Chapter Nine: Audience With The Queen and King

The girls obliged and followed Luna through the castle. Cerce walked with Artemis a few feet behind to discuss any strategy they could come up with for when a threat is detected. Luna stopped at two giant doors.

"You girls wait outside and wait until Artemis brings you in." She instructed.

"Your majesties, we have guests." Luna said as she approached the king and queen on their thrones. Diana was on Neo Queen Serenity's lap.

"Oh, and who might they be?" Neo Queen Serenity asked looking up.

"Sailor Scouts from some far away constellations." Luna answered and looked at the door. "And another Mautian, Cerce."

"That's our cue." Artemis stated. "Follow me."

The girls and Cerce followed Artemis into the throne room. Once they were in front of the king and queen, they knelt down to bow.

"Your highnesses." They all said in unison.

"Ladies, you may stand." Neo Queen Serenity stated as she stood up still holding Diana. King Endymion stood up as well.

"You can put me down now, your majesty." Diana said sheepishly. Neo Queen Serenity obliged and put her down on her throne.

"What brings you ladies all the way here?" King Endymion asked curiously.

Aldebaran looked at Neo Queen Serenity.

"I am not quite sure what to call it. A dream prophecy maybe?" Aldebaran replied. "My past self came to me in a dream and told me to gather my Senshi and to come here and help you and Sailor Mini Moon because there was a great evil coming."

"Well, if that is the case, we welcome you to Crystal Tokyo." Neo Queen Serenity responded as her sailor scouts came in. "Ah, Mars, Mercury, Venus and Jupiter, we have guests."

"My queen." they said quickly after bowing.

"We did not get their names, now that I think of it." King Endymion said sheepishly.

The five girls smiled and then introduced themselves.

"Ah, the brightest stars of some very well known constellations." Mercury responded.

"That is correct." Cerce stated.

"Which ones, Mercury?" Mars joked, knowing Mercury was the bookworm.

"Polaris is in Ursa Minor, Aldebaran in the Taurus constellation, Omicron in Andromeda, Capella in Auriga, and Rigel is in Orion." Mercury shot back quickly. "No challenge there." All of the girls laughed.

"You should know better, Mars, than to challenge Mercury."

"Yes, I know, King Endymion." Mars admitted.

"I know you ladies have been traveling a long time, so I trust each of my ladies will show you to your rooms. We have plenty here to share, so you can each get one. Luna and Artemis, please show Cerce around the castle. Diana, please find our daughter and have her come here. Sailor Aldebaran, please stay behind. I would like to talk with you."

"Yes, my lady." the little gray cat replied and then bowed before leaving.

Everyone obliged to his or her orders and Diana quickly found Usagi with her scouts.

"Small Lady, Neo Queen Serenity would like you in the throne room. We have guests."

"Okay, Diana. I'll be right there."

She made her way into the throne room.

"Your highnesses." She said greeting her parents.

"Hello Usagi. We would like for you to meet Sailor Aldebaran." King Endymion stated.

"Pleasure." she said looking confused.

"Yes, we know you already have your own scouts, but this was a surprise to us as well. She is here with her scouts to help you when the time comes, which may be soon."

"We're being threatened?" She asked her mom worried.

"Not yet, Small Lady."

"But soon, I fear." Aldebaran stated. "A vision I had said I should get here quickly."

"Oh, okay then."

"I hope you and your scouts have been training."

"We have father. We can train more often, if you think it would do us good."

"Training will always help. Maybe Aldebaran and the girls can train with you too. I don't know how much battling you have done though."

"Not much. I, personally, have twice so far and Omicron has once. Polaris, Rigel and Capella have yet to test themselves."

"Okay, practice it is then. Tonight just relax and enjoy. Tomorrow we will start early to see what you call can do."

"Thank you, your majesty."

"Small Lady, please show Aldebaran to her guest room."

"Yes, mother." she answered and then bowed, as did Aldebaran. "Follow me please, Aldebaran."

"You can call me Corinna."

Princess Usagi smiled.

"So what kind of attacks do you know that you and your scouts do?"

"Oh, um," Aldebaran started to stutter, "Laser blast and double laser blasts as far as I know for myself and Omicron. I don't remember other moves, besides calling upon out star powers for help."

"Hmm, maybe we can unlock something. Luna or Artemis, maybe even Cerce, might know how." Princess Usagi stated. "Your scouts are staying in the rooms in this hall. We could arrange it if you'd prefer to share."

"Don't worry about it just yet."

"Okay, Alde- oops, sorry. Corinna. I will leave you to rest before we have dinner."

Princess Usagi left Aldebaran alone and went to her room to meet up with her scouts. Aldebaran went into the room and explored, finding out where everything was, not like she really needed it.

"Wow. This place is huge!" she exclaimed as she fell onto the bed. I hope Kasan and everyone is okay still. I don't think I could forgive myself if anything happened to them. This whole thing is strange. There was a knock on the door that interrupted her thoughts. "Come in."

"Sailor Aldebaran." Another Senshi wearing white knee high boots and a red and white uniform greeted her. "Forgive me. I am Sailor Vesta, one of Sailor Chibi Moon's Senshi."

"Pleasure."

"Am I to assume you are also a princess? And that your Senshi are also?"

"All but one." Aldebaran answered. "You can just call me Aldebaran or Corinna. I do not mind. I'd rather forget the formalities and just be friends."

"We would like that too."

"Oh, I'm sorry. You may sit if you wish." Aldebaran offered.

"Thanks, but I am okay." She said shyly as she stood with her hands clasped behind her back, wobbling her right foot and looking to the floor.

"For some reason, I do not think you are the quiet one." Aldebaran observed while approaching Vesta.

"I..uh.." She stammered. "I'm actually scared." She admitted and then letting out a sigh. "The girls and I were captured by the Black Moon Circus a while ago. We were the Amazon Quartet, and we did bad things to Sailor Moon and her Senshi under their spell. We were saved and given back our original memories and put to sleep so that we would reawaken when the princess needed us."

"I read something about that. The history of the Silver Millennium and Sailor Moon made all the way out to our space, but why are you telling me this?"

"Is the evil coming that bad?" Vesta blurted out.

"I know nothing about it. All I know is a vision I had while sleeping told me I needed to come here and help you girls with my Senshi."

"I hope we can defeat it."

Aldebaran sensed her insecurity. She knew the story of the reawakening and when they helped Sailor Moon with Cosmos for that one brief moment. Now that they have been called back, it is a lot to take in. Aldebaran directed her to sit down at the little table and chair set that was in the room.

"We'll get through this." Aldebaran stated. "You know how Sailor Moon had her Senshi, and the Outer Senshi?"

"Yeah?" Vesta questioned.

"Well, you are Sailor Mini Moon's Senshi. You can think of myself and my Senshi as the 'Outer Senshi' to Sailor Chibi Moon." Aldebaran explained as there was another knock on the door. "You may enter."

In walked in Omicron, Rigel, Polaris and Capella, along with three other girls and Princess Usagi, leaving the door still open.

"Hello Aldebaran." Omicron greeted as they came over.

"Hello. Hello Princess Usagi."

"Don't worry about bowing. I get sick of it." Usagi stated. "We've been looking for Vesta."

"Yeah, well, here I am."

"Oh, I'm sorry, Aldebaran. These are my other three Senshi: Pallas, Ceres and Juno. Along with Vesta, they are my Sailor Quartet." Princess Usagi introduced, then turning her attention to Vesta. "Why are you here?"

"I wanted to speak with Aldebaran. I needed advice."

"And a little assurance." Aldebaran added. "She's worried about what the ten of us are about to face."

"We all are." Pallas commented. "We're all worried." She restated trying to assure her friend.

"What should we do?"

"Princess, we will fight. And fight hard. It's all we can do." Aldebaran stated. "And when did I become the 'mother' figure in this?" She asked after realizing what was happening.

"You seem like you're the wisest out of all of us." Ceres stated.

"I think Neo Queen Serenity is the wisest, though."

"Yes, by my mother won't talk about her days as Sailor Moon."

Princess Usagi stated.

"Then what about Sailors Venus, Jupiter, Mars or Mercury? Ever talk to them?"

"Or are you not allowed?" Omicron added to Rigel's question.

The five girls looked at each other and shrugged.

"Never really thought about it." Princess Usagi admitted. "Although, my dad did tell me stories when I was little."

The iconic lightbulb lit in Aldebaran's head.

"I have an idea."

"What? Ask him?" Polaris asked.

"Yes."

"I think the king has more important things to do than indulge us in stories." Polaris argued.

"Oh do I?" a man's voice asked from behind.

All the girls turned to see who it was.

"King Endymion!" They all chimed in shock and then bowed.

So, I brought in the queen, king, Chibi-Usa, and the Sailor Quartet (previously known as the Amazon Quartet, and also known as the Sailor Asteroids)... I had a harder time naming the chapter, hence why it is so simple, than writing it. I did make a mistake though since I stopped halfway through it and didn't re-read it before continuing. I am glad I caught it though before I submitted the chapter. Enjoy!
