" He is right, I was there to tell him that I am ready to give divorce without any alimony..there I felt unwell, that's it.." Caroline rescued him.
" Divorce? This is news to me..when did we talk about that?"

Ruby embraced her Aunt with her tiny hands. Then Esther showed up, she looked a bit embarrassed, anyhow she managed to say, "How are you feeling Caroline?"
"I am good." Caroline replied curtly.
In the meantime, Bill arrived with Daniel," Caroline, what happened to you honey?" Daniel asked anxiously.
" Normal things , Daniel..I am fine now." Caroline smiled.
"Doctor, I would like to take my daughter home.." Bill initiated the conversation with Sage.
" Yes , certainly, I have prescribed some more medicines, make sure she takes them regularly." Sage replied.

"Not a chance, Niklaus, and don't make a scene." Bill said sternly.

" Wife whom you threw out after making some vile allegations against her, you are saying about court, okay, let's see what the court decides after hearing our part of story.." Elizabeth said smoothly.
"Niklaus, let her go now.." Esther warned her son, "and Caroline, take care of yourself."
Ruby started to cry when her Aunt was leaving her, Caroline felt sad, Elizabeth felt bad too.
"She has been crying every now and then since you left, Caroline, have a heart, come with us, please.." Niklaus pleaded.
Caroline got into Bill's car, Niklaus bent on the window, "Caroline, I am not a monster, I made a mistake, I am sorry, I really am, Caroline , love..please, don't go, I will do whatever you say to make this up, please, come with me, I will never hurt you again, I promise.." he begged.

Bill's car disappeared from their vision, Katerina said," Mother, are you alright?"

Now, I have no idea , what will be his next step." Esther said while observing her son. He looked devastated, broken into pieces.
Elizabeth was yet to leave, she was collecting some reports, when she came outside, she saw the Michelsons. She saw Esther's colourless face.
"Seeing your child in such condition, I know the feelings Mrs. Michelson, but there are some matters, they are beyond our control." Elizabeth said to Esther. Niklaus looked at them, he wanted to reply when Esther signalled him to stop. She herself wanted to reply.
" I know Marshall, you are not consoling me , rather you are taunting me.." Esther said.
" You are misunderstanding.."
" Allow me to finish, I know what do you think of Niklaus, but one thing you must admit, that he has the guts to face his feelings, he has the guts to express them, he never escaped, but I cannot say the same thing about your daughter."
"Perhaps she lacks in that area, but one thing I can claim too, that she never imposed herself, onto anybody."
