Chapter 10: Healing and Departure

Helia woke with a start and hissed pain when he tried to sit up, looking around he saw that he was sitting the Alphea infirmiry, but the Flora was no where insight. He swung his legs over the side of the bed he was laying and attempted to sit only to be stopped by a voice entering the room.

"Don't even try it, you broke three ribs, a major concussion, various laserations and abrations, and a broken ankle and broken finger on the left hand," said Nabu.

"Flora, how is...?"

"She is still unconscious."

"Her injuries?"

Nabu looked at him sadly and with a sigh said, "Left leg broken, right arm broken, head injury, broken clavicle and a fractured pelvic bone, not to mention a serious drain on her magic, the drain is why she has yet to awaken."

"Where is everyone?" he said.

"Layla and Roxy are with Flora, feeding her there magic to help her revive, the others are with the headmistress trying to figure out what happened to cause everything to go bad."

Helia nodded secretly glad that they were not with Flora, mainly because her magic had already been thrying to heal her, but having it drained did not help, but now he wonder what had drained it.

He opened his mouth to ask when Nabu said, "They used the orb of Magix, it feeds off the magic of its target, it is usually used to find enemies not allies and friends."

Helia growled and thought, +You don't use something like that, even when Tecna got trapped in the Omega dimension, Timmy found using his own personal strengths and not an orb that could steal the only thing keeping Tecna alive.+

"Helia are you okay?" asked Nabu.

"NO I AM NOT OKAY!" he shouted, "THEY USED AN ITEM THAT DRAINED HER MAGIC! THEY HAD NO IDEA IF SHE WAS HURT OR WHAT! THEY USED IT AND DISREGARDED THE IDEA THAT SHE MAY NEED EVERY ONCE OF MAGIC TO SAVE HERSELF! THEY CALL THEMSELVES OUR FRIENDS BUT THEY PUT FLORA IN DANGER!"

Nabu, and Bloom, Sky, Brandon, and Stella who had just walked in, stared at him stunned and he said, "I need to make a call, I am arranging for me and Flora to be moved to my home realm of Ramera."

"Helia shes not awake yet, and we did what we thought was best," said Bloom defending herself and the groups choice.

"I'll make the arrangments," said Nabu standing up, "but for the record, myself, Layla, Roxy, Riven, Musa, Tecna and Timmy did not agree, the others finally gave in, after they saw the others were going to do it anyway, so don't be so hard them."

"Wheres Flora?"

"Next door, I'll help you over then make the call."

Hey wait a minute..."said Stella only to be cut off by the door shutting behind them.

Flora was very still and if he didn't know how badly hurt she was or see the epuipment she was hooked to he would think she was just sleeping. She was bandaged up heavily, but she did not seem to be in any pain so he took that as a good sign. He sat there just watching her for what seemed like hours, but was actually abotu 15 minutes, just thinking about everything that had happend and why their friends would do something so stupid.

Layla walked in and said, "Nabu has a ship waiting for you both, Roxy packed up your room and these men will get FLora ready for transport."

He watched as two medics walked in, they wore uniforms of the Tides medical corp and he knew she was in good hands, Faragonda told him that she wished he would reconsider, but she understood and that what they did was foolish. Riven though was the one who surprised him most though.

"Listen if you need me whether to talk or to fight, or anything just call and I will be in Ramera before you can say hero."

"Thanks Riven, I'll keep it in mind," he said as he followed Flora's gurney onto the ship.

He spared none of the others even a look as the ship took off, Layla, nabu, and Roxy would fly with them to Ramera and once they were secure and safe they would continue on to Tides.

"Will you ever forgive them?" asked Roxy as landed on Ramera.

"Maybe, it will depend on Flora when she wakes, but for right now all I can think is how they could have killed Flora and none of them seemed to care at all. I am so angry that just thinking about makes me want to hurt them, so until I cool down it would be best for me and Flora to stay here and rest."

Roxy nodded and helped the others unload thier things, a few hours later Helia watched the Tides medical ship speed off before he went to join Flora int eh shuttle his mother had sent for them.

Okay I know that Nabu is dead but when I started this story I had not yet finished season 4 I was only part of the way through so cut me some slack, also I am not trying to make the other girls look bad, or anything so don't worry I have no intention of breaking the winx up, and Roy will be part of the story but not as a love interest for Layla.
