TRIS POV
WEEK 2
The date so far has been absolutely amazing. We went on the zodiac ride around Napali coastline and it was beautiful, I felt so at peace with the water surrounding me. The water sparkled all around me and I am sure if we were on the boat at night time, the sea would resemble the beautiful shade of Fours eyes.
Four had his arm wrapped comfortingly around me through the whole duration of the ride, when I asked him why he said,
"I don't know, it just feels right."
I couldn't say it any better to be honest. When I am with him I feel so at ease and that's definitely something I could ever say about one of my exes.
Right now, Four and I are sprawled out across the sandy beach of Papohaku Beach at night gazing at the starry sky. Will and Christina are here but they went somewhere else so we could have some special one on one with our dates. I remember Christina winking at me when we turned to go our separate ways.
"I can't believe you did that Four!" I laugh loudly at a story he tells me from his high school years. I then just realise how atrocious my real laugh is and throw a hand around my mouth in attempt to stop any more sound from coming out. I suddenly feel extremely embarrassed, laughing like a pig in front of a guy that I seriously like.
I am about to apologies for my ugly laugh when I feel a sudden spread of warmth course through my body coming from my hand. I look to see that Four's hand is gently placed on mine and he seems to be tugging it away from my mouth that I was covering. Once he has taken my hand from my mouth he holds it in his and says,
"There is nothing wrong with the way you laugh. In fact, it is probably the most beautiful sound I have ever heard. Don't hide it from the world."
The intensity of the moment is almost unreal however a small chuckle seems to escape my mouth and I begin laughing uncontrollably and soon Four joins in too. We are rolling around in the sand like children and laughing until somehow my body collides with Fours and I end up on top of him.
"Was that a little too cheesy?" Four questions a little smile tugging his lips.
"Yeah just a little," I say laughing a little but also awkwardly, I mean I am kind of lying on the guy.
"You have beautiful eyes," Four says looking deeply into what I would call plain eyes.
"I don't really think-" he cuts me off.
"You're beautiful," He continues his eyes never leaving mine.
"I thought we weren't going to be cheesy Four?" I question jokingly rolling off of Four trying to avoid a conversation about my physical appearance as I have never felt so great about it.
"I wasn't being cheesy; I was telling you the truth." Four replies with so much sincerity, I could feel my heart pounding. I never knew a date could be as intense as this one has been.
"Thank you," I respond almost whispering. I have never been the most confident person when it came to my appearance. I have never been one to think I was beautiful but always told I was. I felt like I could just blend in with the crowd. I was just plain, Tris. Growing up people told me I was "pretty" or "beautiful" but I never really think anything of it. But when Four says it to me, I believe him. I have no clue what this boy is doing to me but the effect he has on me is crazy.
There is a moment of silence till Four springs up and holds his hand out to me. The second I grab hold of his hand he begins running.
"Four! Four! We can't just leave Jeanine said we have to stay on the beach."
Four stops running effectively stopping me as well and asks me,
"Do you trust me?"
"Of course." I reply without hesitation.
"Then come with me, I've got you."
He swoops me up in his arms and I squeal in excitement and he runs.
About a minute later he gently puts me on the ground and tells me to close my eyes. I do as he says and he places his hands on my shoulder guiding me somewhere. As we get closer I hear a song playing and recognise it as one of my favourites.
"You can open your eyes now."
I open my eyes to be met with one of the most gorgeous scene I have ever seen. We are in some sort of Hawaiian hut with a big opening in the middle so we can look at the stars. Around me are beautiful twinkling fairy lights and beautifully set out table with food already on it.
The song is coming from a man sitting behind a piano and as the entrance of the song begins I instantly recognise it as one of my favourite songs. How did Four know all this. I turn to him to see him already staring at me.
"You did all this, for me?" I question almost in disbelief. I am not that special for someone to have gone through all this trouble.
"Yes I did and I would do much more."
I have never met a man like Four before, a real man. One so sweet and caring that actually cares about how I feel. I have never felt this way and I can't even describe the feeling, what feeling I don't know.
The man behind the piano playing begins to sing,
What would I do without your smart mouth?
Drawing me in, and you kicking me out
"Can I please have this dance?" Four asks me smiling a little. I smile shaking my head a little and he takes my hand and guides me to the middle of the little hut whilst the guy continues to sing.
He wraps his arms around my waist whilst I wrap my arms around his neck and we slow dance sweetly to the music playing.

And I'm so dizzy, don't know what hit me, but I'll be alright
I feel a deep rumble against my chest and realise it's Four singing. He sounds so beautiful, almost better than the one who is actually singing now.
My head's under water
But I'm breathing fine
Four points at me when he sings the next line goofily.
You're crazy and I'm out of my mind
I laugh a little but then decide to join in on the chorus.
'Cause all of me

He looks at me as we sing the song together swaying in the Hawaiian breeze.

We dance for the rest of the son and when it finally finishes we stay still in each other's hold.
"Today was fun," Four says looking down at me form where I am in his arms. Right now we are only a couple inches away from each other.
"Yeah, the ocean was really beautiful. Thank you Four for all of this I really enjoyed today." I reply shyly for some reason maybe it's because if I move a few inches closer we will be kissing.
"No worries, I wanted to do all of this for you and by the smile and blush rising on your cheeks I think I did well." He breathes out cheekily. Due to the close proximity I can feel his warm breathe on my cheeks making me blush.
"Oh shut up!" I giggle.
*TIME LAPSE*
"How y'all doing tonight?" Jeanine's voice booms through the ginormous mansion as we all sit, some sprawled out across the many couches.
"So I know how much you guys enjoyed the challenge-" Jeanine is interrupted by Uriah,
"Okay 'Miss Experiment' please don't take the piss. Today all I have been doing is hugging the toilet and I have not even eaten food. Not even one slice of freaking Dauntless Cake!" Everyone gasps at Uriah's proclamation. He hasn't even eaten his Dauntless Cake for the day and we all know how serious he takes that shit.
"I just don't have the appetite anymore all because of that stupid snow cone! Snow cones were the pride and joy of my childhood till you had to ruin everything for me. All those memories of Zeke and I running across the beach with a snow cone firmly held in my hand as I ate it, ruined. How do you feel knowing you ruined such an innocent boy's childhood?" We all stare at Uriah with surprise evident in our eyes. Although he is ranting about a snow cone what he said is almost smart and he seems serious. When is he ever serious? This incident really must have changed his life.
"Erm… I really don't know to respond to that so I'm just going to pretend you didn't say anything at all." We all laugh except for Uriah who is pouting not satisfied by the response he received.
"Okay so on to why I am here. As you guys know if the couple you send into the truth booth is a perfect match you will be one step closer to your one million dollars and you will also have 2 confirmed matches as so we have Lynn and Eric." Like a routine, we all clap and hoot together simultaneously.
"The couple you are sending to the truth booth is…"
"Christina and Will!"
A/N: Hi guys, I FINALLY UPDATED! This is definitely not one of my best chapters. We got a little FourTris going on and we see a bit of Tris' insecurities.
