Chapter 10

A/n-Last chapter people.. And my favorite one so far... ;-)))... No proof reading though.. I wrote it for four hours straight.. I am a Lil dizzy...

Chapter eighteen

Dobby's reward

For a moment their was silence... flung themselves on their daughter.

Ginny's eyes welled up at the mention of her parents. She remembered the pain she felt by looking at their disappointed faces that night.

Harry, however, was looking past them... breaking a hundred school rules into pieces along the way,...

"Take Minnie to mention school rules at such a time." Sirius said rolling his eyes.

... I might add-but how on earth did you... who was once head boy here."

"Voldemort was head boy! Clearly they don't give it much thought before assigning the post.." Lily said sneering at James. "Neither for the head girl post" James said coolly. Lily raised her eyebrow at her and he smirked back.

"But Ginny" said Mrs. Weasley... I always find that cheers me up" he added, his eyes twinkling kindly down at her...

Ginny smiled at the memory.

"You will find that Mrs pomfrey is still... Ron opened his mouth in horror.

Lily chuckled "Ofcourse he won't expel them for saving a life."

"Which goes show that best of us... Not something he intended to do, I'm sure..."

Lily and James gaped at each other in horror. A part of Voldemort in their son!

"Voldemort put a bit of himself in me... Godric Griffindor.

"I knew it, he couldn't be in Slytherin. He's a true Griffindor." James said beaming proudly.

"Only a true Gryffindor could have.., "Very fortunate" Malfoy said stiffly.

Ginny glared at the book, remembering how she felt when she discovered that just for the sake of some office rivalry Malfoy had made her a bait to Voldemort.

Still behind his back... punching himself in the head.

"What's up with the elf" Sirius said confused.

And Harry suddenly understood... smelly sock into Lucius Malfoy's hand.

"What's he doing" James said laughing.

"What the-"... They were meddlesome fools too."

Sirius and Remus glared at the book.

He turned to go... Master gave it to Dobby."

"ooohh.. He gave him a sock" Sirius squealed. The others gave him a questioning look until realization dawned upon them and they erupted in cheers.

"What's that" spat Mr. Malfoy... Harry's sock with shaking hands.

Lily awwwhed. James couldn't help but ogle at her adoringly. He knew all the kindness that Harry showed came for her and he loved her for that. His heart ached at the thought of this morning. He was so happy, she greeted him happily as if they were together. He finally had some hope and she broke it again into tiny pieces. It was his fault too, he knew, but he couldn't help it. He felt so weak in front of her and he could only hide it by cold indifference.

"You said that all this had nothing to do with,... cheering that greeted this news.

Sirius read all this in an ecstatic girly voice hardly taking a breath and the others giggled.

"Shame" said Ron, helping himself to a jam doughnut.,.. stack of books on George's head.

They laughed at that.

"What"... through the gateway to the muggle world.

Sirius closed the book shut. They all had stupid smiles on their faces. Lily hugged Ginny "Thank you for bringing the books to us, they are simply awesome. If it weren't for these guys, I would them non stop without sleeping or eating you know" She giggled then added "It feels so much more real, now that we were reading about you." "Just wait, you guys will love the next one" Ginny said looking up at marauders.

"So should we start the next one?" Sirius asked surprising everyone. "What about the party, we have to get ready!" lily said in a 'duh' tone. "Its two hours away" Sirius said. "So?" both the girls asked. Sirius mumbled a 'nevermind' and the girls left to get ready while the guys lazed around in James' room.

Lily felt so happy that Ginny was with her. When she was little Petunia and her mother used to dress up for any party. Lily loved dressing up dolls and petunia loved dressing up Lily and she was really good at it even at the age of ten. Lily felt bad about losing her sister but at least she had Ginny who was currently curling up her hairs with her wand. She added slight streaks of green shade in her hairs which Lily wasn't too sure about but she didn't protest and let Ginny work because she knew Ginny was too gorgeous herself, she must know what she was doing.

After two hours Lily stood in front of mirror staring at herself. She always knew she wasn't ugly but the girls staring back from mirror couldn't be her. Ginny had worked wonders at her. Her hairs were combed to one side falling in delicious curls of green and red. She wore a simple butterfly earring with two more studded butterflies around her visible ear. The make up was simple and classy and she loved her pink and white dress right from the first sight. Only one thing was missing.

Ginny held the bracelet that James gave Lily in the morning on her open palm. Lily stared at it, remembering what she was about. Ginny beamed urging her on and she put it with shaky fingers.

Lily wore white stilettos and stuck her wand in her robe's inside. She and Ginny went to the party downstairs half an hour late. The guests were just filling in. The guys were sitting at a couch beside the bar. They were looking as usual too hot, clad in black, brown and blue robes. When lily and Ginny approached them, Lily noticed James stare at her slowly from top to bottom. She sat down opposite him pink in face and adjusting her robes to hide her bare legs. Sirius was blatantly flirting with Ginny who looked a little sensual like a black beauty in her aqua and black robes. Remus politely complimented both and James only complimented Ginny. Lily immediately felt sad, she wont lie, she took all the trouble to look good for James who wont even meet her eyes now. James never failed to compliment her, even if she so much as changed her eye liner. He must be really pissed or may be just she didn't look good enough,their were many pretty girls in the party, mostly children of aurours, he himself looked delicious in his white shirt and black pants which he wore under black robes. Lily could seriously eat him.

Lily saw Ginny giggle as Sirius took her away to the dance floor. A bubbly looking girl with a heart shaped face and bubblegum pink hairs came and boldly asked Remus to dance with her.

[A/n- I think Tonks was a little too young for Remus, but lets just assume she was there, I ship Ronks strongly and I cant pair him up with anyone else.]

Remus went away taking her hand shyly. James and Lily sat there awkwardly, not talking to each other and gazing around at the party.

Soon enough, three girls came and sat around James flirting shamelessly with him and what was worse, James was flirting back, not even paying attention to Lily.

Lily stared at him broken hearted and left without saying anything. She was about to reach the stairs, planning to go in room and cry her eyes out when Ginny came running with Sirius at her heels.

"What happened Lily, why are you leaving, what about the Christmas present?" Ginny added the last part in whisper. "He's a jerk, a stupid flirty git, he doesn't likes me okay, he won't even look at me" Lily said pouting like a five year old angry at her parents for not buying her favorite candy. Sirius began laughing and lily glared at him, trying hard not to punch his face. "Common Lily, you know that's not true. He likes you, he's just making you jealous" Ginny explained calmly to Lily "Turn around and see for yourself, he isn't even paying attention to the three bitches, he's staring at you." Lily turned back and sure enough James was staring at her with concern etched over his face. When he saw lily he immediately turned back to his companions, laughing with them.

Lily didn't knew, where she got the sudden courage, but she marched back to the couch, grabbed the clasp of James' robe and pulled him away from the party towards an adjacent empty room.

James followed her dumb struck and sat quietly on the desk, where lily made him sit and turned back to lock the door. She came and stood close to him, too close. James gulped as he stared into her mesmerizing eyes as he waited for her to speak.

Only she didn't speak. She again pulled at his his robe's clasp and kissed him straight on the lips. Fireworks exploded when their lips met. Lily felt her whole body filled with warmth. His response was immediate. He pulled her close to him so that she was flush again his chest. His lips moved over her hungrily and he bit her bottom lip, asking her permission to deepen the kiss. She gladly obliged and opened her mouth slightly. Their tongue collided and wrapped around each other. He teased her, his soft lips, teeth, hot tongue making a delicious combination making her crazy for him.

They broke apart after what felt like hours, when it was only a few minutes, both panting slightly from the lack of oxygen. James grinned at her and she smiled back shyly. He couldn't let her go, not yet, so he pulled her back close to him and wrapped his arms tightly around her petite waist inside her robes.

"What was that for?" James asked once he caught his breath. "Its your Christmas present" Lily grinned sheepishly at him "I couldn't figure out what to get, so I asked Ginny for advice and she suggested me I could just kiss you". "Best present ever!" he breathed out and kept his forehead on her "please remind me to thank Ginny" he added before kissing her again and again and again.

They had to leave eventually, James was the host after all, he asked her out for a dance and kept her bedside him for whole night introducing her to his extended family and family friends.

Their friends subtly left them alone the whole night and when the last guests left, James dragged Lily to his room.

[A/n- A steamy make out session coming people... Skip the next few paragraphs if you don't like such things.. But I tried my best to make it more passionate rather than dirty... And their is a lot of sweet talks at the end too.. Don't miss them..]

He removed his robe and shoes as Lily sat on his bed and started removing her own shoes but James stopped her. He kneeled down in front of her and removed her shoes gently before before bending down to kiss her small pink feet. Lily smiled shyly at him. He got up and held the clasp of her robe. "May I?" he asked her uncertainly and she nodded. He flicked it open and threw her robe aside. She suddenly became very aware of the revealing tube frock but oddly James' stare didn't make her uncomfortable, in fact the frock made her feel confident, she knew it looked sexy on her small frame.

James picked her up and laid her down on the huge pillows by the head of the bed. He laid down half on the bed and half over her, and pulled her in his started taking off his glasses but Lily stopped him. "Can you please not take them off, I have a thing for specs, they look sexy on you" Lily mumbled shyly. "Seriously" James asked with a wicked smile. "Yeah,specially when you do this..." Lily said using her index finger to push his specs up on his nose "...its a huge turn on."

[A/n- I do have a thing for specs.. Its not weird right? Don't you think guys with specs are so hot?... :ppp]

Lily saw James' eyes darken as he pulled her in for a hurried and passionate kiss. Lily's hand immediately flew to his hairs. He groaned and angled his head to deepen the kiss. His hands roamed possessively over the side of her body and her bare legs. He grabbed her leg and pulled up her thighs. She wrapped the leg around his waist to calm down the tickling sensation James' calloused hands made her feel. He began placing soft kisses down her throat right upto her cleavage. She gasped when he licked above the hem of her dress. He sucked and bit on her shoulders and pulse point, intent on giving her a hickey, marking her as his own, soon she was moaning out his name.

A little embarrassed by the sounds she was making, she tugged on his shirt until it came out free from his pant. He kept giving her random kisses on her nose, ears, forehead, while she worked on opening the buttons of his shirt with shaky hands. He got up and threw it away immediately when she was done and she started roaming her hands up and down on his taut muscles. He groaned huskily when her long nails reached below his naval and above his belt. She gently pushed him down so that she was on top of him and started pressing small feather light kisses down his torso.

After their hot, steamy make out session, Lily lay on top on James' bare chest, listening to his thudding heart. He drew lazy circles along her back. "You know I wanted to do this for so long" James said softly. "Yeah I had a little idea about that" Lily said chuckling. "No Lily, I'm serious, when I first saw you on that train, all I can think of was that you look so pretty. It took two years to realize that I had a crush on you and another year to finally gain enough courage to ask you out. It did hurt whenever you refused me, but I couldn't give up on you, ever. You mean so much to me... Much more than a childhood crush" Lily's heartbeat quickened.. Was he implying that he loved her? Lily gulped, thankful that he didn't say the L- word. She knew her feelings for him were pretty strong, but how strong, she couldn't tell. " Well say something." James asked her.

Lily intertwined their hands and replied slowly "I like you too James. I've always had a small crush on you, whenever you asked me out,I was secretly thrilled" James chuckled "I used to see you give me secretive glances whenever you thought no one was looking, I told my friends, but no one ever believed me, so I thought I was imagining things. You used to make me crazy, still do." "You make me crazy too James, even when so much as smile at me."

James suddenly got up taking Lily in his lap. He held her hand and placed a small kiss on it. "Lily Evans, will you be my girlfriend?" James asked in all seriousness. Lily giggled "I would love to be your girlfriend, James potter." She hugged him and he pulled her down for another round of steamy make out.

They eventually fell asleep after talking and kissing for a long time. And when they woke up in each other's arms, bundled up in the blankets on the cold morning, it was the best feeling in the world. James knew he was in love and Lily knew it won't take her a lot of time to fall for him too...

A/n- Finally they are together... I love Jily.. And I promise I wont let them fight too much ;-)
