A/N- Heyo guys! It's me in all my laziness glory! I have what like three more FF's to update right? I know I do but I have been kinda lazy and uninspired to write but here I am ready to at least update this story.

Kanna- You better stop making me look like a shitty person dammit!

Sasuke- You are a shitty person….

Naruto- Shut up Sasuke. She's my friend!

Sasuke- But I'm your lover.

Naruto-...

Disclaimer- I wish I could somehow just buy the characters but last I checked I had about 38 cents in my account….

They all turn their attention to the angry looking brunette that had just entered the room. Naruto recognizes him as Kiba. He was definitely looking better than the first time he had saw him.

Kiba raised an eyebrow and makes his way to where Naruto was sitting on the tile floor.

"Hey man, you OK?" He reaches his hand out to help the blonde up.

"Yeah I'm fine Kiba." Naruto smiles at him and rubs the back of his head.

"Of course he isn't fine. He nearly drowned in the pool because Some redhead idiot decided to yank him in!" They all turn to look at Sasuke who was glaring at said redhead.

Oh gawd… not that again…

"Shut it you pale ass emo! I was just fucking around with Naruto! I didn't know this was going to happen!" Naruto looked between the two people. This was getting tiring and he wasn't sure how to handle it. Looking over at Kiba for help didn't seem like it was going to help because he was now glaring at Kanna as well.

Kiba takes a step to the girl and crosses his arms. "What the hell is wrong with you? What if he did drown?!"

Stepping in front of a fuming crimsette. Naruto glares at the two other people in the room. Like hell was Sasuke and Kiba gonna gang up on her and make her feel like the bad guy. Girl? Whatever they weren't going to make her feel like shit.

Ok it wasn't easy glaring at the guy you were practically heads over heels in love with at the moment but dammit if the blonde was going to let them Corner her friend.

"Stop it guys. Kanna didn't know I was gonna freak out OK?"

Sasuke glared at the blonde and Said person just glared back. He couldn't help but feel like they use to do this a lot. Naruto couldn't help but wonder again what their actual relationship was.

Kiba sighs and looks away. "Who cares if she didn't know. She shouldn't have done it in the first place. Who does she think she is?"

"Shut it you mutt. Go with your duck ass master and scram."

Turning to Kanna he could see she was red a tomato she was so pissed. He couldn't help but want to laugh her angry expression. Taking her hand he looks back at his friend Kiba and his lover/friend? He wasn't sure at the moment.

He looks down at his crimsette friend. He knew if they stayed any longer it wouldn't be good in the least.

"Hey let's go Kanna. We can go find something else to do that maybe doesn't involve water at the moment." Chuckling he begins to walk to the exit.

"Naruto." He stops in his steps and closes his eyes. He really just wanted to jump a certain raven haired bastard. He wanted to melt whenever Sasuke said his name. It really has felt like forever since he had heard him say his name and know who it was saying it.

I am going to forbid him to say my name dammit. I am supposed to be mad at him.

Turning to the raven the blonde wanted to just run and hug him but that would be awkward he felt like. He does his best to glare at the man. He was still a little pissed about what he said to his friend. Sure she had a blunt way with her choice of words but that really didn't give them a good reason to hate her.

"What Sasuke?" His voice didn't have any anger in it, but sure as hell sounded affectionate. Like when he and the raven would bicker without any ill intent to it.

Oh gawd…. Stop it Naruto. Bad Naruto. Get angry dammit.

Sasuke blinked and looked slightly confused and took a step forward. Naruto wanted to take a step back. He wasn't sure why though. The blonde looked away and turned around.

"Let's go Kanna." He pulled her along with him but a hand on his wrist stopped him. Dammit. This was going to end badly. He didn't want to deal with Sasuke just yet.

Apparently Kanna had different plans. She pulled away from Naruto and gave him a big smile.

"OK blondie I'm going to go outside and getting a tan and hopefully won't die from the poison of roses. You need to figure out if your dreams are fantasy or reality." She then pulled the blonde close to her and whispered in his ear.

"If it is fantasy you might as well try to turn it into a reality." Naruto blushed and glared at his friend who was giggling and walking away from them. Wasn't she pissed just a second ago? What happened?

Feeling the grip on his wrist he turned to look at Sasuke who was looking at him with some emotion the blonde couldn't quite explain. Naruto saw movement and watched as Kiba made his way out as well. Now they would be totally alone.

Naruto took a breath and looked at the raven.

"Sas-"

"Do you remember me?" It was a simple question. But Naruto could hear so much emotion behind it. So much hope. He took a breath not sure how to handle this.

What was he supposed to say? 'Yeah I remember you and that I think we use to date and that I'm like totally in love with you and want to jump your bones right this second even if I am mad at you?' Like hell could he say that.

Earlier he wanted to find him and spill his guts about what the thought he remembered but now he just wanted to crawl in a hole.

"I-I…."

"Naruto." Said person looks away and he could feel a small blush coming on. He really did love it when Sasuke said his name. Gawd he hoped he wasn't some closet pervert.

I should probably just say it. That I do remember him but what else should I say? What all does he know and what all fact from fake for me in my dreams? Agggggghhhhhh this is so fucking frustrating.

Naruto looked at the ground. It wouldn't hurt to say that yeah he did remember him.

"Yeah I remember you...I think…" It was the truth.

The grip on his wrist tightened. "How much?"

Naruto looked up and gave a confused look. How much of what?

"How much do you remember? What is the last thing you remember about me? About us?"

Oh…. Well that was a problem since he wasn't really sure what was true from his dreams. Especially all the romance parts. He blushed at that. That didn't go unnoticed by Sasuke.

"Naruto what is the last thing you remember about us?"

He froze. What should he say? The last thing he remembered was Sasuke and him had just started dating and couldn't stop flirting with each other. But was that the truth? Were they really dating? Or was he going crazy?

Best bet was to tell of the parts before the whole confession in the woods thing happened. That was the safe bet then right? What would that be? They were swimming with Sakura and Ino. Would that be too close to the confession? It wasn't more than a few hours after that that they started dating…

"I remember us getting here to the Foundation and hanging with everyone. I also remember that I used to like totally hate you and you wanted to friends? That is kinda weird but oh well. I just know we were great friends before all hell broke loose."

It wasn't a complete lie since he didn't know the whole truth yet. This would be the safe bet.

Looking over at Sasuke he saw him smiling slightly but he also looked like he wanted to cry. It was kinda weird. He couldn't really recall the raven ever crying unless he still couldn't remember everything.

"So you can remember that much huh?" There was a new look in Sasuke's eyes and it made Naruto want to shiver. It was like he was looking at prey or something. Naruto took a step back.

"Yeah so now that that is solved can you let go of me?" He pointed to where Sasuke still had his hand on his wrist. The raven released the blonde but took a step closer. Naruto stiffened as Sasuke wrapped his arms around him and held onto him tightly.

"Wha-"

"As long as you can remember some of me it's a start…" Naruto blushed as he felt the arms tighten around him. He wasn't sure what to do or why Sasuke was hugging him. What did he mean it was a start?

Does he mean….Maybe we were…. Lovers….

Naruto licks his lips. He wanted to know so badly. If it was just some fantasy he would just tell him that he was probably mixing the memories with someone else.

"H-hey sasuke…. Were...you and me...to-"

"Hey duck ass! Do you think you could release the blondie? I need him."

"What do you mean there was an accomplice?" Sai stares down at the papers before him and grips the phone tighter. This could not be happening. Like hell could things this bad. No.

"I'm sorry sir. The killer Kyuubi was talking to one of our spies and admitted that he wasn't the only one who helped with the murders. Though it seems that the person separated from the killer before the whole Uzumaki incident. It is believed the suspect is dead, but we wanted to give you a warning since… well… With what happened with Officer Hyuuga."

Sai sighs into phone and closes his eyes. This was not good. Who could the other person be? There was suspicions that it was more than one person but that was at the beginning. They stopped suspecting when they could only find one trace of fingerprints.

"Did he describe the person in anyway?"

"No sir. He won't give anymore details on his partner."

"Thank you. Please call if anymore information is released." He hangs up the phone and looks down at the papers. It was of that red head woman. Surprisingly they had found a record with a girl of that name with Kanna's description but no picture. The more surprising thing is how little there was. There also wasn't any birth records or anything other than her blood type and last name. Also the blacked out piece where living relatives were. That either meant the person was now deceased or that person had done something where the government wanted said person to have nothing to do with the girl.

I suspect this is a made up name…. Was she in the witness protection? I can have one of my guys to hack into the files and find out who she really is but that would take some time and now we have to worry about another killer who may or may not be alive….

"I need to call HIM I guess. He'll want to know about this." Sai looks to the phone and wants nothing more than to throw the piece of machinery out the window. He hated that man. He should have never got involved with him.

It was never a good thing to make deals with murderers.

Sighing in relief or frustration the blonde wasn't sure as he turned to look at Kanna who had her arms crossed and a frown on her face. She was also looking more pale than usual and she wasn't looking directly to them. It was off to the side like she was waiting for something.

Naruto pushes off the raven who had not yet released him and ran over to the crimsette. He knew something wasn't right.

"Hey what's up?" He looks behind her and doesn't see anything but when he looks back at his friend she is still glancing behind her.

Kanna sighs and looks up at him and gives him a small smile. "We need to talk. In private. Now." She may have been smiling but her voice was low and chilling. Something big happened.

What's going on now?

Naruto looks back to Sasuke who was glaring at the girl. He sighs and shakes his head. They were never going to get along were they? It seemed his other friend's didn't really like Kanna.

Just as it was starting to get good too.

"Hey Sasuke… I need to go. Let's hang out some more later though." He hoped that he could get the courage and ask what their true relationship was but for now Kanna was more important.

The blonde turns around and Kanna grabs his hand and they begin to walk away. Naruto looks down at his friend and stares at her shoulders noticing they were shaking slightly. She must have really been shook up.

They walk up the stairs and to their room. Kanna slams the door open and Naruto barely has time to walk in before she slams the door shut.

"Hey what's the big deal Kanna?" He looks over at her as she bends under the bed and takes out their packing bags. She goes to the drawers and starts yanking clothes out and throwing them at the bags.

Naruto stares at her in confusion. What was she doing? Why is she trying to pack everything up? They weren't leaving yet. It would be too soon.

He runs over to her and grabs her hand full of clothes. "What the hell are you doing Kanna? What's wrong?"

She glares up at him and shakes her hand loose. She throws them to the bag before turning her attention to the blonde.

"We need to leave. Now. Grab your stuff and let's go." Naruto shakes his head. What was she saying? Leave? Why? He just got most of his memories back and everything.

He had just remembered Sasuke. He couldn't leave. Not now. Not until he found more out about them.

"Kanna stop. What are you saying? We can't just up and leave! Why do we need to leave?" Said crimsette looks up at him with so much emotion that Naruto's eyes widen and his heart skips a beat.

He had never seen her look so sad and distressed before.

"Kanna?"

She throws her clothes down and sits on the bed looking down at her lap.

"Please Sasu…Let's just leave. Let's go back home. Please."

Naruto bends down and looks up at his friend. She had her face scrunched up trying not to cry but tears were still peaking out. Naruto frowns; just what had happened while she wasn't with him.

"Kanna… Please tell me what happened?"

The girl wipes at her eyes and sighs. She looks away and takes a deep breath.

"Something bad is...goi...ing to happen… if we don't go!" Her voice was slowly rising as she said it. The crimsette suddenly stands which causes Naruto to fall back on his butt. He watches as she begins to pack their things again.

What… What does she mean bad things will happen? What the hell is going on here?

Standing up the blonde grabs Kanna's shoulders and turns her around. "What is going on Kanna? What happened?"

She shakes her head and more tears fall out.

"Kanna what happened?"

Naruto rubs her shoulders and lays his head on hers. He hated seeing her like this and not knowing how to help but what had just happened? He was so confused and worried.

The girl holds back another sob and takes a few deep breaths. She looks up at him her eyes wide and rimmed red from crying.

"If we stay… You're going to die."

It wasn't a mistake to tell her. It was part of the plan. He smiled remembering how pale she looked. How scared she was when she saw him.

It had been a while since she had seen him and it brought nothing more than joy to see her inch away in fear.

"Hmmm Now that she knows I'm back and that I have my sights set on a little mouse will she try to hide him again? Hehehehehehehehehehehe. This is too fun. Better than when Kurama was with me when we slaughtered the kids in the orphanage. Heheheheheehe."

The man stares at the building a sinister grin on his face. It was only a matter of time before things took a turn for the worst. For the mouse that was.

He laughs as he turns around and walks back into the woods.

He hummed a small tune as his mind wandered to his sick pleasures. To blood and screams in agony. They were music to his ears.

And this little blonde mouse would be the soloist to the performance.

A/N- So what do you guys think? I know you want to kill me and everything but guess what! I have great news! Next chapter guess which two characters finally get into action! Some intimate stuff in the next chapter with Sasuke and Naruto I promise! Thanks for sticking to this even though Kanna is pissing everyone off. Don't worry though she's about to get out of the way after some dramatic shit takes down!
