Thank you so much for all the kind words – it really means a lot to me as a writer, and to Caroline as well. Although there is some angst along the way, it will only make for an even better (and more epic) ending.

He was screwed. This had to be one of the worst punishments for losing a bet, and he was about to pay big time. What exactly did he have to do in return?
Being Kurt's personal driver for the day.
That may not sound all that bad in a mind of others, but to Finn, it was torture. What guy his age, or any age for that matter, wanted to go around to practically every store in the city, acting like a chauffeur? He had lost a bet to Kurt during a game of poker the other night, and today was the day that he would pay his dues.
Putting on his winter jacket, he suited up for the day. He didn't have to check outside to see if it was cold out. January snow was still on the ground, whisking by in the wind. He shivered quickly, blowing out a breath as he rubbed his hands together. When he was ready, he grabbed his keys and exited his room, going down to the lot to get his car. Being in the city had its perks – with taxis available, having your own car wasn't necessary, but often Finn found himself needing to get out of the hustle and bustle and head out of the city. It cleared his head.
Kurt arrived short after with Santana by his side. "Ready to go shopping, Frankenteen?" Santana asked with a smirk, getting in the back of the black car. He rolled his eyes in response as Kurt got in as well. Finn went to the driver's seat, turning on the car, ready to pull out.
"Wait! Rachel's coming. She'll be down in a minute," Kurt interjected.
Finn froze, feeling his body tense again. Even with their newly renewed friendship, he always had to remind himself that they didn't hate each other. For as long as he could remember, Rachel despised him, not wanting one thing to do with him. But now, only a few months after their reunion, things had changed for the better. The only reason why he was still tense was because of what happened at New Year's.
He wasn't going to lie; he kissed her because he wanted to. A part of him felt bad, taking advantage of her (once again) like that, but she didn't seem to mind. What he told her wasn't a lie either. Rachel deserved to be kissed by someone who cared about her – not a stranger who would easily toss her aside like garbage. Finn wasn't that guy anymore. He was trying to change.
Soon enough, Rachel emerged in a long black coat, her appearance looking so effortless. He shifted in his seat, trying not to be caught staring by Kurt and Santana. Just because they were friends didn't mean that he wasn't attracted to her. She was gorgeous – who would deny that?
"Hi!" she said happily as she opened the back door. "It'll be really crowded back here. Why don't you sit up in the front?" Santana suggested a gleam in her eye. Rachel scrunched up her nose, turning her head to the front seat. Once she saw Finn, she froze, unaware that he would be driving. A few seconds of awkward silence passed by before someone cleared their throat and Rachel went to the front, sitting down in the passenger side seat.
Finn didn't say a word, just quickly smiling at her before he turned on the car.
Friends. They were just friends.
That's all they would be.
Once parked at the first store, Finn let out a sigh of relief. It was Macy's, which wasn't that bad. He was just glad it wasn't still Christmas season. Macy's was pretty busy to begin with, but around Christmastime you could barely walk.
He could find something in there to amuse himself. After all, it did have some guy's clothes there.
"Rachel Berry makeover.. step 1" Kurt said as he tugged Rachel towards the front door.
"Excuse me?" she said, appalled. "My style is perfectly fine!"
Finn stifled a laugh behind her, seeing her knee-high stockings. She turned back to glare at him, and quickly he wiped the grin off his face. Just because they were friends again didn't mean she wouldn't yell at him.
Santana threw her purse at Finn, hitting him in the chest. He stopped in his tracks as they continued walking, a little shocked. "What the hell, Santana!" he said in frustration. She ignored him, her ponytail swishing back and forth as she walked. He huffed, following behind them.
This was already hell. He'd never play another game with brother ever again.
"What about this?"
Kurt held out a slim blue dress in front of Rachel, hoping for a good reaction. She turned to him, her eyes wandering over the fabric. For a few seconds, she pondered it, reaching out to feel it.
"I don't know.. it's not really me," Rachel told him.
Kurt groaned, rolling his eyes. "That's the purpose of this! It's to find the new you! Don't you think this is a great New Year's resolution?"
"What? Change my wardrobe into something mature and sexy?" she said with distaste in her mouth.
He paused, seeing her point. She wasn't one to wear such a tight dress, or tight anything for that matter. For the most part, her wardrobe consisted of pleated skirts, preppy dresses, or the occasional skinny jeans.
"Just try it on. Who knows? Maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised."
She sighed, defeated. Taking the dress from his hands, she went off towards the dressing room, leaving Kurt with a smile on his lips. Nearby, Santana was doing her own shopping as well, handing several hangers to Finn. At this point in the trip, he was holding so many outfits that his body was covered. A store worker suggested that he'd get a cart, but Santana refused. She liked to see him in pain, for all the things that he had done to Rachel in the past.
A few minutes later, Rachel emerged from the curtains. The dress was perfect for her body. It hugged her curves, and accentuated her legs, which appeared long and lean. She smiled, biting her lip as she felt something very unfamiliar. She felt sexy. Normally, such a feeling would make her feel uncomfortable and self-conscious, but now she felt invincible. For a few seconds, neither Kurt nor Rachel said anything, but he could already predict her opinion.
"I hate to say I told you so," he murmured softly, tilting his head back and forth slowly, almost afraid that she would hit him. But instead, she laughed softly, nodding.
"Okay, okay, you get by this one time. I really love it."
"So is this one a yes?"
"Definitely," she replied, a new string of confidence within her.
The ice was broken, and the shopping continued.
Arriving at another store, Finn could feel his arms sagging against the wheel. It had been what felt like four hours. Actually, it was four hours, because he spent almost every second watching the clock, or looking at Rachel.
He parked on the side of the busy street, blowing out a breath of relief once they finally got out of the busy city traffic.
"Where to?" he asked in curiosity.
"Just wait and see," Santana said with a smirk. Kurt laughed along with her, but for some reason, Rachel looked a bit uncomfortable. What could it possibly be?
Once he got out of the car, he found the answer to his own question.
Victoria's Secret.
He groaned, not sure how he should feel about it. For one, it was a women's underwear store, filled with bras and panties, and while he was a big fan of those, he wasn't sure about how he felt about going in there with his friends. But in reality, he didn't have a choice.
Going inside, his eyes looked around at the bright pink colors surrounding him, a little taken back. Store models walked around, holding perfume samples for the customers to try. Once or twice Kurt stopped to sample a few, making him smell like flowers. Finn shook his head, continuing on.
"Finn! You're coming with us!" Santana called as she took Rachel's hand and lead her towards another part of the store.
Rachel looked ahead, and tried to halt as she saw what section lay ahead. "Are you serious?! We can't bring him over there!" she said in a panic, her face growing red in embarrassment. Santana ignored his comment and continued, with Finn close behind.
Once they got to the lingerie section, Santana faced Finn. By now, his entire face was red, and he was frozen.
"Now your job is to pick out some outfits for us. What do you find physically appealing?"
"What the hell? Can't you just like.. pick it out yourself?" he stammered, a little frustrated.
"While I find you as a complete asshole and a waste on this planet," she started, to which Rachel slapped her, "I can't deny that you are attractive and without prior knowledge, can assume that you've had experience with women – need I explain? So, I have some use for you today."
Pushing Rachel out in front of her, she then crossed her arms.
"Pick one out for Rachel. Now," she commanded.
The tiny brunette looked horrified. "When I am ever going to wear lingerie?" she asked. Santana rolled her eyes. "I don't know, maybe with your makeover you'll finally have enough sex appeal to, hm, I don't know, land a boyfriend."
But Finn didn't want to think about that.
"But-" she stammered.
"Now!"
He first sighed, but then looked at Rachel. The look in her eyes was confusing. It was so innocent, and almost watery like she was about to cry. But at the same time, there was a longing, like she wanted him to do what Santana had asked of him.
But who was he kidding? There was no way.
Looking at her for a few more seconds, he pulled away his gaze and found a red set, pulling it off quickly and handing it to her.
"Really? You pictured Berry in red?" Santana asked with a smirk.
"I… wait, I never said that I-"
"Just go over there before you blow up in your pants, Hudson," she continued as she looked through the hangers.
He swallowed hard as Rachel looked around, touching the lingerie in her hands.
"Um.. I'm gonna go try it on," she said, rushing off to the rooms.
Once she was gone, he let out a sigh of relief.
"You know, you're making this harder than it needs to be," Santana said as she approached him, her eyes still on the racks.
"You make it sound like it's so easy. The last time I saw her in like.. her underwear and stuff was the same night that I ripped her heart into shreds. Don't you think this will give her flashbacks?" Finn ran a hand through his hair, his hands pushing the hangers through quickly and hard, just playing with the plastic to take his mind off of things.
"It's not a hard task, Frankenteen. I just asked you to pick something out for her. Not to eye-fuck her in the middle of the store."
Just as he was about to defend himself, Kurt appeared with a few things in his bag.
"So, where's our star?" he asked with a smile on his face.
"She's um… trying stuff on," Finn replied just before Santana threw some outfits towards him. He caught them quickly, grabbing the bag from Kurt's hands and stuffing them inside. Yeah, he liked girl's underwear, but he didn't want to be seen walking around with them in his hands.
"I like it," a soft voice said from behind them. Rachel put her set in the bag as well, her face emotionless.
Santana raised a brow, surprised but pleased. "Then I guess he did his job right," she said as she went off to find more for herself.
Once the day was over, Finn drove them back to the college, he helped carry the bags to Rachel and Santana's room. Kurt had brought his as well, but was starting to make his way down the hall to drop them off. Santana, too, went to help him, leaving Rachel and Finn alone in the dorm.
It was silent, for the most part. The only remaining sound was the crinkling of bags. Finn took clothes out of bags, setting them on her bed, trying his best not to look at her, for fear of being caught staring.
She stopped, watching him as he carefully folded the clothes. For a second, she smiled, but then it faded away. She had something to say.
"Finn" she started. He perked up, his head turning around towards her. "Yeah? What's up?" She didn't reply at first, so he got ahead of her. "About today at Victoria's-"
"We have to keep our boundaries, Finn. Though what happened today wasn't necessarily your fault… you can't look at me that way. You can't look at me like you want to be more than friends."
He remained silent, his eyes sympathetic.
"I'm going to return the lingerie tomorrow when Santana doesn't know. It's better that way."
"What? Why? I thought you said you liked it," he replied, confused.
"You know why I can't keep it," she said, going through the bags.
"Not really, so why don't you tell me."
"Because the way you looked at me in that moment, it reminded me of that party senior night, and how much I wanted you. Okay? I just can't feel like that ever again. I vowed to myself that I would never do that again."
Finn stood, running a hand through his hair. He was right before. She didn't want him to pick it out. The look of longing in her face? It was her longing to run the hell out of that store and away from him.
"Rach, I'm sorry."
"And who is Santana kidding? It doesn't matter if I have enough sex appeal, I'll never get a guy, more or less one that would respect me enough to know my morals."
"I mean, was your first guy like that?" he asked, mentally slapping himself after asking.
"My first guy?" she asked.
"Yeah, you know, the first guy you… slept with," he got out as quickly as his mouth would allow.
Rachel stood frozen, shaking her head. "No." Finn closed his eyes, wanting to tear the guy apart. "Because there is no first guy. I'm still a virgin."
Finn was astonished. Okay, so he didn't expect Rachel to sleep with tons of guys, but she was a very attractive young woman. It really surprised him.
"You've never.." he said, drifting off.
"No, I haven't, so you can stop laughing at me," she said, her eyes starting to water.
"Woah, woah, woah, I'm not laughing at you," he said in defense.
She threw the bag on the ground, sitting down on the floor. From what Finn could see, her cheeks were already wet. He quickly went down to her, hugging her.
"It's perfectly fine to want to wait. To be completely honest… I wish that I did. You have an amazing shot, you know that? You have a piece of you that no one else has yet. And when you find that person… they're gonna love you more than anything."
He bit his lip, feeling like he was gonna cry, because he wanted to be that guy for her.
"And I swear to God, if he breaks your heart, I'm gonna rip him apart," he added, gritting his teeth. Rachel then pulled away slightly to look at him.
"Does everyone really deserve their happy ending?" she asked. It reminded him of the way she looked when she was younger – small and innocent.
"Yeah, and you do, more than anything."
She forced a smile, and without much thought, she hugged him back.
"You're going to find your person too, you know," she said, her heart pumping out of her chest.
After a few seconds, he replied. "I hope so… I hope so."
Funny and angsty all in one chapter! This was a filler, but I loved writing this one! And I know a few people didn't like the idea of her being a virgin and him not being a virgin, but it makes sense with their backgrounds and experiences. Stay tuned for what happens next!
