Bella's POV

I look at everyone sitting at the table. Then to Emily. I can't just bury the Cullens till I am ready to deal with them. That would be too selfish. Besides, this is a different problem I brought on to them. I could deal with this problem. This problem I can handle.

"Sam. What do you know about vampires?" I calmly ask. I clasp my hands on top of the table. I lean to look straight at Sam. I'm going to have to see each one of them phase. I don't think I can keep coming back to all this without seeing their wolves. Everyone seems stunned at the turn this is taking. I can see how no one would suspect I'd know such a creature like Victoria. I also suspect if Jake has been talking about me at all my initiative attitude is something new.

"Bella, that's what we want to know about you. You still haven't answered Paul's question." Sam presses.

"I will get to that but before I tell my story, I want to know what you know to get thru it faster. I won't have to repeat unnecessary information you guys already know." I respond.

"What? Jake hasn't told you everything by now? That's a surprise." Paul growls out. I turn to him.

"I was saving the maniacal vampire talk for today. I thought it would be a nice way to get to know each other. Don't you think it's working? I can tell you're restlessly waiting to know more about me." I remark. He growls inhumanly. His body goes tense, like it's locked in place. Really Bella? Jake warned you about their moods. Now you want to fuck with the meanest of them all? I hold my breath.

"Paul? Do you need to go for a run?" Sam asks straight away. Paul ceased his growling. I let my breath out slowly. Paul shakes his head. Without looking away from me he answers Sam.

"No, I'm alright." He leans back on his chair. Everyone relaxes slightly. "I want to get to know her better. I want to know if leach-lover actually has any useful information."

"Paul! That's enough!" Jake yells. I look to him and slide my hand to his so I can calm him down but stop an inch before I reach him. I ball my hand into a fist. Angry at my weakness.

"It's alright Jake. That was my mistake. One I'm trying to correct." I say to a very surprised Jake. I turn to Paul.

"You're an asshole." He huffs out a breath. I turn to Sam and speak before he can reply.

"Alright list the things you know, please. I want to get through this fast as possible." I say. His stern face leaves Paul's direction and turns to me.

"What we've been able to gather is their strength and speed that we can outmatched. Their hearing is also enhanced. We've never seen them during sunny days. They live of blood human or not. Depending which determines the color of their eyes. They also seem to not age as the myths say. Their skin is hard like marble but our teeth and claws are stronger. The body may be hard but it burns just fine. It is how we get rid of the remains after taking them apart." He reports. No bullshit. No holding back.

I ask a few more details about the vampire that's been around to make sure it's the same one. They tell me she has changed clothe since the first time they saw her. Darker clothing that blends better to the trees. We confirm its the same one.

"She is after me." Everyone is without a doubt shocked.

"Bella! How cou-" I glance at Jake. Not knowing what to say. This isn't exactly the normal thing that you can tell your best friend.

"Not now Jacob." Sam cuts him off. "Bella, continue." I turn to Sam again. Putting my hands back together.

"Victoria wants to kill me because Edward killed her mate to protect me." Well my blood that is. " I think I know why you've been unable to catch her." The gritty details have no purpose here. "Some vampires have special abilities. The Cullen's, such as have a few gifted vampires among them. Edward can read peoples minds. Alice can tell the future depending on decisions made. Jasper can feel and influence emotions. Victoria, may have the power of evasion. What I suggest you do is lure her in to a trap on your territory with absolutely no escape route not even the slimmest chance for her to run. Her power will not work and without it she wont have a choice but to fight her way through." I stop there before I start to ramble on. Gifted vampires are quite a piece to swallow. The guys are all shifty. Sam stays more in control with hardening eyes.

"You're telling me that anytime Edward was around us he was in all our minds? Alice could see this coming? Jasper could have messed with our emotions?" Sam asks. Looks like the other are letting us talk. Not even Paul is growling.

"Yes, Edward was. He can't turn off his power and it only works within his range of power. I don't know how far away he has to be exactly for him to not read you but I know the Rez was far away enough. Alice's visions don't work if any of the wolves lives are involved. Your are a blind spot in her visions. Jasper has never manipulated your emotions your anger towards them was your own."

"Thank you Bella for talking to us. I like your plan but letting her further into the land is dangerous. We don't have bait that would keep her on track. The chance of her taking off in another direction is too high." Almost everyone murmurs their agreement.

"Yeah we do. We've got the perfect bait, Sam" Paul adds. He looks from Sam to me. Raising his eyebrow in a challenge. I stare back at him contemplating.

"No way!" Jake stands so fast he tips his chair over. "I wont let her do that!" My eyes go cold from hearing that. I look to him. "She's not doing it!" He keeps yelling at Paul and Sam. I stand up.

"Jake, that's not your decision to make."

"I won't put you in that kid of danger!"

"You don't have a say in this. I brought her here. I will do everything I can to help defeat her. Including being bait. You don't let me do anything. I'm the only one who gets to decide what I do with my life. No one else." I stress.

"If you won't think about yourself then think about Charlie! What will happen to him if you die?" He pleads.

"If I don't do this he Will be dead. Victoria's mate was a notorious tracker I'm sure she picked up a trick or two. If she can't get to me she will go for Charlie to lure me out. You know as well as I do that Charlie will not leave his job for long without a good reason. We can't give him that. I will not be the one to bring an innocent into this word especially those close to me!" My days are already numbered.

He storms out shaking and takes of running into the woods. I watch him go till he disappears into the woods. I turn to look at Sam.

"If we are going to work together I'm going to need to see each of your wolves so that I can recognize you"

"Bella." Sam says as he stands up. "I'm still not sure about using you as bait. I'm going to have to give it some thought." The others stand as well and I take two steps back. "I would like it if you could work with us. You are right about needing to meet our wolves. Why don't we step out back and we'll reintroduce ourselves. After that we'll start the barbeque. I'm sure Jake will be back once he calms down. We'll talk about what to do another day. Once I have talked to the elders." He gestures with his hand so I could go first out the door.

I happily take the lead and may have moved a little faster than necessary. As I walk passed the door I hear Emily saying she'll bring out the food in a bit. Once we get out side everyone's a bit scattered. Some of them are sitting on the picnics table others are standing around in a semi-circle. I;m standing in the middle a good distance away. I take a deep breath to prepare myself.

"Alright! Bella I'll go first!" Quil cheers with a grin on his face that helps me relax. He sprints to the woods and I wait.
