Hey guys! It's been a while. I'm sorry for the delay of this chapter. I've been busy in real life, but I finally catch up with things. I have this chapter in store for a while now, but sadly I just don't have the time to post it until now. I have a couple more chapters in store, so hopefully I could post the chapter in decent amount of times. Without further ado, this is chapter 10, and I hope you guys enjoy it!

Disclaimers: I do not own Harvest Moon or any of its characters.

I was fidgeting on the sofa, playing with thumbs while I waited for the doctor that Mirabelle had called. I wouldn't have known what my reaction would have been if the doctor mentioned had been the doctor I knew. The only thing I knew was this nervous feeling, and the dread for the moment of truth. I sighed, and I got a funny look from Julia. She had been pestering me on the reason behind my horrified look over meeting the doctor, but I just mumbled something random, making Julia more confused. I couldn't possibly tell them that the doctor they had called was someone I knew very well. Even though I haven't even seen the doctor, I was a hundred person sure that it was the same person.

It was the day after the incident, and now the weather was as nice as the first day of spring. Just a little bit hotter than spring. Mirabelle didn't let me go home, and the only thing I was relieved about was that Vaughn had left for the town that very early morning. It was Wednesday and he was needed back at the town.

"The doctor is here!" Natalie's voice suddenly sounded into the shop.

She was ordered to stay at the dock, so when the doctor arrived she would take him to the shop. I groaned since there's nothing I can do except to face this, well him. I just hoped that the words I'm hurt was not spreading around the other village or I would have been dead.

The black haired doctor came in, and I looked at him sheepishly because he gave me this stern look. He was not wearing his usual clothing but instead, he was wearing a white shirt with beige vast on the top of it. He was wearing a green pants and that ridiculous head thing he usually wore was gone. So he actually could dress, I thought darkly.

"You're accident prone." Dr. Trent said.

I sniffed my nose in the air, and looked at him from the corner of my eyes as he came closer. "Walking in the storm, getting yourself almost killed in the process and then hurting your knee." He said as he crouched down and took out his medical equipment and started checking on my knee.

"I hurt my knee first." I mumbled.

He looked at me and raised one of his eyebrows, but that worked back on checking on my knee before giving some balm over it and start bandaging it. Sighing, he stood up and looked at Mirabelle, "Make sure she stay relaxed for the next three or four days." He ordered passing the medical balm he used on me to Julia. "And put that one when you change her bandage." He added.

Gasping, I started to complain. "B-but, my farm. My cow." I said.

"Your knee couldn't handle the strain of hard labor right now. Better you stay relax for a couple of days rather than making it even worse." He said.

I mumbled something inappropriate under my breath, resulting a smirk from the black haired man. "You're just lucky that I'm the one who received the call, or the news of your incident would have spread around the whole village. Imagine if your mom and dad know this." He said. I scowled at him and sighed because it was true, if my parents actually found out about this, my mom would have tagged along with Trent and she would have pampered me until she was sure I was okay. She might even have dragged father so he could take care of my farm. I shook my head fondly at the thought of my parents.

"I better be going." Dr. Trent said as he put his medical equipment back into the black bag and stood up. "Good day. And Chels, listen to my advice for once or you face the consequence." He said warningly before he walked out with Natalie in tow.

I looked up to find Julia frowning at me and then back at the door where the doctor just walked out and back to me. I didn't say a word, but just gave her a questioning look. "You know the doctor?" She asked. I sighed, knowing this would be coming after my familiar interaction with the doctor. "He's my childhood friend. Older than me. And he's taken, happily married to my best friend back home. So don't get any idea." I said, warning Julia before her matchmaking mind started working. It seems that's all Julia would ever think of, either that or about that nerdy boy who happened to be Natalie's brother.

"I didn't think anything!" Julia retorted.

"Yeah right. I know that look." I said trying to relax on the sofa.

"What look?" this time Julia said a little bit too innocent.

"Matchmaking look."

Julia sent me a dark look before turning and put the balm Dr. Trent gave her at the top of the coffee table. "But it would have been nice to have a doctor here."

I just closed my eyes, deciding that it would be better to ignore her rather than confront her. The more you deny Julia the more persistent and annoying she would be. And I'm too tired to deal with her yapping about men. Don't get me wrong, but Julia can be so annoying when someone doesn't want to talk about something. She just didn't know when to stop. Well, she had her moments, but most of the time she was like a hedgehog, stubborn and kept going. It was a refreshing trait when you wanted her to do something productive, but it could be really annoying when what she's talking about was personal that I rather not share with anyone. I fell asleep with that thought in my mind, perhaps when I wake up, I would ask Julia to back off a little bit regarding my love-life, or the lack of it.

- - -Tomorrow Morning- - -

"Chelsea!"

I almost jumped out from the sofa where I had fallen asleep after dinner, when I heard Julia's high-pitched scream. I slowly and carefully move my legs down, and looked over my shoulder. Julia was rushing towards me; her eyes were sparkling like a star. Julia plopped herself next to me, and looked like, as though her bubble would burst or something. "I'm going on a date!" She said excitedly. I blinked carefully, as if there's something wrong with my hearing and prompted her again. "Date?" Julia nodded vigorously. I thought who might call on a date to Julia. There are at least 3 men in the island right now. One is Denny. The other one would be that childish chef, Pierre. The last one is Natalie's nerdy brother Elliot.

Oh, I forgot to tell you about Denny and Pierre didn't I? Well, Denny is a fisherman, through and through I tell you. He's always fishing at the Sprout Town's beach, before usually having lunch at the Café followed by dinner at the Diner. He has black hair that was covered with a purple bandana. While Pierre is a very cute man, or a man-child I like to call him, and he wear all purple, even his chef hat. He always brought his spoon, and the only thing he talked about is food, food and food.

"Who asked you?"

Julia blushed, and mumbled something under her breath and I poked her just because. "Okay. Okay! I'm the one that asked him. Well, not exactly a date anyway, but…" Julia mumbled again. I sighed and looked expectantly at Julia, because now that she's talking about it there's no way I'm letting it go. If she said she doesn't want to talk about it then that's another matter.

"Fine! It's Elliot. I told him that I would cook for him tonight!" Julia said, her hands waving around the air. I did not know that Julia can cook, but perhaps that's something I never saw before. "You can cook?" I asked Julia.

Julia bit her lips, shaking her head as she scoffed, "How hard can it be?" before standing up and helped me to walk to the kitchen and dining room and served me Mirabelle's porridge. I ate while looking at Julia and shook my head. She looked so dreamy that I didn't have the heart to say that cooking was not as easy as she thought it would be. I just hoped things would turn out to be the better for her.

"Make sure, you put me in your bedroom before you play hostess." I said to Julia.

Finally, she nodded and left me when Mirabelle called upon her. Asking her to tend the animal for now. I sighed, knowing somehow that tonight's date would have a certain meaning to Julia and Elliot's relationship, if there's any, and I just hoped that it would not be a mess, has Julia had never cooked ever in her lifetime.
