"Yu Tendo has just defeated Tyson Granger! That means that he wins the Survival Battle!" The Blader DJ said.
"And now, Yu Tendo, will you make your way to the podium so you can make your wish." Blader DJ said.
As Yu ran to meet Blader DJ, Tyson met up with Gingka and the others.
"Hey guys" Tyson said.
"Hey" Gingka said.
"Sorry about your loss, Tyson" Kenta said.
"It's okay. It wouldn't be the first time that I lost to someone." Tyson said as he thought about his many losses over the years.
Soon they all gathered in front of the podium where Yu and Blader DJ were standing.
"Alright Yu, you won the Survival Battle tournament. As the winner, you get to make a wish!" Blader DJ said.
"Right. I only have one wish: BATTLE BLADERS!" Yu declared.

To Another World Chapter 10: The Road to Battle Bladers
There was a moment of silence after Yu declared his wish. Everyone looked confused and curious as to what Battle Bladers was.
"Huh?"
"Battle Bladers?"
"What's that?"
"It's a huge Beyblade tournament!" Yu said.
"You mean like the one we just competed in?" Tyson interrupted.
"Yeah, but this one is better! A nation-wide tournament, something that people across the country can enter! And there will only be one-on-one battles. Wouldn't that be great? To decide who the strongest Blader in the country is? In the Survival Battle, you could lose from someone messing up your battle. But in this tournament, you only have your own strength to rely on!" Yu said.
"That's true. This way, you have to rely on only your own skills and the strength of your Bey."
"Wouldn't it be great if we could finally decide who the best Blader is? To battle it out to decide who deserves to be number one? What better way to do that than by competing in a tournament where the best of the best can compete? That way, whoever wins will no doubt be the best of the best. Whoever wins will then be known as the King of Bladers. Wouldn't that be fun?" Yu asked.
There were murmurs of agreement from the crowd.
"Yeah, that will be awesome!"
"A chance to see who the number one Blader is? That's awesome!"
Gingka had a look of glee.
"A chance to battle it out and see who the best is? That will be so fun!" Gingka said.
"This will be interesting. Count me in" Kyoya agreed.
"Ba-Bull! There's no way I can turn down a challenge like this!" Benkei said.
Everyone who was there had approved of this idea.
And how could they not?
This was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity.
All across the nation, people who had watched the Survival Battle on TV had excitedly approved this idea.
Everywhere throughout Metal Bey City, people were awed as they watched the big screen in which Yu made his request.
In the dark lair of the Dino Dynasty, Takumi smiled evilly as he watched Yu on the big screen.
He knew that his rival, the Dark Nebula, was up to something but this was unexpected.
Not to mention perfect!
If he and his minions were to enter this tournament, then he could absorb all the Bit Beasts of each Blader. And those Bit Beasts were the key to activating the machine that would revive the dinosaurs.
A chance to destroy humanity and be declared the number one Blader. How could Takumi resist?
Meanwhile, Tyson was thinking something similar.
Aside from the Survival Battle, he hadn't had any real challenges since the BEGA incident.
But back then, he was too busy making sure that Boris wouldn't control all the Beyblading in the world to really enjoy the challenges.
But if he could enter this tournament, he wouldn't have to worry about that. There were no evil plans to stop, no lives to save, or any of that. This was a chance to just battle for the sheer thrill of it. And the winner of the tournament would become the undisputed champion of the country.
Tyson only had one reaction to that.
"I'm so ready for this!" Tyson said.
Of course, unbeknownst to Tyson, there WERE evil forces behind the tournament.
A helicopter flew towards the scene.
"What is that?" Tyson said to himself.
Gingka paled at the familiar design on the helicopter.
"Is that…it can't be!" Gingka said.
The helicopter slowed down and descended towards the stage.
The door opened, and out came a man in a purple suit. He had dark brown hair with a strand of yellow hair in the front.
He stepped out of the helicopter with a calm yet confident look on his face.
The demeanor of this man reminded Tyson of Boris.
At the thought of his resemblance to Boris, a wave of anger flew through Tyson's being as he thought of the evil man that Tyson and his friends put a stop to more than once.
He took an instant disliking to this man just because of that.
However, it seems as if he wasn't the only one who was displeased because of his appearance.
"Why are you here, Doji?!" Gingka demanded.
"It's nice to see you too, Gingka Hagane. As for your question, I am here because the beginning of Battle Bladers has officially been announced, of course. As its sponsor, it would be incredibly rude of me not to offer my greetings to all of you." Doji said.
Gingka and the others gasped except for Tyson who just looked confused.
"Sponsor?! You must be joking! How could you be?!" Gingka said.
"Yeah, how could you be? This is a prize for the winner of the Survival Battle, so Battle Bladers will also be sponsored by the WBBA!" the Blader DJ said.
"That will not do!" Doji said.
"It won't?! But…why not?!" Blader DJ asked, clearly intimidated by Doji.
"Obviously, we will have the full cooperation of the WBBA. However, I will be the one to manage and control the entire competition. Which is only natural, wouldn't you agree, Yu?" Doji asked.
"Huh? Why's he talking to Yu?" Madoka demanded.
"That's right. That's what we agreed on from the beginning after all." Yu said.
"Agreed on?" Kenta asked.
"What do you mean 'agreed'?!" Gingka demanded.
"Don't tell me you're…" Kyoya started.
"That's correct! In order to ensure that Battle Bladers would take place, we implanted one of our own members in." Doji explained.
"Wait, so Yu is…" Gingka started.
"A member of our organization" Doji said.
Tyson couldn't take it anymore.
"I'm sorry to interrupt but what the heck is going on here?!" Tyson asked bringing everyone's attention to him.
"That's Doji. He's the leader of the Dark Nebula!" Gingka said.
"Him?" Tyson asked.
"Yeah. He's the head honcho of the organization"
It was then that Doji briefly locked eyes with Tyson, his gaze curious and calculating.
But then he looked away, dismissing Tyson as non-important.
Somehow, that made Tyson feel insulted.
"In any case," Doji continued, "only the best of the best will be able to compete in Battle Bladers. Which means not everyone will be able to compete."
"That's right. You have to have a certain amount of Bey Points to enter" Yu agreed.
"Yu, tell our audience how many Bey Points will be required to enter." Doji said.
"Um, how about 50,000?"
"That sounds good."
"Alright then," he held up five fingers, "you need 50,000 Bey Points to enter. La-la-la-la-la, it's decided!"
Everyone was taken aback at this.
"50,000 points! That's insane!"
"This way," Doji continued, "only the strongest Bladers will be able to compete"
"And the best part will be when Ryuga defeats everyone and takes the crown as champion!" Yu said.
"What? Ryuga!" Gingka said in shock.
Dragoon vibrated weakly. Soon after, Tyson's head suddenly shot up as his senses were assaulted by a feeling of immense power. Darn, that was more power than he'd ever felt before in his whole life, and it seemed to be concentrated in one Beyblade! How in the world could a single Beyblade be that powerful?
And then he saw the source of that power as a figure on the cliff of the mountain next to them.
Lightning flashed behind him the moment he appeared; almost as if the earth was trying to tell everyone that this was not someone to mess with.
"There's three months until Battle Bladers." he said.
Gingka glared at Ryuga.
"Ryuga, what are you doing here?!" Gingka asked.
"I could ask you the same question. I'm surprised you're still using your Bey. I guess you never learn, do you?" Ryuga responded.
Tyson wasn't impressed by Ryuga at first.
How could he be?
His hair made him look like a freak, he was wearing a tiara of all things, and he sounded like he had spent the last week sucking on helium.
But there was darkness in Ryuga's eyes that Tyson could not ignore.
A darkness that Tyson had learned to recognize in the faces of his enemies.
Ryuga was a person who shouldn't be taken lightly.
Then, Tyson felt several vibrations throughout his body but he already knew what it was.
It was Dragoon.
He was vibrating like crazy.
What was more surprising to Tyson was Ryuga's power level.
In the years that Tyson has spent competing among the best Bladers of the world, Tyson had learned to recognize another Blader's power level.
And Ryuga's was off the charts!
It was unlike anything he had ever seen!
Ryuga had said several more things, but Tyson was so out of it that he didn't pay any attention to what he said.
He was broken out of his daze when Gingka ran by him, launcher in hand.
"Wait, Ryuga! Do you really think I'll wait a whole three months? I'll settle this here and now!" Gingka yelled.
Tyson, sensing what Gingka was about to do, tried to stop him.
"Wait. Don't! He's too strong!" Tyson said.
Gingka paid no attention to Tyson as he launched Pegasus.
"Bad move, Gingka!" Ryuga said.
Ryuga launched his Bey.
Lightning L-Drago clashed with Storm Pegasus and instantly Pegasus was knocked back down to the ground.
Ryuga recalled his Bey and jumped in the helicopter that Doji and Yu had entered.
"You are not strong enough yet Gingka. If you want to battle me, then enter Battle Bladers."
Ryuga closed the door of the helicopter and flew off.
Gingka stared at Pegasus which was wobbling on the ground.
"Pegasus…" Gingka said.
Gingka had a silent but worried look on his face.
"Gingka, are you okay?" Kenta asked.
"What's with that guy? He's even more powerful than before!" Kyoya said.
"I hate to admit it, but he's more powerful than I expected." Tyson said.
"What are you going to do, Gingka?" Kenta asked.
"Fine. If he says he'll be waiting at Battle Bladers, then I'll make sure to make it to the top and this time I will defeat him. Count me in! Alright, BATTLE BLADERS!" Gingka yelled.
"YEAH!" everyone shouted.

Meanwhile, the Dark Nebula helicopter was flying away from the scene.
Ryuga hadn't taken his eyes off his Bey.
"Gingka Hagane. This time it took more than one attack to defeat you. When Battle Bladers comes, you will be able to provide me with much more amusement." he said.
In another part of the helicopter, Doji sat next to Yu.
"Yu, I'll have to offer you my thanks." Doji said.
"Ah, there's no need to thank me for something so easy. Defeating those Bladers was a piece of cake." Yu said.
"Actually, I was referring to something different. You see, up until recently, I've been having serious doubts about holding Battle Bladers at all. It was my belief that there was no one in the land who could possibly challenge L-Drago. My view changed when I met you. Even though you lost to Ryuga, you still proved to be quite a challenge. And I realized that there are other Bladers like you, waiting to be discovered. Bladers with exceptional talent and skill. By holding Battle Bladers, we will draw out these Bladers. Once they lose to Ryuga, their Bey-energy will be feasted upon by L-Drago who will then become the strongest Bey in existence." Doji explained.
"I'm just happy to help Ryuga. Sure he defeated me, but I don't care. He's just so cool, and he's the first one to manage to defeat me! His L-Drago is just so awesome! But I have to admit, the other guy who had an L-Drago was pretty cool too." Yu said.
That last part immediately caught Doji's attention.
"Other guy? What other guy?" Doji said.
"You didn't watch the battle? There was this other Blader wearing a red jacket and baseball cap. He also had an L-Drago and he nearly defeated me. But I won!" Yu said triumphantly.
"Oh really?" Doji asked, while his memory flashed back to that Blader he saw before.
Doji didn't know how to handle the information of there being another L-Drago. There was nothing in the Beyblade myths and legends that mentioned a second L-Drago.
Not that he knew of anyway.
This information was…disturbing.
What was more disturbing was the fact that this Blader had nearly defeated Yu and had joined Gingka Hagane's entourage.
Whoever this mystery Blader was, he was probably as strong as Gingka if not more powerful. A Blader that powerful could hinder the Dark Nebula's plans.
Especially if he had decided to join up with Gingka Hagane.
But Doji decided not to waste his time with this. For all he knew, the information Yu gave him could have been false.
After all, Yu was only ten years old and 10-year-olds had a habit of stretching the truth.
But just to be on the safe side, he will research some more about this 'Tyson' and he would determine whether or not he was a threat…

The Blader DJ's voice boomed as he talked through the television.
"Alright, it's time to find the nation's strongest! Who is the number one Blader? Let's let Battle Bladers come to life and answer these questions! To qualify for this competition, each Blader must have 50,000 points. For those of you without enough points, the WBBA will be holding qualifying tournaments in various locations. Due to the difficulty of the battles, the number of points for winning will be very high. You will be able to get a lot of points in a single match. Or you could steadily win small amounts of points in junior tournaments. Who wants the title of number one Blader? If you do, grab your Bey and get in the game! Our motto is: Go Battle Bladers!"
Madoka turned the TV off.
"Hmm, a tournament to decide the number one Blader, huh?" Madoka said.
"I have to admit, a chance to see who the strongest Blader in the country is would be pretty sweet." Tyson said.
Madoka nodded her head, "That's true, a competition like that would be every Blader's dream but…"
"The Dark Nebula Organization." Gingka stated.
"Who would've thought that they'd do something like this?" Kenta asked, clearly confused as to the Dark Nebula's intentions.
"I can't stand those guys! They creep me out!" Benkei said.
"What I don't get is why they would hold a tournament like this." Tyson said.
"Isn't it obvious?" Kyoya said.
"By gathering all the strongest Bladers and making them battle with Ryuga, they plan to let L-Drago absorb its opponents' power." Gingka said.
"We can't allow that to happen! It's just wrong. I'm going to talk to the WBBA right now." Madoka said.
Madoka got up from her seat and headed to the door.
"You're wasting your time. Qualifying tournaments have already started all over the country" Kyoya said, stopping Madoka in her tracks.
"And once they've been fired up, there's no stopping those Bladers." Gingka said.
"He has a point there. Trying to stop those Bladers will be like trying to carry Benkei and living to tell about it." Tyson said.
"HEY!" Benkei shouted.
"Well then, what are we going to do? If the Battle Bladers competition is allowed to go forward, then won't we be going along with their plan?" Madoka asked.
There was a silence in the room.
They each knew that by letting this tournament start, there was nothing they could do to prevent falling into the Dark Nebula's trap.
However…
"But…if I compete, he'll be there. This is my chance to defeat Ryuga. I'm signing up for Battle Bladers!" Gingka said with determination.
"Yeah, count me in too! This tournament is just the kind of challenge I've been waiting for! Plus, Takumi will probably be there too. There's no way that guy could resist showing his ugly face at this tournament. I'll get to take him down and if I have to, I'll bring down Ryuga as well! I won't stop until I make it to the top!" Tyson said
"You'll have to go through me! I'll defeat you, and then I will defeat Gingka! Remember this you two, you won't defeated by Ryuga, Takumi, or Yu. It will be me, Kyoya, who does." Kyoya said.
"I'm with you guys! I too will enter Battle Bladers." Kenta said.
"What?!" everyone shouted in shock.
"Yes. I don't know if I can win the competition. It's going to be tough, and I might not be able to even make it very far. But, I am a Blader. I want to see how far I can make it on my own. So if I have to stand on the same battlefield as you three, you'll fight me with all you got, right?" Kenta asked.
"Of course I will!" Gingka said.
"Wouldn't have it any other way." Tyson said.
"So you want me to fight at my full strength, huh? You might regret saying that." Kyoya said.
"He sure would. Kyoya's battle style is so boring that Kenta will be put to sleep and lose by default." Tyson joked.
"You should talk! Your battle style is similar to mine!" Kyoya said.
"Except my battle style is cool. Yours isn't." Tyson said.
"Why you…!" Kyoya growled.
"Guys…" Kenta said.
"Don't worry lil' buddy, if we do fight each other then you have nothing to worry about. I'll make sure your defeat is swift and painless so you won't have to worry about getting embarrassed too badly." Tyson said.
"Gee, if that's your version of a pep talk then I'm glad I'm not him." Kyoya said.
"You mind your own business, Lion Boy!" Tyson said.
"Stop calling me that!" Kyoya yelled.
Kyoya and Tyson got in each other's faces, both of them were growling.
"For a couple of Bladers with similar battle styles, they sure don't get along well" Madoka said.
Tyson wasn't surprised by this fact. After all, Daichi's beyblade was pretty darn similar to Tyson's but they didn't get along either.
Come to think of it, it seemed every Blader with a similar Bey to Tyson's didn't get along well with him.
"In any case," Gingka interrupted, "we're going to enter Battle Bladers and we're going to win it all"
"Hang on you guys. Do you understand what you're saying? It's like you're willingly walking right into their trap, do you get that?!" Madoka shouted.
"Well, we have no other choice." Gingka said.
"Yeah, we can't pass up a chance like this." Kenta said.
"He's right. By the way Ryuga was talking, he expects us to be there. He's calling us out and you're asking us to run away like cowards. I say we meet his challenge!" Tyson declared.
"Yeah, he's right. Our fighting spirit's been ignited and there's no turning back." Gingka said.
"GO BATTLE BLADERS!" Benkei shouted.
"Oh boy…" Madoka shouted.

And so, after the discussion, the gang had decided to travel independently in order to enter various tournaments and competitions.
After everything that had happened, Tyson knew that this Battle Bladers tournament was the very thing he needed.
It had been a while since his last big tournament, so he had to make sure he was ready.
Of course, the tournament was in three months.

The next day, Tyson, Gingka, and the others had packed their bags and were heading off on their journey.
When they left it was still pretty early in the morning and Madoka was still asleep.
They left early without waking her up so they wouldn't disturb her.
When she woke up, the first thing Madoka noticed was that the B-Pit was empty.
She immediately knew where the others were headed, and after slipping on her socks and shoes, she made a bee-line straight to the place where she knew they'd be.
After running for a while, she managed to catch up with them.
"Wait! Wait up! Hey, are you really leaving?" Madoka asked, even though she already knew the answer.
"Yes, and as soon as we step one foot outside of town, it will be every Blader for themselves." Gingka said.
"There's one stop first." Kyoya said.
They stopped at the old abandoned Beyblade stadium.
"Wow, this place sure holds a lot of memories, huh Benkei?" Kenta asked.
"You said it, kid" Benkei said.
They were referring to the time when they trained together at this abandoned stadium after Kenta's loss to Hikaru.
"We're going to have one last battle as friends, before we go on our separate journeys." Gingka explained.
They all nodded at Gingka's comment, before making their way to the old, abandoned stadium.
When they got there, they got ready to stand in their launching positions.
"Alright, this will be the last battle before we go on our journey. Get ready!"
"Leaving without telling your old childhood friend, Gingka?" a voice said.
They looked up and saw Hyoma in the stands.
"It's you again" Tyson said.
Gingka smiled.
"Hyoma" he said.
"And what about me?" They turned and saw Hikaru.
"Kenta, leaving without telling your friends?"
They saw Osamu, Takashi, and Akira.
"Hey guys!" Kenta said.
"Tyson" a voice said.
Tyson turned around and his eyes widened.
"Carlos?" he said.
"I'm also going to enter Battle Bladers. And I'm going to defeat you, not for revenge, but because we're rivals! So prepare yourself!" Carlos said.
"And don't forget about me crabby crab." Tetsuya said.
Tyson pointed at Tetsuya.
"Who is that guy?" Tyson asked.
"Trust me, you don't want to know" Kenta said.
"Guys, you're all here!" Gingka said.
"Of course we are. We are also going on our own journeys so it's only fitting that we'd be here. Now, are we going to do this or what?" Hyoma asked.
"Okay, let's get this party started!" Gingka said.
Each Blader took out their launcher.

The Beyblades hit the ground and started spinning. Everyone made a move to attack the other.
(Let's go Beybladers!)
Carlos' Pterodactyl immediately launched a fireball at Dragoon. Tyson didn't see the attack coming, and only Dragoon's speed allowed to avoid the attack.
(Let's rip it through the sky!)
"Go Pegasus!" Gingka said.
Pegasus charged toward Aries and smashed into it.
Leone shot forward to attack Pegasus before getting blasted with Pterodactyl's fireballs.
(Let's go Beybladers!)
"Pterodactyl! Flame thrower attack!" Carlos yelled.
"I'll put out your fire with my water! Aquario, Infinite Assault!" Hikaru said.
Pterodactyl and Aquario clashed in a collision of water and fire that surrounded the field.
(Let's rip, let's fly!)
"Even if I have to fight against Kyoya, I'm still gonna win! Bull, Red Horn Uppercut!" Benkei said.
Bull charged toward Leone with its new special move, but to Benkei's surprise Leone deflected it and Bull was knocked back.
"You'll have to do better than that! Lion Wild Wind Fang Dance!" Kyoya said.
(We will fight anyone that dares us)
Leone's tornado raged through the stadium.
"Pterodactyl, Flame Thrower!"
"Aquario, Infinite Assault!"
Hikaru and Carlos' fire and water clashed with the winds of Leone's tornado to create a violent elemental storm that knocked the Beys back.
(We'll never give up, no one can compare us)
"You're not gonna cheat this time are you Tetsuya?" Osamu asked.
"Not this time! This time I shall defeat you with my special spin track change!" Tetsuya said.
Gasher's spin track increased in height.
"Not good enough!" they said before knocking Gasher halfway across the field.
(We're the ride that's spinning you to ground)
Pegasus glowed with blue Bey-energy as it zoomed to Dragoon.
Tyson saw the attack coming and Dragoon and Pegasus collided in a head-on clash.
Pterodactyl and Leone jumped in the fray as they hit Pegasus and Dragoon respectively.
(No one can beat us if we stay together)
Leone collided with Pegasus, and Pegasus was pushed back.
"C'mon Pegasus! Don't give in!" Gingka said.
Blue energy surrounded Pegasus as it pushed Leone upwards.
"Pegasus, Meteor Shower Attack!" Gingka said.
(We'll rip! Zip! Kick!)
Leone was hurled straight into the air but Gingka wasn't finished.
Pegasus flew towards the wall and scaled it.
(Light as a feather)
It climbed up the wall and jumped off it, so it could intercept Leone's path.
"Pegasus, Star Blast Attack!" Gingka said.
Pegasus knocked Leone back to the ground.
(We will knock you crashing out of bounds.)
As if it was hit by a hammer, Leone was knocked violently to the ground.
The job was finished by Tyson, who hit Leone to the point where it stopped spinning.
"What?!" Kyoya yelled.
(Let's go Beybladers!)
"Go, go, go Sagittario!"
Sagittario attacked Osamu's Bey while Takashi's Bey and Akira's Bey clashed.
(Let's battle to the end!)
"Now Dragoon! Attack!" Tyson yelled.
"Now, Bull Attack!" Benkei yelled.
Dragoon and Bull's collision resulted in a shock wave that knocked both Beys back.
(Let's go Beybladers!)
"Dragoon, Storm Attack!"
A torrent of power roared through Dragoon as it created a fierce tornado. Bull was thrown into the air before getting tossed back down to the ground like a rag doll.
(We're the coolest of friends.)
Carlos and Hikaru were fixated on each other as their Beys tried to overpower each other.
So fixated, that they didn't notice Hyoma's Aries charge toward them until it was too late.
(Let's go Beybladers!)
Aries skillfully avoided the fire and water blasts and launched an attack of it's own.
"Aries, Horn Throw Destruction!" Hyoma yelled.
(Let's rip it through the sky!)
The three Beys collided with each other with plenty of force.
The clash was interrupted by Dragoon who smashed into the three Beys.
Then, all the Beys collided with each other.
(Let's go Beybladers!)
Bull, Sagittario, and Pegasus joined the fray. Eventually, there was a huge explosion that rocked the stadium.
Everyone's Bey had stopped spinning except for Tyson and Gingka's.
(Let's rip! Let's fly!)
Immediately, Dragoon was on the offence and showed all it's prowess as it pelted Pegasus with fast blows. Pegasus, on the other hand, wasn't strained in the slightest by Dragoon's blows.
Pegasus matched Dragoon blow for blow, and it also moved at amazing speed. Soon the Beys got so fast that the other Bladers had to strain their eyes just to keep up with them.
Eventually, Pegasus took to the air, and Dragoon scaled up the wall. The two Beys battled in the middle of the air, and took their battle high to the sky.
(We'll soar high like a comet in the sky)
Unlike Pegasus, Dragoon wasn't made for aerial battles and was soon knocked to the ground.
Pegasus began to fall to the ground as well.
Pegasus landed on Dragoon and Dragoon was knocked back.
Deeping bigger into his bag of tricks, Tyson used his duplicating technique.
(Take you on if you dare or if you try)
Soon, Dragoon moved so fast that it seemingly split into several copies of itself.
"Huh?" Gingka said.
Tyson knew that this technique wouldn't work long and if he kept it up, his beyblade would lose spin. In fact, this technique was useless except for confusing your opponent and buying yourself some time. And that's what Tyson was hoping for.
He had to think of a way to beat Pegasus. He was sure that if he had enough time to think, he would be able to come up with a decent strategy. Problem was, with all the battling earlier on, Dragoon was nearing it's end. It wouldn't be long before it stopped spinning.
But, Pegasus seemed just fine! After all the chaos earlier, it should be wobbling by now.
Oh yeah, right, he forgot. Pegasus is made of metal, which has durability, unlike plastic which wears out too easily. Another advantage metal Beyblades had.

Eventually, Dragoon slowed down. It had to or else it would lose even more spin, and that was something that Tyson couldn't afford.
Tyson decided to wing it, and see if he can take Pegasus down with brute force.
"GO DRAGOON!" Tyson said.
(We're unpredictable like stormy weather)
Dragoon collided with Pegasus, and for a while it was a test of strength. One Beyblade pushing against the other.
However, Dragoon weakened and that gave Pegasus an opening.
"Get him, Pegasus!" Gingka yelled.
(We'll rip! Zip! Kick!)
Pegasus showed Dragoon no mercy. After several hits and blasts, Pegasus gave Dragoon a brutal hit that slammed Dragoon into the wall.
Tyson saw Dragoon weaken and knew that it was only seconds away from losing spin.
There was only one thing left to do.
"Dragoon, Galaxy Storm!"
(Light as a feather!)
"Pegasus, Meteor Shower Attack!"
Soon, the entire stadium was blinded by light followed by an explosion.
(We will knock you crashing out of bounds)
When the dust settled, the observers were able to see the outcome.
Pegasus was still spinning.
Dragoon was not.

Meanwhile, Takumi was currently writing some important notes in his notebook.
The only other person in the room was his assistant. Currently, she was looking at Takumi's trans-dimensional portal.
"So, where exactly did you get a trans-dimensional portal again? I don't recall you ever owning one." she said.
Takumi shrugged.
"I made it. I make a lot of inventions" Takumi said.
"Is that so?" she said, clearly not buying his story.
"You don't believe me?" Takumi asked.
"To put it frankly, no" she responded.
Takumi glared at her before shrugging.
"What you choose to believe is your business. I couldn't care less." he responded.
"I'm just saying, I know you're one of the world's best scientists, but you have no knowledge of the quantum physics needed to build such a device. Unless you had help." she said.
Takumi narrowed his eyes.
"What are you saying?" he asked.
"He helped you, didn't he?" she said.
"DON'T EVER MENTION HIM IN MY PRESENCE!" Takumi yelled.
"Okay, no need to yell. I was just asking. Don't get so worked up." she said.
"(sigh) Sorry Hibiki. I didn't mean to get angry. It's just that I've got a lot on my plate. Such as figuring out how in the world Tyson Granger got a hold of that device. I'm sure that he's involved! But what's he up to?" Takumi wondered.
"But is this really a problem? You said it yourself, Tyson's presence is more of a blessing than a curse. Once we get his Bit Beast, the machine will be activated!" Hibiki said.
"Yeah, that's true. I'm pretty sure Tyson is going to be at Battle Bladers. I'll meet him there, and it won't be long until his Bit Beast belongs to us!" Takumi said.
"But sir, aren't you worried about Battle Bladers? If it's hosted by the Dark Nebula, then it must be a trap!" Hibiki said.
"I'm well aware of what the Dark Nebula is capable of! But the fact that they're hosting the tournament couldn't be more perfect for us!" Takumi said.
"How is it perfect?" Hibiki asked.
"You forget that Tyson is not the only dragon Blader we're after. We also plan on getting Ryuga's Bit Beast as well. Sure, Dragoon would give us most of the energy we need, but if we acquire L-Drago as well, we would be unstoppable!" Takumi said.
"Sir, I don't like this plan. I'm fine with getting Dragoon, but L-Drago is another thing. L-Drago is simply too dangerous to even attempt to capture. Don't you know what L-Drago is capable of?!" she said.
"OF COURSE I KNOW! I'm not stupid. I know how dangerous L-Drago is, but that's why I want it. I need more power so I can take over the world! That's why I want L-Drago! If anything has the power to take over the world, it's L-Drago!" Takumi said.
Takumi was reluctant to mention that his true goal was to destroy all of humanity, but he knew that his number one servant, Hibiki, would not take well to this mission.
In fact, if his entire crew knew that he was planning on wasting everyone on Earth, themselves included, then more than half of them would not have joined the Dino Dynasty in the first place.
Manipulating them was easy. All he had to do was promise them power and wealth and they would do anything he asked.
Pathetic fools.
When he revived the dinosaurs, he would be sure to get rid of them all!
The best part of his plans was Battle Bladers. Ryuga will be there without a doubt, and there's no way Tyson will resist such a challenge. He will be able to meet them both in the tournament and steal both of their Beasts.
It will be killing two birds with one stone.
But first, he had to make the necessary preparations before entering Battle Bladers.
He needed about 50,000 Bey Points, and he had some catching up to do before he could even get close to that level.
But Takumi, being Takumi, will think of a way out of this.
He always did.

To everyone's amazement, Gingka had managed to defeat Tyson.
"I…lost?" Tyson asked.
Gingka called Pegasus back to his hand.
"That was a fun battle! Defeating you took everything I had and then some! You're a really good Blader, Tyson" Gingka said.
"Thanks. I can't believe that I lost. But, it was a fun battle though. Congrats for being one of the only people who can topple the three time World Champion Beyblader." Tyson said.
"I'm honored." Gingka said.
"Now that the battle is over, we should get ready for our journeys" Hyoma said.
"Alright, guys. See you in Battle Bladers!" Kenta said.
"You might've won this time Gingka, but watch out! Nobody defeats Tyson Granger and gets away with it! When we fight in Battle Bladers, I'll knock your Beyblade so far that it'll go back in time!" Tyson said.
"I'll accept your challenge! When next we meet, it'll be in Battle Bladers!" Gingka said.

As Gingka was walking along, he was thinking about the Dark Nebula.
"Even if this is a Dark Nebula trap, I'm still doing this. We will meet there and I will defeat Ryuga! Our motto is Go Battle Bladers!" Gingka said.
Meanwhile…
Hyoma was in Koma Village very late at night talking with Hokuto, the talking dog.
Hyoma had a bewildered expression on his face.
"Hey Hokuto, I've been meaning to ask you something." he asked.
"What is it?" Hokuto said.
"Is there, by any chance, a second L-Drago?" Hyoma asked.
"Not that I know of. Why?" Hokuto asked.
Hyoma told Hokuto about Tyson, and the things he knew of him so far.
Hokuto listened with a blank expression as Hyoma told him about Tyson.
When he finished, he looked at Hokuto, who had his eyes closed and was pondering the things Hyoma had told him.
"This is indeed very interesting. And this Tyson, he is powerful?" Hokuto asked.
"Yes. He's on par with Gingka's skills." Hyoma said.
"And could you detect any sign of evil in Tyson?" Hokuto asked.
"No. He didn't seem evil and Gingka got along fine with him, even though he has a dragon Bey. That's what got me confused. Even more confusing is his Beyblade. It has a peculiar shape, and his Bey-Aura also looks weird compared to other Auras. It's so strange" Hyoma said.
"Hmm, there's nothing in the Koma Village folklore that describes a second L-Drago. However, when the creatures that we came to know as Bey-Auras came to Earth in their meteors, not all of them landed in Koma Village. It's possible that this other dragon Beast is a different kind of Aura. It could also explain why this Tyson doesn't seem to be evil"
"I see" Hyoma said.
"However, you must keep an eye on Tyson. If his Beast is as similar to L-Drago as you say, then the Dark Nebula would either want to use him as an asset, or destroy him. But be careful, if Tyson does turn out to be evil, you have to be prepared to stop him." Hokuto said

Re-Write Update: Okay, so not too much changed but I did take out a few things. Including the silly awards ceremony. It's funny, but in hindsight, I don't think it truly belongs in the story.
