Nessie and I were in town eating at the diner because the only human food she would eat more like only food she can stomach down and that taste good to her. Would be any type of pancakes, waffles, pizza and her basic fruit and vegetables. She got a phone call and smiled big as she answered it.
"Jere, Hey what's up"
"What are you doing later on today?"
Nessie looked at me and answered "Nothing why?"
"I'm having a bonfire today at La Push. Since your always there I figure you can pick the spot. And hey you know the way I do it, the more people the better"
"Okay, I'll invite everyone one I know. Jeremy and please dont-"
"I know I know no drugs or alcohol. I'll see you later"
"Okay I'll see you there" she said hung up the phone.
"You really care about him" i said.
"Yeah like the little brother I never had"
I arrived at La Push with the whole pack except Leah. She didn't wanna come of course. I found Nessie talking to Jeremy. I approached them.
"Carlie this a great spot you pick" Jeremy said.
"You said it yourself I spent a lot of time here" Nessie said. Nessie saw me coming and smiled.
"Jacob this is Jeremy. Jeremy this is Jacob" she greeted us
"Great to finally meet you man. I've heard a lot about you" Jeremy said and offered his hand. I shook it
"Same here"
"Well food and drinks are over there so help yourselves" he said and left.
It's was around midnight most of the people had left already but Nessie stayed so, so did I and the pack and a couple of more of her and Jeremy's friends. We sat around the fire. While everyone else was talking. Nessie was sitting across from me.
"Seriously Jeremy how can you forget to bring a radio. I mean what are you suppose to do" a girl told Jeremy and he just got up and talked to Seth and they left together.
He came back with Seth. Both of them had a guitar in their hand.
"Hey Carlie. I remember that you use to play guitar and had a killer voice" Jeremy said. Nessie was just laughing but then got serious once Jeremy had said that.
"Whaat? No" she said.
"Come on Carlie it has been a while-" Seth began than Nessie cut him off. Nessie smiled.
"Really Seth?" Nessie said still smiling.
"Pick a good day to bring my car" Seth said and sat next to Nessie. Jeremy handed the other guitar to Seth and Seth handed it to Nessie.
"Seth" Nessie winned. Everyone started telling Nessie to play and sing. Once she took the guitar everyone starting clapping and she covered her face with her hand.
"Come on Carlie" Seth said and smiled at her and she smiled back. She placed the guitar on her lap and looked at Seth again.
"Ready, when you are" Seth said smiling
"I might just kill you for this" Nessie said smiling back.
"Good luck with that" Seth said.
Nessie started to play the guitar and Seth followed.

Nessie sang. Her voice was so beautiful like an angel. Why didn't I know she could sing or that she played the guitar . I knew that Edward was teaching her to play piano but that was years ago and from the looks of it she was that interested. My thoughts all disappeared as I watched Nessie perform then her eyes left the guitar and were now on Seth. She smiled at him and he smiled back at her.

When they finished everyone myself included clapped.
"Wow that was great" Amanda said.
"You guys sing beautiful together" Amy said. Nessie and Seth both laughed.

"Yeah, I did" Nessie replied.
"You know if you two would go out you guys would be like the power couple of the whole school" Amanda said. There was an awkward moment between Claire, me and the pack.

"Then don't you guys feel the need that you guys own it to each other to just at least try things out with each other" Amanda continued.
It was beginning to me more clear to me that Nessie's and Seth's friendship is beyond just that. They have a relationship. They talk all the time. They together all the time. They know each others secrets. My train of thought can to quick stop.
"Well there was one point we're I was crushing on him" Nessie said.
The whole packs mouth dropped. Especially Seth and also mine. Nessie never admit it until now. The only reason I knew was because Edward read her thoughts and was discussing it with Bella and I had. Hearding her say it just bugged the hell out of him. I just wanted to get up and leave but I didn't want to make a scene.
"Really?" Seth asked. Nessie nodded and smiled
"Who do you think Superman was about?" She questioned.
"Well-" Seth started and looked my direction and Nessie just shook her head.
"Well! I absolutely love to hear this song you wrote about Seth" Claire said. Quil gave her a look and then she looked towards me. She winked at me
"Play it" she told Nessie
"Yeah" everyone else but the pack agreed. The pack felt that I was in more position to heard this song. But I needed to. I wanted to know what she felt or still feels about him.

Everyone enjoyed the song. I got a phone call right after. It was my sister I tried to keep the conversation with her as long as I could but then a supervisor came and told us it was time to leave because some of them were under age so I told my sister I would talk to her later. Everyone was leaving. I saw Seth give Nessie his keys. Nessie must of came running. They hugged goodbye. Nessie's friend were half way gone so Nessie had no problem speeding to Seth's car.I went after Nessie and caught up to her by Seth's car putting away the guitar. She heard me coming so she turned around
"Hey, did you have fun today?" She asked.
"Yeah" i replied.
"Good. Now that you've met some of my friends maybe we can all do more stuff together"
"Yeah i would like that... Hey. I didn't know you played guitar let alone sing. You have a beautiful voice"

"And that song you wrote for Seth was really sweet" i said. I wanted to see what Nessie would tell me about the whole situation. Maybe she would tell me what happened or what she feels or why she never told me.

She opened the car door and took out the guitar. We sat on the truck's tail gate she began to play.

"Jacob" she whispered. She opened her eyes and we both leaned into each other. Her lips were centimeters away from mine. She inhaled and closed her eyes and then so did I.
I felt Nessie's head move. When I opened my eyes, I saw the back of her head and she was looking behind herself.
"What?" I asked. She looked back at me
"You didn't hear that?" She asked a bit paranoid.
"No" i answered.
"It sounded like something running... really fast"
"Well Seth give you his car, it was probably him"
"Seth lives that way... The whole pack does"
"Maybe I should drive you home" i said. I also started to heard some sound come from deep in the forest but I didn't want to scare her so I was calm about it.
"Yeah maybe"
