Part 10: Test of Power

Hinata was in her room crying into her bed, she was crying into her pillow as she tried to think about something positive, but as she tried she couldn't stop thinking about how fast the romance between her and Naruto came and dried up just as quickly, the Naruto she knew and loved was away right now and she didn't know what to do to bring him back, the Naruto she knew was sweet, kind, courageous, loving and accepting, and the Naruto that was with her now was self centered, detached, obsessed with his own power, and completely ignoring Hinata when she thought things were going great between them...

Hinata found herself lonely and detached herself, she didn't feel like eating or doing anything for that matter and fell into a depression, she just lied down in her bed, face down with a face full of tears and crying herself to sleep, Naruto may have never physically harmed Hinata but he gave her an emotional wound that no Jutsu could ever cure...

Naruto walked into Tsunade's office and leaned against the wall next to her desk with his arms folded across his chest and said: "You called for me Tsunade?" Tsunade smirked and said: "Well it seems like you're feeling better Naruto... Thats good because I have some training for you to do.."

Naruto snickered and said: "yeah right training... You really think I need more training? I've become stronger than you and Kakashi combined!" Tsunade snapped back: "Don't be so foolish you're a mere Genin! Me and Kakashi both outrank you!"

Naruto argued back: "Rank and Power are two very different things you know it as much as I do Tsunade!"

Tsunade took a deep breath and calmed herself down even though Naruto had offended her, but he did have a fair point no one as far as we know has witnessed his power since he got back...

Tsunade calmly and slowly said: "Alright Naruto if you can beat Kakashi one-on-one then I will appoint you a Chunin, and if you lose you have to take training lessons for three months, got it?"

Naruto loved the idea of a challenge against his old Sensei and said with a dark smile: "Just tell me the time and place, and I'll be there."

Kakashi and Naruto met at team 7's old training grounds and stared each other down, after a few minutes of silence Kakashi smirked and said: "What's wrong Naruto I thought you would like to make the first move..."

Naruto smiled darkly and said: "Be careful what you ask for Kakashi Sensei..."

And without a second's warning he performed sixteen seperate hand signs and said: "Forbidden Jutsu! Dark Seal release!"

And with an explosion of fire red, sky blue, and night black chakra Naruto leaped forward so fast not even Kakashi could keep up, slamming his fist into Kakashi's stomach. knocking him hard into a tree, Kakashi got back up on his feet, put down his book, uncovered his Sharinghan and said: "Okay Naruto let's do this!"

Naruto concentrated and mixed his red chakra with his new black chakra and yelled: "Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

About ten thousand Naruto clones appeared and the closest two had both their hands swirling a huge colored mass of chakra in his hand, a split second later he uses all his remaining clones to hold Kakashi down as Naruto appeared next to Kakashi and yelled: "Rasengan!"

And with a colorful explosion of chakra Kakashi's Shadow Clone Disappears into a puff of smoke, Kakashi appeared next to him a split second later and Kicked him hard in the gut and ribs which knocked Naruto into a tree and a minute later he spat up blood, a voice echoed in the back of his head: "Damn Naruto you really suck at Chakra Control... You remember our little deal right?" "Now It's my turn..."

Naruto began muttering to himself: "Please no! Let me try again I can control it!"

Then all of the sudden Naruto's face suddenly went blank, a long second later his face is replaced by rather emotionless expression, he began fluxing his muscles and muttered to himself: "Hmmm this body is strong I could do some damage with this..."

Kakashi's face had an expression of confusion and he asked: "Naruto are you alright?"

Naruto snickered and replied: "Naruto went to sleep for a while... Nice to meet you Kakashi." He paused for a second and a large mass of night black chakra poured out of him and he said: "My name's Darkness."

As he introduced himself Naruto's eyes glowed demon red.
