I'm not going to waste time talking. Ah but while re reading the past chapters I realized Ikuto went a little OCC sorry about that.

I don't own anything

Enjoy

Amu

I rubbed my bare arms. School got out yesterday and today was the day of the beach trip. My heart panged a little when I realized Ikuto and I never made up. I shook my head, Utau went out of her way to invite me to the beach, I should at least enjoy it.

When Utau's van pulled up into the driveway, I shouldered my bag and waved bye to Ami and my Mom. I tried to look happy with a smile on my face, but it all dropped when I saw Ikuto sitting in the passenger seat.

"You didn't know? Ikuto's my big brother." Utau said while taking my bag, "My parents just wanted him to watch over us and make sure that we don't get into any trouble. Don't worry, he's like a cat, he'll be sleeping most of the time. Come on everyone's waiting in the van."

What could I have done? I took Utau's hand as she helped me into the van.

There were four other people in the van, two of whom I've never met. A girl who looked a little childish, but cute. Another girl who looked mature and like a doll.

"That's Yaya and Rima. You already know Nadeshiko and Kukai, he's here with Ikuto." Utau said introducing everyone, "This is Amu."

We exchanged greetings and set off for the beach. I tapped my feet and wringed my hands nervoulsy, but relaxed a little when Kukai flashed me a smile. Three days shouldn't be so hard.

The atmoshpere was a little awkward at the start of the trip, but soon everyone started talking and getting to know each other better.

"Is that your real hair color?" Rima asked me

I turned a little red from embarassment, "Yeah, but it's a little childish isn't it."

"No, it's really pretty,"

"I like it! It's so cute." Yaya said.

"Yup, Amu is a very pretty girl." Kukai said almost too casually

My face flushed red. And Utau shot a look at Kukai.

"She is" Ikuto's voice from the front sounded.

My face went even redder. I covered my face with my hands and looked away from everyone. Thankfully, we reached the beach a few minutes later or else we would've had to suffer a very awkward silence.

"Have fun kids, don't get into trouble," Utau's Dad waved bye, "I'll come back to pick you up in three days."

Everyone grabbed their luggage and hauled everything to the beach house. It was a nice little house beside the seashore, and plenty of space inside.

"The two boys will share one room, two girls will share the smaller room and three girls will share the other room."

The two boys grabbed their things without another word and went into their room. Yaya, Rima and Nadeshiko grabbed their things and went into the bigger room which left Uatu and me.

"I hope you don't mind that we share a room, those three like to stick together."

"It's fine." Although I was hoping to share a room with Nadeshiko

But when Utau opened the door, I was glad I shared the room with her. There was a large window and a beautiful scene of the ocean.

"We get the view." Utau grinned, "The best room in the house. Now let's hurry and get dressed. I want to hit the beach before it's too late."

Ikuto

"What the hell was that?" I asked Kukai

"Huh? What are you talking about?" He asked while pulling his swimming trunks on

"Saying Amu's a pretty girl." My face couldn't help but turn a little red when I said those words.

"Hmm? So you're saying Amu isn't pretty?"

"No, she is. I mean—"

Kukai put his hand on my shoulder, "Don't hurt yourself trying to explain, anyways that box full of cranes in your bag is for her right?"

"Gosh, don't go looking in other people's bags."

He shrugged after putting a shirt on, "Her face looked really happy when you agreed that she was pretty."

"shut up." I mumbled before dressing myself.

After Kukai and I got ready we waited for the girls in the common room. The girls were taking way too long so we played cards.

"Sorry did you wait long?" Utau asked when they finally came out

"Yeah, what took you so long? You were only changing into your swimsuits."

"Amu's swimsuit had a rip so I lent her one my mine."

My ears turned a little red, I thought Amu would wear the pink and black one piece that she always wore. Utau wears bikinis and two pieces. I looked over at Amu and her face was red. Everyone was wearing t shirts over their swimsuit, but I couldn't help but feel a little curious.

Utau clapped her hands loudly, disturbing my thoughts. "We have lots of sunshine time left. Let's have fun at the beach!"

Everyone ran out enthusiastically. Kukai grabbed a rent surfboard and started riding waves. Yaya and Rima were playing in the water. Nadeshiko was sitting under a parasol, reading. I looked around and saw utau and Amu tanning.

Everything seemed fine so I decided to follow Nadeshiko's example and sat down under a parasol, folding cranes.

Amu

"Utau wait!"

"What's wrong? Come on, take off the shirt."

"But, I've never worn a two piece before. I'm not used to showing so much."

"It's fine, you look great. Gosh it was hard enough to get you out of the room with a t shirt, you can't have a thorough tan with a shirt on."

I tried to fight against Utau but eventually she slipped the baggy t shirt off of me and buried it in the sand.

My face turned red when I looked down at the swinsuit again. It was the same color as my old one, but it showed way more and had little bows.

"See, you look great. Now stop complaining."

"Yes ma'am" I mumbled

"I'm going for a quick swim, if you need anything Ikuto's over there and so is Nadeshiko. Also, this is a private beach so no weirdos will come."

Before I could protest or make her stay with me, she gave me a little wave and ran off towards Yaya and Rima. I suddenly felt lonely in the vast beach. I looked around, Ikuto and Nadeshiko weren't too terribly far away. I rubbed some sunscreen on my arms and legs before lying down and closing my eyes.

The sun's rays beat down me, I felt so hot but so comfortable. I felt serene and at ease for once. Im glad I came to the beach.

"Hey."

I opened my eyes with much difficulty and blinked against the harsh sunlight. Once my eyes adjusted I got up and looked at the person who was talking to me.

Two guys, whom I didn't know, were standing next to me.

"Hi?" I said not sure what I was suppose to say

"Do you want to go on a swim with us?"

"I'm sorry, I don't swim and I'm here with friends. This is private property I suggest you leave.

"Come on, don't be like that. You're friends won't mind, let's have some fun together."

They grabbed my arms and started dragging me along with them. I dug my feet into the sand in an attempt to stop.

"Wait, wait I can't swim." I said when we neared the water

"Then that makes this all the more fun."

In a last ditch effort, I brought my leg up and kicked one of the guys. He yelled out in pain and I took my chance to run.

My feet kept slipping on the sand and my vision was still blurry from the sunlight. I felt someone grab my hair and jerk me back.

"Let go!" I yelled uselessly.

But then the hand holding my hair was gone. I looked behind and saw Ikuto.

"Don't you dare touch her hair," he growled

"Who the hell are you?"

"Why the hell do you need to know? You just need to know that the guy who's going to kick your ass is ikuto."

"Don't be acting so cocky just because you managed to puch me once."

"Look who's being arrogant now, bring it on. I can't possibly lose in front of someone I love."

I'm sorry I want to try harder when I write but I tend to get distracted easily. I've been so out of it these past few weeks I've sort of been zombing my way through the day. Zombing? The characteristics of a zombie? I think I invented a word am I allowed to do that? See? I'm so done .

I'm a tad bit unsatisfied with my writing, please review and tell me what I can do to get better other than keep writing cause I know that. I'm none too good with english grammar but english is my strongest language. Please I really want you guys to enjoy my stories and manifestations of my imagination to the fullest.

Btw if any of you watch Durarara, I'm working on a few stories so watch out for those too.
