Chapter Ten:
Candace couldn't help but watch her brothers as they slept. Phineas had always been such an optimistic, carefree boy and Ferb was his perfect match. She knew those two could do the impossible. However, seeing them right now, locked away in a cell because she knew if they woke up, they'd try to kill her and everyone else in the building. It was just all too surreal.
The teen was still shaken from seeing people get murdered right outside their door. She knew if it wasn't for Doofenshmirtz Invisibleinator- which Norm was smart enough to bring with them and Doof deployed only minutes after they'd landed- they'd surely be dead. After all, they were public enemy number one now that Jess was in charge.
While they may be hidden now, they certainly weren't safe forever. That's why Candace hoped Doofenshmirtz Turn-Everything-Good-Inator would work. Otherwise, the entire world was doomed.
Candace sighed and turned around to head back upstairs. Everyone was gathered in one room, watching Doofenshmirtz work on the machine. Candace walked over to where Stacy, Jeremy and Coltrane were located. Jeremy smiled at his girlfriend when she came to stand by his side. "The boys still out?" He asked her.
Candace nodded. "I honestly hope they stay asleep until Doof is done. I don't think I could handle having them awake, imprisoned, and threatening us. Just having them asleep in that cell is a little much." She replied with a sad, faraway look in her eyes.
"I understand. My parents and sister are still in that place with her. But I just know that with Doof is going to turn your brothers good once more. And then the three of them will come up with a plan to bring Jessica down." Jeremy tried to assure her.
"It's weird, Doofenshmirtz said that Jessica was different when she first came to this dimension. I wonder what could have caused to her become like this. She's just pure evil." Candace mused.
Suddenly, the four teenagers exchanged wide eyed looks, all coming to the same conclusion. They ran towards Doofenshmirtz, yelling his name. He turned to face them and frowned. "What? What is it? Is something wrong?" He asked.
"Doof, you said that when Jess first arrived, she was pretty normal right? Like she was happy and stuff?" Candace asked.
Doofenshmirtz nodded. "Yeah she was. We became really good friends in the four months we made plans. I thought that perhaps we could even be more than friends. And then a couple days ago, she just went completely insane."
"So you think she definitely shared your feelings for her?"
"I like to believe so. Why?"
"What if Jessica used the Turn-Everything-Evil-Inator on herself? If she had feelings for you, she'd want to do everything in her power to make you happy. Especially since she's watched you fail time and time again. She'd want to make sure you win, at least once in your life. Even if it meant sacrificing a part of herself." Candace explained.
Doofenshmirtz eyes widened. Was it possible? Did Jessica really make herself evil in order to make him happy? Did she really love him that much? "But why would she do that? I'm not worth losing who she is?" He frowned in defeat.
"You obviously don't know much about women. We would do anything for the ones we love. I know I would change who I was in order to make Jeremy happy." Candace said, smiling fondly at her boyfriend. "Perhaps that's what she did."
Doof still couldn't believe that someone would do something like that for him. However, it did make sense. When Jess came here, she was probably the happiest, funniest, sweetest girl he'd ever met. He just couldn't see her as evil. That had to be why she became what she was.
"Well that's good right? If we could simply turn Jessica back to her good self, we could resolve this entire thing!" Doof smiled, a plan already forming in his mind.
"It would solve a good deal of our problem. She's still going to be in a lot of trouble. So many people have died." Candace sighed. Doofenshmirtz smile fell when he realized how right she was. However he shook his head. "Well, we'll cross that bridge when we get there. For now, let's save the world, starting with your two brothers." Doof said, clapping his hands together and then getting back to work.

"People of the world! It's been nearly a week since I took over and haven't they been? I've certainly enjoyed every second of it!" Jess laughed. "Now you're all probably wondering why I'm making an announcement right. Well, I have a couple people here who have tried to stop evil before in the past. They have failed this time, quite horribly in fact.
I would like to introduce you to Major Francis Monogram and Perry the Platypus! These two were probably the only hope you had have winning this war against me! But I captured them before I even took over. And with this machine right here, I plan to turn them over to the dark side! With them fighting with me instead of against, you have absolutely no chance whatsoever of winning! So say goodbye to your hope people of the world! And know that I have won. I am your Queen."
Major Monogram and Perry stood side by side, held tightly by Jessica's robot warriors. A camera was pointed at them as well as the Turn-Everything-Evil-Inator. Both of them knew there was absolutely no chance of escape.
Jessica smirked triumphantly as she pointed the machine and them and fired. He two merely flinched slightly and then fell unconscious. The robots then took them away.
"Ah, but I'm not quite finished, my subjects! I would like to address two very important people to me. They betrayed me and now I plan to get my revenge. Doctor Heinz Doofenshmirtz and Vanessa Doofenshmirtz, you remember this woman right here right? This is Charlene Doofenshmirtz, his ex-wife and her mother. I warned you, if you went against me, they would die. I'll be coming after you and Vanessa soon enough. Until then, say goodbye to Charlene Doofenshmirtz."
A robot brought on the now conscious Charlene and Jess pointed the ray gun built by Phineas and Ferb at her. She screamed and struggled to get away, but the robots hold was relentless. A single shot was fired, hitting Charlene in the head. There was a slight splatter of blood where the shot hit and then she moved no more.
Jess turned to smile at the camera once more. This is what happens when you betray me. I am not a forgiving person. If anyone sees if of the public enemies, be sure to turn them in right away! If I find out your working with them, then this will be the consequence! Have a nice night!"

Heinz closed his eyes and turned off the TV, a single tear falling from the corner of his eyes. He thanked the good Lord above that Vanessa was asleep and hadn't seen the murder of her mother. He didn't know how he was going to tell her this.
The other occupants of the room were shell-shocked. They knew Jessica was capable of murder, but to do so on the television like that. It was barbaric, disgusting, and indisputable evil.
"I almost don't want her to have been hit by the Turn-Everything-Evil-Inator…" Candace trailed off, her voice thick from the barely suppressed tears. Heinz rubbed the back of his neck. He couldn't believe his machine was made her like this.
"Why do you say that?" Stacy asked, giving her friend a comforting one armed hug. Candace wiped a stray tear and sighed. "If she's able to do this while under the influence of that machine, imagine what Phineas and Ferb are capable of? Or even my parents? What if they murder someone? What did we do to deserve this?" She spat.
While she didn't direct this to Doofenshmirtz, he knew it was meant for him. He couldn't help but wonder this himself. What made him want to join the side of evil? Was causing innocent people this much pain really worth it? What about his beautiful little girl who, because of him, was now motherless. Could Heinz take care of her all by himself? He could barely take care of himself, let alone another life. She was only with him every other weekend, how she was his full time.
That is, if they survived all of this.
All of them knew there was a possibility that they would not be successful. And something told each of them that if Jessica caught them, she wouldn't hesitate to kill them all. They were the only hope for planet Earth.
"We will fix this. I might not be able to bring everyone back to life, but I can turn everyone good once more. The machine is nearly complete. We will stop this nightmare. We just need to stay calm and positive. I really am sorry for all this trouble." Heinz whimpered. His heart ached from his loss. Though he and Charlene were no longer close, she had still meant a great deal to him.
Candace looked up at the Drusselsteinian. She could feel the guilt rolling off of him. He was looking at her, begging her to forgive him with his eyes. The teen sigh and gave a slight nod, indicating that she did. A relieved smile temporarily crossed his face before he got up and left the room to finish the new –Inator.
Alright another short chapter. However this just seemed like a great place to stop this! I like this chapter though. You get to see just how insane Jess has gotten! Aren't you glad I'm not evil because Jess is me! Lol, or maybe I am evil! You don't know because you can't see me!
I just got finished writing the final battle scene and I'm so excited to publish it! That, of course, is still five chapters away. It looks like this story will be sixteen chapters long. I like this story though. It's fun to write!
Anyway, this chapter was finished 7/14/15.
