My eyes make an imaginary line and follow to what she's pointing to. I look up seeing nothing there, my neck cranes and shrug my shoulders when I don't know what she is talking about. She points in the same direction getting a little impatient…I can tell because her tan skin is turning a light pink against her tight black curls.

I look up again, trying to understand what's up there. Danger? Maybe she's trying to fool me. My eyes wander for a little bit when I see a distinctive figure that's the size of two bunny rabbits…the hum of the object gives it away. It's a wasp nest.

I gasp lightly and feel some fright run through me creating Goosebumps on my arms, but I have enough common sense to not run out and scream getting myself killed, I remain still as Trish in the trees.

But then another realization hits me. This is The Hunger Games. These are no ordinary wasps; they are tracker jackers, one of the Capitols mutations to make the Games more engrossing and interesting to watch. Tracker jackers are genetically engineered wasps, the venom causes searing pain, hallucinations, and sometimes in serious cases, you can die. That's why the Capitol made them, like I said, to make the Games more interesting to watch.

Trish calms down, her skin back to its regular color, and she begins to make a sawing motion her tiny hands, then she points down to the Careers on the forest floor. Oh…I get it. She wants me to cut down the hive, and attack—or distract—the Careers so I can get away. Smart.

I begin to untie my rope around my legs and stuff it back into my sack. My legs tremble as I stand up because how long my butt has been smashed into the arm of this tree just to avoid the Careers. I start climb and glance down at them, they are crashed out. I smile and quietly climb the tree digging out my saw-like knife that Clove tossed at me in the beginning.

Once I am up the tree, I groan and remain still as I am five feet away from the nest. Sweat forms and slips down my forehead; I use my forearm to wipe it away onto my sleeve.

Now or never, I think.

If I don't saw this quickly enough, there will be a dead tribute from District Twelve. There's a reason they are called tracker jackers. I merge up from the tree and get a good grip lock on the knife. My fingers are probably white from the grip; finally I place the sharp edge of the knife and begin to move it, back and forth.

The tracker jackers are beginning to notice I'm disturbing them. They start buzzing at me and I continue to saw back and forth, hoping I won't get stung, but there's not a chance that won't happen. They fly around my face and I wave them away with my hands, they don't like that.

A sharp sting comes at my neck; I wince and gasp very loudly. My left hand grips the pain and I keep sawing at the tree. I realize how loud that was and look down, the Careers are still asleep but not for long.

Another stabbing pain comes at the back of my left hand. I wince again and saw, feeling weaker and weaker each second. Another stabs me at my neck…again and I slow down my sawing. The pain is emerging more but then it starts to fade. I can't feel it anymore. Their venom is making me feel woozy and dazed.

Finally, the tree snaps, cracks, and lands with a smash. I hear screams and hollers, the Careers. It's mayhem down there. Some of the Careers had the sense to remove their jackets and sacks to run away to the lake. Deadly, piercing screams of a girl run through my ears. Glimmer. She isn't so lucky.

I climb down the tree using the route I took when I was coming up. My foots slips and there I go, down, down, down the tree and onto the forest floor which looks like a puddle of mud at the moment.

I don't even realize how much my leg and spine hurts from the fall. It doesn't even faze me at this point, but I guess it must've been a harsh landing when I begin to hear a deafening tone in my ears.

Glimmer is shrieking hysterically, going mad, and trying to hit the wasps away with her bow, which is pointless. She calls for others for help but no one returns. I watch her fall within seconds, lay there on the ground, silently and still, her stomach is not moving so I can conclude.

I stand up, and start moving away, away from this place and the dead Glimmer. My eyes glimpse at her once more before I move away, her face is swollen and purple with lumps of stings upon her cheeks. This breath-taking, beautiful girl all smiles at Caesar's interview is surely unrecognizable.

The world twitches and becomes very hard to see. Glimmer is distant, so far yet so close to me. I stare at her swollen fingers wrapped around the bow…the bow!

My pace becomes quicker but it slows when the world is twitching again. I sigh… my breaths…I can hear them, but it's like a hush. I continue to walk and I see her, there with open and alert eyes. My fingers pull her grip off of the bow; I could hear my grunt trying to pry her lock with the bow. This is probably the part where I am hallucinating from those deadly stings from the mutated wasps.

I swear I can hear the attachment from her skin and the bow. The tips of my fingers slide up and down the swirly engravings of the bow. My lips start to smile and I grab the arrows from the quiver on her shoulder. Alas, I am with my bow and arrows. Just to think it took this much just to reach it.

My touch with the arrows is longer than I suspected because it must've taken Austin a long time to take out his stings...wait a minute…Austin? What's he doing here? I thought he was dead by now.

He dashes towards me, three of him does and I suddenly don't know which one is him. I look at all three of them; they all look very much similar. All the three Austin's collide showing the true Austin with a shocked expression.

"Run!" He shouts. The world is twitchy again.

"Run!" Austin shouts once again. I am very much confused, what's going on?

"Ally, go!" I stare at him, woozy and tired.

"Get out of here! Go!" He orders me. I tilt my head, why?
"What are you doing?! Go!" He hisses. His hands push me in a direction and I slowly begin to jog in that direction, I could care less about which way I'm going, probably north…or south…or east…maybe west?

The world is bending in unpleasing ways making my stomach turn and making me feel dizzy and sick. I look back seeing Austin battling Cato, who are both stung badly with tracker jacker stings.

I start to run even faster but it feels like I'm flying on a bed of clouds right now, with some white, angelic wings on my back. Something hits me and I realize…Austin Moon has saved my life.

The twitching happens and I can't take it anymore…I collapse to the floor and everything has turned black.
