Chapter 10: Offer
Myotismon faced the girls in the castle and they were all nervous that he has returned and came out of nowhere. He kept his eyes on Gatomon, even though there were two he knew which was which.
"Mommy I'm scared." Tobi said clinging to Older Sora's leg.
"Kari who is that?" Yolei said.
"That's right you only saw him in one form. He's Myotismon or you know him as Malomyotismon." Kari said.
"What!? That's the Myotismon you've told us about. I thought he was destroyed." Yolei said.
"How is it you're alive?" Gatomon said.
"Let's just say I made a new friend and he's very interested in your friends." Myotismon said.
"What do you want?" Gatomon said.
"There are two of us now so don't even think you have a chance to fight us."
"Yes I know you two little kittens, I'm not blind. I also know that one of you as well as all the others are from the past." Myotismon said.
"Yolei get ready to fight." Hawkmon said.
"Be careful, he's dangerous." Older Kari said and both Kari and Yolei reached for their D3s, but Myotismon held up his hand.
"There's no need for any of that. I didn't come here to fight." Myotismon said.
"Then why are you here?" Gatomon said.
"I have come for you Gatomon and I mean the one from the past. I've come to take you back like old times." Myotismon said. That just had hit the wall in anger.
"Do you really think I would go anywhere with you?" Gatomon said scowling at him.
"Take back like old times?" Hawkmon said.
"What does he mean by that?" Yolei said.
"You see Gatomon use to work for Myostimon. She was one of his servants." Biyomon said and that brought a look of shock to them.
"Gatomon use to work for him?" Koji said.
"Gatomon it will be like old times. Just think back to all the good times we had together." Myotismon said.
"There are no good times we have." Gatomon said. She removed her glove to show her scar. "You remember this scar you gave me? You gave it to me when we met and I swore my loyalty to you."
"Yes and years later I find out you were a traitor when you found your partner and joined the digidestine." Myotismon said.
"Yeah now get out of here before I give you a scar covering your entire body." Gatomon said.
"Maybe I can make you an offer that will have you come back." Myotismon said.
"There is nothing you could possibly give me that I could want that will make me come back." Gatomon said.
"Gatomon…I'm offering to bring Wizardmon back to life." Myotismon said and that surprised them all.
"Wizardmon? You mean that ghost we met a long time ago?" Yolei said thinking back to when she met Wizardmon as a ghost in the T.V. station.
"Yeah that's the one." Older Kari said.
"Haven't you always wanted him to come back? It's been years and he has yet to return." Myotismon said. "The force that brought me back can bring him back. I believe you might know him as Joomoe."
"Joomoe!?" Kari and Yolei said.
"Yes, he's been watching you. He brought me and one other back and he can do the same for Wizardmon." Myotismon said.
"If this Joomoe can bring Myotismon back to life he must be very powerful." Older Kari said. Gatomon just stood there with her eyes widen. She could actually see Wizardmon again, but is it worth it to betray her friends.
"I can see this is something you need to think about and I'm in a good mood today. I'll give you 24 hours to make up your mind." Myotismon said as he began to fly away. "When you've made up your mind meet me back here and I'll be waiting. Think about it Gatomon, this could be your one and only chance to see Wizardmon again." After saying that he flew away.
"Come on Gatomon. Let's get out of here and get the others." Kari said as she grabbed her and they all ran off.

The Motomiyas
Later at night, after returning from the festival, everyone went home. Right now with Koji and Musuko in bed Davis was just told what happened with Gatomon and Myotismon.
"The creep was Myotismon?" Davis said.
"Yeah he was after Gatomon. He wants her to join him again." Kari said.
"Gatomon you're not really going to join him are you?" Veemon said.
"Of course not, but then again…." Gatomon stuttered. She wasn't quite sure herself. She never wanted anything to do with Myotismon again, but this could be her only chance to see Wizardmon again.
"What's there to think about? No way you're joining up with him." Davis said.
"It's not that easy. I need some air." Gatomon said as she went up stairs to the balcony.
"What's going on with her?" Davis said.
"Myotismon offered to bring Wizardmon back to life, those two were best friends." Older Kari said.
"That's right. Wizardmon even joined Myotismon for Gatomon." Older Davis said.
"Hey Older Gatomon how close were you to Wizardmon?" Veemon said.
"Very. Wizardmon was on his last leg until I saved him. That's how I met him." Gatomon said. "He willingly served Myotismon just to help me and when I found out Kari was my partner he betrayed him. Sadly it cost him his life. He sacrificed himself to save me and Kari. He even said his life would have no meaning if he never met me." Davis listened to the whole thing, but felt he had to do something. Past Gatomon went up to the balcony staring out into the ocean thinking about Myotismon's offer.
"Hey Gatomon." She turned around and saw that Davis was right there.
"Oh Davis. What do you want?" Gatomon said.
"Look I get you want to see Wizardmon again, but this is the wrong way." Davis said.
"Davis you don't understand." Gatomon said.
"No I understand. I understand you want to see your friend again, but do you really think this Wizardmon would want this." Davis said. "He wouldn't want you to give yourself up just for him." Gatomon got angry and jumped up and pounded him leaving a scratch on his face.
"Don't go saying what Wizardmon would know. You don't know anything about him." Gatomon said. "You really got to learn to watch what you say." She went back inside and saw Kari with a look of concern on her.
"Gatomon are you going to be okay?" Kari said.
"Kari listen…." Gatomon said.

The Next Day
Davis and Veemon were running through the city to get the others. When he woke up Kari and Gatomon were gone.
"No she wouldn't." Davis said as he kept running.

Flashback
Earlier at the beach house Veemon was shaking Davis to get him to wake up.
"Davis come on wake up." Veemon said and he managed to get him up.
"What is it?" Davis said.
"It's Gatomon I think she's gone." Veemon said.
"What!?" Davis said as he bolted right up. He looked around and saw Kari wasn't there either. "Gatomon must have went to Myotismon. Did Kari go to stop her?"
End Of Flashback
…
"Hey come on open up." Davis said banging on an apartment door and Older Ross opened it.
"Davis? Didn't think you would be up this early?" Older Ross said.
"Listen this is an emergency." Davis said. Gatomon made it to Kyoto and went back to the castle to meet up with Myotimon and gave him her answer. Right now he was coming up behind her.
"It seems you've made up your mind." Myotismon said. Davis got all the others and every single one was riding on their digimon and moving as fast as they could to Kyoto.
"I can't believe Myotismon has returned." Mimi said.
"I can't believe Gatomon is thinking about joining him." Cody said.
"She's doing it to see Wizardmon." Davis said.
"We don't know for sure if that's what's going on." T.K. said.
"Either way we need to hurry." Davis said as they were all moving as fast as they could. Back at Kyoto Myotismon and Gatomon were walking up to each other.
"So are you ready to go? Joomoe is waiting and as promised Wizardmon will be waiting." Myotismon said. Gatomon was having a serious look on her face. "Let's get going." A bright flash emitted from within, but Myotismon jumped back. "I hope you have a good explanation, Angewomon." Kari came out of hiding holding her D3 out and Gatomon became Angewomon and seemed ready to fight.
