster and lifts the monster up on one leg, the monster falls flat on the ground. Issei then lures the rest monsters to him. As the monsters all attempt to grab Issei simultaneously, Issei changes to the Knight mode with his armor and quickly makes a dash toward the waterfall. The monsters collide together and knock themselves out.

"You'll pay for this. I'll make sure you get eaten!" The head handyman shouts as he looks at the fainted monsters.

In the resort of the other world, Issei finds a note on the table in the throne room.

"Dear Issei,

I am busy setting up the theatre at Rockview Palace. I will be finished soon so please meet me there.

See you soon, Grias."

"Hmm… Rockview Palace? Where is this?" Issei looks at the maps and directory signs throughout the resort. He is unable to understand where to go. Luckily, someone comes to help him.

"Ah, you must be Issei-san correct? Master Grias has been talking a lot about you lately. If you are looking for her, she right down the end of the east wing."

"Wow, thank you very much," Issei thanks the passerby and joyfully dashes to the east wing. Issei arrives in front of two large wooden doors. He opens one of them and slowly walks inside, finding the room to be pitch black. As the door closes behind him…

"Boom!" A large spotlight shines onto the stage.

"Welcome, welcome to the fantastic show," Orangelo makes an announcement. "For tonight, please enjoy a live-action show of Chichiryuutei Dragon." A loud applause follows.

"Tonight's episode is, 'I Discovered a New Key'."

Orangelo walks out of the way and pulls the curtain up. On stage is Issei Gremory painting a picture of the scenery in front of him. Suddenly, an earthquake occurs without warning. Next, a monster pops up from the bottom of the stage.

"Wahaha… I've come after you, Issei Gremory. I am the Underground Hulk and I will bury you deep underground for the rest of your life. Your beloved Switch Princess is already there so this should be easy." The Underground Hulk covers the scenery Issei Gremory was trying to paint.

"Switch Princess? No! How could this be? I have to do something. I am the hero of this show."

"Your days of being the hero are over. It's my turn. Now, be gone!" The Underground Hulk creates quicksand around Issei Gremory, forcing him to sink in.

"Anyone, gods, please help me."

Right when Issei Gremory is about to be fully immersed in quicksand, a wave of water runs right against the Underground Hulk's back, weakening it. The quicksand also disappears, becoming a large pit for Issei Gremory. Suddenly a new figure comes on the screen. The figure is Eurasia, playing as a goddess.

"Issei Gremory, I am the great Goddess of Power. Do not be afraid for your superhero powers are located deep inside you. The Switch Princess's breasts resemble a key and your fingers resemble a lock. When the two body parts hit, the key is in the lock that unseals your powers. If the Switch Princess disappears, you have only lost the key. However, the lock that unseals your powers still remains. Think of your favorite things to touch for that object will become a new key for you lock."

"A lock?" Issei Gremory tries to understand the words from the goddess as he gets lifted from the pit. Knowing the he is the Oppai Dragon, he quickly makes one poke at the breasts of the goddess before the goddess lets go of him. Suddenly, he realizes that his armor is appearing. In a matter of seconds, he is now the Oppai Dragon. Now with superhero powers, the Oppai Dragon flies up in the air and quickly makes one solid punch at the Underground Hulk. The Underground Hulk suddenly breaks apart. All that is left is the Switch Princess. He uses the dirt from the Underground Hulk to fill in the pit.

"You may look big and strong, but you're nothing more than just sand." Issei Gremory than walks over to the Switch Princess, played by Grias.

"Thank you, Issei. You saved me."

"I'm glad you're back."

"Hey! How did you manage to transform without me."

"That's a secret. You'll find out eventually."

With that, the live-action show ends. As everyone gives their applause, the person who played Issei Gremory makes an announcement.

"Thank you so much everybody. However, we have a special treat for today."

The audience is curious of the special treat. They guess that the actor for Issei Gremory wants to throw prizes at the audience. He continues.

"I am just a handyman who volunteered to play Issei Gremory. However, there is an actual Issei among this audience. This Issei is also the real Oppai Dragon." Issei, the audience seats, knows the handyman is referring to him. He tries to hide himself until the spotlight points right at him.

"…and here he is."

"Oppai Dragon! Oppai Dragon!"

"What am I supposed to do?"

Chineko and Fiba walk down the aisle to escort Issei. "Issei, go up on stage. Show them your power."

Issei walks up to the stage and is asked to demonstrate some of his powers. Issei transforms into his Scale Mail. Then, he shows his Illegal Move Trident. He demonstrates the power of a Knight by zipping across the theater at a fast speed. He ends up pulling a guest onto stage.

"How is that, everyone?"

Everyone, including the guest gives applause.

After the live-action show, Grias and everyone return to the throne room. She then asks Issei to be seated at the table while brings out a large wooden box from the other side of the table.

"So, Issei, it's been a few days since you've visited my place. How do you feel now?"

"I feel great. You know, Grias, I always look forward to visiting you, your resort, and this other world. It's always pain to go through another day in my regular world. Now, my master Rias won't make an attempt to understand me. It just feels like the burden of running a large resort has completely taken over her mind."

"I understand how you feel Issei. You know, I am also glad that you come here. I never had someone as enthusiastic as you. I really you would do great if you became my servant?"

"Your servant?" Issei asks Grias.

"Yes. Issei, it would be nice if you stay with us forever. We can enjoy more activities together. I'll even move your bedroom next to mine."

"I am glad to do so. What do I need to do?"

"Take this present." Grias hands Issei the large wooden box. Issei opens the wooden box and finds a red globe ball.

"This globe ball is a symbol that you are my servant. Just like how Rias uses pawn pieces to signify ownership, I use the globe ball instead. If red is not your color of choice, I have many other colors available: Green, blue, black, you mention it." Grias shows Issei some more wooden boxes on her shelf.

As Issei looks at the ball, he begins to hesitate.

"Don't stress out, Issei. Think about what Rias has done to you. You aren't going to be any better if you went back now."

"Just take it, Issei-san."

"Take it, Issei-kun."

Issei thinks to himself. "Grias and everyone are right. If I go back, there's nothing good in store for me. Since I killed the head handyman's monsters, I created new ruckus. Rias supports the head handyman and will probably put me to death for betrayal of master. It's time for me to move onto a new life." Issei accepts the globe ball. Suddenly, all of the pawn pieces belonging to Rias Gremory fall out of him and fly away. With the pawn pieces gone, Issei has completely detached himself from Rias. The globe ball is also an indicator that Issei is now Grias's servant. With that in mind, Issei no longer returns to the real world when he goes to sleep in his room.

Meanwhile, Rias has something planned at the Gremory Gala in the real world.
