Madoka looked at the bag she was holding and at Naruto. She looked confused before asking
"What is it?" she saw Naruto smiling before standing up and rolling his shoulders.
"Hope" Naruto said "That Madoka is a Blue Lantern. It is like my green power ring, only its powered by the light of hope. But there is a downside. While it is a power ring the blue lanterns need a Green Lanterns to access the full ability and return we get a power boost"
"Warning Ring power levels at 5%" the ring said
"What do I do?" Madoka asked
"Put on the ring and point it at the lantern, and it should do the rest" Naruto instructed
"Alright" Madoka said pointing her new power ring at the blue lantern which came with it. Suddenly a light hit the ring and turned Madoka's eyes blue.
"In fearful day in raging night
With strong hearts full, our soul ignites
When all seems lost in the war of light
Look to the stars for hope burns bright!" Madoka said the oath of the Blue Lantern corps before she was engulfed in it. Once the light died down it revealed Madoka's blue lantern uniform. It was comprised of a blue halter top dress with the front part of the skirt going to just above the knees while the back was cape like, a pair of blue ribbons in place of her normal red ones, thigh high black stocking, knee length high heeled boots with a diagonal cut on the top, elbow length gloves and her eyes shifted from pink to blue.
"Nice look, whole space age Magical girl thing going on" Naruto laughed before becoming serious.
"My Turn" Naruto said
"Hold on, here" Madoka said pointing her ring at Naruto's ring connecting the two by a blue light
"Ring power level at 200%"
"You supercharged it" Naruto said puzzled.
"Yep, the database said I could do that" Madoak confirmed
"Thank, now as I said before my turn" Naruto smirked
"in brightest day, In Blackest night
No evil shall escape my sight
Let those who worships evil's might
Beware my power Green Lantern's LIGHT!" Naruto said as oath as he switched to full power mode showing his ninja like uniform. "Now I believe we have a witch to beat black and blue"
"Yeah we do, and hopefully when we beat it this storm will go away"
"Well then let's show it a show of Will and HOPE!" Naruto said as he gained a fire like aura from the supercharge.
"I'll start off" Madoka said firing off several hope blast. They hit their target knocking her back a bit when Naruto construct a ballistic missile and fired it off. Next Madoka flew up and summon a pair of desert eagle handguns and started taking pot shots at the witch with Naruto nearby swinging his usual Halberd, creating deep wounds on the witch while Madoka summoned a grenade and shoved it into one of the Halberd wounds.
"Fire in the HOLE!" Madoka said as the grenade exploded. She looked back to see how badly the witch was damage.
"We still need to do more" Naruto said hovering in mid-air as Madoka frowned. She had spotted several dozen familiars coming at them.
"We'll deal with those first" Naruto said as he constructed a large machine gun.
"Right behind you" Madoka said constructing a crossbow and both fired with energy bullets and arrows.
"Mrs Kaname?" Sayaka said as the four girls came back to the shelter first coming up to the woman "Are you okay?"
"Sayaka, is Madoak safe" Junko asked
"What do you mean?" Homura asked.
"She said a friend was still out in the storm and needed her help. I thought you came across them" Junko stated
"We came back just now, we didn't see Madoka or her friend" Sayaka said
"I know Madoka said she would explain it, but what is going on?" Junko asked.
"We're not sure" Kyoko lied.
"Sayaka you're Madoka's best friend, please tell me what's going on?"
"Its complicated. the short version is that Madoka and us have been saving people's lives for a month now and this friend Madoka's rescuing is kind of like our mentor, alongside Mami here"
"Hello" Mami said
"And right now, Madoka and our mentor is fighting probably something akin to a boss fight" Kyoko said as Homura was now worried.
'What...what was Madoka's wish?' she panicked, suddenly her heartbeat accelerated
"HOMURA!" Kyoko shouted as Homura started to fall, until Mami caught her. "Shit it's her heart again"
"I'll go get the doctor you girls stay here!" Junko said running off.
"Madoka, her wish" Homuar whimpered
"I know, we'll find out what it is" Sayaka said
"Oh Madoka Kaname finally has a wish?" Kyubey asked appearing
"Yeah so spill it already, what did Madoka wish for, what did she ask you to do?" Sayaka asked.
"What do you mean, I haven't contracted Madoka Kaname" Kyubey said
"Then...how is Madoka fighting?" Mami asked shocked.
"I have no idea, but it should be interesting to find out" Kyubey said with something close to smugness in his voice
"Now, get lost we're dealing with several crisis here and we don't need to xeno-ass to make it worse" Kyoko snapped
"Very well" Kyubey said disappearing into shadows.
"NARUTO!" Madoka screamed as he was hit with the flames of Walpurgisnacht, Luckily a Dragon came out of the flames and smashed into the massive witch. Naruto emerged from the flames holding a massive nodachi.
"If you're going to play with fire, hope you can stand getting BURNT" he shouted slashing at the witch, cutting off her arm as Madoka used her gun constructs to inflict more damage Naruto joining in the gun show with multiple miniguns. He smirked as he heard the several dozen rotating barrels start up before unload thousands of round. That's when Madoka came up with something
"Naruto, those gears must be some kind of weakness!" she shouted out. Naruto nodded while flying up with the new blue lantern. However they were blocked by a building
"I've got this" Naruto said using his ring to throw the building back at the witch as Madoka summoned a drill, using it to bore into the top gear, leaving a foot deep hole. Naruto created a pipe bomb and shoved it in the hole. "We better get back" Naruto said grabbing Madoka's hand and jetting off to safety as Madoka fired a ring blast at the other gears.
"Take that!" Madoka said before the bomb exploded.
"Alert ring power at 45%" Madoka's ring said
"Warning power at 35% Naruto's ring said as the two landed on the ground as Madoka summoned a elegant bow.
"Help me with this" Madoka said as she and Naruto drew back the bowstring creating an aqua energy arrow larger than the missiles Naruto were using before
"Beware my Power Green Lantern's LIGHT!"
"Look to the stars for hope burns BRIGHT!" the two said the last line of their oaths before firing. The massive energy arrow pierced the witch creating cracks of green and blue light. Soon the witch sounded its final shriek before exploding releasing a pair of shockwaves, one green the other blue. The shockwave cleared away a small section the storm taht had formed thanks to Walpurgisnacht. Naruto and Madoka suddenly collapsed to one knee was their power rings ran out of power.
"We did it" Naruto smiled. "We did it!"
"We won!" Madoka cheered hugging the blonde.
"Yeah we did, and it looks like the storm has calmed down a bit. Nothing but rain and grey clouds. Should be safe to go home tomorrow" Naruto said getting up as the grey clouds formed where the massive shockwaves clear them. Blasting the two Lanterns with freezing cold rain. "And now we should get back to the shelter"
"Race you there" Madoka laughed rushing off in the cold rain with Naruto behind her.
"Think they're okay?" Sayaka asked as Mami came to her.
"Honestly I have no idea" the blonde admitted as Kyoko and Homura came up, Homura being more stable thanks to some medicine. Kyoko grabbed a pocky stick and placed in her mouth.
"Its seems to have settled out there" Kyoko said bored as she munched on the pocky stick.
"So?" Sayaka said
"Just saying" Kyoko murmured. Homura looked saddened. The girls knew that Madoka and Naruto was out there, but they had no idea of what was happening to them.
"Why the long faces?" Naruto asked as he and a drenched Madoka walked up the stairs lugging water with them.
"NARUTO" Mami and Kyoko shouted.
"MADOKA!" Homura and Sayaka shouted relief flooding their voices
"Are you two okay?" Mami asked
"Yeah we are and more importantly, we won"
"What?" Homura asked shocked
"WE WON!" Madoak cheered.
"Impossible, but we didn't damage her" Homura said
"It was like going at a tank with bubbles" Sayaka said
"Who cares, all we know is that we're safe" Naruto said as Madoka ran off.
"I guess he needs to check in with her mother" Naruto smiled trying to hug Mami her back away making Naruto confused
"Not until you're dry" Mami said walking off making the other girls laughed quietly.
"Hero of the world and I need to dry off before getting any affection" Naruto said as Homura peaked his cheek
"That was for keeping Madoka safe" Homuar said walking off while flicking her hair back.
"And this is for making us worried" Kyoko said slugging her cousin in the shoulder. "And now you better get into some dry clothes so you don't catch a cold"
Once Naruto and Madoka were in dry clothes, Madoka being affectionately strangled by her mother Junko with her father Tomohisa just smiled, Mami asked the big question in secret away from the Kaname family.
"How was Madoka able to fight?" she asked.
"You're not going to believe this but I found a second lantern, this one was blue" Naruto said pulling on a black over shirt leaving it unbutton to show the white shirt underneath. It was during a solo hunt I went to the Observational Tower and while I found a fallen Blue Lantern, he was close to death, anyway he's mission was to find Madoak and deliver a lantern to her for when the Entity fo Grief would arrive" Naruto said
"Walpurgisnacht" Homura said
"Yes, he also said that the Incubator granting a wish to Madoka will bring forth something worse" Naruto said
"The witch of Salvation, all those who were caught in her labyrinth was put into a bliss induced daze." Homura said
"Anyway the Blue Lanterns wanted to help Madoka defend herself and the earth, even if they let her be the Blue Lantern of Earth" Naruto explained
"How did you find out about this?" Kyoko asked as Junko looked to the group
"He told me via telepathy" Naruto said once Junko walked over to them
"Hey! I want to talk to four, can you come by the house in a couple of days, once this whole storm business is done?" Junko asked
"I guess" Mami said
"Sure" Naruto shrugged.
"Good" Junko said "I'll see you in a couple of days."
It was a few days later and the storm was a bad memory, except for the Puella Magi and Lanterns who could never forget the witch that nearly brought the town to ruin.
"So what do you think Madoka's mum wants to talk to us about?" Kyoko asked
"Who knows, lets find out" Naruto said acting as the group's leading knocked on the door. Soon it was answered by Madoka
"Hey Maddy" Naruto said as the four came in after removing their shoes.
"Mama's in the kitchen" Madoka said leading them into the room, where Junko was sipping her coffee. "Mama, they're here"
"Thanks Madoka, now" she said
"I know, back to homework" Madoka said.
"I grounded her for the little stunt she pulled going out to help her friend, which I take it you are that friend Naruto?" Junko asked
"Yes ma'am" Naruto said sitting down next to Mami, while Kyoko sat across from him.
"Now onto why I call you here, it has come to my attention you four don't have parents." Junko said making them a bit depressed. "However I want to make a deal with you"
"And that would be?" Homura asked
"As of now I'll be your legal guardian. Now you'll be able to keep you lodgings and everything like that, but you have to check in once a week, anywhere from just for just a quick hello to a main meal deal?" Junko asked. The four teens thought about this for a while before smiling and nodded
"DEAL" the quintet said
"Excellent, now that you're all here. Why don't we start this new arrangement with a meal" Junko said to which her statement got affirmatives, especially from Kyoko.
"I guess I better start cooking then" Tomohisa said smiling as Madoka joined in the group with her brother.
Meanwhile on the bridge near the site of the Walpurgisnacht battle, stood a teenager with his headphones on as his sandy brown hair blew in the wind. A wild smiled appeared on his face.
"So this was where that happened. Cool; now I'll change the status quo in a flash!" he said before disappearing leaving behind an after image.

Okay I just want to say thank you guys for joining me for the first part of the Justice Vanguard saga, which was originally going to be a trilogy, until I got inspirations for another two or three. Now whether or not I do all of these is a good question because I tried doing something similar to this called the Adolescent Defence series, which you can read the ones posted on my page and the future idea I have/had for the series on my profile. The Adolescent Defence series was a bunch of Anime and Marvel comics crossover, so basically one anime crossed over with a marvel comic title leading to an Avengers styled story. I got to the one after the avengers styled story and stopped. Which was a shame because I had good ideas for it, but consider this a second attempt at combining anime and comics, only this time with DC comics instead of Marvel.
So where did I get the idea for Justice Vanguard? Three sources: Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Naruto (I can't remember if I was listening to an opening from the anime, watching a bit of the anime or reading a fanfic; anyway it just became part of the story) and Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham (Seriously the Lego games rule, and best Batman gaming series behind the Batman Arkham series!) How the story came together was I had started watching Madoka Magica and playing Lego Batman 3 when it popped into my head, and then it snowball. So Naruto became a Green Lantern, Sayaka was brought back from death with Kyoko (Best girl of Madoka Magica, followed by Mami) Also the Green Lantern aspect was cemented when the idea of Kyubey's race being allergic/weak to emotions got thought of (And why has no one else thought of this I have no idea, I'm doing a lot of bracketing aren't I. Tangents everyone!) And so the idea was born and published on DeviantArt with plans to post it on here if the idea went well. But I gave in and posted it her anyway.
SO what will happen next, simple I have two major villains though of and how to have them interact in this series and they are: DEATHSTROKE, THE JOKER and if those two work out RED HOOD and the SUICIDE SQUAD will have villain roles. So I'm adding for heroes: THE FLASH, BATMAN BEYOND (Seriously that guy gets very little love. Hey Warner Bros, where's the Batman Beyond movie; instead of rebooting batman every five years do a Batman Beyond movie!) HUNTRESS, WONDER WOMAN, AQUAMAN (Thank you Snyder version) BLUE BEETLE (Jaime Reyes styled not Ted Kord) and I'll still have major roles for the Puella Magi, heck Sayaka will get a bigger role in the Joker story and Homura may get extra powers (wink, wink!) and a background character will have a connection with the next villain Deathstroke (Who will be styled after the Arrow version of Slade Wilson!)
