A/N: Hi… So, it's been a long time… A few months, to be exact. I got bored today, and I realized that people think I'm dead. In the end, I hate to keep people waiting, but y'know….

So, I suddenly realized that with Ninjamaster220's story on hiatus, I figured since I was so bored, I might as well keep writing this story.

Chapter 9 (For realz!)

The Endless Stare

~Ninja~

Until now, I'm willing to bet this story was almost believeable. Yeah, I don't think that's possible anymore. In the night, I started getting whispers. The whispers seemed so real, and they scared me. They scared me a lot…

I heard voices, mainly, Herobrine's. There were others, voices that I could swear I never heard in my life, that yet, seemed so familiar. "How could you?!", and "why?!"

With each passing night, the whispers became more and more frequent, until they made their way into my dreams. Yeah, I was scared. Really, really scared.

~X~

With that, the X-Light 9k was finally finished. In actuality, it was built years ago, in the times when the X-System was first created. In the end though, I decided to make some improvements, now that the wonderful thing known as stained glass was created. I was just lounging in the Epsilon level, wondering if I should head into town and start my usual trading. The villagers always liked it when I brought them some steel ingots. 'No, no, it's iron, X, IRON. People have told me millions of times that there is no such thing as a "steel ingot". Like how they told me to use a shovel for gravel, and not a pick…' I thought.

It was a sunny day, all was calm, so I decided to grab my armor and my swords, and headed to the village on my horse.

~gr8job~

The thing was shaking. It was shaking really bad. I didn't know what to do, I was confused and REALLY worried. According to the monitor, my coordinates seemed to be fluctuating. I kept on pulling repeaters and switches up and down in an attempt to stabilize the box and park it in one location. Finally, after 30 grueling minutes of attempting to stabilize the thing, I managed to do it. When it stopped, I immediately sprinted around the console towards the handbrake and flipped it.

Thank Notch…

I checked the monitor, and I saw the coordinates, and underneath, the time. 'Hmmm, I'm an entire 2 years in the past.' Yeah, that sounded about right. According to the ticks on the mean repeater, I was in the Nether.

~Sen~

I haven't shed gunpowder for a long time. The reason why was because I'd finally found a nice home where I could be accepted. Now though, with all these new people and this great journey, I couldn't help it. There was all this pressure, this need to survive. Our food stocks were low, and it was a miracle we even had the materials for Ninja's birthday party.

Dave had been working today, he said he managed to create a new potion that all people would know him for. We all tried it, and we agreed it was the greatest drink we ever had. Dave called it, the "Potion of Drunkness". He said it gave off a new effect he invented, the Drunk Effect. In truth, it was just a bottle of water mixed with random plants from here and there, and some seeds, which gave off a fruity, melon-y taste and forced you into a wave of nausea, strength, blindness, and slowness. It turned us into bumbling idiots with the strength of a creeper explosion in our punches.

We agreed to never drink it too much after Rick broke his foot by falling 6 meters down from a cliff because of the blindness.

Ouch.

While there were always mobs at night here and there, there wasn't really much bothering us, and I found it comforting. Still, it wasn't normal, which meant something was probably wrong.

"Hey Sen, you okay?" Ninja asked. I frowned, having not realized that I'd spaced out. "Uh, yeah, I'm fine."

~Ninja~

Oliver was gone. We figured that he'd died. Why do you ask? Well…

We were camping inside a cave, having sealed off all entrances and exits with dirt. Nothing could see us, we thought we were safe. We had a clock with us, so we could see the time of day. Oliver took a pickaxe and went down deeper into the cave before sealing it up behind us. "I'm gonna go down and look for some more iron, so we can make more weapons and armor." he said. Look how that went.

~THIRD PERSON POV~

While Ninja and the others were asleep in the camp, Oliver was looking for iron. Lots of iron, and that lead him to find a man named X. X said that he too was looking for iron. Steel, he had called it, before quickly correcting himself.

They decided they'd stay together, and as they were looking for iron, they struck the jackpot. Diamonds.

Now, both X and Oliver were reasonable people, and there were 4 diamonds, so it was pretty obvious what was going to happen. 2 for X and 2 for Oliver. Then, the creepers came. Lots of creepers. "Grab all the diamonds and get out of here! I'll fend them off!" X said. However, Oliver didn't run. He was a noble man, and he was a fighter.

"We may have just met, but I never leave people behind. Ever." Oliver said, and rushed into the hoard.

Before X could stop him, Oliver had already beheaded one creeper, then the next. X tried to help, but before he could even reach the creepers, they all as one, exploded.

~Ninja~

Everything was relaxing, and all was quiet. Oliver had been gone for hours, and some of us got suspicious. We decided to go down and investigate. It was quiet. Too quiet for a cave. After a while, Dave started shaking. Then Sen started to shed gunpowder. Rick seemed unfazed, but he was Rick. Eventually, Dave piped up. "Uh, guys? Are you really sure that Oliver's in trouble? I mean, he could just still be searching." Alteon snorted. "Oliver's a punctual guy. He's either in trouble or he's been hit in the head and doesn't know who he is anymore. Let's go." We'd been around eachother for long enough to know that Alteon was just that type of guy, but it seemed weird that he wasn't even the slightest bit worried about his friend's safety.

Before I could voice my thoughts, we heard a cry for help. It was a voice we hadn't heard before, though it almost seemed familiar.

A/N: So, how do you like it? I think it was a good way to get back into writing. I'm not sure if anyone's even gonna see this anymore though, since I've been "dead" for a while. I'll try to get back to updating this story, but I can't make any promises.

Now, since that's out of the way, before anyone asks, X is NOT an OC! He is a youtuber. He basically revolutionized Minecraft; he was the second youtuber to record and upload it. His channel is davidr64yt.

Also, I am now accepting OC submissions! Go ahead and submit your OCs, and if you'd like, make them into a plotpoint to keep the story going! :D

Read and Review, or the magical review fairy'll get you!

Thanks for reading,
