DISCLAIMER - I DO NOT OWN PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS!

Thalia POV

"Percy?" I asked. He couldn't really be attacking us, could he? Nonono, this can't be happening! Did our friendship mean nothing to him?! But Nico looks so shaken up, I have no choice then to believe what I'm told. Percy. How could you?

"Y-Yes, It's him" Nico looks like he's on the verge of tears, Percy was like a big brother to Nico, and now he has turned himself against us. The worst thing is, I don't think I could hurt him, neither can Nico, he is still the old Seaweed Brain to me. Throwing around careless smiles and jokes and lighting up the mood wherever he went. But would I have done the same in his position? Betrayed by my family and friends, would I have run away and vowed revenge on those who wronged me? I think I would've. But now is not the time for thinking, I have to confront Percy and maybe, just maybe I can convince him to stop this madness.

"It's not madness, it's the logical thing to do" A voice whispers in my head. Ok, am I going insane now?

"Haha, mortals and their poor grasp of insanity, I would love to show you real insanity, sadly, I only have a short while in your head, and I need to utilize my time well." The voice laughed ominously.

"Who, no, what are you?" I ask the voice.

"Hmmm, good question, I am Koros, leader of the voidborn, my dear mortal." The voice said.

"Who? What the hell are the voidborn, are you the next in line to destroy Olympus?" I ask tiredly, I am really having enough of the people who think they can just waltz over Olympus.

"Well, you could say that I am planning on destroying Olympus yes, but that is only a small goal in comparison to the main event!" The voice chattered excitedly.

"Well, since you're in my head, I can ask you, what is your main goal?" I ask, eager to know what this stranger is up to, besides world domination of course.

The voice seems to ponder this question for a while. Then it seems to make up it's mind.

"Fine! I'll tell you. nosy mortal! I am planning on overthrowing Chaos himself, and there is NOTHING you can do to stop me! NOTHING!" It screams.

"Yeah, yeah, they often say that." I answer

"Shut up! I need to go now, it was fun looking inside your brain! Probably learned some new tricks with a spear, puny maggot!" It said, then I felt it retreat out of my mind, which was fine by me, I like to have privacy inside my head. I realized I had zoned out while I was having lovely small talk with Koros, I quickly focused back on the conversation.

"We can't do anything, Nico, the camp is in danger too!" Chiron says

"If you don't do anything, The Underworld will be overrun and the enemy will not only have a foothold, but also an army as there are plenty of dead who want a second chance!" Nico answers.

"Chiron, can't we send a few campers, just the best, to bolster Hades' lines?" I ask carefully.

"Urgh. I suppose I have no choice." Chiron says in a defeated tone.

"But, as Nico is the son of Hades, I believe it is appropriate he may choose his companion." Chiron continues.

"Only one person?! How is that supposed to make a difference?!" Nico asks flabbergasted.

"If you choose wisely, Nico, one person can change the battle." Chiron says.

"Fiiine, I pick Thalia." Nico says, immediatly an uproar of protest is heard from several campers. But most prominent are Annabeth and Kevin.

"Thalia?! But I am the smartest, best camper here, you should take me!" Annabeth shouts enraged.

"Seriously, you have once choice and you pick her? Well, whatever dude, I can't believe they call you smart." Kevin says with surprise. I glare at them both

"Annabeth, you are nothing but a stuck up bitch, if I ever need an oversized package of hubris, I'll knock on your door, you seem to be camping with too much anyway." Nico says.

"And Kevin, I am way smarter than you if you think you are a better choice then Thalia, go deflate your ego before I have to do it for you." Nico continues. Before Annabeth or Kevin can make a move, Nico and I get sucked into two different portals. Next thing I know, I fall flat on my face on Hades' coffee table.

"Oh, sorry, I should really practise teleporting others more." Hades says apolagetically, yeah, like that's ever gonna happen.

"No problem dad." Nico says with a grim face, he hit the table with his toe and is trying to keep his face straight. (A/N That hurts!)

"Where are the others?" Hades asked, I feel obliged to answer since I came representing the camp force (or the lack of it).

"Chiron decided that only one camper could accompany Nico, Lord Hades." I said, waiting to be incinerated or eaten by Cerberus.

"Gah, Chiron and his ways, that horse has as many brain cells as he has legs!" Hades said annoyed.

"Well, it will be the two of you and my personal army, good luck, and try not to fall into the Styx." He added hastily. That's very reassuring.

"What are you waiting for? Go kick some asses!" Hades yelled, wow, I never expected to hear that from a god. But we hastily scrambled out of the door and through the palace. I had never seen Hades' palace before, and let me tell you, he had some cool shit, the doors were all ginormous and opened by themselves, everything was black, which I didn't mind at all. The only thing that unsettled me a bit was all the voices that seemed to cry from dark hallways. Nico seemed to notice me looking into those doorways where I heard voices calling out to me.

"Don't mind them, they just want to scare you." He said, I wasn't sure if I wanted to know who 'them' was, probably not.

When we finally bursted out of the front door of the palace, the undead soldiers that Hades' army consisted of, had already formed ranks and were raising their shield. About three hundred yards away I saw an army coming. When I got a good look at the army, I lost all hope of victory, there were hundreds, if not thousands of monsters barreling towards us. I saw huge insect-like creatures, skeletal warriors and mages with strange black weaponry. I also caught a brief glimpse of some sort of purple creature with vicious talons, before it became invisible. Ok, if we are dealing with invisible monsters with razor sharp talons, I'm out. But I couldn't show fear infront of Nico, he would think I was weak and he'll make fun of me for the rest of my life, but seeing the enemy rush towards us, I wasn't sure if I still had a life to look forward to. Then, at the front of the army, I saw the one person I did not want to meet in battle, none other than Percy Jackson. Nico saw him too, how do I know? Simple, he became paler and his expression was pained.

"It's him" I said, that was all there was to say, our worst fears had become reality, my best friend was here to destroy those I cared about, well, not really, I only really cared for Nico at Camp Half-Blood, and of course the other veterans of the Second Titan war, but the rest, they were just Kevin's lackeys, and while I couldn't bring myself to fight them, I wouldn't mind if anyone else did it.

"There are so many..." Nico said with despair.

"Don't worry, we've had worse fights than this." But even as I said this, I knew it wasn't true, granted, we had stopped Kronos' army with only a hundred soldiers, but these monsters seemed to be much more powerful than your average telkhine. These were monsters that neither of us had faced before, these were monsters in their own league.

"We have to keep them away as long as possible, everyone, LOCK SHIELDS!" Nico shouted. Immediatly all the zombies raised their shields in a defensive posture, the enemy was already almost at our lines.

"CHARGE!" Nico shouted. As one, the undead gurgled something that sounded like a battle cry and surged forward to meet the enemy. We were close in pursuit, now that I saw the amount of undead on our side, my hope returned, the enemy didn't even outnumber us! That was before Percy decided to let everyone know he was there.

It began when their entire army suddenly stopped dead in their tracks, confused, Nico and I ordered the undead to run faster. Percy just stood there motionless with open handpalms aimed at the floor, slowly, dark energy began to swirl between his fingers, I didn't think much of it at first, it seemed so harmless, a little black fire. Big mistake. Within seconds, the fire grew in size until it was bigger than a soccer ball. Just before our soldiers slammed into Percy's lines, he let loose a primal scream and thrust his hands outwards. From each palm sprang a cone of pure dark energy, vaporizing many zombies, and launching back many more. As chaos spread through our ranks, Percy's soldiers surged forward once again. Each monster let loose it's own battlecry, together creating a deafening roar that rattled my skull. However, the undead were quick to reform their ranks and were able to raise their shields just before the enemy lines hit them. But then came the inevitable contact, thousands of soldiers on both sides started pushing, shield against shield. It was like the biggest wrestling match ever. Eventually our army created openings and flooded inside enemy guard.

"Good, we have the first attack" I thought. I saw Percy slashing and hacking at everything he saw. Unfortunately for him, all the undead killed would be revived at Hades' palace.

But then one of those damn giant insects made a breakthrough in our defenses and the enemy surged past our shield line.

"Alright Thals, time for some action!" Nico shouted. Together we charged at the monsters that had broken through. I summoned lightning and Nico summoned some sort of death magic and together we blasted several dozens of monsters to wherever they came from. Then suddenly I was blasted away from Nico by some sort of mage with a scary looking staff. It hurt really bad, but I didn't see any wounds, it was just a dull ache from the impact, I suspect. I quickly got up and ran at the mage whilst summoning my spear and infusing it with lighting energy, he tried to impale me on his staff, but I sidestepped and gave him an upper cut with my spear.

The next thing I saw was one of the huge bugs charging at me, I did a combat roll out of the way, and while it charged past, I stabbed it in it's side, unfortunately, It's armor was too thick too pierce, and it was also very quick for a creature it's size, it caught me by surprise when one of it's six armored legs smashed into my shield and knocked me back. Black spots danced in front of my eyes, and when I shook them away, I saw it looming over me with one leg raised to impale me, in a frantic attempt to ward it off I summoned a huge bolt of lighting and shot it straight at it's belly, which was the biggest target I had, and apparently, it's belly is a weak spot in its armor, because I charred it and the monster fell over, slowly dissolving.

I picked up my spear and ran forward. A skeletal warrior came straight towards me with his sword mid-swing. I parried the sword with my spear tip and brought the warrior out of balance, as he fell towards me I swiftly impaled him and waited for him to dissolve enough that I was sure he was dead. Immediatly a dozen or so more warriors encircled me, they slowly closed in on me, I figured now was a good time to summon some more lightning, so I thrust my hands up to the sky and then to either side of me, two massive bolts slammed the ground around me and dissolved the warriors into dust.

I was trying to catch my breath after summoning that much lightning, when suddenly my shield flew away, I couldn't see anything, but something had knocked the shield out of my hand. I briefly felt a disturbance in the air behind me and I quick as a flash I raised my spear and twirled around. Just in time, I blocked a very sharp talon inches from my face, slowly, more became visible of the creature that had attacked me. I traced it's arm as it became visible, and before I knew it I was staring into a pair of deep purple eyes that seemed to burn of hatred. I pushed as hard as I could and forced the creature back a bit. Where it suddenly vanished, fortunately for me, as a daughter of Zeus, I could feel where it went because it disturbed the air as it moved. Unfortunately for me, it was so fast I could hardly trace it, then I felt it stop briefly at my right and pain flared in my side. I quickly thrust my spear to where I thought it was, and was rewarded by an ear piercing screech and the sound of a monster dissolving. I looked at my side and saw what the creature had done, it had sliced three deep, long gashes in my side and I was bleeding profusely. Then I remembered that I had a can of Nectar strapped to my belt. I quickly grabbed it, it was almost empty, this was the only healing I would be able to do, after this, my Nectar would be finished. I quickly gulped down what was left and felt the wounds close. Not completely though, it still hurt like hell if I leaned too much on my injured side. But it would have to do, as there were many more monsters to slay.

The next thirty or so minutes I went on autopilot, slash, roll, jab, slash. I killed many monsters, including two more of those damn invisible monsters. Before I could start to feel my arms getting tired. And to make things worse, one more giant bug caught my scent and came barrelling towards me. In a split-second decision I decided to roll under it. I had learned that it's leg joints were als weak, and it's tail. As I rolled under it. I cut of one off it's legs. It roared and spun around, giving the perfect chance to slide under it and impale it from below, and that's exactly what I did.

"Hmmm, you've found their weak spots, have you?" A voice spoke from my right. I looked to see who spoke, when I saw it, my breath caught in my throat.

"Percy..." I breathed.

"Yes, it's me." He said calmly. Anger suddenly flared in me, how dare he just calmly talk about betraying his friends?! I got so angry I summoned a ball of electricity in the palm of my hand and shot it straight at him. Before it could hit him, he quickly summoned a wall of black fire and it consumed my bolt. His face was now showing just how enraged he was about this all.

"You! You were the one person who I thought would understand! I was betrayed by my own family and friends, the same people who had just before that wished me a happy ever after! They all turned their backs on me, found a new puppet to play with! Well, no more, I am here to break the cycle, And this time, I won't fail, I always fought for the gods because they were the lesser of two evils! Now, I am certain I have found the true good gods, a new family who actually cares about me and not my achievements! I will serve The Primordials and Chaos to my death!" He screamed. All his allied monsters seemed to inch away from him while he was getting angrier and angrier. My instincts told me to run for my life, I could feel the power rolling off him. But I held firm.

"No Percy, you are wrong, some of us still believed in you, and you let us down." I said quietly. At that moment his face changed from enraged to emotionless, which was far more scary.

"I, let you down?" He asked very slowly. As he was talking flames started to lick at his feet.

"Thalia Grace" I winced, he never used my full name.

"Isn't this ironic, the betrayers trying to blame the betrayed?" As he said this, I got angry once again.

"Just stop this madness and come back to us!" I screamed in vain.

"Come back? To you? To my torturers and betrayers? Is that what you want? To watch me suffer as the gods exact their revenge? Are you that heartless?" He asked in a quiet tone. I visibly flinched, was I heartless? When Percy finished speaking, two flashed erupted from behind him, they were so bright, I had to close my eyes. When I opened them again, I saw what I assumed to be Tartarus and Erebus standing behind Percy.

"Thalia Grace, it would be wise to leave my brother now, haven't you done enough already?" Tartarus said in an ancient, cold voice.

"Yes, leave now before you will know a Primordial's wrath, and take Nico di Angelo with you." Erebus said. Suddenly I heard fourteen flashes behind me, and when I looked over my shoulder I saw the entire Olympian Council plus Hestia and Hades. Nico came running towards us and stood beside me, I felt confident, I had fourteen gods behind me.

"No, you three are the trespassers here." Zeus said with pride. This seemed to infuriate Erebus and Tartarus. Percy still looked emotionless as he scanned the over the ones who betrayed him. Before Tartarus or Erebus could react to Zeus' words, more flashes erupted behind the three Primordials. And suddenly there stood Ouranos, Pontus, Chronus, Nyx, Ananke, Aether, Hemera, Gaia, and finally, with the biggest flash of them all, Chaos. (A/N Those might not be all the Primordials, but I don't know all of them, these I know for sure.)

Everyone looked at each other, and the Olympians and Primordials drew their weapons, the combined auras of all these deities made my stomach churn and my vision blur, one thing I did know for sure, if this came to a showdown between the gods and Primordials, Nico and me had to get out of the crossfire. I grabbed Nico's arm and dragged him away quickly. Both sides walked forward slowly, the Olympians and Primordials stood there looking at each other, shoulder to shoulder.

"So, is this it?" Nico asked me quietly.

"You know as good a I do that this could mean the end of the world, Nico." I said seriously, and the look on his face told me he very much realized it, this could be Earth's last days. So much raw power was in the air that it literally began to condense. Breathing was hard and I was getting tired from oxygen defficiency.

"Children, is this truly what you want? Do you want it to end here?" Chaos asked.

"Bring it on old man." Poseidon said. As one, all the Olympians and Primordials started charging up their various powers. For several seconds nothing really happened. Suddenly I felt Nico grab me and I felt the familiar feeling of shadow travelling. The last scene I saw before I vanished was The Olympians and their undead army facing The Primordials and their own monster army. Both sides shouted an ear piercing battle cry before charging. Then I was consumed by the shadows.

Unkown POV

A tall figure sat in an enormous chair, watching through what seemed to be an Iris message of The Olympians and The Primordials staring each other down. Suddenly, a scrawny figure came bolting through the door.

"Master, our armies are getting restless, they want action." The scrawny figure said.

"Good, tell them to arm themselves, whilst those pathetic Olympians are keeping Chaos and his brood busy, we can strike, they will never know what hit them." The tall figure said whils laughing maniacally.
