With the light chit-chat …..Duo , Rajat , Sachin n Purvi reached the bureau. Others were waiting for them.
Acp- Abhijeet-Daya…Ho gaye halls final?
Abhijeet- Haan Sir…! Humne "Grand Basant Wedding Hall" final kiya hai. Bahut hi achchi jagah hai aur humne 5 rooms aur ek hall book krvaya hai.
Acp- Acha chalo theek hai….Ab ye batao ….Cards ka kya hua ?
Tarika(barged in the convo)- Haan Abhijeet…..Tumne baat ki kya? Kab milenge cards?
Before Abhijeet could speak….Purvi spoke up naughtily…
Purvi- Ohhoo !…Kisi ko bahut jldi ho rhi hai cards dekhne ki….. Bhabhi…..thodi derr wait kar lo. Mil jayenge cards bhi aur mere Bhaiya bhi ! (And she laughed like a little girl)
Tarika turned crimson red on hearing Bhabhi from Purvi. Abhijeet smiled Shyly…..Salunkhe and ACP smiled.
Abhijeet- Sir…Kuch cards toh hume mil gaye baaki sab kal milenge.
Salunkhe- Lekin phir hum sabko invite kaise karenge?
Daya- Sir…..Main kal bureau aate waqt le aaunga cards. Aur rahi baat invite krne ki toh hum sab khud jayenge invite krne. Waise bhi hamare toh dost hi honge. Shreya , Tarika aur Divyana jisko bhi invite krna chahe toh hum saath hi chale jayenge.
Acp- Tum theek keh rahe ho Daya…Aur baaki jinhe bulana hai wahan main aur Salunkhe khud jayenge.
Salunkhe- Theek hai….Ye sahi hai boss.
Acp(to Shreya)- Shreya….tum logon ki list ban gayi?
Shreya- Haan Sir….sab kuch ready hai.
Acp- Toh theek hai tum , Tarika aur Divyana jao Vineet ke saath aur job hi kharidna hai kharid lo. Aur Rajat-Purvi…Tum dono halls ki taiyari dekhoge. Wahan jao aur sab kuch apni dekh rekh mein karvao. Hum log parso hi shift honge. Freddy aur Nikhil …tum dono security settings dekhoge.
Daya- Aur hum Sir…?
DrS(smiled)- Tum….tum teeno intezaar karo meri betiyon ka…..! Aur jo bhi tumhare koi kaam bache ho wo kar lo.
Duo n Sachin smiled shyly. Tarika , Shreya,Divyana and Vineet left from there as they had to purchase some things whereas Rajat-Purvi moved to the wedding hall to supervise the work and also decide the decorations for Sangeet and Shaadi.
RAJVI in Car….
Purvi was happy and was looking outside window. The weather was cool and so Purvi was enjoying it. Rajat looked at her and smiled after seeing her enjoying the weather. A smile crept on his face.
Rajat- Purvi…Tumhe barish ka mausam achcha lagta hai ?
Purvi(turned to him)- Haan Sir….. Bahut pasand hai. Aur mujhe bheegna bhi bahut pasand hai.(She asked him cheerfully.)
A smile crept on Rajat's face …He thought…..
"Ye Purvi bhi na…Bilkul bachchi hai. Aaj car mein kaise keh rhi thi , Aap chahte hai ye choti si pyari si bachchi roye…Aur ab bhi bilkul bachchi ki tarah behave kr rhi hai"
Thinking this….a smile crept on his face. Purvi saw him smiling.
Purvi- Sir…..Aapko bhi barish ka mausam pasand hai na?
Rajat- Nahi Purvi….Mujhe bheegne ka bilkul shauk nhi hai.
Purvi- Toh phir aap muskara kyun rahe hai?
Rajat- Ye dekhkar ki tum ek chulbuli si pyari si ladki ho…Tum CID officer kaise ban gayi?
Purvi- Kyun…main CID officer nhi ban skti ?
Rajat(smiled)- Tum toh bahut achchi officer ho. Main bs ye keh raha tha ki tumhe dekh kar koi kahega hi nhi ki tum CID officer ho. Kabhi kabhi bilkul bachchi ki tarah behave krti ho. Par achchi lagti ho.
Purvi(smiled)- Thank you Sir….! Waise main aapse ek baat kahu ?
Rajat- Haan Kaho…!
Purvi- Sir…..Mujhe icecream khani hai….Please.
Rajat(looked at her surprisingly)-Icecream….is mausam mein?
Purvi- Haan Sir…..Abhi chahiye icecream…..Pleassee Sir.
Rajat- Purvi ….Bahut kaam hai abhi. Pehle halls check krne hai. Baad mein khana icecream.
Purvi(pouting)- Please Sir…..Abhi chahiye….Wo dekhiye…wo raha icecream parlor.(She pointed to an ice-cream parlor.) Please Sir…..chaliye na….Sirf 10 minute lagenge.
Rajat(strict this time)- Purvi maine kaha na…Abhi nahi matlab nahi. Kyun bachchon ki tarah behave kr rhi ho.
Purvi(sadly)- Okay Sir…!
In the meantime, they reached the halls. Purvi was still sad…..yet they started working. They met the manager and asked them to show the rooms as they needed to settle it as per their convenience. Rajat looked at Purvi and found her sad. He knew why was she sad so he said…
Rajat- I'm sorry Purvi….! Maine kuch zyada hi zor se bol diya tumhe.
Purvi- Its Okay Sir. Main hi zidd kr rhi thi.
Rajat(smiled)- Its Okay Purvi. Achcha chalo , Ab kaam kar le pehle.
Purvi nodded and then they moved to the rooms. The cleaners were cleaning the rooms and there were other things like bedsheets , Curtains etc which were to be set. There were beds in the room too. Purvi thought something and spoke….
Purvi – Sir…!
Rajat- Haan Bolo Purvi !Kya hua ?
Purvi- Sir , Main ye soch rhi thi ki kyun na hum 2 rooms mein beds lagva de and aur baaki 2 rooms mein sirf gadde lagva de kyunki ek room mein aap log rukhenge aur ek mein hum ladkiyan. Jin rooms mein hum beds lagvayenge wahan Acp Sir aur Salunkhe Sir aur Shreya ke parents reh lenge.
Rajat(smiled)- Good Idea Purvi. Yahi karte hain hum….! Ek room mein tum karvao aur ek mein main karvata hu.
Purvi- Okay Sir….!
Both of them moved towards the rooms. Purvi went in a room and there the cleaners were cleaning the windows. She made them do that in her style. After they were done , she asked them to move to other room and said that she'll arrange the beds and curtains herself. The cleaners nodded and moved to other room. Purvi set the bed and then started put curtains. Meanwhile , Rajat completed the second room and came into the room where Purvi was busy putting the curtains. He smiled looking at her busy with the curtains.
She was trying to put the curtains on the rod…when she disbalanced and was about to fall. But ,Rajat ran and hold her in his arms before she could fall. There was a cute eyelock between them. Purvi's hands were around his neck and he was holding her in his arms. They were so close that they could hear their heart beats. Rajat was lost in her deep and beautiful eyes. She could feel his warmth. She could feel the safety n warmth in his arms and she knew that nothing would happen to her until n unless he is there with her.
At the same time….Rajat's phone started ringing. With this sound….they came out of their dream worlds. Rajat immediately put her down and moved out of the room. Purvi sat on the bed thinking what all happened. She was a bit embarrassed and feeling shy. She remembered staring at him with her hands round his neck. After 10 minutes….Rajat came back and found her sitting. He called her…
Rajat- Purvi…!
Purvi(came out ofhis trance)- Ji Sir….kahiye! (But she didn't look at him)
Rajat- Daya Sir ka phone tha….Unhone kaam khatam kar ke unke ghar pahuchne ko kaha hai. Yahan curtains main laga deta hu . Tum tab tk dusre rooms mein dekh lo.
Purvi nodded and she moved out of the room .
Rajat's POV: Uff….Main bhi na..! Bas usey dekhta raha…Dekha kitna emarrased thi wo. Ab usey normal krne ke liye kuch karna padega.
He put on the curtains and then moved to other rooms. Within 3 more hours…..they were done with cleaning of the rooms and hall. All was as they thought. They both were sitting in the last room. Purvi was still uncomfortable with what all happened. Both of them were lost in their own worlds. Rajat decided to make her comfortable….
Rajat- Purvi …..I'm sorry !
Purvi- Sir…Aap kyun sorry bol rahe hai hai? Meri hi galti thi …..Mujhe dhyan rakhna chahiye tha. I am sorry.
Rajat- Purvi…..Tum sorry mat kaho aur jo hua wo bhul jao. Afterall , hum dost hai na.
Purvi smiled and now looked at him.
Purvi- Acha chaliye Sir…Mujhe bhukh lagi hai.
Rajat(smiled)- Chalo….! Phir aur bhi kaam hai.
They both moved to the restaurant nearby the hall and had their lunch. After they were done..Purvi asked….
Purvi- Sir…..ab kya kaam baaki hai?
Rajat- Hume caterer final krna hai. Lekin usse pehle ek zaruri kaam hai. Chalo.
Purvi- Kaisa zaruri kaam Sir…?
Rajat- Chalo toh Purvi…..Batata hu.
Purvi nodded and moved in the car. Rajat drove to the same ice-cream parlor to which she pointed. He stopped the car and asked her to come out. Purvi was surprised to see that they were in front of ice-cream parlor. She looked at Rajat and saw him smiling.
Rajat- Chalo….tumhe ice-cream khani thi na.
Purvi- Lekin aapne mana kiya tha na. Ab kyun aaye hai hum yahan?
Rajat(smiled)- Haan kiya tha lekin ab ek hi kaam baaki hai. Ab hum aaram se ice-cream kha skte hai. Chalo bhi.
Purvi(smiled widely)- Thank you Sir…!
They went in and Rajat ordered ice-cream for both of them. They also discussed other things about the preparations and enjoyed their ice-cream. Rajat was happy to see her smiling and also that she is normal.
