Kagome POV
I could not believe what was happening! Naraku just went down one of the largest ramps in the park and I didn't even think if he could even skateboard in the slightest. I rushed over to the edge to see him rise up the other side smiling and I sighed in relief. I stepped back placing a hand on my hip watching others join him on the ramp. I sigh and smile watching others obviously challenge him but he seems to ignore them and focus on having fun more than anything else.
For a moment I thought I saw the young boy whom I fell in love with all those years ago. The one who was carefree and simply enjoyed having fun with others despite all of his issues he had at home before he turned into the jerk who treated me like shit one day out of the blue and somehow was dating Kagura. Despite it being in the past what he did to me still hurt in some ways.
I sighed as I ran a hand through my hair and looked at the scene before me. I smirk and see my opportunity borrowing Shippo's skateboard before going down the ramp close to Naraku causing him to almost fall off and lose his balance. Hours pass as everyone joins the party having fun. Soon it was midnight and I knew it was time for everyone to go home and get some rest. I smiled as everyone said their goodbyes in their own way as they leave to go home and get some much needed rest. Naraku and I were the last people to leave as he walks with me to my house.
We traveled in calm silence the entire time, it was awkward when we reached my door and I nodded to him smiling. I think tonight might have been the most fun I have had in a long time. I was too lost in thought to notice his face slowly leaning closer to mine. I blinked and was about to say good night when his lips met mine. My eyes widened in surprise staring as he kissed me. His eyes were closed and I could tell he was tense waiting for rejection...and I surprised myself when I realized I didn't dislike it.
