twilightserius: HIKARI WILL PLAY A MAJOR ROLE IN THIS FICTION. Although in 02 I am terribly disappointed with her, she is my favourite character in digimon 01. The reason is, among the other chosen children, she has the most resolve to fight despite being physically weak. For the mental link, I will consider it and try to insert it somehow. Guess, let's just see how it goes ^_^

jozs001: Before I created this, I have been contemplating on Harry being somehow banished to the world of Monster Rancher/Monster Farm: Enbanseki no Himitsu. But frankly, since the anime I watched are all in English dubbed and the voices and conversations are RETARDED (for me anyways), I lost interest and go with this story instead. But the attacks in Monster Farm are definitely interesting… Again, we'll see how it goes ^_^
Tibalily (Guest): I believe the perfect form of all Greymon species have wings so no worries there. And are there any difference between dark type or light type? I didn't know about it so I wasn't planning to include it in this story. Thanks though for the info.
Warwolf16: I know right! Burninggreymon looks so badass :D But Risegreymon's gun also looks cool too. I really don't know which ones to go with :( Hmm… I really don't know if I made a good choice by adding a mutated sharingan for Harry but I really want to augment his perception abilities to balance things out since Havoc physical abilities far surpass Harry. Be rest assured though that those rinnegan, mangekyo sharingan or pms 'oops' I mean EMS (Seriously those eyes are wayyy too overpowered) will NEVER make a debut in this story nor its next book too.

Chapter 10: Double Attack, Vamdemon and Titamon! Take Flight Garudamon!
Digital World, Server Continent, Foot of a Mountain
"Hey! It's Yamato and Takeru! Koushiro's with them too!" pointed out Jou.
"YAMATOOO, TAKERUU, KOUSHIROOO!" yelled out Taichi as the children and their respective partners and Dorumon run towards their friends.
"Guys! I see Mimi and Palmon and… HARRY? HAVOC? Why are the two of you here?" asked Yamato with wide, disbelieving eyes.
"Yeah, we're here too. Thank you very much for the extremely warm welcome," retorted Harry sarcastically, unable to supress the amused grin. Meanwhile, the digimon are having their own reunions.
"It's been a long time but you guys get smaller huh?" asked a laughing Palmon.
"Shut up!" pouted the Tsunomon, Demiveemon and Motimon as Havoc, Gomamon and Palmon laughed uproariously. Then, the children and the digimon were introduced to Dorumon as they exchanged each other experience. And thus all of the children have been united once more except for one.
"By the way, where's Sora Taichi? I thought the two of you were close?" asked Harry with a straight face.
"WE'RE NOT! Or, at least… not like that… I mean…" mumbled a blushing Taichi.
"We don't see Sora in our way too? Did anyone see Sora?" asked Yamato.
"We didn't see Sora too," replied Jou as Harry shakes his head in negative.
"But wait… I'm not sure I see her but Sora-san did visit me in the Gekomon's castle. But it could be a dream too…" trailed off Mimi as the other children puts on a confused face as to why Sora choose to not be with them.
"Is that true Mimi?" asked Harry.
"That's why I said I'm not too sure," replied Mimi.
"Then, could I borrow your Digivice for a moment?" asked Harry.
"What for? Isn't Digivice used for only evolving our digimon partners?" asked Mimi as she handed her Digivice.
"If you think that Digivice's capability is only that, then you are sadly mistaken. If you have met Sora recently, I could use both my and your Digivice to locate hers," explained Harry as he points both Digivice to each other while pushing his magic to his Digivice. The mechanical device started to glow before a light shot out towards Mimi's Digivice. Once the light dies down, Harry returns Mimi's Digivice.
"Wow! What's that?" wondered Koushiro.
"That light just now traces the history of Mimi's Digivice. Basically, it scans any being that has been close to Mimi and if I do this…" said Harry as he sent another wave of magic towards the Digivice. Suddenly, 3D hologram of Shogun- Gekomon, Gekomon, Otamamon and the other children and their partners appears.
"These are the being that have been in close contact with the Digivice in the past three days. Hmm… Here! It's Sora and Piyomon. It seems that it's not a dream Mimi," exclaimed Harry.
"Ehh~~ What do you mean?" asked Mimi.
"Since Sora and Piyomon is detected inside your Digivice log, then you have met her sometime and that can only be when she visited you during your sleep," explained Harry as Mimi blushes; embarrassed by her actions that night.
"Then that means that Sora and Piyomon is really close right?" asked an excited Taichi.
"Yup! And since I've got her signature, something to identify her, I can use it to locate her whereabouts like this!" said Harry as he uses another magic to create a three dimensional map with two red blinking dots.
"Could these two dots be…?" asked Yamato.
"Yeah! It's Sora and Piyomon. And they are fairly a close indeed… Havoc!" said Harry suddenly.
"Already on it aibou! I got her scent around 3 o'clock of our position and is rapidly moving away. Let's go n- DUCK!" warned Havoc suddenly. Immediately, all of the children duck as several red stings are stabbed to the ground.
"These stings are…!" said Harry as he examined the weapon.
"Something's coming!" shrieked Mimi.
"There are three of them!" said a panicked Jou.
"It's Flymon; an insect adult level digimon! Virus type and it's special attack is Deadly Sting! Be careful everyone! It's-" said Koushiro.
"Poisonous! Now, less talk and move! It's coming again!" finished Harry as he dodges the stings while deflecting few of them with his magic, protecting a wide eyed Mimi as her eyes zone in on Harry's glowing hands.
"Mega Fire!" roared Havoc as he breathed out column of flames. Sadly, the trio Flymon was able to easily dodge the attack by flying over it and began another barrage of their poisonous stings.
"It'll be hard to beat them when they're flying around! Koushiro, have your Motimon evolve to Kabuterimon!" said Harry as he deflect another barrage of stings.
"Motimon shinka… Tentomon!" said Tentomon as Koushiro held his Digivice.
"One more time, Tentomon!"
"Tentomon shinka… Kabuterimon!" growled out the massive insect.
"Alright, Kabuterimon! Use your special attack and gather them into one place. Yamato! We need the help of Garurumon too." ordered Harry as he instruct Kabuterimon on the timing to strike the three Flymon as Yamato brought out his Digivice.
"Tsunomon!" shouted Yamato.
"Tsunomon shinka…. Gabumon! Gabumon shinka… Garurumon!"
"Garurumon, use your speed and cut off their means of escape and help Kabuterimon to corner them." instructed Harry as Garurumon shouted "Fox Fire" and darted all over the place to confuse the Flymon.
"Havoc, on my mark, fire directly at the three Flymon." ordered Harry. Havoc who have caught on to his partner plan, just nods as he continues charging his flame. After some time, Kabuterimon and Garurumon managed to gather the three Flymon in one place with the help of Dorumon, Veemon, Palmon and Gomamon while the other children watched the battle with wide eyes as Harry continue to bat away the lethal stings with hi glowing hands.
"NOW! Everyone, MOVE AWAY FROM THE FLYMON!" yelled Harry.
"MEGA VOLCANO!" roared Havoc as a massive fireball fly towards the cornered Flymon as the other digimon scrambled away from the attack. Upon contacting with the Flymons, the fireball exploded into huge conflagration as intense heat washes over the cringing children and their partners.
"Well, that take cares of that." said Harry.
"W-w-w-What… how… you… that…?" stuttered out Koushiro.
"How do you make your hands glow like that?" asked Mimi as Harry struggled in giving an excuse.
"N-now it's not the time for that. Sora and Piyomon is moving further away from us. We must go after them or we won't catch up with them." said Harry.
"That won't work with us twice Harry. You'll answer once we catch Sora?" demanded Yamato. Seeing the expectant faces of the other children and the other digimon, Harry just nods before bringing up the map and running after the errant Sora and Piyomon.
Digital World, Server Continent, Riverside
"SORAA!" shouted Taichi as a blue hat drifted away from their view.
"WAIT! STOP RUNNING FROM US!" yelled Yamato.
After some time and crossing a river, the children and their partners managed to catch up with the fleeing girl and her digimon. Upon looking at the back of Sora, she decided to run faster before coming to a halt at Taichi sudden appearance. Seeing that the other way is blocked by Yamato, Takeru and Harry with their partners and Dorumon, both Piyomon and Sora came to a stop.
"Why are you running away from us?" asked Taichi.
"Sora… she wanted to be alone," shared Piyomon.
"But why? Why does she need to be alone," asked Taichi.
"Because we overheard something from Picodevimon," replied the pink chick (bird?).
"But why so you need to be alone because of that? Picodevimon's a liar Sora," said Taichi.
"We know. We also know that he is planning to do bad things to us so that our crest won't be activated," revealed Sora.
"Did you know that each crest symbolises something? The key in to activating the crest is to stay true to that value and if you managed to show it, the crest will shine," said Sora.
"Taichi's crest means bravery while Yamato is friendship. Koushiro's is knowledge. Mimi's is purity. Jou's is reliability while Takeru's is hope. Harry's is benevolence while mine… mine is… mine is love." finished Sora as the other children including those that just arrived listened with rapt attention, each thinking of the time that their crest shine.
"That's good isn't it? Your crest matches you perfectly," grinned Taichi.
"Match? Love match me? Don't joke! You don't even know me so DON'T JUST SAID SUCH THINGS SO EASILY!" lashed out Sora.
"I'm sorry," said Sora. "It's just that… My crest won't glow."
"Picodevimon said that her crest won't shine because she doesn't know love," said Piyomon sadly.
"Doesn't know love?! You know that that's not true. Picodevimon always lies to us," said Taichi.
"No… This time… He's right. It… it happened some time ago… You see, my family is an ie-moto," shared Sora.
"What's an ie-moto?" asked Takeru curiously.
"It means that her mother is a master who teaches the art of flower arranging." explained Yamato.
Flashback begins
"Sora. Stay home and learn the art of flower arrangement," ordered Sora's mother sternly.
"I don't want that. I don't like flower! I have an important match in soccer today! Please understand…" complained Sora.
"Playing soccer with that kind of leg?" pointed out Toshiko.
"This… It's nothing!" shouted Sora.
"Be quiet. The flowers will wilt if you speak so loudly. Anyway, please sit down," ordered Toshiko calmly. Sora flinches slightly as she sat in seiza position due to the pressure to her injured leg (A/N: The proper sitting in Japan).
"I want you to quit soccer. You can't even learn to sit on your heels gracefully," ordered Toshiko.
"No! I told you that I like soccer Okaa-san!" complained Sora.
"Sora! How can you call yourself as my daughter?" reprimanded Toshiko as Sora started to get tears on her eyes.
"Why can't you understand?!" shouted Sora before leaving the home without her mother's permission.
Flashback ends
"We lost badly in that match and as a result, I can no longer stay in that club anymore since they thought that I purposely come late to the match so that they will lose. My mother… my mother doesn't see me as anything beyond the daughter of a flower arrangement school." finished Sora. After a brief moment of silence, Sora lets out a wail as tears pour freely from her eyes.
"S-Sora… umm… don't cry…" said Taichi as he tried cheering Sora.
"Leave her. Let her cry to her hearts' content. It will be better later," said Yamato while looking at the other direction, discomfort present due to the crying redhead.
"Yamato is so mature…" praised Gabumon.
"Unlike a certain someone," said Palmon while looking at Taichi.
"Well, certainly more than Taichi," said Veemon as Taichi looked on in dismay at the insult to him.
'Although I understand where she is coming from, Sora's mother is probably just… Nevermind, it's best that she understand that on her own. At least… at least her mother… her parent looked at her…' thought Harry as his earlier years started to play back on his mind.
"Aibou… you alright?" asked Havoc worriedly, having notice at his partner's mood.
"I-I'm fine. Thanks Havoc." smiled Harry. Dorumon looked on in confusion at the weird conversation between Harry and Havoc.
"It was you right? Sora-san… You were the one who warned Veemon to not eat the mushroom back at the amusement park," said Takeru.
"We knew that Picodevimon is planning something heinous with all of you. Although she wanted to be alone, she simply can't leave the rest of you alone," said Piyomon.
"For example, that time with the restaurant where Yamato and Jou is working at. Picodevimon purposefully remove one of the brick so that the table will topple. But Sora puts it back before anything happen." revealed Piyomon.
"I didn't even notice…" said Yamato.
"You didn't have to hide from us…" said Taichi.
"She wanted to be alone but she simply can't leave you completely. Please understand her…" said Piyomon sadly.
"I really like you Sora-san. So don't leave us anymore okay?" said Takeru innocently as Sora looked on in surprise.
"I don't like it when my family… I mean when everyone is separated," said Takeru.
"And as for you not knowing love, it's a lie. You may try to say otherwise but in the end, whether you admit it or not, we would know it from your actions. The way you don't seek glory in helping us is the most concrete evidence of it. You loved us so much that you decided to help us even though we won't say any words of gratitude to you. If that's not love I don't know what is." said Harry.
"So please, don't leave us again okay?" pleaded Takeru as Sora started to wipe her eyes.
"Okay, I won't. Thank you Harry… Takeru," said Sora quietly as a brilliant smile lit up on her face and everyone started sharing their experiences and what the other may missed on as well as the introduction to the newest addition to the team.
"They all are her… I must inform Vamdemon-sama of this." said Picodevimon as he sneakily looked upon the gathering of the children before flying away quietly.
"Harry, would you care explaining now?" asked Yamato.
"Explain what?" asked Sora confusedly as Harry sighs tiredly.
"Fine… It's actually this…" as Harry begins his explanation and a brief introduction to the wizarding world to the rest of the children.
"Wow! So Magic actually exist?" asked Taichi breathlessly as a pensive look took over his face.
"Show us! Show us!" pleaded Takeru. Harry closes his eyes and started concentrating hard. Suddenly, a flaming white bright pair of wings started sprouting from Harry's back.
"This is all I can do at the moment and I still can't control it properly. We call this as partial animagus transformation," explained Harry as the wings started to beat slightly, lifting the green eyed boy a few inches above the ground before dropping to the ground.
"Whoa! So you can sprout wings? What will you become after you complete the transformation?" asked Yamato.
"It should be some type of phoenix. But I'm not entirely sure since all I can see is blurs of white feathers. It's only because that there are flames on the wings that I thought it's a phoenix," said Harry.
"But… But magic does not exist!" argued Koushiro.
"Understandable. The non-magical, especially the intelligent ones, believes that magic is non-existent and it is for a good reason. Remember the witch hunt I just told you? To prevent something like that from ever happening once more, memories of our existence and anything magical have been erased from the non-magical. But those that leave deep impression can never be erased completely. That's why witches, wizards, dragons and other mythical beasts exist as fairy tale." explained Harry.
"Therefore, it is imperative that you say none of this to anyone else. It is a law in our world that we must not share our existence to everyone." said Harry.
"Then the thing with the Digivice…" said Koushiro slowly.
"Yeah… It's something to do with my magic. For some reason, my magic reacts with the Digivice." said Harry.
"Amazing… and there are many other functions too aren't there?" guessed Koushiro. And so, the rest of the day is spent on talking about Harry's magic as well as Havoc's condition and what happen with Piccolomon.
Night Time, Digital World, Server Continent, Forest
"Hmm… Vamdemon-sama is not yet here. I guess I can pick a few of them off now," said Picodevimon as he looked upon the sleeping figures on the ground. Materialising a syringe like object, Picodevimon launched it to Sora.
"Watch out! SORA!" yelled Piyomon, awakening suddenly upon sensing the threat towards her partner and immediately shields Sora with her body. Whimpering in pain, Piyomon crumpled on top of a screaming Sora as the other children wakes up.
"MEGA ROAR!" roared (No pun intended :P) Havoc as the trees started to be blown away along with a screaming Picodevimon.
"Damn! The trees are in the way." said Taichi.
"Heads up!" yelled Harry as he moved from his position with the children following his lead. Suddenly, a huge sword flying suddenly out of nowhere, nearly splitting their bodies in two.
"That sword is… Titamon!" realised Harry.
"That's right. You and that orange lizard made a fun out of me and must pay for it," said a hulking green figure. "Why are you still here anyway? Vamdemon-sama ordered you to retreat didn't he? By ambushing them with your attack you have made them alert to our presence fool!"
"B-but I at least have disabled one of them…" "Never mind that. Had you not interfere, I would have destroyed them all in one blow. Your punishment will be delivered later by Vamdemon-sama." said Titamon coldly to the whimpering figure of injured Demidevimon. Seeing the clear dismissal, Demidevimon winced as he uses his damaged wings to fly away.
"You won't run! Havoc!" shouted Harry.
"Mega Shot!" roared Havoc as he unleashed his fastest attack upon the fleeing Demidevimon only to be thwarted by the huge sword of Titamon.
"Do you really think that you are strong enough to ignore me? Know your place! I AM A PERFECT LEVEL DIGIMON FOOL!" roared Titamon. "And now, Vamdemon-sama has arrived. Be grateful for you have been blessed to even see His form!"
"Everyone! Evolution time!" shouted Taichi as the others nod reached for their Digivice.
"Veemon shinka… Veedramon!"
"Gabumon shinka… Garurumon!"
"Tentomon shinka… Kabuterimon!"
"Palmon shinka… Togemon!"
"Gomamon shinka… Ikkakumon!"
"Be careful with this one. He can raise the spirit of the dead and turn it into his personal army and one slash from that sword will be lethal!" warned Havoc to the other digimon.
"And we still don't know this Vamdemon. But someone as strong as him being this fanatic only proves of the strength of this Vamdemon." added Harry.
"Ku ku ku ku… Thank you for the compliment young human and brilliant analysis of Titamon's power despite seeing it just once. What gave it away?" asked an ominous voice from a falling casket that appears out of nowhere.
"…The feeling of death surrounding that disgusting sword." said Harry, watching the falling figure intently.
"Impressive… for a simple human like you to be able to see through that. That's why I have been telling you to start taming that sword of yours did I not?" said the now revealed Vamdemon as a smartly dressed humanoid figure of perfect level digimon falls from the casket and landed softly to the ground.
"Forgive me Vamdemon-sama. The sword is still quite hard to use." said Titamon, bowing his head in submission.
"It's fine. It's all I have expected from a vermin like you," said Vamdemon coldly, smirking while Titamon clenched his fists in embarrassment. "Anyway, I can't have you children running around and derailing my plans. Please leave the crests and you can be on your way."
"Like hell! Everyone! Prepare to attack!" ordered Taichi.
"Give back my brother's crest you freak!" snarled Yamato.
"At least I tried… Fine then. Since all of you decided to oppose me, I will simply destroy all of you. Titamon! Distract them while I pick them off one by one." ordered Vamdemon.
"It shall be done my lo.." " Mega Shot!/Metal Cannon!" roared Havoc and Dorumon suddenly as Titamon jumped away from Vamdemon frantically to dodge the blast of concentrated air and metal ball.
"I'm sorry but we will have to interrupt your chattering. Guys! We'll handle Titamon! The rest of you, focus on Vamdemon! Let's go, Havoc! Dorumon!" shouted Harry as the trio continue their barrage of attacks on the snarling Titamon as he waves his sword around, blocking every attack perfectly while backing away carefully.
With Vamdemon and the Seven Children
"To read into my tactic before I even thought of them… If only he would be in my side…" thought Vamdemon outloud.
"V-Breath Arrow!/Mega Blaster!/Harpoon Vulcan!" roared out Veedramon, Kabuterimon and Ikkakumon, each launching their attacks toward Vamdemon. Looking in annoyance, Vamdemon successfully blocked the attacks with his cape.
"You children should not be so impat…" "Fox Fire!/Chiku Chiku Bang Bang!" shouted Garurumon and Togemon suddenly from behind, interrupting Vamdemon's speech. Sighing, Vamdemon jump over the attacks and allow it to travel to the direction of the fleeing children.
"It is quite rude to interrupt someone all the time. You children need to be taught manners! Bloody Stream!" chided Vamdemon calmly as he brought out two of his flaming whips, striking every attacking digimon expertly and knocking them to the ground.
"Urgh! So strong!" grunted Veedramon.
"It hurts!" cried Togemon as anime tears started flowing down the cactus's eyes.
"Bear with it! He's coming again! Veedramon, Togemon! Let's go!" said Kabuterimon as the whips lashed out once more.
"Beetle Horn!/Magnum Punch!/Mach Jab!" shouted the three digimon, each blocking the whips strike expertly.
"Harpoon Vulcan!/Fox Fire!" shouted Garurumon and Ikkakumon as Vamdemon flies off in another direction while striking the missile to change its trajectory towards the children.
"V-Breath Arrow!" fired Veedramon to the missile quickly to prevent it going to the children.
"He's too fast and strong! Our attacks don't work!" said Mimi.
"No, it's not over yet. Garurumon and Veedramon can evolve to the next stage. I need the other digimon to distract Vamdemon for a while." said Taichi as he looked onto Yamato and nodded to each other.
"Kabuterimon can evolve to the next stage too!" said Koushiro as he held out his crest of knowledge.
"Alright then! Ikkakumon, fire as many Harpoon Vulcan as you can!" shouted Jou as his digimon nodded and created a barrage of endless missiles that Vamdemon easily dodged and blocked.
"Togemon! You too! Help Jou-senpai and strike Vamdemon!" cheered Mimi. Grinning, Togemon jump up high and shouted out "Mach Jab!" as countless extremely fast jabs rained down on the stoic Vamdemon. Dividing his attention, Vamdemon uses one whip to divert the Harpoon Vulcan barrages while uses the other one to block each jab perfectly before lashing out at Togemon. Screaming, Togemon fell down with a thump.
"TOGEMON!" cried Mimi.
"Now guys!" said Taichi.
"Veedramon chou-shinka… Aeroveedramon!"
"Garurumon chou-shinka… Weregarurumon!"
"Kabuterimon chou-shinka… Atlurkabuterimon!" roared the three digimon as three perfect level digimon appears.
"GO! ATTACK AS ONE!" shouted Yamato as the three digimon charge at the smirking Vamdemon.
"Three perfect and one adult against one perfect? Quite an unfair odds… for them that is!" grinned Vamdemon viciously as he raised his whips and charged into the incoming three digimon.
With Piyomon and Sora
"Piyomon… are you okay?!" asked Sora frantically.
"S-soraa… I-I h-have t-to gooo…I must fight tooo…" slurred out Piyomon.
"NO! You can't! Not with that body!" protested Sora.
"Please understand… I-I must go!" argued Piyomon as she uses all strength she had to march into the battle.
"NO! I WON'T LET YOU!" hugged Sora tightly.
"Please Soraaa…" moaned Piyomon.
"YOU CAN'T! YOU'RE TOO INJURED!" yelled Sora. Suddenly, three new screams reverberated the field as Aeroveedramon, Weregarurumon and Atlurkabuterimon fell out the sky while Ikkakumon lay crumpled on the ground. Seeing her friend beaten down gave all the encouragement that Piyomon needed.
"WHY CAN'T YOU UNDERSTAND?!" shouted Piyomon as Sora gasp, shocked that her own line has been turned towards her. The shock is loosened the tight hold, enough for Piyomon to release herself from Sora as she runs to the battle.
"Piyomon shinka… Birdramon!" shouted as a flaming bird suddenly appeared.
"Meteor Wing!" said Birdramon as she launched balls of flames to the surprised Vamdemon. Easily parrying the attack, Vamdemon analyses the situation.
"Hmm… a new adult digimon huh? It's too late though. The battle is over. Bloody Stream!" shouted Vamdemon as he viciously launched both of his whips to pierce the body of Birdramon. Shrieking in pain, Birdramon fell out of the sky as Sora runs towards her partner in tears.
"Birdramon… BIRDRAMON!" screamed Sora. Suddenly, a bright crimson light started to glow brightly around Sora before shooting to Birdramon, creating a blinding white light.
"URGH! The crest of love just HAVE to be activated at this moment!" snarled Vamdemon as he tried to shield his eyes.
"Birdramon chou-shinka… Garudamon!" roared out a massive bipedal bird as all of the children hangs their jaws in complete astonishment at the view of the strong looking digimon.
With Harry, Havoc, Dorumon and Titamon
"Mega Flame!/Metal Cannon!" shouted Havoc and Dorumon. Cursing, Titamon flipped backward to avoid the streaming flame while using his Zanjintou (Beheading God Sword) to block all of the superheated metal balls.
"Looks like we're far enough from the other…" analysed Harry calmly.
"MOVE IT! Vamdemon-sama orders' takes priority!" roared Titamon as he raised his sword, aiming to slice his opponents into two.
"Fire back Havoc!" ordered Harry. Nodding, Havoc uses a weaker version of Mega Volcano to create several faster and smaller fireballs. Gritting his teeth, Titamon once more increased the distance between them to avoid being barbecued while slicing few that cannot be dodged.
"Dash Metal!" yelled Dorumon, appearing suddenly right in front of Titamon and firing a single compact metal ball right on his face. Snarling in pain, Titamon waved his sword in the hopes of injuring Dorumon only to be thwarted as Harry runs and grab Dorumon from behind before retreating. Another stream of Mega Flame washed down upon Titamon to cover the escape of Harry and Dorumon, forcing Titamon to move back and roaring in frustration.
"Are you alright?" asked Harry.
"I'm fine. A bit tired though but I can still use Dash Metal one more time!" said Dorumon. Nodding, Harry told Dorumon to hide while charging his Dash Metal.
"Do you understand? On my signal, charge toward Titamon's back at your maximum speed and fire your Dash Metal with all you got!" ordered Harry as he climb to Havoc's shoulder. Nodding, Dorumon moved further back before charging his energy for his last attack.
"Havoc, we cannot let Titamon notice of Dorumon's absence. You know what to do right?" asked Harry.
"Of course; I simply need to pummel him with all I've got to distract Titamon!" yelled Havoc as he grinned viciously before charging forward while Harry chuckled slightly hearing the enthusiastic answer.
"Stop wasting my time insect!" roared Titamon as he performed numerous slashe that are either dodged or parried by Havoc before jumping away and roaring out "Mega Volcano" to create another volley of fireballs.
"Insect you say? Despite the fact that we can actually match you blow by blow while Havoc is only an adult level digimon you still have the nerve to say that? Besides, what are you then for not being able to finish us off even though you're perfect level digimon? Lower than insect?" mocked Harry as more vein throbbed in Titamon's head while Havoc is charging for the next attack.
"SHUT UP! YOU'RE DEAD!" roared Titamon as he charged blindly, giving into his anger.
"NOW! AIBOU! MEGA FLAME!" roared Havoc.
"VENTUS!" shouted Harry.
"INFERNO!"
As their signature technique emerges at the charging Titamon. Widening his eyes at the range of the attack which made it impossible to dodge at such a close range, TItamon gritted his teeth.
"KONPAKU SHINGEKI!" roared Titamon as Zanjitou glow an ominous black and slashed through the flame with great deal of difficulty. Grunting in effort, Titamon struggles to cut through the flames but managed nonetheless with few burns on his skin.
"You… I'LL DESTROY YOU! Koou Meijin!" screamed Titamon as hundreds of shapeless started forming, moaning in pain along the process.
'This is it!' thought Harry. "Havoc, blast them away!" ordered Harry.
"YEAH! Blaster Tail!" roared Havoc as several shades disappear at once before they finished forming. Deciding to take advantage of the opening, Havoc managed to get another strike to wipe out a few more shades before being forced to move backward to dodge the attacks from the shade.
"Havoc, move slowly to that direction with the huge tree." ordered Harry quietly. Thinking that his partner may have some plan, Havoc nodded before fighting the shade off like normal but retreating steadily toward the pointed direction. All the while, Harry kept a very careful watch on Titamon, ignoring the surrounding shades.
'No… Not yet… Just a bit more… There! All that's left to do is to wait and finish off the shades.' thought Harry.
"You alright there Havoc?" asked Harry as he noticed Havoc's breath started quickening.
"I'm fine! GREAT ANTLER!" roared Havoc as more shades got pierced by Havoc's horn. Nodding, Harry returned his attention back to where he last spotted Titamon only to see nothing but air. Widening his eyes, Harry spread out his magic and senses something on top. Looking up, Harry raises his thumb as Havoc eyes widened in horror at the incoming attack after finishing the last of the shades.
"Charge for a Mega Burst Havoc." ordered Harry calmly as he begin forming several hand seals. Trusting his partner implicitly, Havoc charged for his strongest attack, stoking the flames in his lungs.
"It's too late… too fucking late for that IDIOT! GENBA MUKON!" roared Titamon as his Zanjitou that are covered in sludge of black fluid are slashing towards their position. Suddenly, Titamon changed course and fall straight to the ground right next to them as a shout of "Dash Metal!" reached their ears. Landing on the other side of Havoc's shoulder, Dorumon grinned proudly.
"GO HARRY! HAVOC!" cheered Dorumon. Grinning savagely at the opening Dorumon has created, Harry finishes the rest of the required hand seals as Havoc started opening his mouth.
"MEGA BURST!" "TURBEN!"
"FIRE BLAST!" roared Havoc and Harry; each using a sizeable amount of their reserve to create the pillars of flame that descended upon the white faced Titamon.
"ARGH!" screamed Titamon in pain as the flame burns his body.
"We won't fall for the same trick twice Titamon. Know this; the moment you use your strongest technique is the moment where you are most vulnerable. That is why when unleashing your strongest attack, you must have a backup. Had Demidevimon is still around; this tactic will fail because Dorumon will be intercepted. That is the reason of your defeat." said Harry coldly as the screaming turns to whimpering. Turning his eyes to the trio that have beaten him, Titamon breathe his last before dispersing into data particles.
"We did it!" cheered Dorumon as he sagged tiredly in Havoc's shoulder.
"It's because of you Dorumon." grinned Harry as Dorumon blushes in embarrassment.
"Yup! Little Doru-chan is a great help." teased Havoc as Dorumon turns even redder in the face although this time, anger could be seen through his face. Before a word can come out from Dorumon, a huge bipedal crimson bird appeared out of nowhere.
"Havoc! Let's go to the others!" said Harry as Havoc nods and runs towards the enormous bird.
With Sora and the Others
"Sora's love… I felt so much of it!" said Garudamon excitedly with Sora in her talons. Unable to form a coherent response, Sora falls down and kneel on her partner's talons.
"You're… cool…" said Sora breathlessly, a teary smile on her face.
"I will… PROTECT SORA!" shouted Garudamon as she returns Sora to the ground.
"GUYS! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!" asked Harry as he, Havoc and Dorumon came to view.
"It can't be! Titamon was defeated?!" stared Vamdemon disbelievingly.
"HARRY! You're okay!" said Takeru cheerfully as Sora started standing up.
"Yeah. We're okay, but what about the others?" asked Harry.
"We can still fight!" said Aeroveedramon.
"This wound is nothing." replied Weregarurumon.
"We will aid Garudamon!" declared Atlurkabuterimon.
"I shall help." said Havoc as Harry reluctantly let him go, staying with the other children, Dorumon, Patamon and the exhausted Palmon and Gomamon.
"But you managed to defeat Titamon by yourself… Isn't he a perfect level digimon?" asked Takeru, amazed at what Harry has done.
"Everyone have a weakness no matter how small it is. Besides, it's not just me. In fact, most of it is done by Dorumon and Havoc. I just create some plan." said Harry modestly.
"V-Breath Arrow!/Horn Buster!/Mega Flame!" roared Aeroveedramon, Atlurkabuterimon and Havoc respectively. Dodging each of the technique skilfully, Vamdemon prepares his whips to counter the digimon.
"Eagle Claw!/Engetsugeri!" yelled Garudamon and Weregarurumon as the two physical attack managed to counter the deadly whips of Vamdemon.
"Urgh, five perfect level digimon is indeed hard… even though one of them is still adult level digimon. Fine then! I'll show them that my power is not to be underestimated!" said Vamdemon, glaring coldly to the five digimon while lifting his whips once more.
"BLOODY STREAM!" roared Vamdemon as the two whips snaked around the digimon so quickly that Havoc and Weregarurumon are pounded to the ground while the others managed to fly to safety.
"Magnum Punch!" shouted Aeroveedramon as Vamdemon immediately vacated his position to dodge the powerful punch. Readying his whips, Vamdemon lashed out to the unprotected back of Aeroveedramon.
"Horn Buster!" roared Atlurkabuterimon as the same technique manifest in physical form. Frowning in annoyance at the interruption, Vamdemon managed to move away as he redirects one of his whips to Atlurkabuterimon. Wincing slightly at the blow, Atlurkabuterimon immediately fly away to avoid any follow up attack to him.
"Quite impressive for someone like you to almost hit me. But I wonder, can you survive this? NIGHT RAID!" shouted Vamdemon as legion of bats surrounded by black cloud of energy fly towards the children.
"Oh no you don't! SHADOW WING!" roared Garudamon as flaming shadow of her whole body intercepts the swarm of bats as a shout of "V-Wing Blade" reached her ears. Seeing that the swarm of bats are stopped by the two energies, Aeroveedramon, Atlurkabuterimon and Garudamon flew to the children and began crouching.
"Now is the time!" said Atlurkabuterimon.
"We leave now while Vamdemon is busy dealing with my attack." continued Garudamon as the children, their partners and Dorumon climb to either Aeroveedramon's back, Garudamon's paw or Atlurkabuterimon's back. Narrowing his eyes at the movement, Vamdemon finally snarled for the first time.
"You won't escape! DEAD SCREAM!" roared Vamdemon as he diverts the use of Night Raid to one hand while using the other one to shoot another technique to the children. Acting on his instinct, Havoc jump and block the attack with his own body.
"HAVOC!" screamed Harry.
"GO! RUN NOW!" is all that Havoc managed to let out before an agonising scream ripped out of his throat as his body started to blacken. Panicking, Aeroveedramon, Atlurkabuterimon and Garudamon immediately follow on Havoc's order.
"NO! TURN BACK! HAVOC! HAVOOCC!" screamed Harry as the other children, their partners and Dorumon looked on in sadness.
With Vamdemon and Havoc
Screaming, Havoc starts to feel light headed. After a certain amount of time has passed, no more sound came out from his abused throat as he fell down and passed out.
"Hmph. To think that they forced me to use Dead Scream. Technique that is used to destroy someone's consciousness. Moreover, Titamon is dead and all I got is the strongest child's digimon partner huh?" murmured Vamdemon quietly as a carriage descent from the sky.
"Vamdemon-sama…" began one of the Devidramon before being cut off.
"Take him. Did you managed to get whatever is left of Titamon?" asked Vamdemon with no expression visible on his face.
"Only the sword and around a quarter of the data particles Vamdemon-sama…" replied the Devidramon as he presented the object to Vamdemon while the other Devidramon carry the body of the passed out digimon carefully, unwilling to incite any anger from their Lord. Nodding, Vamdemon took the leftover data particles, glancing at it curiously.
"At least you are finally able to be useful for my purpose. That's all you want right? Titamon…" grinned Vamdemon as he absorbs the data particles into himself.
"Put the sword away in the usual place. Now, we return for my castle." ordered Vamdemon coldly while entering his carriage, looking at the passed out Havoc in front of him.
"Such strength, such power… all this… coming from a simple adult level digimon… He will be mine." smirked Vamdemon coldly as various plan to turn the loyal digimon to his tool.
Digital World, Server Continent, Riverside
"He's gone…" spoke Harry, despair clearly shown in his face as Veemon looked at Harry guiltily.
"Harry…" whined Dorumon, rubbing his own face to clear his tears.
"I-I'm sorry! I shouldn't have escape like that! I should have… I should have…!" said Tentomon.
"No! It's my fault! I… I…" began Piyomon before crying hysterically.
"I-it's not your fault Veemon, Tentomon, Piyomon… Had you stay back there, all of us would be dead. Vamdemon can simply take Havoc hostage and force all of us to submission." murmured Harry softly as tears flowed down despite showing no expression on his face. Unable to give any proper response, the others stay silent; none know what to say in response to that acceptance at the loss of his partner.
"Harry… I'm sure Havoc is alright." said Sora as she rubbed Harry's quivering back.
"Yeah, I mean he's strong after all. What can that leech do?" said Mimi as she tried to cheer her friend.
"We'll find him. Wherever he is." said Yamato.
"He's our friend too after all." grinned Taichi, feeling more confident now that Harry has stopped crying and a hint of a smile is starting to form on his face.
"Yeah… You're right. He wouldn't want me to mope around like this. I, no, WE'LL find him. Thanks guys." said Harry smiling more sincerely at his friends around him.
'Friends huh…? I had thought that you're the only one I can believe in Havoc. Seems that it's wrong after all. Wait for me… for us. We'll find and rescue you from Vamdemon's clutches.' thought Harry as he grips his fist tightly in determination. Suddenly, dark clouds begin to gather as ominous chuckle filled the area where they are resting at.
"Chosen Children… With only the power of eight, you cannot thwart the might of our evil forces. Perhaps it will be more accurate to say SEVEN instead of eight?" mocked Vamdemon before laughing cruelly. Clenching his fist to the point where his palm started bleeding, Harry's face took on a fearsome visage.
"Fine… I'll destroy you Vamdemon. I'll beat you in your own game." said Harry quietly yet none of the malice and hate is missed by the other children as they shivered in fear of their friend. Dorumon simply held on to Harry as his face took on similar appearance.
"Use me however you want Harry. I'll definitely save him, no matter how annoying he may be." whispered Dorumon as Harry made a slight laugh at the joke which made Dorumon grin slightly.
"I won't go so far… Havoc won't be happy if I sacrifice you to help him." smiled Harry as he pat the purple dinosaur head slightly, making him purr in pleasure. Seeing the scene, the other children sighs in relieve as they began exploring the area and began looking for things that can be used or consumed.
With Jou, Mimi, Taichi, Palmon and Gomamon
"These bags are useful, aren't they?" said Jou as he and Taichi gather freshwater in a river where Gomamon is floating peacefully at. "I swiped them from the restaurant." continued Jou as Gomamon swim around happily.
"I thought your diligence was all you got going for you, but I see even you make some good move, Jou!" complimented Gomamon.
"Well, yeah. Mimi-kun, cheer up!" said Jou, pleased with himself
"But now that Vamdemon has appeared and Havoc is captured, we will be having more fight right?" said Mimi gloomily.
"Mimi… We have to rescue Havoc from Vamdemon. You know what he can do from what Harry's been telling us, right?" said Palmon as she tried to cheer her up.
"Besides, even if Havoc is not captured, we would eventually have to fight him either way." said Taichi.
"…I guess so." smiled Mimi.
"Guys!" called Koushiro.
"What's up? You guys finished with the cooking?" asked Taichi hopefully.
"No, it's Gennai-san! He's Here!" said Koushiro as the Taichi and the others finished up with gathering of freshwater and walking quickly to the other group.
With Harry, Yamato, Sora, Takeru, Dorumon, Gabumon, Piyomon and Patamon
"So this old man is Gennai?" said Harry as his face took on a contemplative pose.
"Yeah. He's the one who told us about the crest. So, what is it this time Jiji?" asked Yamato.
"I prefer to wait for the others so that I don't have to explain the same thing twice. So you are the eight child. Harry I believe, the partner of Agumon?" asked Gennai.
"…Yeah, you're right. But Havoc currently is captured by Vamdemon." confirmed Harry as his eyes took on a slightly hostile look.
"I see… Then this can be a good news for you. I believe you have some question?" asked Gennai.
"I have several but the matter of Havoc take the highest priority. If you have some intelligence regarding Vamdemon I suggest you talk... now." said Harry as Taichi and the others have arrived.
"Yo gramps! What is it this time?" asked Taichi rudely.
"I have both good news and bad news, so which would you like to hear first?" asked Gennai.
"I'd like to hear the good news first, but…" began Jou.
"We'll be disappointed either way, so let's hear the good news first." finished Yamato.
"Very well, then I'll start with the good news first. The truth is, I found a new comrade for you." revealed Gennai as various gasps come from most of the children.
"Comrade? You mean another chosen children?" asked Sora.
"Correct, there were supposed to be nine chosen children altogether," answered Gennai.
"Hey, so does that mean that there's another digimon on our side?" asked Pyokomon.
"Yeah, it would," said Sora.
"What's important is that if the nine of you does not gather together, the distortions in this world will not be straightened out. Of course, this includes your world as well. Do you understand?" asked Gennai.
"Of course. So, who's the last of the chosen children?" asked Harry.
"Uhh… well umm… That is… I forgot the name," said Gennai as the most of the children face planted.
"JIJI!" protested Taichi.
"I'm sorry but I know that the last children resided in Japan," said Gennai.
"Japan? Where is that?" asked Gabumon.
"It's the place where the children come from," explained Veemon.
"I see, you have been to Earth once huh, Veemon?" said Koushiro as Veemon nods.
"But that means we cannot meet the last child…" said Jou
"Don't be so disappointed!" said Gennai.
"So, what's the bad news?" asked Yamato.
"The thing is… Vamdemon already know of this. And what's worse is that he has already gathered forces to go to Japan," said Gennai.
"What?! Vamdemon is planning to go to Japan?!" asked Taichi as the other faces started paling at the chaos that will happen should digimon invade Japan. Harry, however, started clenching his fist while his face took on a thunderous expression.
"What else have you been hiding Gennai?" asked Harry quietly as chill started spreading to the other children.
"What?" asked Gennai, unprepared for the question.
"I asked you what else have you been hiding. You must have known from the very beginning. Why didn't you tell us when you first made contact with us? The answer could only be that you do not want to divulge all of your secrets so there must be something else that you are hiding. WHAT is it?" asked Harry.
"…"
"Well?" said Harry as he pressed on his question.
'To think that he notices something like that… He's no ordinary child…' thought Gennai as he open his mouth to answer.
"You are correct that I have been hiding more things from you. It's not that I do not wish to tell you but more of the fact that I cannot since this means of communication can be easily intercepted," said Gennai.
"Even if it's intercepted, it should prove to be no trouble for you since Vamdemon already knows of the existence of the ninth children. Do not give idiotic excuses," said Harry coldly as sweats started forming on Gennai's forehead.
"Fine, then. Keep your secrets but you will tell me what I want to know. Where is Vamdemon's base of operation and where is the portal that he will use to go to Earth?" asked Harry.
"I have sent the information to Koushiro's laptop along with the map on how to get there," said Gennai as he pointed towards the beeping laptop of Koushiro. Checking his laptop, Koushiro found the map as Harry looked at it.
"To think that you have the interior map of the castle as well… Is this castle yours at some point?" asked Harry as he pointed his glowing Digivice to the laptop.
"No, it's not. But I have been into that castle before," said Gennai as a calculating look crossed Harry's face.
"So basically, we prevent Vamdemon from going to Earth and search for the ninth children by crossing the portal right?" asked Yamato.
"Yeah, that's the gist of it," said Gennai.
"Are there any other news?" asked Sora.
"None. Since you all know what to do…" began Gennai before being interrupted.
"Gennai, I will allow you to keep your secrets but if, at some point, that you cause us danger to the point of killing us by not telling us everything… I will hunt you down, wherever you are and annihilate you." declared Harry. Nodding wearily, Gennai ends the transmission as the other children took on a worried look at seeing a hostile Harry.
"Are you alright Harry-san?" asked Takeru carefully.
"I'm fine, it's just that the way he's withholding information from us does not sit well with me. Many skirmishes, battle, infiltrations and other missions have failed with countless amount of casualty in the past by having insufficient information," said Harry as he rubbed his forehead.
"I agree. I really don't like that old man if you put it that way," said Yamato.
"But he's been helping us so far right?" asked Sora, trying to be optimistic.
"Sora's right. Even if he didn't tell us everything, we always managed somehow," said Taichi. Frowning, Yamato bit back a retort and focuses on the castle.
"What confuses me is this ninth child," said Harry as he took on a thinking pose while putting back his Digivice to his pocket.
"What do you mean, Harry-san?" asked Koushiro as he closes his laptop, seeing that the download is finished.
"Why is the ninth child not here? All eight of us are here and we are on the same team in the same summer camp. Hell, I'm from England and I managed to be here in Japan. Takeru is also not from our school yet he is still here. This is no coincidence that we are all here at the same team in the same summer camp… More like fate," said Harry as the other children took on a similar thinking pose.
"Now that you mention it… It is weird. How could eight of the nine chosen children be placed perfectly in one group in the same summer camp?" mulled Koushiro.
"That's not important right? The more important thing is that the ninth child is somewhere out there," said Taichi.
"On the contrary, it is an important clue to the whereabouts of the ninth children. Think about it. All of us are the member of the chosen children and all of us are in that summer camp in one group. Doesn't that mean that it is fate that our group is the chosen children?" said Harry. Nodding, the other gestured for Harry to continue.
"If that is true, one could also put it this way 'Our group in summer camp 1988 at Odaiba are the gathering of the chosen children'. Then why is the ninth children is not with us in our group?" asked Harry as the other children and digimon tried to think of a reason.
"Because… Because the ninth child was NOT in the group. For some reason, the ninth child does not come to the summer camp!" said Koushiro excitedly as Harry nodded while the others took on a surprised expression except for Taichi whose face started paling.
"Exactly. In other words, the ninth child was supposed to be in our group but fail to come to the summer camp. But the maximum amount of member in a group is only seven people so even if the ninth child comes, there is no more place in our group. Then, the only way that the ninth child can be with us…" began Harry.
"Is the same way Takeru can be with our group! Takeru is with our group because I let him in as my younger brother!" said Yamato excitedly.
"Correct. In short, the ninth child is either a younger brother or a younger sister of someone in our group," revealed Harry. Since all of the children paid undivided attention to Harry, none notice the white face of Taichi.
"I see… Yes, it makes sense! Who amongst us have a younger sibling?" asked Koushiro.
"Now that I think of it, didn't Taichi have a younger sister? I think her name was Hikari right, Taichi?" asked Sora as she turned to face the terrified expression of Taichi.
"Uhh… Taichi?" asked Mimi carefully.
"NO! IT CAN'T BE HER!" shouted Taichi suddenly.
"But didn't Hikari knows what I am? She called me Demiveemon even though I didn't tell her my name and even played with me!" said Veemon innocently. Any other retort simply died at that sentence from his partner.
"Hikari-chan knows about the existence of digimon? Did she went to the Digital World in the past?" asked Sora.
"N-no. But she knows that we're not on summer camp," said Taichi.
"It's settled then. Hikari is most probably the ninth child," said Harry as Taichi started to glare at Harry.
"YOU DON'T KNOW THAT FOR SURE!" shouted Taichi. Surprised, the other children looked at Taichi.
"Umm, yeah, you're right. I don't know that for sure. All I'm saying is that there is a high probability that she is the ninth child. This means that once we return to Earth, we need to protect Hikari. Did she have a Digivice?" asked Harry as Taichi took on a smug look.
"No. She didn't even recognise it when I showed it to her," said Taichi, inwardly relieved that his frail sister is not the ninth child.
"Hmm… I can't think of any other way to narrow down the ninth child. Just in case, we need to protect her and watch her more closely when we return to Earth, alright? If it turns out that I'm wrong, it only means that Hikari got more bodyguards. That's fine with you right, Taichi?" asked Harry as Taichi nods.
"Alright. Now that we're finished with that, let's think of a way to rescue Havoc now," said Harry.
"Umm, about that… I have an idea," said Dorumon.
"What is it?" asked Jou curiously.
"We could sneak in, disguise ourselves as Vamdemon's henchman and slip right in," said Dorumon.
"That's not a bad idea. We would not have to fight needlessly too," said Sora.
"But that alone won't be enough. Even if we changed our appearance, if all sixteen of us shows up at once, they will immediately know that we're the chosen children," said Harry.
"That's why we will only send some of us. We clear the path then we give a signal so that the rest can come," finished Dorumon.
"…Not bad," complimented Yamato as the others nod in agreement.
"So, who's gonna infiltrate Vamdemon's castle?" asked Palmon as Harry began making various wigs and cloths from leaves to disguise the appearance of the digimon.
Digital World, Server Continent, Vamdemon's Castle, Dungeon
Panting, Havoc musters what strength he had left to glare at the smirking figure of Vamdemon, Phantomon and Etemon along with few other adult level digimon in front of him. Chuckling cruelly, Vamdemon click his finger as Etemon use his Love Serenade to the grunting Havoc.
"You have lasted so long against our treatment to open your mind. Many others would be insane if they receive even a third of what you experienced. But don't worry, you will submit eventually. They always do," chuckled Vamdemon as he stopped Etemon while Havoc slumped once more, panting to relieve the pain all over his body. Testing his limbs once more, he found that the chains that are wrapped along his body and limbs are too strong to break on his own.
"Tell me, will you be my pawn?" asked Vamdemon as he stared at Havoc. Glaring, Havoc chooses to answer that question by blowing a weak fireball to Vamdemon's face that is, unfortunately, blocked quite easily by Vamdemon.
"Ku Ku Ku Ku… to be able to use your attacks even though the chains is draining your power… You are indeed a very powerful digimon. You know, we could end this, all this pain. Just say it… Say that I am your master and that you will serve me from now on…" whispered Vamdemon directly at Havoc's ear.
"…Go to hell!" growled Havoc as Phantomon glared angrily and began whipping his metal chain at the grunting Havoc. Sighing, Vamdemon returns to the place he stand, looking at the restrained figure on the wall.
"I truly detest having to resort this measure. You see, while it will certainly give birth to the most loyal of soldier… It will decrease their powers and ability since an original thought process is the best to use to exert the maximum amount of power. It will decrease their efficiency you see…
But then again, you are a very strong digimon. I doubt that a slight decrease in strength will even affect your combat abilities. Oh well… Just know that you wrought this on yourself," said Vamdemon as he smirked cruelly. Nodding to the standing digimon around him, the adult digimon and Phantomon grinned maliciously as they began preparing on 'reprogramming' Havoc.
To ensure that Havoc will not be hostile, Etemon has began using his Love Serenade once more, this time with no restraint, on the screaming and convulsing Havoc with glee. Approaching Havoc, Phantomon began glowing black as the other digimon with different glowing colour put their hands on Phantomon.
The black glow surrounding Phantomon started to change into violet sludge that started dripping on the ground below them. Seeing that the process is about to start, Etemon stopped his attack with slight frown at having his 'fun time' interrupted. Moving his head slightly, Havoc looked on the approaching violet figure, no longer able to discern the shape of the digimon.
"Don't worry my future subordinate… It WILL hurt… A LOT," grinned Vamdemon sadistically as one of the adult digimon tip the snout of Havoc upward while opening them. Havoc tried to close his mouth and break the chains restraining him but sadly, the Love Serenade has successfully paralysed the orange dinosaur. Closing his eyes in resignation, he felt the thick violet fluid enter his mouth.
Looking at the opened maw of Havoc, Phantomon grinned happily. It always excites him at the reactions of various digimon when they swallow the fluid. Now that he is finally allowed to use this obscene amount of the fluid, Phantomon is shivering in anticipation at the reaction of the bulky dinosaur. Using his scythe, his transferred the whole fluid at once.
Feeling the thick fluid enters his oesophagus and to his insides, Havoc begins to choke and squirmed in discomfort. Suddenly, a slightly burning feeling began from his stomach that spread to every part of his body. When it began to feel that he is burning inside out, Havoc finally lets out an agonised scream from his abused throat.
"Hurts doesn't it? It only gets worse from this," said Phantomon excitedly as the other adult digimon began looking at perverse fascination at the screaming and convulsing dinosaur. After several hours, the scream finally died down as whimpers choked out from Havoc along with blood from the ruptured throat. Leaving Havoc for another set of hours, the others looked on the silent, unmoving figure as blood steadily flowed down from the maw of the abused dinosaur.
"Now… Who is your master?" asked Vamdemon as he took several steps until he is right in front of Havoc. Mouthing and coughing blood, Vamdemon frowned as the few droplets of blood splashed to his boots.
"Hmm… I guess I should heal your throat a bit. Now… Declare to the world of your master," said Vamdemon as a black glow surrounded Havoc's throat before dispersing altogether.
"My master… no… my partner is… Har-" began Havoc before being whipped by Bloody Stream. By now, all of his senses have been numbed and thus, didn't scream from the lack of pain.
"Who is your master?" hissed Vamdemon as Havoc stuttered out the same answer. The same thing happen over and over again for an hour. Observing his handiwork, he saw that no parts on Havoc's body are without blood and whip marks. Grinning savagely, Vamdemon uses the strongest compulsion on his voice and asked one more time.
"Who is your master?" asked Vamdemon. Shivering and convulsing from the effects of the compulsion, Havoc opened his maw to answer.
"My master… My partnerrr… no... My master isss… Vamdemon-sama…" replied Havoc as he finally submitted to the vampire digimon from the brutal abuse to his body.
"Good… Very good… Now… retake the name Geogreymon… Speak it… What's your name?" whispered Vamdemon directly to Havoc's ear. Shuddering, Havoc answers.
"It's Hav… Geogreymon," said Havoc as his eyes turns red. Pleased with the result, Vamdemon retreat a few steps back to observe his new subordinates face.
"Very good Geogreymon… Repeat it… Who is your master?" asked Vamdemon in clear commanding voice.
"Vamdemon-sama," said Havoc with no stutter as he looked directly at Vamdemon with his red eyes.
"Never forget that… DEAD SCREAM!" roared Vamdemon suddenly as Havoc screams in pain once more before slumping, losing his consciousness. Coating his hands with dark power, Vamdemon spoke of a few select words as the darkness began enveloping Havoc before settling down.
"Release him from his chains. Find a proper quarter for him and enhance the power of regenerative spell I have casted on him to heal him. I believe the children will strike soon and I want him ready by then," ordered Vamdemon with 'or else' lies unspoken yet heard clearly by the shuddering adult digimon.
"Vamdemon-sama, shouldn't we strengthen our defences?" asked Phantomon.
"No need, simply prepare the army in front of the gate. The pathetic digimon left here will be more than a match for them. Besides, we have Geogreymon to deal with the children. They won't be able to do anything," chuckled Vamdemon as Phantomon realised his Master's tactic with wide eyes. Bowing deeply in submission and utter admiration at the Being in front of him, Phantomon left his Master to do His bidding.
"Come chosen children… I'll show you the difference between our powers," chuckled Vamdemon.

Update has been going very slow. This is because I am being lazy as usual and the amount of work at uni. Truthfully I like reading more than writing so do excuse me for being lazy.
