Chapter 10
Being Strong
A week had past and a lot had happened. Bumblebee got his legs repaired and Jazz back to his normal condition, much to Ironhide displeasure, but Audrey and June, knew he missed it. Sector Seven was terminated, much to Audrey and Bumblebee's pleasure, having being tested and a bit tortured there. The dead Decpticons were disposed of in the Laurentian Abyss and with them 7 miles below sea level and subfreezing temperature; they weren't coming back anytime soon, hopefully.
At the home front, Audrey stopped having visions and weird dreams and slept whole night without waking up in the middle of the night. Sam and Mikaela hit off after Mission City and started going out ever since then. June told her parents and they weren't too angry. It would be lying to saw they didn't her completely. Then they saw Jazz and Audrey's ability… they started to believe. June was given the job of watching the security of the small piece of the Allspark and gave the government some her hacking tricks as agreement of not arresting her for hacking. In a way that was their way of thanking her. She admitted she would have rather taken money.
Audrey looked around as she sat on the hill with Optimus and the other Autobots alt mode. She saw June sitting on Jazz's hood, listening to her music. Jazz and had become close friends since the battle. June said she would let Jazz here some Broadway music… Audrey felt sorry for what Jazz would soon have to put up with. She looked to see Sam and Mikaela making on Bumblebee's hood like there was not tomorrow, poor Bee. Audrey smiled as she shook her head and grabbed her journal and started writing on a blank page:
There are things in life. You can never understand or you can understand, but don't know how to handle it. They sometimes say you have to be strong. What does that mean?
Audrey closed her eyes and smiled as she opened them and started writing again, now knowing the answer.
Being strong means growing and accepting. Every day we all say we are different, but yet we sometimes choose to deny it. But it doesn't mean that we're weak. We still are waiting to growing and reach it.
And as we grow will one day accept it. And that is the day we will be strong. Growing and accepting will make me stronger. And being strong is a never ending journey.
Audrey closed her journal and looked up to see Optimus standing looking at the town and the sky. "Optimus, what are you doing?"
Optimus looked to her. "I'm about to send a message to any Autobot still out there," explained Optimus.
Audrey smiled and looked back out there. "The more the merrier," she said simply. She didn't have to turn back around to see Optimus smile at her.
Audrey had different relationship with Optimus. Optimus offered to teach her anything she needed to know about Cybertron, if she wanted to. She gladly accepted. She soon saw Optimus as a second father and a wise teacher and she like it that way.
Optimus started to send his message as Audrey over heard.
"With the Allspark gone, we cannot return life to our planet and fate has yielded its reward, a new world to call home. We live among its people now, hiding in plain sight, but watching them in secret, waiting, and protecting. I have witnessed their capacity for courage. And though we are worlds apart, like us, there's more to them than meets the eye. I am Optimus Prime, and I send this message to any surviving Autobots, taking refuge among the stars. We are here, we, are waiting."
Audrey smiled as looked at her hand glowing and looked back over the city. "Yes, we are," she said softly, knowing this was only the beginning.
A/N: THE END! Again, I'm thinking about do a squeal. Let know if you want to. I'm thinking 90% chance I will because I had fun doing it. So a strong maybe. Till then I have other stories check them out. Bye till then.
