Sometimes, Steve forgets that Tony is a genius.
It's not hard, really. The man is easygoing at best, and self-absorbent at worst. There's very little of Howard that he can see in him, although he takes great care not to bring it up after that first time.
But at times like these, where Tony very grudgingly lets him into his workshop, that he sees; and he remembers.
Watching him calibrate and create and mutter incomprehensible things under his breath can only be described as amazing.
And it's also at times like these that Steve feels his respect grow for him.
