Elizabeth just stood there, smiling, not doing anything.

Holly could not believe her eyes. Why was Elizabeth smiling?! What the hell was going on here.

Koboi was getting irritated. 'What are you waiting for!' 'DO IT!'

Elizabeth looked at Koboi. 'I will shoot you, don't worry.'

'Well than do it!' Koboi was raising her voice.

'Not yet.' Elizabeth answered calmly. 'First I want an answer to my question.'

'Fine.' Koboi got her smirk back on her face. 'If you promises to shoot me after.'

'Deal' Elizabeth said.

Holly wanted to step in and stop this nonsense. But she was too afraid, Artemis was still lying on the floor not moving.

'So child, what is your ooh so important question?'

'Why me?'

Why me what?' Koboi sounded irritated again, probably because she couldn't stand it that she had to ask what Elizabeth meant.

'Why try to piss me off so much that I would kill you?'

Koboi started laughing, really loud.

Holly who had been paying attention to Artemis, was smiling. It seemed Artemis wasn't out but he was moving himself away from Koboi and closer to Holly and Elizabeth. It went very slowly but it looked like it was working. When Artemis was totally in the clear, Holly could finally take action.

'It didn't matter who it was stupid child! Anyone would do.' Again she laughed. 'I mean all I want is to die, and now….'

But Elizabeth interrupted Koboi. 'You are lying.'

'WHAT!' Now Koboi really couldn't control herself anymore. 'Whahahahahaha, well if you want to think you are special. That is fine by me. But just do it!.'

'But you see' Elizabeth said while taking a step towards Koboi. 'I am special.'

Holly wanted to step in, but was stopped by what Elizabeth said. How did she know she was special? Did she mean the same kind of special? But she could not know, that was impossible right?!

'At first, I could not figure it out.' Elizabeth continuous. 'It could not be just because I have elven blood in me.'

Silence. Even Koboi did not know what to say. But Elizabeth just went on.

'Because we all know you don't like them either.'

Artemis was getting up and was now standing next to Elizabeth.

What?! Why would Artemis do that? Holly really did not get what was going on anymore.

'And we didn't receive that piece of the information until later on. So we had to figure, it was something else. We also thought it was because of me.' Artemis said. 'But that doesn't make too much sense. Because well you pissed me off, believe me. But that wasn't your plan.'

'He was a handy tool though.' Elizabeth said smiling.' He already knew about elf's and would lead me straight to you.'

'So the question is, why me. And now no more lies.'

Koboi wasn't saying anything.

'Then no shooting.' Elizabeth said while waving her gun around.

Still nothing.

'Okay, okay, because you decided not to explain, I will.' Artemis said. He stood there with full confidence.

Holly had enough. 'Well that would be great!' She said. 'Because I am at a loss.'

'Well the last piece of the puzzle will be available to us in about 3, 2, 1.'

Foaly called right at that moment. 'Holly I know it is probably a very bad time, but this information you need to hear.'

'Holly' Elizabeth asked 'Will you please put Foaly on speaker, this I want to hear.'

Holly put Foaly on speaker. 'Okay Foaly what you got?'

'Well the file is now completely open and you will not believe this! But I check and double check and still….'

'Please Foaly. Will you just tell us already.'

'The mother of Elizabeth was…'

'Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo' Koboi screamed. The light flickered and the device Holly was carrying fell of and broke.

Artemis was a bit shocked, he knew Koboi was powerful, he would be stupid to deny it. But this was not what he had been excepting.

Everybody stood there in silence.

Koboi had fallen to the floor, she wasn't saying anything.

Then Elizabeth did something no one expected her to do. Not even Artemis.

She walked towards Koboi and yelled at her.

'TELL ME…. NOW.' She said. Her voice was dark and deep.

Koboi looked at her. 'You look just like her.' She mumbled.

Koboi was standing up, she wasn't taking her eyes of Elizabeth, not even for a second. 'Fine, I will tell you.' She was getting her old composer back. 'But a deal is a deal.'

Holly wanted to shout: No Elizabeth you can't shoot her. But Artemis stopped her. 'It will be alright Holly, I promise. ' He smiled at her.

Holly did not know what to think anymore, she trusted Artemis, but well this was all so weird. And it looked like Artemis lied to her, he seems to know so much more. But for now, she would trust him.

'The reason why it had to be you.' Koboi waved her little finger toward Elizabeth. 'Is that…' she stopped for a moment, probably weighing all of her options. But than decided, this was the best course of action.

'You are my sisters little girl.' She said very softly

Holly could not believe what she was hearing. But Artemis did not look surprised at all. He had it figured out from the moment he found out Elizabeth was a half elf. He knew there had to be more, and after going over all the options, this one, this fact was the one he could not disprove. So it had to be true. But he needed Koboi to say it, before he could really believe it. Now everything fell into place.

'Shoot her.' Artemis said

'No Artemis, Elizabeth don't listen to him, you can't do that!' Holly started to panic. She started running toward Elizabeth and Koboi, but she knew she would never make it.

'A deal is a deal.' Elizabeth said with a smile on her face.

How could she be smiling, how could Artemis be smiling, this was the end, a lot of lives will be lost, and who knows what else will happen. This can't be.

The gun fired and hit Koboi in her neck.

What was this feeling, this is no bullet, this was…..

Elizabeth looked at Koboi, 'Well you never said I had to shoot you with a real gun.'

Koboi lost consciousness.

'a tranquilizer gun.' Holly almost shouted it, she felt so relieved.

'Yeah' Elizabeth said. 'As planned.'

'As planned.' Holly said a bit angry, she was looking at Artemis.

'Sorry Holly' Artemis said, 'I will explain in a minute, will you please check on Butler fist.'

Holly had forgotten Butler completely, 'Of course.' She said a bit ashamed and went over to Butler.

Elizabeth could not believe it was over. Artemis put it hand on her shoulder. 'You did great.'

'When did you figure it out, Artemis?'

'Well not long after I heard you are a….'

'Half elf.' Elizabeth finished his sentence.

'Yeah it is still hard to believe.' Artemis said. 'I am sorry, you had to find that out alone in the tunnel.'

'So you where the person Artemis looked at in the tunnel.' Holly had joined them. 'Butler is going to be fine.'

'I woke up when that crazy elf started screaming.' Butler had joined the rest too. 'I was too dizzy to do anything, I apologize Artemis.'

'I am very sorry my friend.' Artemis said

'Why are you sorry?!' Butler said. 'Artemis, what did you do!'

'I will explain everything.'

'Well you better start now!' Holly said a bit impatience. She felt she was already out of the loop for too long.

So next chapter, will it be the last, or will something happen :O I can promise that the next episode the ship will become clear ^^ So who do you think Artemis will end up with Holly or Elizabeth?
