Stage 8: Birth of Brotherhood pt. 2
"C'mon you highness, your sister won't attack, because you are here and yet she has not met our demands." Diego taunting Euphemia. "My sister will never answer the demands of terrorists even if she had to." said Euphemia. Diego smirked and pointed to towards a row of hostages with terrorist aiming their guns at them. Euphemia looked and was frightened to see what will happen to them. They were begging for their lives. "What are you going to do to them?" she asked. "It's been two hours." said Diego and snapped his fingers. They fired at the lined up hostages. Bullets barraged and the hostages fell into the pool water. The water became red with blood. Diego went in front of the rest of the hostages and pulled out his pistol. He fired his gun, killing more hostages one by one. Euphemia horrifically watched. "ENOUGH PLEASE I BEG OF YOU I WILL TELL ANYTHING JUST STOP THIS SENSELESS MURDER," said Euphemia "YOU MONSTER!" Diego looked at Euphemia and grabbed her hair, forcing her to look at him. "Damn right I am," said Diego "Take a good fucking look." His face began to transform, his ears turn into wolf ears, fangs drew out from between his lips, a wolf's tail grew from behind him. Euphemia was frightened by his transformation. "Am I a monster now?" said Diego in his newly transformed state.
Armored vehicles and military aircraft rode through the streets as they approach Clovisland. Roberto was in the lead vehicle. Rojas was driving. "So what's the plan?" asked Rojas. Roberto pulls out a map of the Clovisland pool. "Okay Los Guerrero's have anti air and anti-ground units in the surrounding buildings; we got Perez units on their way across the ones in the east. The hostages are on the west side; let's assume they are going to separate the men from the women and take the women into the pool area building," said Roberto, "First we are to save the men. Dominic, Carlos, Ivan, Marco, and I will take on the Guardian frames and the Sutherlands. "They are gonna panic and fall back into the building God willing if that happens. Thanks to our stealth technology, some units are at the roof." Los Guerrero's have taken in G.E.L's commander, what if our units get caught by them?" asked Rojas. "We Lycans have super hearing, keen sight, and super smell. The sounds of gunfire and explosions and the smell of bloods is going to keep them occupied." said Roberto
Meanwhile inside the G-1 base. "I WANT THAT BASTARD DEAD!" yelled Cornelia as she pace frantically. "My lady every rescue attempt has been met with deaths in our side and we need to ensure the safety of Princess Euphemia and Guilford." said Darlton. Cornelia gritted her teeth; her emotions are getting the best of her. "Viceroy, the terrorist are trying to contact us." said one officer. Cornelia looked at the transponder screen. She sat down, closing her eyes. "Play the message." said Cornelia. Video played on the screen and showed Diego in his anthro form holding a gun at one of his hostages. "Cornelia in five minutes a chopper with our leader aboard," said Diego, executing the hostage. "If that chopper is shot down or delayed, not only will I kill all the hostages," he continued, grabbing Euphemia and forcing her in front camera. "EUPHEY!" yelled Cornelia. "I'll cut off pink hair's boobs and let her bleed to death." said Diego and he put a knife on her chest. The message stopped playing. Soon a white dot appeared on the transponder screen. "That must be the chopper he was talking about." said Darlton. Cornelia was infuriated, but calmed herself. "Let it pass." said Cornelia.
The chopper went pass the military and flew towards Clovisland. Diego saw the chopper and was pleased. "I knew she couldn't pass it up." he said the chopper landed at the front entrance and a man wearing a green officer's uniform and a red beret. He has a distinguishing scar crossing his blinded left eye. More soldiers came out. "We made it General Guerrero." said one soldier. "I see that everything is going according to plan." said General Guerrero. "This plan will out match S-day thousands will die." he said. The Britannian guards who took part in the attack were waiting for him. General Guerrero looked at them with disdain. "What are you supposed to be?" asked General Guerrero. "The people you're going pay for helping you out." said one guard. "Ah yes." he said and he snapped his fingers. "KAT KAT KAT KAT KAT KAT" The guards that were with General Guerrero killed the Britannian guards.
Roberto and his comrades were almost there. "Roberto you're not gonna believe this," said Rojas, "I just got word that General Guerrero is at the pool." Roberto looked at him. "He rarely participates in these attacks unless... S-day," said Roberto "Put me on with the Military." Meanwhile Cornelia was in her Glouscester waiting to attack. "This time they will pay with their lives." she said. Her transponder activated and Darlton appeared on the screen. "Viceroy we are receiving another transmission, it's from Commander Knightwolf." said Darlton. Cornelia gasped, she wondered what was he doing contacting her. "Put him through." she said. Then Knightwolf appeared on the screen. "Cornelia, Los Guerrero's is planning another attack on your forces possibly from the south and they might be ready to attack on areas closest to Clovisland. Tell your forces to," Cornelia interrupted Knightwolf "Hold it right there, Why should I believe you?" she said. "Because why is General Guerrero in Clovisland right now?" he said and the transmission ended. Cornelia still didn't trust him, but took his warning. "Darlton send soldiers to areas surrounding Clovisland land and tell our forces to be prepared for an attack from the south." "Yes my lady" said Darlton. Inside the G-1 base unknown units were appearing on the Transponder.
"Get at all the women inside the building." said General Guerrero. His soldiers followed his orders and started grabbing all the women. One soldier grabbed Euphemia. "UNHAND ME YOU PIG!" she yelled. Sounds of gunfire and explosions echoed from a distant, gaining the attention of everyone. The gunfire grew closer; the terrorist began to aim their guns at its direction. Soon large aircraft flew over them and dropped the Knights Templar frames. They landed on the ground hard; cracking the concrete. Everyone looked at with wonder, but Diego grabbed a Perez anti-tank rifle and began to fire explosive rounds at them. Bullets from the Perez exploded on the surface of the Templars, but have done no damage. Soon more Los Guerrero's soldiers fired at them. Bullets ricochet off their armor.
"Alright Muchacho's show them what were made of and take out their knightmares and guardians first." said Knightwolf and he moved his joysticks. His Templar raised its rifle and fired at the terrorist. "WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY?!" yelled Diego and fired his Perez Rifle. Bullets exploded on the Templars but they didn't even leave a scratch. "They can even take rounds from the Perez rifle," said Knightwolf as he fired his assault rifle-like anti-knightmare gun at a row of Sutherlands. The Sutherlands tried hard hit them, but the Tenplar was moving fast to avoid the gunfire. As the fighting continued; armored cars coming from the front the entrance raced in the battle. "You think you can take me down?" Roberto boasted. One sutherland got destroyed from his gunfire and came close to the other two,. Desperatly trying to stop Knightwolf, the two remaining sutherlands fired their slash harkens as they fired their knightmare rifles. Dodging them all he he threw a powerful punch aginst the other Sutherland and he destroyed the last one by shooting at the cockpit. General Guerrero's noticed and ordered his troops to stop them. Dominic was the lead car. "Time to work soldiers." he said and grabbed two Perez rifles. A terrorist who was at the rooftop fired and RPG at the Lead. "KABOOOOM" the grenade exploded; throwing the car in the air. The other armored vehicles stopped and more soldiers ran out. Dominic's car landed sideways, but Dominic kicked open the door and jumped out, firing his dual-wield Perez rifles and enemy knight frames. "Protect the hostages at any and all costs." said Knightwolf. He pushed the joysticks forward and his Templar jumped high in the air and went toward where the hostages are at. "I have to be careful." Knightwolf said to himself. Guardian Frames went in front of his landing and fired their knightmare rifles at Knightwolf. "Just what I need." he said and fired his Slash Harkens. His slash Harkens hit two Guardians, making them fall on their backs and he landed on the last one softening his fall. "Knightwolf you got this?" said Rojas who was in the other Templar. "Help me protect the civilians." answered Knightwolf. The screeching sounds from the land spinners echoed as Rojas moved to Knightwolf. Ivan who was commanding the last Templar came at Knightwolf's aid as well.
"ACTIVATE SHIELDS!" yelled Knightwolf. Beam shields came from the Templars forearms appeared and blocked anything that tried to go through it. "Those frames, they are not ordinary. They have the same characteristics as the Lancelot." said Suzaku. "Commander the Vulchers have destroyed all the anti-air units." one soldier said on the radio. "Good, Alpha Pride surround the hostages and shield them." said Roberto. His soldiers that were wearing the heavy armor surrounded the hostages protecting them. GENERAL WE HAVE TO GET YOU OUT OF HERE!" yelled Diego General Guerrero shook his head. As General Guerrero got up and ran, a bullet went through his neck and he fell on the ground. Diego looked at him and saw the blood squirting out of his neck. GENERAL!" He yelled as Diego rushed to aid him.
Soon the terrorist started to retreat into the pool building, but Knightwolf's soldiers were on the rooftops firing their guns at them. Los Guerrero's was losing the battle and Diego knew it. He stands over General Guerrero's lifeless body. "All forces fall back into the tunnels." Diego said on his earpiece and looked at the Templar frames. "Commander look, they are retreating into the nearby buildings." said Rojas. Knightwolf looked at his transponder and saw the retreating terrorist, "send units to capture them. Right now the hostages are important. Especially the sub-viceroy." said Knightwolf.
Soldiers went around making sure that all of the rescued hostages were comforted and treated for any wounds. "I'm fine thank you." Euphemia said to a soldier. Wounded and dead were gathered near the hostages. Nina, Shirley, and Kallen looked with despair. "So many died just to protect us." said Shirley. One wounded soldier stood up and said "God be praised." as Commander Knightwolf walked around observing his wounded men and the civilians. Paula who was in the fight looked around to see if anyone else was hurt and he saw Nina bleeding from her ankle. He approached her with a first aid kit in his hands. "Here let me take a look at it." He said to Nina. Nina was afraid and she hid behind Shirley. Paula stood in front of her, feeling overcome with guilt. "I-I remember you now." said Paula. Nina gasped and covered her head. "Please forgive her she," Shirley plead with Paula, "There's no need to ask for forgiveness." said Paula. Commander Knightwolf walked upon Paula and looked at Shirley.
He noticed that there were a few people missing. "There was a blonde headed woman and Japanese man with you. Where are they?" he asked Shirley felt intimidated, but answered. "I-I don't know." she said. He looked around to find Milly and Suzaku. "Commander Knightwolf," One soldier approached, "What is it?" Knightwolf answered. "Los Guerrero's made escape tunnels in the surrounding buildings and they took a handful of hostages." said the soldier. He was shocked and realized that Milly was among them. "Paula you and your unit stay here to evacuate," he said to Paula. "EVERYONE ELSE SATTLE UP WE GOT MORE LIVES TO SAVE!"
"Well so much for an ambush said." said Darlton. Soon his transponder starting beeping. Gunfire and explosions erupted outside. Los Guerrero's and Britannian Forces engaged in another gunfight. "Cornelia in her gloucsester battled with their Sutherlands. Diego and more of his surviving comrades along with more hostages escaped in armored trucks driving through the chaos. Knightwolf in the lead vulcher chased after him. "Be careful, we don't know which truck has the hostages." Knightwolf said to his pilot. "Diego they're chasing us." said the driver. Diego looked out the window and gritted. "Go to the news station, I have a plan." he said. "Should we fire at them sir?" the pilot said to Knightwolf. "No we are already in the city, we can't risk civilians getting hurt." he said. "Commander you might wanna take a look at this." said a soldiers. He passed his Thermal Binoculars to him and Knightwolf looked through them. He looked in one or the armored trucks and saw heat signatures in it. "Sakuradite probably rigged with bombs," said Knightwolf. "Fire a disengagement missile on the last truck." he ordered. The missile launched and hit the truck rendering it paralyzed. "That should stop them from blowing up. Send someone to secure it." "FUCK FUCK FUCK!" yelled Diego. "We made it to the news station." said his soldier.
They got out and stormed the station. "EVERYONE GET DOWN!" Diego yelled and fired his pistol killing two security guards. As the siege continued Knightwolf saw the missing hostages and saw Milly and Suzaku with them. "Alpha Pride engage. Watch your fire, civilians in the area." said Knightwolf as he jumped out of the Vultcher. Landing on the ground hard, but he focus on his mission. Knightwolf aim his assault rifle at the terrorist and pulled the trigger. "KATKATKATKATKAT" More of Knightwolf's soldiers landed on started shooting at Los Guerrero's soldiers. "GO FORWARD MY BROTHERS!" yelled Knightwolf as he charged with superhuman speed, feeling bullets graze by him. The terrorist soon dropped their guns and held their hands in the air. Knightwolf and his soldiers still had their guns aimed at them to make sure they don't do anything stupid. "¿Dónde están los rehenes?" said Knightwolf, "Eres un perro de las ratas imperiales." the terrorist said. "Commander we found the rest." said his fellow soldier. With their hands in the air, they came from behind an armored truck and showed themselves to Knightwolf. He saw Milly and Suzaku unharmed and was relieved.
Meanwhile back at Clovisland, Paula alongside with Antonio, Dominic, Ivan and a handful of soldiers were ready to evacuate. "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN PLEASE STAND UP AND FOLLOW US TO THE EXIT. YOU ARE GOING TO BE REUNITED WITH YOUR FAMILIES AND YOUR FRIENDS," Paula yelled as people rejoice at his remark. "IF THERE IS ANYONE HERE WHO CANNOT WALK, FEELS ILL, OR HAS HEART TROUBLE; LET ME OR MY BROTHERS KNOW, WE ARE ALL TRAINED MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS!" Shirley stood up to speak to Paula. "This little girl cannot walk or see and they destroyed her wheel chair." she said to Paula, referring to Nunnally. Antonio in his uniform walked up. "I'll help her out." he said. He carried Nunnally on his back. Nunnally felt safe and rested her head on Antonio's shoulder. "I knew you'd protect me Antonio." she whispered. Antonio shrugged his shoulders and walked.
Knightwolf and his men were in formation, ready to take back the news station. "What do we know about the bomb?" he asked Rojas "There was over 500 gallons of sakuradite with plastic explosives rigged to explode. The damage would have been catastrophic and thousands would have died." Rojas said. "Thank you God for this blessing." Knightwolf thought to himself. "You also might want to know this, General Guerrero is dead we found his body." said Rojas. "Then the end of Los Guerrero's has come." said Knightwolf. Ready to fight to the end, Knightwolf pulled out his sword from its sheath and let out a cry. Soon his men let out their cries as well and charged into the station.
The fighting over at Clovisland was over and Cornelia desperately waiting to hear the status of her sister. Britannian soldiers were also waiting for anything to happen, until one soldier noticed something. "HEY LOOK!" said the soldier. The rescued hostages that were being escorted by their rescuers; with Euphemia next to Paula. Cornelia saw Euphemia with Paula and raced her glouscester towards them. "EUPHIE!" she said as she exited her cockpit. "SISTER!" Euphemia yelled out of excitement and ran towards Cornelia. She lunged at Cornelia with her arms extended and Cornelia opened her arms and hugged her. "I'm so glad that you are safe." Cornelia said. Paula looked at them and was happy for them to be reunited. Darlton caught up with Guilford and more hostages ran towards their families.
Knightwolf and his men were inside the station fighting the terrorist. Hiding behind cover to avoid the gunfire, Knightwolf pulled out a grenade. "KEEP FIGHTING MY BROTHERS!" he said pressing a detonator, "SHOW THEM THE CRUSADERS WILL!" throwing the grenade. The grenade rolled down the hallway between two terrorist. They noticed it and tried to flee, but the grenade exploded. "BOOOM" the blast from the grenade killed the terrorist and Knightwolf charged forward. "FEAR NO EVIL!" yelled Knightwolf. More of his men followed him to the newsroom where the staff was being held as hostages. Los Guerrero's continued to fire their guns at them. As they exchange gunfire, Knightwolfs assault rifle ran out of ammuntion, so he let go his rifle and pulled out his duel pistols.
"The enemy is closing in fast we can't stop them." said a terrorist. Diego stopped texting on his phone and grinned. "Lay down your arms soldiers," he said, "The battle may be lost, but the war is not over." and Diego dropped his weapons. Following his orders, the terrorist dropped their guns and put their hands in the air. Knightwolf and his men stormed the news room only to see that their enemy is surrendering. He went up to Diego and scolded at him. "Alot civilians were killed by your men, but atleast you killing ends here." said Knightwolf, "Britannia will fall to its knees, even though General Guerrero is dead, but Los Guerrero's will still remains strong." said Diego. Knightwolf punched him to the ground and looked back at his men. "Take these prisoners outside for the military and free the hostages," said Knightwolf and he looked at the newsroom equipment, "It's about time for a call to arms."
Meanwhile the military were still aiding the hostages seeing if everyone has been accounted for and to see how many people were killed. "Commander Knightwolf saved our lives; the least we can do is let his men go." Euphemia said to Cornelia trying to reason with Cornelia. Cornelia question everything until one of her officers went up to her. "Viceroy you might want to see this." he said to her Cornelia wondered what he was talking about. He played the news feed from the same station where Knightwolf was at, showing him sitting behind a desk.
"Good evening Japan, allow me first to apologize for this evening event. My name is Commander Knightwolf, I do like all of you like to enjoy my evening with sitting on the couch and watch TV, and I enjoy it as much as the next guy. However in the spirit of tribute usually relevant to someone's death or an end to a terrible war, to celebrate a nice holiday. I believe that we should take this August the 19th; a day that should be remembered to sit down with each and every one of you to chit-chat a little. Of course there are those who do not want us to be heard," said Knightwolf. Cornelia watched as she scolded at him. Many people even watched his speech on TV all over the city; including Shirley and her friends. "Why, because while deceit remains in disguise as reality. Truth will always maintain her power for those who are will to listen to the announcement of victory; However victory cannot be heard, because the truth is there is something terribly wrong." said Knightwolf. Milly was outside the station with Suzaku being guarded by Knightwolf's soldiers. Watching his speech, Milly thought to herself "What is he trying to say?" "We have cruelty and injustice, human trafficking, constant terrorism and genocide and when you want to object to these atrocities; you have guns aimed at you from all directions. How did this happen and who should we blame? Well there are those who are more responsible and they will be held accountable, but let's be honest if you seek the guilty, then look in a mirror. I know why you done these thing; you were afraid and you were ignorant. Afraid of the reprisals and retaliation stripping you of your common sense and for certain individuals are aiming their guns at unarmed women and children for the sake of terror. So tonight we decided to end that repetitive cycle; tonight WE THE BROTHERHOOD OF LYCANS ROSE TO PUT AND END TO THE RAIN OF TERROR."
"The Brotherhood of Lycans?" said Cornelia. Euphemia looked at the screen. "While they were guarding us, they kept referring to themselves as brothers." said Euphemia. "200 years ago a king created Faithmaria to fulfill his dreams. A dream that loving-kindness, compassion, tolerance, equality, faith, justice, and freedom are more than words, but they are ideas and instruments. Therefore if you desire to protect those you love or to put an end to terrorism and slavery once and for all, then I encourage you to take a stand against these growing tides, if you are G.E.L then raise your arms and rally by me. As for Los Guerrero's or other terrorist organizations and to those who kidnap women and children and force them into slavery. Here our howls and prepare to feel OUR GUNS GO LIVE!"
